They were extremely rude to my mother. When we went there we were trying to discuss possible student discounts and the man we were working with refused to even talk about it. He recommended that we go to the store in the mall instead. We went there and got excellent service.

Friendly staff and very competitive pricing. I have had multiple transactions with the MacLife store and everyone have been exceptional. For example: I went in to have my ram upgraded. They were able to do it right away with extremely friendly service and great pricing. I was in and out in no time at all, what a great experience I highly recommend.

I would much rather just got to the apple store in the mall. You think it is an apple store...but they are not. Much easier just to head to the mall.

If you are looking for a repair these guys will over charge you. There is a guy on Craigslist that did it for half the price. If you are looking to buy a Mac or Apple software this is a good place to go.

I've been using Maclife since 2008 and highly recommend them. They always have time the second I walk in the door to answer any question or concern I have. Their repair service has been prompt, courteous and accurate. Most recently I had a disk drive cable fail on my Macbook (seems to be a vulnerable item) and Maclife had it quickly checked out and repaired not long after. They've always had every accessory I've needed and have taken the time to patiently walk me through any questions or issues. It's a low pressure environment and why I enjoy going there.

Excellent service and we found a fantastic deal on a good, used MacBook Pro which was half the price of a brand new one since my Mac suffered from the white screen of death. YES!! Now, I can get back to work.

Apple had a service announcement regarding failure of the 3 terabit hard-drives, of which my computer was one. They contracted with MacLife out of Boise who sent a technician named "Russel" up to replace the drive. When I quested him about losing my data he informed me that I shouldn't have any concerns as I have "Time Machine" with automatic back-up to an external hard-drive. Upon completion of the installation he told me that he had started the back-up process and due to the size of the data it would take "4-6 hours to complete." I had errands to run and when I came home before my softball game at 6:45 pm the computer said there was still (paraphrased) "1 hour and 20 minutes to completion." When I can back from the game at 9:20 pm the "back up" had finished and there was NO data backed up and my computer was basically a clean boot as seen with brand new computers!! A phone call to MacLife in Boise lead me to the owner "Eric" who said there must have been an "error" on the back-up and, most importantly, that their contract with Apple only states "that we replace the hard drive and we are not responsible for data recovery." Classless act, which doesn't surprise me considering they represent Apple, who has become an arrogant anti-customer service corporation. Well Eric, you are a unethical and immoral individual who hides behind the "black & white" of contracts versus standing up and doing the right thing. I feel sorry for your family!

There is no words to describe how thankful I am to the technicians at the MacLife on Overland. Thank you for helping me keep up with my Apple products. No matter what my problem is, I walk through the door, someone will greet me with a smile and then a friendly and knowledgeable person will come out and help me smile again by fixing my computer, or what ever I had an issue with. They were fast and experienced people that make you feel like you were worth their time. I had had a problem with my battery and had gone to my local people and they said that it would Cost around $800 to fix. I then came here and they simply unplugged the battery and then plugged it back in and it worked perfectly. And the best part is it did not cost a dime. They are the best around and I will recommend them to everyone that has problems with apple products.

It would be my luck that the hard drive to my Mac went bad in the middle of my midterms week for college. The employee there was very nice; gave me his recommendations along with different prices (college student). In the beginning we didn't think we would be able to recover anything, but several phone calls later he told me he could get them back. Here's the greatest part: I needed to turn in an assignment due the next morning and it was on my Mac. Taking a shot at it, I asked the employee if he could email me my assignment, AND HE DID! I am so grateful for this man, he was my savior amongst my hell week. What great customer service.

Replaced the HDD with an SSD and fix a temp sensor on my 2010 imac, and it runs faster than my PC. Great Job. Amazing that I will get another 3-5 years from a computer. Usually they last about 3 years.

Called and talked with them, clearly I must have been talking to the Boise location, as the service guy off Overland was treating me like a was dumb.. I have a legit issue with my laptop and needed it to be fixed.. I had three kids with me which clearly topped him over the edge.. when you work in a customer service related field you should have WAY better people skills!! I would completely recommend NOT going here!! At least go to the Boise location.

I am thoroughly impressed with the store. Especially with the technician named Maxwell. I didn't realize that I could get my Mac repaired at the store. It's far superior to the Apple Store. They're friendly, kind and genuine. At least the Overland store is. I wouldn't say that about the downtown one. Maxwell, you are amazing!
