I’ve been a loyal customer with Apple since OS X panther. Maybe things have changed since then but the repairs in store are nothing but a rip off. The cost for screen repairs is border line extortion. I’ve owned iPhones since the original but this will be my final Apple purchase. Apple has changed from customer oriented support to caring only about profits.

Outstanding service!! I have to admit, I am not an Apple lover. My daughter purchased a phone and the service was so outstanding, I think I will convert. Not really but the sales team was knowledgeable and help my daughter decide which phone was best for her. Then they got it set up and she walked out ready to use it. Highly recommended

I just wanted to comment on the great customer service received at this apple location! Teegan (I dont think thats his name or how you would spell it but close) was very helpfull and even though he was unable to help me schedule my repair he did walk me through how to get my apple ID unlocked so I could come back to have it fixed. The next day I came back and worked with Robin, if I remember his name correctly (horrible with names) and he was fast, friendly, and my repair was made with in an hour.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Waited three hours after “not being checked in” because an employee failed to do so and then after speaking to an employee I was not taken next after waiting. I was told my time would now be moved to 8:45 pm. I’ve been waiting since 4:30 and it’s now 7:15. They do not greet any of the customers coming in and are very understaffed. Not very polite and my high expectations for this Apple location were completely let down. Zero stars

Waited an hour and no one came over. Eventually purchased Mac Pro online In the Store. When associate came over him and a rude manager said I would have to come back later and that i would have got laptop if I had waited in store. When I got confirmation 30 mins later that computer was ready for pickup then had to wait a further 30 minutes until someone bought. Thought service would be better considering I was about to spend nearly $3000. Very disappointed with experience.

Terrible experience. Waited 4 hours for the everyone to forgot my iPhone was repaired. I waited till close. My screen was being replaced. And my phone wasn’t backed up, I had no assisantance to my new phone and it’s ridiculous how they can forget to do their job when it’s an iPhone screen replacement.

We went to this Apple store to buy a new phone. Had two different sales people help us that had no idea what they were talking about or anything about phones. All they kept saying was we should buy today because new phones were coming in the next few days. I told them we were leaving with a phone today - just needed to decide one which one. They were not helpful at all in deciding between the two we were looking at. In addition to that were very reluctant to even try and transfer contacts to the new phone. The sales lady said she would just try to switch the sim cards - took out a paper clip to remove the sim card and it didn't fit in the new phone. Well when she did that she scratch the sim reader and the phone we had is now useless. When we went to check out we wanted to apply our employee discount through work - the lady said we might as well just order online if we wanted to do that. I was glad after the rude interaction to not give them our business at this location - but was unfortunately left with a once working phone that can no longer make calls, thus phoneless for 2 days until the new phone comes. I have dealt with numerous different Apple stores and that's why we went in instead of going to the carrier based on good experiences. This one has rude employees that know very little about their products or the competitions products for what they charge for their products. We will not be back - hopefully others can find an alternative as well for their technology needs.

The "genius" and the "senior Advisors" are a joke. I have put over 20 hrs of my time talking with them over the phone and in person at the UTC Mall and they can not solve the problem. When I asked them to escalate the problem, they are saying that there is no way to do that, that I have to start all over again. A senior advisor got me in touch with CR, and the guy from CR sent me back to another "senior advisor".Just today, 3 PLUS Hrs. on the phone. The IPhone X was the last product from Apple, they have no respect for they customers. Stay away from Apple please!!!

Walk in for a battery change. 3 hr wait, then battery changes in about an hour. Overall satisfied, but attention should be given to segregating sales, service, and information/education. Great products overall.

I arrived and checked in at 3:00pm today for an appointment at 3:15 and was informed to wait at a certain table which I obliged and that someone would be with me in 10 minutes. 10 minutes pass, then 30 and finally an hour passed before I inquired about when someone would be with me. I was then informed that my time was up at 3:30 and that I will be re-queued and it would be up to an additional hour. So I have to wait even longer because of your team's failure to check in with me? If this is the post-Jobs service that is to be expected, I'm switching to an android.

We understand the frustration when it comes to the Apple Store and we love The Apple Store! The thing The Apple Store does the best at is really displaying and selling the latest and greatest technology! The only problem I see is from a service and training stand point. It's a testament to how large and far Apple has come but suspending training shouldn't have been something that was done. There is an option to receive training in the area, as well as service. If you are looking to service your Apple Products or have a one to one sit down consultation, go to your local Apple Core Computer store! We are customers at The Apple Store and we love it! For someone who has some previous knowledge of the operating systems and the basics of mobile/desktop computing, it's a grand experience but if you do not have a lot of knowledge it may be more difficult to resolve or find what you really are looking for. I see all of these negative reviews and they make me cringe! If you just purchased a beautiful new Apple product or currently have one and need a house call to setup the device or for just overall support/training we can help! We can even help you make a decision on the proper machine that you would like to purchase at The Apple Store! Just reaching out and trying to help out those that really need proper support and have no where to go in the Greater Sarasota area. I had the BEST time here! I went in to purchase an Apple Watch Series 1 and dealt with the sweetest associate named Erin. She didn't try and pressure me into getting the latest-and-greatest and was able to answer all of the questions I had. She was extremely personable and fun to talk to! She met me, showed me how her watch worked, answered my questions pre-purchase, checked me out and helped me with the (somewhat lengthy) set-up process of my watch, all within a 45 minute window. I truly had such a great time talking with Erin and would HIGHLY recommend her if you're looking for an associate to work with at the store :) Thanks so much, Erin for my awesome watch and the fun conversations! (Also: the store was clean, I didn't feel rushed out the door, every associate I spoke with was friendly and courteous, and the entire process was made as easy as possible.)

I was hacked by an apple employee. I have no where else to leave this review as there is no place for Apple company reviews as a whole. It did not occur at this location but when I called customer service about my Apple product issue. The hacking has been confirmed. The customer service experience since this Incident has been horrible. Apple should be bending over backwards to help instead of giving out case numbers,escalating to nowhere and saying sorry there isn’t anything we can do. It’s appalling not to mention scary. We have been die hard Apple customers forever. That has clearly changed.

Understaffed is a Understatement!! On Sunday, my Wife and I visited the store to have a cracked Watch screen repaired (which is Under Warranty). Prior to going in, I spoke with Apple Support whom provided a price and advised that the Store location would either replace with brand new device or have it sent out for repair. We arrived around 12pm... After being bounced around between 3 Customer Service Reps (None knew the price or process for repair), was told there was a 3 hour wait to speak with someone at the "Genius Bar". We decided to get on the waiting list as we had some shopping to do and wanted to grab a bit to eat. Around 3pm, we came back to check on status. Was told that the time would be closer to 4ish. Thought that was a bit ridiculous so we requested to cancel our place in line and we would ship out for repair. At 345pm, my wife received a text stating to head back as they were almost ready to see us. I have a pretty extensive background within the Telecommunications Industry. Switched over to Apple Products about 6 years ago because I was impressed with the Customer Service. My dealings with them over the last year has changed my mind. Think it's about time to start planning our Exit Strategy.

Horrible experience trying to get my iPhone problem fixed. The tech I had at first was irresponsible and made racist slurs. Floor manager is rude and unprofessional. I was trying to explain what my problem was and she kept interrupting, instead of trying to listen to my problem. Between the two techs and the floor manager all they did was argue with me. The customer service was horrible!! Worst Apple Store!!! Needs new management and Apple Genius techs.

Horrible experience at this store. Spent a lot of money here and now that I'm trying to exchange some expensive Beats Headsets they act like I'm a bother. They didn't even help me. Told me to make an appointment. That Google Pixel 2 XL is looking so much better now. Per reviews they know how to treat valued customers unlike this store.

Useless customer service and technical support. If you come into the store for service they will require you to schedule an appointment weeks away, and refuse to provide any technical support at the time. The representatives in the store will not notify you of your options or help you with your issues. Unless you have an appointment that was scheduled weeks ago, you are out of luck and they don’t care.

In all my years I have never ever had customer service this poor. They told me it would be 35 mins and would txt me when it was my turn, 45 mins later nothing.. I went back to ask how much longer to the same person and it showed no appointment I showed the girl I had received no text messages no emails and after setting everything up a 2nd time I was told what seat to sit at and I would be helped 45 more mins and nothing I watched people come and go many as frustrated as I was but I had driven over an hour to get to the store and waited a lil longer finally after an hour wait I gave up so 2 hours in travel time and almost 2 hours in store and nothing to show for it. And considering at least 10 people walking around with tablets many talking to each other I can see nothing in the world worth this kind of customer service. Warning if you do attempt to give them a chance at giving your customer service make sure you have plenty of time and patience. Your going to need it.

Walked in and started walking around looking for an employee for help, 10 mins later I realized that I had to sign in with the guy on the iPad. He asked me for my phone number and said the next available associate will text me in about an hour so I had to wait, I decided to just leave and make an appointment with them and come back at a different day. I see why it takes an hour or more just to get help, earlier I overheard this lady asking an employee does it matter which way the charger goes on her iPhone, really?!! I mean stuff like that you need to just stay home and Google it, call your grandson tell your neighbor, ask a friend don't show up at the Apple store and ask stupid questions. Also if you work there, come on guys get to the point! Show them how to charge thier phone then bye bye have a great day! NEXT!!

I originally gave two stars but added one because the store was clean, open, well lit, and had up to date signages. My teen daughter and I went to the main Verizon store on University Pkwy and we were told we had to go to the Apple store at the mall. We jumped into our vehicle and ran over to the mall and walked into Apple. We walked around looking for somebody to help us and I finally interrupted people and was directed to a person holding an Ipad. I told him we came over from Verizon and we needed a new battery for my daughter's Iphone 7. He said the cost is thirty dollars and the wait would be about six weeks. As I began to tell him that her phone ID number says on line that her battery can be replaced for free he said I could use the computers at Apple's store and call the help line but the normal wait time is two hours. That was it I guess because he just turned to the next person waiting and we were left to our own devices. We left and as we walked out of the mall there was two repair places that could put in a new battery for fifty and sixty dollars in less than twenty minutes. We did not have this done but it does raise questions about Apples customer service and repair times doesn't it? We have not yet fixed my daughters phone because Verizon and Apple are finger pointing who is responsible. I just know that after I made the trip into Apple and they offered zero help and unreasonable time lines and made no effort to strategize and support me as a customer I felt and still feel like an unhappy customer! Of course I know I am one person out of millions and my thirty bucks for a new battery doesn't matter to the billion dollar industry!

I have bad experiences with Brandon apple Store I have iPhone 6 within one month the phone stopped working ,then I took phone to apple store they said they will replace because under warranty it’s take 2-3 days but after 5 days no response then I called store they said they don’t know when the phone coming . Today it’s been ten days without phone and every time I call they keep telling me to upgrades ,that means I have to spend another 400 dollars to buy iPhone 7 they don’t want replace my phone

Way too busy, and they never really offer to fix your issue without either charging you or just saying that there is nothing wrong with your device, even though it is clear that something is wrong. I have an obvious problem with my expensive Apple product but I was told to come back next week so someone can look at it. Then the person told me that they wouldn't do anything but send it to the service center leaving me without my device for several weeks. I only own one Apple device and it will be my only Apple device. Also, why are their products so expensive? They have the same internal parts as other manufacturers but cost three times as much.

Poor customer service. I went in to find out why my new MacBook Pro had keyboard issues (double spacing and other problems). The sales rep acted like he never heard of this problem. A simple Google search found it was a major problem and Apple offers free service to fix it.

Worse customer service ever I wish I can leave less than one star, went to this store to have a replacement after my I phone battery wasn’t holding a charge and screen started stalling from middle popping out of frame after few hours of wait and tests I got my replacement when handed to me had bad lcd screen pixels it was all bright at the top of the screen. Service tech told me I’m not his customer since someone else was helping me first and left for whatever reason so I have to wait for him until he takes care of others to get back to me. I decided to walk away with my refurbish phone and live with the bad pixels few weeks later phone started to turn it self off and restarts randomly for no reason. Talked to customer support who scheduled me for appointment on ITV California instead of Florida more time waistead. Worse service ever.

Please note that this rating is for this actual store, not the products. I went in on 4/10 to get my cracked screen repaired. It was 279$ plus I bought a 40$ otter box case to make sure it didn’t happen again. The next day, I realize my 3D Touch does not work. So I call and get an appointment today (4/15). He asks me to remove my case and after 30 seconds of messing with it, I ask my tech to remove it for me. He then said he is not responsible if the screen breaks. I explain that he’d be better at it than me (it’s his job). He then takes my phone to the back and returns with my case off the phone and it’s cracked right through the center of it. He then explains after messing with my phone for 15 minutes that I need a new phone which is not in stock. So to sum up, I made a decision to have Apple to fix my screen as the “safe route”, they ruined my 3D Touch, I brought back in to get it fixed, they break my brand new 40$ case, and now I have to come back in for a third time for something I didn’t cause and I have to buy a new case because they are not responsible. So much for great customer service.

Apples are incredibly overpriced. The last time I could afford one was my antique tower with 16k of RAM. Smart phones do the same for a fifth of the price. Likewise with tablets. That said, the staff in there were very helpful.

While I rated the store 5 stars it is solely due to the excellent employee who helped me. I believe the store design is chaotic and inhibits a successful/controlled shopping environment. That being said I had a 4:00 appointment to have work done on three phones. I got there 15 minutes early and had my phones processed and being worked on before 3:55. I was told they would be ready at 6:00 and when I return the same friendly employee greeted me by name and returned the devices. All in all it was a successful and painless experience. I compleatly understand where the frustration expressed by many of these reviews comes from but the employees I worked with at this Apple store were incredible and strive to overcome the inherent difficulties the store design presents.

I went to the genius bar hoping to get help when my Airpods case stopped keeping charge. The "genius" looked at it for about two seconds, plugged it in, saw it wasn't keeping charge, and then told me I needed a replacement and it would cost $70. Thank G-d I didn't buy one, because I went home and learned how to reset the case and voir la! It worked! Maybe these "geniuses" should learn how to use their own products.

Had a great experience with Lane at Sarasota Apple Store. Lane resolved our problem in less than an hour. Though we were walk in and had a two hour wait, we had lunch and shopped. We were called for appointment at the promised time. Will visit this store in the future.

I was unable to get an appointment with the Genius Bar online, so I took a chance and dropped in. The wait was 2 hours and 40 minutes, but I was prepared with a book to read. The Genius, Jose Caceres, was so patient and stuck with me until everything was working correctly—even though the problem was NOT Apple software, but AT&T service. He called AT&T for me and made sure everything was working. This was after I had already been to the AT&T store AND made 3 calls to AT&T and told each time they had fixed it. I can’t say enough good things about Jose! He is awesome!

Worst customer service. Bought an ipad from Goodwill that was locked to an icloud account. Called support and asked what to do. They said take receipt of purchase from Goodwill to store along with drivers license and the debit card used to purchase the ipad and they would unlock for me at the apple store. Drove and hour to get to the apple store and then was told that they would not unlock the ipad. I explained all of this to the rep on the phone who told me to take my ipad to the apple store and that the apple store was an hour away and I was trying to avoid a wasted trip. So I have all documentation that the ipad was legitimately purchased, Also was willing to give credit card purchase info as well as driver license information and they wouldn't help. WHAT A WASTE.

I gave them a 1 star because i went in to get my apple watch fixed and 2 replacement batteries for mine and my husbands phone. The lady took our name and there was a wait to be helped. However the wait was very long so i asked her if i can make an appointment for tomorrow. She stated yes. I had an appointment for 5pm the next day. I was helped very promplty the next day during my appointment visit. However.... The lady who made my appointment failed to put in there system that i needed replacement batteries, she only stated i needed my watch replaced. So the gentleman that assisted me during my appointment stated he can only replace my watch and i needed to make an additional appointment for my batteries!! Bad customer service if you ask me. Now i have to take another 40 min drive there another day for that.

I had a 1:40 appointment for a battery replacement. Was not helped until after 2:00. The sales guy was nice I will give them that. I was told to come back at 4:15 to pick up my phone. Waited until exactly 4:15, was told 10 more min. It has now been 35 min past the original pickup and still waiting for my phone. So frustrating getting the run around waiting.

Siri has never worked on my phone, went twice to had it fixed, they failed twice, also spend two 30 minute calls and still didn’t get fixed. In the meantime my phone slid of my hands and the bottom of the screen had a tiny crack. Finally today I went again, 2.5hr wait then they ran the diagnostics, the microphone and sound failed the tests, the phone is not even a year old. They said that the microphone didn’t work because my screen was broken and it would cost me $150 to fix even though they failed to fix it before my screen broke. What a disappointment, while waiting in line saw countless of upset customers. Unfortunately this is not the company it used to be. I felt robed, definitely switching to Samsung. Got 4 phone lines 2 iPads and 2 Apple watches, all for sale now bye bye Apple. I would recommend to anyone who has iPhone to change to Samsung.

This place is terrible! I have NEVER been treated like this at an Apple store! On more than one occasion we have had to go to tampa for service or to purchase an item. Terrible. Had an appointment. After being seated at the table, we were told someone would be with us shortly. After 30 minutes after our appointment time we were still not helped. Running down an employee we heard the same thing, (someone will be right with you shortly). As we sat there for 40 minutes, several people came, were helped and left. We were totally ignored. When I asked to see a manager I was ignored. This is NOT the first time this has happened at the UTC store. The person finally helping us was NOT friendly.

**UPDATE 10/19/2017** I called the Apple Customer Care number, explained my frustration with the process over my little speaker. The were incredibly helpful and ended up sending me a replacement speaker. So kudos to them for the awesome customer support. I have had repeated bad experiences at this location, from the reviews, so has everyone else who dared entered the store. The appointment I set was useless, I waited HOURS for help, only to have some condescending tech tell me that what I wanted to do wasn't possible. If an employee cannot sympathize with the frustration of a customer who has waited hours to be helped...then don't wait on customers, stay in the back room. Secondly, fun fact, if you buy a non-Apple product there you receive zero customer service past 14 days. I purchased a Bose speaker that after a month wouldn't hold a charge, went into Apple and they said there's nothing they could do. Go into Bose and if I had purchased it there they would just exchange it. I will never buy another product from this location. I purchased my new Macbook online because of my absolute distaste for this specific location. Lose the attitude.

I came into the store to potentially purchase a new computer and trade-in an old one. I was told it would be about 35 minutes to do a diagnostics test to see how my old computer was operating. It took more than twice that long to be seen. The GOOD NEWS is that associate, Erin Papke came over and acknowledged that I was waiting for so long and apologized. She even brought over the manager to introduce herself. This is an EXCELLENT example of great customer service. Erin Papke gets 5 stars for her service. Thank you, Erin and keep up the great work!

I have NEVER written a review of any kind in my 71 years, but I have to say what a fantastic experience I just had at Apple University Town Center. The technician's name is David and my problem was complicated. Not only did he have the technical savvy but also the business acumen to make my visit one of the finest customer service experiences I've ever had. I did speak to his leader/supervisor to make sure he got proper recognition!

Had my first 5 star experience at any Apple store I’ve been to, all due to one of there technicians that went above and beyond to make sure I left The store with a smile on my face and a working phone in my hand. The technician that helped me was Franklin and he was not only extremely knowledgeable but also completely passionate. He fixed my phone in under 20 minutes after I spent Over 10 hours on the phone with three different Apple “senior technicians”. I’m not one to write reviews but in this case the experience was so great I absolutely Had to.

Not thrilled about this experience or the last especially and even the time before. Someone should recognize there is a delivery to acknowledge when they stand in a certain place. Everytime. Then, directed like a toddler told to stand where I was standing. This is always such waste of time. Understaffed.

Wow! This place is awesome. The staff is so well trained and very professional......They greet you as you enter their store, and the adventure begins. The first person you meet, will direct you to your necessary station,,,,and that next person, will take care of you, or find someone that can. Here, you are never alone...and you might get to go to the, "Genius Bar," where these top notch thinkers, help you with the more difficult problems...I've been here several times, and have never been disappointed. I absolutely love this place. They are service oriented, with a goal to solve all your problems or help with all your needs....10 stars...

What a terrible experience due to worst in class customer service. Every sales representative was absolutely rude and immature. The sad part is that nobody will really do anything about the bad reviews. I have Apple watches, iPhones, AirPods, Macs, and iPads so clearly Apple exclusive. But the quality of sales staff at this store is a joke. Does Apple corporate have a sub par standard on who they hire? Just shocked. Hopefully I will have better luck at another store in my hometown.

Wow....Lane was a jerk. I would never have an employee work at my company who treat their customers like trash. My appointment was 7pm and checked in at 7:10. I called to let them know I was running 10 min late and still said to come in. I was greeted by Lane 30 min later who didn't seem friendly and spoke to me as if I was ignorant, little did he know I have an M.D.. He did his diagnostic on my cell and told me I needed a new phone. Long story short- locked myself out of my icloud and he told me I had to come back in 2 days to pick up my new cell phone. I didn't question it and made an appt. My husband who was with my child outside questioned why would they make you wait 2 days if they said they were giving you a new phone and wanted to talk to him. We went back in and asked a nice employee and she gave us his name. I saw him walking in front of us and called his name. He didn't even look at us and walked away yelling I'm out of here. Obviously, he clocked out. The employee that gave me his name was appalled of how rude he was and so were the customers around us. She tried to explain the quick question my husband had in 5 min. Walked out of the Apple store angry at how Lane treated us and how he probably treated other customers. Shame on your Apple for employing someone like him.

I have been here several times to make a purchase only. I always have to wait anywhere from 15" to 30" just to make a purchase. I go in with exactly knowing what I want. Forget the rudeness of these so called agents who think they are Steve Jobs. I see why Amazon is what it is. Could have stayed home with a one click then to have to wait for rude employees to make a purchase. Today you should be able to walk into any Apple store and get waited on IMMEDIATLY, restaurants do better than this place.

LEMON Formally Apple, Lemon came to life with the death of Steve Jobs. These are my OPINIONS on the soon failing future of the company once known as the king of simplicity in design. - - - MY LAST 2 PRODUCTS I have purchased, in the past year, have been LEMONS. 1) MacBook Pro displays lines down the LED less than 2 months after purchasing – still haven't sent it in because I can't go without (business). - 2) Apple Watch series 4 is now being sent to their service center 1 month after purchasing. - - - DO THEY GIVE LOANERS WHILE YOUR LIFE ESSENTIALS ARE SHIPPED? No. They only do this for business accounts despite paying crazy prices for Apple Care. If you need your laptop for service arrangements for clients (for example you work as a freelancer) it becomes a very BIG PROBLEM. Time is money. - - - WILL THEY REPLACE YOUR ITEM? Not before it is sent away for days. They set their departments up into services and sales. They do this so when you visit the store they have an excuse to why they cannot just replace your product in my opinion. - - - IF THE PRODUCT IS REPAIRABLE If the product is not replaced it is refurbished by the service team. So if you bought a product for full price and it has to be fixed within the first few months, you just paid full price for a refurbished product. They will claim this is not true because Apple is actually fixing it but when I asked why they can't give me a new product and resell the defected one, once fixed (since it is like brand new), they said because they can't sell serviced/refurbished products as new. - - - THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED STORE DESIGN There are lines for reasons. Every time I visit the store it feels like "Black Friday." The "geniuses" are hard to identify due to their lack of noticeable attire and most are dedicated to servicing those customers that purchased an overpriced lemon that needs shipped to the service department. The in-store geniuses are incapable of servicing most products. I am unsure why they are called Geniuses – maybe Shipping Coordinators or Genius Assistants would be a better title? - - - WHY STEVE JOBS WOULD NOT BE HAPPY A) ESSENTIALS NOT INCLUDED with a supposedly high-end product 1) USB adaptor initially sold for $35 but has since been reduced due to angry customers (and probably competition from 3rd parties) 2) Lack of headphone jack on new phones lead to an additional purchase of blue-tooth “AirPods” that run at a ridicules price of almost $160. B) THE ADDITION OF THE STYLUS (loss of simplicity in designs) "God gave us 10 styluses. Let's not invent another” "Who wants a stylus?" "You have to get 'em, put 'em away, you lose 'em. Yuck!” “Nobody wants a stylus. So let's not use a stylus." - Steve Jobs C) DUMB DESIGN DECISIONS Who put the Bluetooth mouse charger on the bottom of the mouse? One of the dumbest design decisions I've ever witnessed. - - - Apple my be thriving but I forecast a future with either major changes or market loss. I am normally ahead of the average consumer when it comes to technology forecasts (I work in the field) and after buying Apple products for nearly 20 years I am reconsidering and looking at other options for the first time in my life.

The place is a hit or miss - you like it or you don't. It's a personality thing and a money thing. Apple doesn't want to open so many locations because it's a corporation out to make profit. If you don't like crowds of people inside the store, you need to come in really early to avoid them. I like the perks Apple gives to its users. Not every phone company replaces your expensive phone with a new one. Paying more money for a phone gives you more perks that you might actually use. Determine what you need and what Apple does to meet your specific needs. I personally don't mind big crowds because I get reservations for service if I need service, and timely service is all that matters. Apple provides the means for everyone to be efficient with their time in the store.

I was so happy when we finally got our own local Apple Store. I stood the lines there for new iPhones, Apple Watch couple of times and the experience was solid. However, many times I did schedule the appointment, even though I was on time, there was always extended wait time before getting helped. Every time. I do not think they handle appointments well.

Went in last night about an hour before they closed. Within 3 minutes, a sales associate signed me in and we ended up waiting for less than 15 minutes for another associate to assist us with my purchases. I can't remember her name, but she was Filipino and very kind and incredibly knowledgable. I ended up getting a MacBook Pro at a discount and a free pair of Beats wireless headphones because I am a college student. Very happy with my in-store experience and my purchases!

All the staff were super helpful. I took 2 different classes and both Steven & Pamela were awesome. Very inclusive for all levels and answered all our questions. The classes were easy to sign up for online. Keep in mind that this a tourist town and during peak season the classes will be filled much faster so you will need to check frequently. They do in fact have a One on One option for people who have recently purchased a computer.

Had a screen protector that Apple UTC installed crack on my month old phone. Went to collect the warranty and was told to contact Belkin for replacement and Apple would reinstall it. Got the replacement. Went back to Apple UTC and “Chris” told me that they would not reinstall it. I was on my own. And if I was not happy with that then maybe I should be purchasing Android products. Will never set foot in this store again. And yes. After four Apple Phones my next phone will be a Samsung!

The best service! My IMac work computer was down. First I worked 3 hours with a tech on the phone. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly but we couldn't fix it without losing everything. So we made an appointment for me to take to a local service center. And went through similar steps. To fix he had to go a step further, but he explained everything in detail. My tech at UT was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. He fixed it. I'm 100% happy with every person I talked to or worked with today who works for Apple!

Took my elderly parents in to this store on Feb 13, 2019. There were ZERO customers in the store at the time. My Father asked if he could have someone show him how to get something off of his iphone screen. The worker told him no - he had to make an appt. Seriously? There were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the store. My Father explained he is 81 yrs old and he is not very 'techie'. He was told NO - "make an appt for tomorrow". With frustration, we left the store. After a few minutes, we decided to go back in and talk to someone else - a lovely chap fixed the problem in @ 5 seconds. Thank you to you for helping. In the end it worked out, but in the meantime - who is this jerk that is representing Apple products? Who does he think he is? And why is he working with PEOPLE?? Disgusting display of customer service. Avoid this store.

They make it damn near impossible to cancel your appointment over the phone. The automated system needs major improvements and so does their support representatives. (revision) I have been coming to this genius bar for about a year now, and my experiences have been both good and bad. However, it seems every single time I go there, they have been able to mostly solve my issues.

I’d give a 0 star rating if I could. So, my phone’s battery needed to be replaced (it would restart automatically every minute or so even after soft reset). I thought going to the Apple store would be the safest route, so I made an appointment online on 05.13.19 for 6:50 on the 14th. I came into the overpacked Apple store at 6:48 on the 14th and was told by an employee (whose name I wish I knew) that there was no appointment for me and that I’d have to wait an hour for anyone to be available and that I still might not get serviced at that point. Discouraged and stressed for time I went to another phone fixing store at the other end of the mall. The price was $20 lower and my battery was replaced 15 minutes faster than estimated at Apple. I was very very happy and when I checked my e-mails about 15 minutes ago I see an e-mail for a reservation at the Apple store... to summarize: I love Apple products, however customers are clearly not a priority and even if you make a reservation you do not matter to employees.

My experience with Apple turned out to be a nightmare. Try to call customer service for something! I hope I don’t need to come back there! My family and I will be switching Apple products for something else now.

What is the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait 45 minutes to speak with a ‘Genius?’ After keeping my phone for 2 more hours, they told me they wouldn’t touch it because I had the screen repaired by someone other than Apple. I am sure this was in the fine print when I got the phone 2 years ago, but who remembers that? Instead, I wasted 3 hours of my life that I will never get back. Wouldn’t even sell me a battery, which is what they thought the problem was. However, they put the pressure on to purchase a new phone. I will never own an Apple product again.

Worst experience ever with this store and the support. Waited 4 hours to be seen when my phone stopped working. I was offered a chance to schedule a visit 4 days later, but who can wait four days without a phone. Then i was told that the issue was a known issue and my phone would be sent off to be repaired at no cost, but that I wouldn’t have it for a week. Then after a week I was informed that though it was a known issue, my phone serial number didn’t qualify me for the free repair for the known issue because it wasn’t one of the phones having this issue. (Even though it was having the same issue.) So they would be billing me $320 for the repair of my phone, which was conveniently just out of the 1 year warranty or they could send me my phone back to use as a paper weight. By far the worst customer service issues I’ve had with them to date. This was a simple fix of you doing what was right to fix a bad part you installed in a phone. It would have cost you a few dollars to do what was right, instead you’ve lost an entire family of customers and thousands of dollars a year in purchases. I’ve spent upwards of $10,000 on apple products in the last few years from MacBooks to iPads and iPhones. But after the last 5 phones we’ve purchased have all died just outside of warranty, I’ve decided to never purchase another. I’ll learn another operating system and take my money elsewhere. Keep it up apple, this is certainly helping your stock.

Camera of the phone was broken, very unfriendly employee (bald with glasses just so everyone knows) told me it could be fixed for free and there is no need to change the phone. Makes me purchase the iCloud storage so I could backup all my pictures and things. Ok I come back after 1 hour and a half to pick up my phone. Still broken, they tell me I have to pay the fee to get a new phone. So I wait another hours, get a new phone and backup everything. Moral of the story after having asked if my phone will have all the pictures and after having them tell me it will be exactly like the old ones, I lost all of my pictures because I guess the system wasn’t backed up appropriately by them! This is not the first time I come to this store and I witness incompetent employees providing subpar service. Very disappointing from Apples part.

They all walk around either talking football to other customers or starring at their phone. I’m about to order a Fire TV. Really want to get a Apple TV locally but I guess you can’t do that. Vanessa even said "it's not a matter of if we can do it it's a matter of how."
