Pretty disappointing. Walked in and to an unoccupied employee to ask for help and was directed to a different employee already assisting someone. Fine. I walked over to the tablets I intended to buy and waited for someone else to help. I waited for an hour before anyone approached me, they took my name and walked away without a word beyond that so I left after waiting another 20 minutes. Left without purchasing anything and am very irritated with the experience as half of the employees were standing around not engaged in any task.

They get your item and do the repair job pretty fast. However, when picking up your items it's not so fast. Employees like to talk and laugh while coming in and out of the back of the store. Wish they would stop talking to each other about random things and give people who are waiting patiently their items.

made an appointment. waited in the store for half an hour until someone told me the battery is out of stock. then they asked me to wait for 3-5 days until someone give me a call to replace my battery. waited 8 days and nobody ever called. Made an appointment to get the battery changed. Got there 5 min early, there is no genius bar counter or greeter or anything to tell you where to go. After finding a person still 15 minutes to see someone and then he just walked away and helped someone else for 20 minutes before finally taking my phone for repair. Which then took 2 hours for a simple battery replacement.

Bought an i8, it stop working after a month (no physical damage), take to the store n ridiculous waiting time... have an appointment u still have to wait another 30mins for some one to help and get no solution cause they have to mail the phone for repairs 3-5 business days... worthless warranty.

I went to the Apple store at 10 am this morning. They told me it was going to take me an hour to take to a tech specialist. I walked around the mall and came back where I told someone about my problem with my home button. The gentleman said he would see if they could fix the screw however if they couldn’t it would be $60. I agreed to it and came back within the next hour. When I came back I spoke with a guy holding the iPad and asked if my phone was ready. He told me it wasn’t and that I would have to “be proactive” and keep asking those working if it was ready. I sat around and asked again. The lady said my phone had been looked at for a while and they weren’t able to repair it at all and I needed to replace it with a brand new phone. Overall my customer service at Apple was below par. Those that I encountered weren’t welcoming and I felt like Apple was jus trying to soak up every amount of money from me that they could. When my phone was returned to me finally the home button was fixed. Thankfully I didn’t buy a new one. Go to other phone restore spots.

I want to say, up front, that my phone is now fixed and nothing was lost. The Apple store at Perimeter Mall did not fix this, however, and instead tried to sell me something new. I'm leaving this review so that anyone else who may have a similar situation knows that Apple, or at least the one at Perimeter mall, isn't the place to find a solution. My iPhone stopped charging suddenly. I mean, in less than a day it went from charging to being unable to charge anything. I tried every troubleshooting thing I could find online before taking it in to be looked at, but nothing I could find worked. Most guides advised that this issue is usually one of three things: dirty charge port, charge port needs to be replaced, or battery needs to be replaced. Bringing my phone into the Apple store in Perimeter Mall, I thought they might be able to find the issue, since it didn't seem to be a dirty charge port. After connecting the phone to some things and running diagnostics, the representative who was helping me told me that the phone was unfixable. I asked about replacing the battery or the charge port, and they said that it was a hard drive issue, and none of that would work. Instead of looking into it further, they offered to trade my phone in and buy a new one at around $300. I was devastated. I (and this is completely my fault) had not backed up three years worth of photos or documents. I had just returned home from my 8th anniversary where I had taken hundreds of photos (348, if anyone cares), and my phone had died before I had time to realize that it wasn't charging anymore. I told the representative this information up front, knowing that some people will go the extra mile, even if they know it probably won't pan out. I've worked in customer service for over 15 years, I know that even when the chances are slim, trying to do everything possible is still very much appreciated. Instead, as I said, the representative said it was unfixable and offered to sale me the same model if I traded my phone in. THIS IS A HUGE RED FLAG. Why would I trade my phone in if it was unfixable? I looked around for someone else in the area who could possible fix my phone, and I found Batteries + Bulbs, which appears to be a decent sized chain. They echoed the info I had seen online, that the issue was either a dirty charge port, a bad charge port, or the battery needed to be replaced. They mailed my phone off to their repair place, and low and behold it was a bad charge port. They fixed it for about $100, and now my phone works just like new. I didn't have to buy a new phone, and I didn't have to loose any of my anniversary photos. The only good thing I have to say about this Apple store is that they didn't charge me money to tell me that they couldn't fix my phone. If I could leave half a star I would.

As an AT&T customer, thought it might be better to go to AT&T to upgrade my iPhone. They didn't have the newest iPhones in stock and wanted to order it so I went to Apple. Apple had exactly what I wanted in stock and set me up quickly. Their insurance plan was better than AT&T and they gave me more money for trade-in on my old iPhone than AT&T. Now I will always come to the Apple store to do my phone business instead of AT&T.

Today I went to buy a new phone and ask if I could put my old phone in for service earlier than I had booked. I was someone would help me with buying the phone, but had to join another line about getting the old phone for service. I joined the second line and repeated my request and was told there was a 20 minute wait. I was able to buy the new phone a lot sooner than 20 minutes, which was a nice surprise. However, after waiting more than 30 minutes, I asked when I might be able to get help with my old phone. The shop assistant told me I never asked them about the old phone (false, I have a recording of the request). I was then told that it was not possible to get the phone serviced today (which is not what I was requesting). I will never go to this shop ever again. They clearly don't like helping customers. They tell customers they lied. There are other businesses that want to help. This business clearly does not.

I have been to here many times, not sure why the low stars. Yes, you must make an appointment prior to arriving and in some cases days ahead. Not a big issue to me. Customer service here stinks!! J.LeVar Bryan just kept repeating bs and refused to give me his managers contact info. Told me to look online for it! As a 10 yr customer w a wife and 3 kids all using their products, they expected me to rebuy a new phone that has broken hardware that they said had nothing to do w me!! Their inferior phone was the problem but they do not stand behind it since the phone was 3 months out of warranty!!! Such a lg company but not standing behind their product. Thanks DAVID for all your knowledgeable information and great friendly service and JEREMY thanks just work on your delivery it could be friendlier. Although it is a long wait about an hour and a half it’s worth it when the service is good and you get what you needed. I didn’t get my task fully accomplished so I didn’t give them five stars. I didn’t have the desired information to get my phone activated/unlocked and I wasn’t given a solution to fix my problem without going having to make a lot of calls and trips to other stores. But that’s my fault for not having all my information. Seating was good and use your time to shop or enjoy the Apple Store items. I didn’t see an Apple store sign but you will know it’s Apple because it’s the big bright full of people store on the top level.

Well went here to pickup a Apple Watch I purchased on the Apple Store app. When I walked in the door I was not helped until standing for about 10 mins. Eventually someone asked me did I need help which was great, for my watch and was on the way out until they informed me they had run out of bags. So now I'm wondering around the mall with Apple Watch in hand. I liked my service, just not the part about the bag.

Terrible experience. Order iPhone online and went to store for pickup. They were not ready to give the phone since my Driver license is not sufficient and need my passport. They don’t have a option to convert to delivery. Very disappointed and cancelled the order. Store associates don’t bother and no concern of loosing a customer. When they are having more profit they don’t bother about loosing few customers. They must be very clear on what are the documents needed for store pickup. They should not make up there own rule when the customer is at store. Stupid service. Lost interest in apple products. Giving one star since it doesn’t allow me to select 0.

Went to get a battery replacement, waited forever for someone to acknowledge me after the door person sent me to a counter for my scheduled appt. I had disabled the security on my phone, no passcode and turned off touch. After the battery replacement I couldn't re-enable touch. Suggestions were to reset phone, so a couple months later I finally get all my stuff duplicated (google auth etc...)..reset phone and of course...can't enable touch. Thanks for effing up my phone apple hacks, you would probably want $1K to fix it. F Apple, back to android.

Place is too packed for its own good. Every time I go here for help with something, even with an appointment - it takes forever to get anything done. You're usually directed to go sit on those stupid uncomfortable stools, or asked to go talk to "X or Y genius over there". You then spend the next 30 minutes standing right next to the "genius" who is obviously too busy helping the usual mall windowshoppers just trying to kill time. When it's no longer possible for the genius to just altogether avoid your glare, you will finally get help.

I always heard rave reviews about Apple stores. I made an appointment last Friday (5/18) for today 5/21 at 11.20am. My Ipad sort of bit the dust and I needed to find out whether it could be fixed or whether I needed to purchase a new one. At 11.10am I was checked in for my appointment. I was told that they could not see me earlier, even though there seemed to be lots of green t-shirted individuals lollygagging around. At 11.20am I checked myself in again and was told to wait in this one area. I did and still no one called my name. I saw folks arriving and immediately getting help and again lots of "experts" walking around with and looking at Ipads and Iphones. At 11.45 I had enough and told the greeter guy that I was leaving and that I was not a happy camper. The whole place seems to be run by a bunch of teenagers who have no idea about customer service. My experience today was a total dud and if there was a negative rating I would give a minus 5 to this store.

I was hesitant about going to this particular Apple store due to the many bad reviews, BUT it wasn’t a bad experience at all! I went in to get my iPhone 7 screen replaced & it only took 90 minutes! Once I got the phone back it worked perfectly. Customer service was awesome. Sometimes you can’t trust reviews, just go see for yourself!

From NY. used to Apple being the service king. truthfully, used to just being serviced as a customer. These guys lost my 4000 dollar laptop. my first ever big purchase. then proceeded to tell me they found it in the back and wasn't checked in. even though it was signed for. fast forward 5 days later after Apple got involved. Apple corporate sent me a new one and the store was to get me some wires to finalize everything. guess what. they didn't give, find, or assist in helping the transaction. Honestly, if someone would have paid my flight to go back to NY. I would have. I hear the surrounding locations are better. this one might as well be one of those Times Square pop up stores with all the glass and mirrors and fake cameras for sale because they're just there to ruin your day and take up your time. dont ever forget. this may have never happened to you, maybe you love this place but, it'll take that one time where they slip harder than a cop on a diet at a Krispy Kreme.

This Apple store inside Perimeter Mall always seems to crowded with lots of folks (customers and employees) buzzing around. I recall a few years ago when this Apple store was much smaller, along the size of a small retail storefront. It was just as packed and thankfully Apple recognized the need to increase the size. The staff at this location are knowledgeable, friendly and mostly professional. Apple does a good job of training their staff and keeping moral high. I have not experienced any issues on any of my visits to this location. In most instances this Apple store has more available Genius appointments than the Lenox & Cumberland locations.

Salespersons are fatigued standing with no chairs for Apple employees. Apple should change its decor and add more chairs. Employees are tired and less friendly and not really interactive. Avoid the store on weekends. Customers have to stand also if they have an appointment as the few chairs they have for customers are always taken when I visit. Prices are not listed clearly and you have to pick up every item to see prices. Store had dust on devices especially around the shelves. The absent prices is on Apple corporate not this store thou. Some prices are missing on third party products. There were also no discounts for black Friday. Seriously Apple :/

Service was just terrible! I changed my brand new phone screen at this store and after two days my phone does not work. I came back to the store with the hope that they will do their work properly, but the lady told me that they can not help me and offer me to buy a new phone. It is just incomprehensible! I already bought a new phone for myself, I paid money for that and I was happy with my phone until I brought it to this store! I went to another apple store and they gave me a new phone in 15 minutes! Absolutely not happy with service in this store! We've had two recent trips to this store to repair an iphone X screen and powerbeats. Both experiences were great. The staff was friendly and helpful and solved both problems. The manager stepped in and solved a problem that the Lenox store refused to look at.

HORRILE!! Go to Lenox for the best customer service! 1. Quoted incorrect price. 2. Wasn’t notified of price change. $40 more! 3. Rep didn’t follow protocol to in ref to SIM card at check in. 4. Rep spoke to me as if I was lying about SIM card at pick up. 5. Headed to my carrier to spend additional monies due to protocol not followed. Do NOT come to this location . They try to rip you off and make you pay the most money possible for repairs . I had a problem with my MacBook Air and the employees here claimed it was a failed battery and I needed to pay $200 to get it fixed . I took my computer to another location and magically, the issue was fixed for free . I tried coming here one more time and I had a similar issue and they claimed the issue was gonna be fixed for $475!! Again, I took it to another location and got the problem fixed for free . With other locations in the metro Atlanta area, I will not come back here . If you want your problems fixed (not by spending ridiculous amounts of money), I recommend SimplyMac or Apple Avalon.

One of the many great stores of Apple that I love hanging around for quick tutorials and even photography classes. I’m a long time user of Apple products, but recently hearing that they are lagging behind other brands and manufacturers... and even other ‘die-hard’ Apple users are talking about switching to PC - which does not bode well for the future of Apple. The few occasions I have had to use the Apple service/stores, I have had very prompt and pleasant results. My MacBook laptops have outlasted my PC laptops by a considerable margin.

My iPhone died out of the blue. I was a walkin on Saturday morning. I was seen in a reasonable amount of time and Louie was beyond helpful. He called my service provider and handled everything in regards to setting up my replacement iPhone. I would highly recommend this location for any of your apple needs. Top Notch Customer Service.

Horrible customer service. iPhoneX has a glitch in the touch module that they state they will repair for free but they refused to fix phone saying it had water damage when the phone had never been submerged in water or subjected to hot and steamy conditions and is supposed to be waterproof. Will be selling all my Apple products after dealing with them wasting 2 hours of my time to not even fix it.

Absolute OPPOSITE of customer service. DECEPTIVE. UNHELPFUL. Complete FAIL. I need a battery replacement, so I called support. They ran diagnostics on the phone and CONFIRMED my battery needs replacement (thanks, Apple, the 20 min battery life wasn't enough to tell me that). Instructed me to make an appointment at the Genius Bar. Exactly ZERO appointments available for the next week. Must wait a day and try for an appointment one week out b/c they only schedule 7 days in advance. FINE, appointment made for 1 WEEK LATER. 1 week later, I leave work early, drive through rush hour traffic across town and show up for my appointment. Genius Bar employees (who was nice, not his fault) informs me that they will now proceed to ORDER A BATTERY REPLACEMENT for me that WON'T ARRIVE FOR 2-3 WEEKS. Apple, WHY WOULD YOU NOT JUST ORDER THE BATTERY REPLACEMENT FOR ME WHEN YOU ARE TALKING TO ME ON THE PHONE AND YOU CONFIRM THE BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED???? Why would you force someone to drop everything and drive across town JUST TO ORDER THE BATTERY? There was absolutely NO NEED for me to drop everything and go to your store. NONE. This is the EXACT DEFINITION of HOW TO LOSE CUSTOMERS. I assume you're so big you don't care anymore. That's fine, just doing my duty to let everyone else know.

This store is a bit bright and chaotic but they are amply staffed with attentive people. Recently I brought a MacBook Pro in for repair which was diagnosed at the store with a faulty hard drive cable. Brought it in on a Friday, it was ready by Monday- about $100. Not sure if this kind of speed is the norm, I know you never know, but I was grateful. The 5 stars are primarily for Sterling, a patient and intelligent technician who very kindly helped me understand the nature of my computer’s issue and my options despite my woeful technological illiteracy. I appreciated his mellow and honest disposition and I left my computer with him with the confidence that I knew what what going on and what it would cost. Trustworthy and effective troubleshooters are a bit rare, so thanks Sterling.

Made an appointment to have my screen repaired on a Thursday evening. Even though I had a specified appointment time, I still had to wait 30 minutes for someone to tell me that I would have to come back because they were no longer doing repairs for the day. I’m not sure why I would be able to make an appointment at a time when technicians are not available. I was then told that upon my return, I could just drop my phone off as they already had my part ready. I returned first thing Saturday morning for them to tell me that I should have made an appointment. I then had to wait another 30 minutes before I was able to hand my phone over to someone.... quite ridiculous and a waste of time. I would recommend calling in order to make an appointment to ensure a technician is there. And be prepared to wait. On another note, while I was waiting the first time, a tech was very rude to an older customer who clearly was not tech savvy. He raised his voice several times at the individual and in a patronizing tone, told him if he would just listen to him, he would know what to do. He appeared frustrated that the customer did not remember his Apple ID (something that I’m sure happens all the time). Dissapointing visit.

Apple locations should really work on improving the turn over times for repairing phones. It’s annoying to sit around for three hours to get a cracked phone repaired. We all know it doesn’t take that long to repair a screen. Appointments doesn’t improve your wait time at all. There should be a better method to determine the number of phones accepted to ensure customers aren’t stuck with a long wait time. I love Apple products but the store locations definitely has room for improvement.

Service has gone down tremendously in this store. They literally want you in and out ASAP. They don't want to listen to your device issues or anything you have to say for that matter. They'll tell you what's wrong with your device and when you ask questions as to why, their answer is 'Because that's just the way it is'. Seriously?? What happened to the Customer service in Apple stores from 2+ years ago?? I hate walking in there now, especially this location. Staff is rude. Nobody seems like they want to be there. Service level went completely down the drain. I would rather go to a 3rd party store for Apple products than to walk in here and get treated like garbage. Rep that was helping me literally walked away from me to speak to another rep for a good 5 minutes and then came back. Didn't say excuse me, didn't apologize. They're conversation had zero to do with my issue. After dealing with her, she sent me to the rep in the front to look up a trade in value for my device, also brushed me off. Wanted nothing to do with me. Felt like I was just an inconvenience. Super disappointed with this store and just Apple Stores in general. Review doesn't deserve 1 star.

Few years ago we get our phone Iphone 6 Plus here to repair but they couldn't do it, so they gave us a replacement phone. After many years using the replacement phone, suddenly it locked with ATT network. Apple blames ATT for the network problem, but when you go to ATT, ATT blames Apple back for giving us a phone that wasn't in their database and it wasn't their phone but a Verizon phone.. Me and my dad were stuck in a loop between the two companies, nothing was solve. Both companies were useless and was unable to solve the problem until I refuse to leave and make sure these two talk to each other about this phone. I'm still waiting for my phone to be unlock, otherwise i will come back for another round. I also found the solution for this problem, but the senior applecare was as useless like the rest, they couldn't pull my original phone IMEI up so i could just unlock that then the replacement one will be unlock. They also asked us to pay $300 to get a replacement phone which ridiculous. The damn phone cost $199 bucks at walmart, wake up apple. And the only reason i came here was because i got a promised from apple HQ that i could come here and get different phone, but when i came here they put a different message which result wasted 40 mins drive and half of my dad's work day. It make him extremely upset, because those Apple HQ applecare are liar.

This store customer service is horrible gave me a phone without a SIM card and basically said it was my fault. Spoke with a manager who said they would fedex me a SIM card no charge of course and I can take it to my phone provider to install. I will never do business with this store again.

Customer Service is terrible!!!!This location is super busy. I walked in on my lunch break on a Tuesday and there was a 2 hour wait. I made an appointment to come back on that Sunday. My initial appointment was at 5:50, fighting through Atlanta traffic, it took longer that expected to get to perimeter mall. I tried calling the store directly and of course there was no answer. Finally, 13 mins after my appointment I arrive excited that my screen was getting repaired only to find out that they have a 9 min late policy and refused to make the repairs on the phone. Trying to plea my case and being 3 mins over the late policy ( which I have never heard of) the manager still refused to make the repairs not to mention didn't even ask to re book my appointment. Lack of consideration, customer service, and managerial skills. I will never be a patron at this location ever. Taking my business some where else. They don't care, considering how busy they are, I was an easy NO and just another number!!!! Huge let down!!!! I will NEVER be back. Poor reflection on APPLE!!

The customer service here is horrible. Came in with my sister to see about troubleshooting some issues she was having with a BRAND NEW phone she had purchased from here. We were told that we had to wait 30 mins on some blocks in the at the center of the store and someone would be over shortly. Mind you they ask for your name, number, email blah blah to make sure they can contact you when your “genius” is available. An hour goes by and no one comes so my sister literally has to grab an employee to see why we haven’t been helped. We find out our technician Kimberly has taken it upon herself to cancel our appointment. The tech we did get ahold of was India who at first helped but then left, stating that she would be back. And would you believe that she didn’t come back? So I’m looking around and all I see are employees huddled up, having personal conversations and not actually helping customers. And now you have wasted an hour of our time without fully resolving our issue.

The associate had no idea how to do Apple Upgrade Program and we had to wait for another associate to help him!! (There used to be something called: “employee training”) To entertain my wife while the associate was figuring out how to sell an iPhone, I offered her to play with iPad Pro and its pencil. Guess what? Two of them were off due to battery drain, and two other ones the pencil was out of charge!! For the first time in my apple store experience I wanted to leave ASAP.

The staff at this location are friendly and helpful. The only downside about this store is sometimes after you have checked in you can wait forever before being helped and that is to drop off or pick up devices. I have been on both sides of that coin and chatted while waiting with others there about the problem. Like today I asked the same employee twice when were they going to bring my phone out to me. Both times I got it's on it's way out. 38 minutes from checking in at 3:20 to get it. Mind you that they told me it would be ready at 3pm. I normally wouldn't give a bad review for something so petty but it has happened to me everytime at this store.

Good attention, they have all the apple products, however it's usually a crowded place, usually you have to wait much time, they don't come closer to you until you tell them, almost all the workers there use to be busy with the clients. Very dissapointing service at this store. Certainly not the type of customer experience that this company was built on. I’ll spare all the details but after confirming that my phone stopped working due to an internal error I was told I would need to give them my phone and wait 7 days for a new one. The best compromise I could get was being allowed to drive to another store across town to get a “loaner phone” while I wait for my old broken one to be fixed in a week. Whatever happened to replacing a faulty product with a new one on the spot. I do not recommend this store

Outstanding for what I needed, which was a proof of purchase for an iphone 7 purchased at this location. They listened to my request, technical issues with the AppleID issues, and understand the nuisance of it. I was in and out of there in less than 15 mins and got exactly what I needed which was a copy of receipt for proof of purchase. To top if off AJ w/ Apple Support's higher tier tech support helped me resolve the AppleID issue which was relating to a conflict with another newly created AppleID. Thank you for your help (I think it was the store manager).

UPDATED REVIEW: scheduled a Genius bar appt, and they took my # and sent me a text to confirm. Was told "approx 20 mins". 40 mins later, we checked to see where we were on the list and were told "oh, your appt has been pushed back 45min." I replied "fine, but why didnt you text me to tell me this? You had my number." Apple replied, "do you still want the appt?" Like I have all afternoon to just sit around? Have some respect for my time. ------------------------------------ THIS is how you do retail. High energy, lots of access yo tons of products in an open amd clean, bright enviromment, helpful but not intrusive staff, a place for questions and help. Just expensive considering a lot of these items are nice to haves. But, thats the attraction if Apple..you want it, but dont need it.

Very Disappointed,I dropped off my iPhone XS Max that got from Verizon only had for 2 months,I drop my by accident making a delivery at my job no crack or anything i had my phone in a otterbox defender case and the white guy told me they couldn't swap out my phone for a new one and they will have to fix if it's any damage then they will replace it for free,I wasted an hour and twenty minutes yesterday and i could have went to Verizon Wireless worst Apple store ever I am not happy at all.
