Druu at Northwind Computers is amazing and saved us from potentially loosing a couple new clients. We produce food recipe videos for food bloggers and grocery stores all over the US. We had an issue with our computer and had a couple of projects due the next day. Druu stayed past his closing time to help us. He tried a few different ways to fix our issues, and would not give up until he found a remedy. His fee was extremely reasonable. He went way beyond what most businesses would do, and again, it was closing time when we phoned in to see if he could help. Druu did not leave until the job was done. Bonus for us...when we walked out of the business, he noticed a rubber piece hanging from the bumper of our car. Druu got on the ground and put the rubber piece back in place. I left my Asus laptop at this computer store because I needed some help fixing what I'd describe as a 'hinge issue'. In addition to them holding my laptop until I was able to pick it up, I also entrusted them with my small ' Pirate Chest Box' that included some prized possessions of mine...Various cords, vaporizor (E-Cig componants), a bottle of lotion, a bottle of lubricant, as well as some other small 'knick-knacks'...All in all, if I could rate Northwind with 6 STARS, I would. They held my possessions for over 6 months, as I had an abrupt change in living circumstances and had relocated to Los Angeles. Thank you Team NorthWind! Northwind Computers may just employ the coolest computer repair folks in the Treasure Valley. Each one was helpful, informative, skillful and maybe most important, fun to work with. They totally bought my story about my computer committing suicide or maybe they didn't but in any case, chose not to mock me for it. They gave me an accurate estimate of cost and time and completed the work actually before I expected it. Before I contacted Northtwind, I tried another company on a friends recommendation which was a complete disappointment as they promised what they could not deliver. Not so Northwind. Customer service is a lost art but these guys have it nailed. Highly recommended.

Last year they replaced my laptop display and did a great job. This year I went back when I was getting mysterious crashes that seemed to indicate a failed CD/ROM drive. Cody recommended that rather than spend a lot of time tracking down the problem, he reinstall Windows. He saved all my data. I did need to reinstall some applications. But whenever I had a problem or a question, he used remote logon software to instantly fix the problem. He knew a lot about my Mozilla apps and where they store the data. And he tracked down every little thing that wasn't exactly right - all part of a very reasonable flat fee. It did turn out I needed a new CD/ROM, which Cody ordered. I was impressed to watch him open my Toshiba Portege quickly and easily to put in the new drive. Just opening this model is not common knowledge, but he obviously has a lot of hardware and software experience. I would go to Northwind for any computer problem and would recommend them to any individual or business. They are often out at their customers' sites and seem to be very busy, but they made me feel as important as any corporate client.

I don't typically write reviews but the gentleman at Northwind went above and beyond to satisfy my needs and do a top notch professional job. They inherited an absolute mess from two previous network installers for a wifi network needing to cover an entire city block. They took the mess and not only was the result absolute perfection in my eyes but they did it at a better cost than anyone else even quoted me. Without a doubt they will be my number 1 source for all things technology related for my small business. I especially wanted to recognize the employee Druu who I had spent a great deal of time with on the job. His attention to detail, hard working nature, and commitment to doing the absolute best job he could really stood out. It's employees like Druu that make a company like Northwind the best in town.

Northwind has repaired several personal computer problems for my family over the years and installed our old computer's files to our new computer. The firewalls they installed on our new computer have been spot on --no hacks to report. I highly recommend David and his computer geeks.

My computer notified me of limited hard drive space which I thought was in error. I wasn't sure where to take my computer to have it fixed. I walked out of the Co-op and noticed Northwind Computers just across the street. Went home and did a little research to see what people were saying and decided to use them. I was not disappointed! My computer was fixed and back in my hands within a couple of hours! Turns out my antivirus software was backing my files up on my hard drive overloading the system. They removed the duplicate files and installed new antivirus software. I couldn't be happier!
