Took a laptop in with a wifi issue. They offered to open it up and take a quick look. 10 mins later they brought it out, and it was fixed! It was a simple problem, but the alternative was sending it to HP for 10 or so days. Saved me so much time, and awesome service!

Galaxy computers are outrageously overpriced, but smile and act like they are doing you a favor while charging double what you would pay anywhere else. From the moment you place your computer in their hands they will be charging you a diagnostic fee, $35 for a desktop, and $69 for for a laptop, because that is the value of someone unscrewing the back of your computer and blowing a little air to get rid of the dust. Even if you pinpoint your problem when you first walk in the door, plan of paying that fee. I had a fan replaced, and they charged for two hours of labor, as well as $22 for the part. Galaxy computers is a local business that should be avoided.They are not willing to work with you, are more than happy to take your money. If you decide to get your computer fixed, call around to the different local computer stores and get quotes, this will save you a lot of time, money, and distress.

In need of PC repair, I decided to call around first and whomever was the nicest on the phone is where I would go. Everett, at Galaxy Computers, answered the phone and was most helpful and patient in answering my questions. I took it in and then got it back in a timely fashion at the price they'd quoted me. No surprises. Everett has excellent customer service skills and knowledge, and even gave me a follow-up phone call several days later to make sure everything was running OK.

Yes, I realize I am a competitor (now), but the entire reason I decided to work on macs is because of an experience with Galaxy. I took a g5 in for service. 9 days later, they still hadn't figured out the problem. Add to that I was charged way more than promised for the diagnosis when I picked up the still non-functional machine. Another note: notice that 2 other positive reviews are by the same person (sentence structure, grammar, punctuation -- especially the triple exclamation points). I'm assuming they were written by the owner or an employee.

I went in to see if I could get an idea of a repair on my computer and possibly buy a used pc laptop ---The Customer service was HORRIBLE The man that helped me was so rude --I asked about the laptops they had to sell, he pointed and said they are over there--I said I don't know much about them, which one would be good for school and is there microsoft office on them. He totally ignored me and was incredible rude --DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I would never walk in there or send anyone there ever. So incredibly rude --I guess they didn't want my business!!!!

I took my lap top to Galaxy Computers on November 11, 2017. On November 13th I stopped by and was told they were doing last minute checks and would call me later in the when it was ready. Today, November 16th, I stopped by today and was told "they were doing last minute checks and would call me later today when it was ready". Never received a call discussing the problem with my computer and potential costs. Never called to up date me. Five days and I'm clueless what the problem is and when I will see it. Next time I will go to Office Max and I encourage you to do the same.

My girlfriend has been going to Galaxy Computers for years. She said they were great. I needed a new computer and decided to give them a try. I ended up getting a computer from them. I have enjoyed my new computer and they were the best. The staff was great and the service was excellent. I would do business with them again. Had a major problem with a virus on my computer. Galaxy had it for about a week and so far it seems to operate flawlessly. I thought the cost was reasonable and the business called me for a follow up to see how things were. So far I'm very satisfied.

I brought in 2 macbook airs to swap the screen. They gentleman said they would switch out the track pads too (because one is cracked) I explained how it worked fine and I just wanted the screens. He said it would be extra minutes to switch them. They had my laptops for almost a month had to order an extra cable and then the finished product has a working screen, a track pad that freaks out and does not work properly and no sound. To top this off I called within their 30 day window a couple times their response adjust the mouse speed and restart.

I'm new to town and had been lugging around a dying computer for quite sometime now. My knowledge on computers is well below average. Being interested in utilizing just the basic functions of a laptop along with adding a little extra juice for movie making, I sought out Galaxy Computers. Initially I wanted to go down the MAC road, but the technicians explained to me that I could get a much more practical and faster PC laptop than a MAC for way less money. They put in a search for what I was looking for and found a good match in a Dell. After talking over the specs of this computer (they were ableto dumb everything down to my level) they decided to do a further inquiry on something even better in the same price range. They did, and I went home a week later satisfied that I made the right decision to go to Galaxy Computers. Thanks guys!

Well, the gentleman working there was very nice so that was definitely a plus. I didn't feel pressured at any point and the price was very reasonable. However, I took my computer in because I wanted to wipe it so I could sell it. He told me once I got it back I would have windows 10 and still include word, power point, and excel. When I got the computer back I made the mistake of not turning it on to check if everything was working right. Now a few weeks later I turn it on and the computer had in fact been wiped, but it still has windows 7 and no word, power point, or excel. Needless to say I am disappointed.

Leslie, Josh and Kimball are very helpful as well. I manage a hotel with a restaurant and Galaxy Computers helped us to where we are now, technologically up to speed. I highly recommend them not only for business, but home computer use as well.

So here’s the deal. I have made fun of geeks all my life but here at Galaxy computers are the most awesome computer geeks I have ever met in my life. The price was right, the service was great, everything about this place was awesome. When I finally went to get my computer they were fast and friendly to talk to. We laughed and joked for like 15 minutes in the store they were awesome. Also they gave me weekly sometimes twice a week phone calls to make sure I knew what was up with my computer. I am a hard guy to get a hold of and they did not give up. When I picked up my computer Everett is the guy that showed me everything he did unlike the last computer store I went to that broke it in the first place. I cannot remember the lady‘s name that was there when I picked up my computer she’s going to beat me next time I take something into her but her and Everett are awesome.I don’t think I will ever make fun of geeks again best place ever to go get a computer fixed. Good job guys!!!

All I needed was new ends put on a network cable. They did the service and charged me $30. I went to another local store and bought a set of crimpers and 2 RJ-45s for $20. I started doing my own cables in a matter of minutes. Do not support this business!

Brought my laptop and my desktop computers to them. My laptop wouldn't turn on at all and my desktop was rebooting every 15 minutes, with and without being used. These guys were great and they fixed both of them up quickly and with a reasonable price. They told me exactly what was wrong with my systems and were able to fix them up within two days. I highly recommend these guys for your computer problems!

Glad to know weekends are more important than customer service. "Sorry we can't do anything cause we close in 10 minutes." Seriously? I called ahead of time and asked if they could stay open until 2:30 because my boyfriend taken our car to work. They said no I had to get there by 2, and they had the part on hand if I got there by 2. I asked my brother for ride over, and got there at 1:45, then waited in line. The lady who "helped" me said they couldn't do anything since they closed in 10 minutes. Even though they had the part on hand. I had a 12 hour work project due Monday and couldn't find a single place in town that had the part. I even asked the woman if she could send the part to another store and they could fix if she didn't want to stay open. She refused. She was rude, and impolite and had no empathy what so ever. The guy I talked on the phone was a piece of work too. I don't care how good you are at fixing computers, you should treat your customers with the upmost respect.
