GameStop is a complete rip-off. It's no surprise they are going out of business at many locations because they take their new older games, remove the packaging and put them back on the shelf for $5 more. Everything in the store is 3 to $12 over eBay or Amazon pricing. On average, you could buy three get one free at this pricing, just by ordering online instead. Stop buying from this store and help them go out of business.

So this location already had a 5 star review from me because its always been a pleasure to go to. Staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. But my original 5 star review was well over a year ago. I now have such admiration for the staff here that if i could only give them a 10 star review i would. I've become friends with most of the staff here. Big Josh, John, Robin, all amazing people who go above and beyond to meet your needs. And recently, Robin worked tirelessly to make sure i was happy, and i can't say enough how grateful I am to her, and how much true admiration i have for her willingness and dedication to customer service. I'm a huge borderlands fan. and so naturally when BL3 finally had a release date i really wanted to get the Collectors Edition. This would be my first collectors edition ever. But they went like lightning and i missed out. About a month or two later i received a call from them stating that it sounded like they were getting a few more collector's edition and that i should come into the store the next morning at a specific time to get one preordered and solidified. So i did just that, at that specific time the next morning, and unfortunately they didn't get as many c.e.'s that they thought they were supposed to, and a woman in front of my had been waiting there since opening and nabbed them up. I was super upset. it didn't help that i was also sick at the time, but i missed out, AGAIN. I was frustrated because I did exactly what i was told and still didn't get to purchase one. Robin and Josh assured me tho that if anybody cancelled a preorder that they would let me know, since I had already missed out twice. Well another store in Idaho had an additional one, because its a small town and not all of their BL3 C.E.'s got purchased, but it was part of a second wave of c.e.'s that i wouldn't receive til Oct., and Robin let me know and i was able to pre order one through that location, finally. But the catch was that it was at an entirely different location that isn't close to where i live. And since it was at another location i couldn't pay for it at my local Gamestop. So what Robin had to do was call that location and get a hold of them, have me purchase a gift card, and then relay my account info and gift card info to that location over the phone. and she did this multiple times. AND, the only way I was going to get the C.E. was by having somebody who lived near the other location delivering it to my local store. They drive to my local store to work apparently. The fact that Robin even considered this as a possible solution to meet my needs and to keep me as a customer happy is just incredible to me.. When i went to finalize my receipt today for the night release Robin informed me that my collector's edition was in fact there already and i wouldn't have to wait til October. I WAS SMITTIN'! She worked absolute miracles for me with this whole situation to tried and resolve and make up for something that was no where NEAR her fault in the first place. Throughout all of this she made me feel like i was truly a valued customer and i have never felt that in this way from ANY other store. Between her and Josh, the level of commitment they have to customer service is unmatched. They don't treat you like another number, or another annoying customer, they treat you with dignity and respect and i could never say enough good things about the service i have received at this location. i know i'm making them sound like hero's, and at the end of the day this was all over a video game essentially, but you don't see customer service like this often anymore, and so when you do come by it, i feel like it should be recognized and praised. Because they dont have to go above and beyond, they can do the minimum and move you out as quick as possible, but they CHOOSE to. I know Gamestop sometimes gets a bad rep and gets meme'd on, but the people that work here are special people and treat you like friends and family. i can't say enough good things about my experience here. Theyre truly the best

When I first stopped into this Gamestop I bought myself a brand new copy of Borderlands, the lady got me started (after taking my information) with a powerup rewards card and informed me I had acquired points from the Borderlands purchase, later that day I tried to log into my powerup account and was let down as an account with my information had not even been created, none the less even a power up card was provided to me. I then went in yesterday and tried purchasing Destiny, the man told me it was $50 and two employees just stated they sold it for $50, rung up the game, it was $60, I said okay I'll trade in my brand new borderlands for $15 towards Destiny, low and behold he did not even offer me the full $15 for borderlands because it was purchased brand new, and to top it off he wouldn't even refund me the point rewards from my Borderlands purchase due to employees lack of knowledge. Horrible customer service, horrible way to treat a customer who had more than enough cash to pay for everything but was rather played with as the employee dug himself a hole he couldn't get out of. Never will I step into this gamestop again, treat your customers right and be respectful instead of accusing me of buying a game used and trying to return it for full value when the receipt says purchased new, thank you Gamestop for one of the worst customer service experiences I've been in, this beats McDonald's!

I was next door with my buddy, who was getting a haircut and he decided that he wanted to stop in and look around. The store had been open for about an hour but immediately upon walking it was clear we werent welcome. We were just browsing when the girl asked us if we needed help finding anything and when we let her know we were "just looking around" we were met with a scoff and eye roll. She then went into the backroom and came back out telling us that she needed to take trash out and that we cannot be in the store. I understand that there are policies in place to prevent theft, but i just think this was not the time, especially considering her extremely rude attitude from the moment of entering the store. We left without a word and definitely will not be returning to this Gamestop location

It's pointless to argue

Bought a game, don't like the game , wasnt happy at all with their supposed return policy. Customer service was good and of course the games are pretty much the same anywhere you go. I can't recommend at this time.

My kids used to like this store, but- the staff isn't as nice anymore. They'll tell you that they'll look for something, and then completely forget that you're even there, and they're pretty dismissive when you remind 'em. This has happened TWICE to me, and a few times now to my oldest son...pretty rude. It's not like this is a huge store or anything- how do you just forget someone who's literally 10 feet away? We're not what you'd call demanding people...after waiting 20+ minutes, we walked out, and haven't returned. Also, their used games are rather overpriced. We regret having joined the Power Up Rewards thing- total waste of money. We'll only buy stuff here if we can't find it elsewhere- and frankly, with VIP Games just down the street, and Amazon Prime? We just don't need to darken their doorway.

I have always had really good experiences at this gamestop. I bought my PS4 there, I bought a few games there (used), and I am planning on buying a vita there.. Everything I purchased, even used, was in good working order, and I never had a problem. They even have a 7 day, no questions asked, return policy.. I don't trade games, and I guess that is why gamestop has such a bad rap, but for me, when I buy games it is nice to be able to talk to someone who has personally played them and will give me their honest opinion. Don't be afraid to ask questions, everyone there is very nice and willing to take time to chat with you.

Overall, the store is fine and most of the staff members are friendly. I spoke with a representative there named Sean/Shawn who mentioned that he'd put a 1-year warranty on the game that I purchased without informing me that there was any cost to this. My only complaint is that this employee essentially tricked me into spending money on something I would not have purchased had I known it costed money. When returning the game, I was unable to acquire any compensation for this and one of the employees I spoke with informed me that they were aware that this employee treated customers this way. I have nothing against the store or the other employees but this treatment was disappointing.

I got a game from them a year ago and when I sold it back they told me it was broken. I also wanted to get a pre owned game, I even checked their store and they had it. But when I got there they did not have it. If you want bad derive this is the place for you :)

Partially my fault for not checking first but went to get a memory card to save a gamecube game on my wii, and they sold me the sd card thing, told me it work without issues, and I get home and it doesn't function for that use. Look it up online and it indeed doesn't function like that. Generally pretty content with gamestop but don't tell people things will work if you're not. Absolutely 100% sure that they will. Makes for a lot of needless driving back and forth for me. Kinda annoying.

Sold A PS4 game as "New" already been unwrapped and some pamphlets missing from the game and when I try and return it in same condition they say I cant return it because it was sold as a Display copy and had to be opened so it would not be stolen and had to be returned sealed, a state that it was not even sold in. All in All sold a game that could not be returned under their own policy due to the condition they sold it in.

Great store and staff. I just wish that their products weren't so overpriced. For example, a switch case that you can get off Walmart's website w/2 day shipping is $2-7 cheaper than to get it at GameStop. But, if you're looking to get a used game or to trade in your stuff, then this is a great place to do that.

Not sure if John is your manager, but he seems like he is because the guy is more patient than a monk. As soon as I walked in I witnessed about a 10 minute phone conversation he was having with a miserable person that seemed like a complete and total jerk. He calmly and cordially professional with the guy and did everything beyond to the book. I happily waited at the register to buy a Pokemon go gotcha that I called about earlier. Glad you guys had one! He is also the one I spoke with about it being available at your store. He's an amazing employee!

GameStop is a good store lots of selection prices are very fair. They are always helpful when we come in answering questions previewing some games great folks to talk with. What really helps is the return guarantee of 7 days or such if you have issues they have a good return policy should you encounter an issue with your game.

I usually try to avoid buying games retail, but GameStop is nice for pre orders, knowledgeable staff and an impressive inventory of used titles to pick from. Pricing tends to vary pretty wildly on used stuff, but sometimes you can find a screaming deal. If you are trying to buy games for a gamer in your life, but don't know Forza from Final Fantasy this is the perfect place to get help picking a title they may actually enjoy.

My three sons are all gamers and this is the place we go for their gaming stuff. They are a little more expensive then your big box discount stores but usually have good deals. The gentlemen that is always there, Big Josh? Big something or the other is a real help. He goes above and beyond to help and answer any questions. He's very knowledgeable and friendly. Minus one star because they charge more then they need to on their stuff and I hate buying something there only to find it$20-30 cheaper down the street.

Manager Jessica is a self-centered, uneducated, and to be frank a b****... All i wanted to do today is buy a controller and redeem some of my reward points but i was told that i am not a customer and the cops would be called what a load of horse crap. I guess when you spend a few hundred dollars a month on games you are not considered a customer. guess i will find a new place to spend my money and time for this place will not receive anymore of my money i hope that sam reads this and sees how his staff treats people when he is not at work
