After an issue with another Apple store, came in and had my issue rectified without too much of an issue. In and out in about a half hour, would definitely recommend this store as the Apple to go to for products and services. Mahalo to Kevin for making my transition seamless and Lea for checking in on me periodically throughout the interaction.

The system for being seen is flawed. You have to awkwardly find someone to help you check out. There's no organized system to be seen. I had to stand next to someone until they were done taking, which then the employee said she'd be with me in a moment and walked off. Two people who walked in after me were assisted before me. So i walked to a different employee to be checked out. Apple just needs to get a more organized/fluid service system implemented, like the classic, taking a number. Employees were friendly...

Staff hangs out in their own little clusters and chats while ignoring customers. If you get one to actually talk to you, they just suggest you direct your question to the website. Why do they need a dozen employees walking the floor if the only thing they are trained to do is tell you to go to the website? I didn't come to a brick and mortar store to go to a website, I could do that from home.

Free classes for their products even if you don't yet own them yet. Friendly staff and trainers. Go online and book yourself a class. Each trainer teaches each class differently and focus on different aspects of the products. The store has ample displays and the staff will answer questions you may have. No pressure a great place to hang out.

The Genius Bar staff were great and fixed my laptop in 2 min for no fee. I was so relieved. This is why I am a loyal Apple user--the customer service is always exceptional!

I recently had my MBP sent to the mainland from the ala moana store and it returned with a new issue (nothing particularly major, but they do seem extremely busy and more inclined to just send products away rather than repair on site). The staff at Kahala were great, got looked after before my appointment time, and Greg fixed the issue for me right away and was fantastic.
