Worst service I’ve seen. I just entered the store looking to buy an Apple Watch and first of all, they have like 10 employees talking to themselves and ignoring the customers. I approached one and ask him several questions which he answered in a hurry, like I was holding him from hanging with his buddies. He never explained how the watch works etc. Which is expected from a salesperson. When I asked him if he wanted to sell because of his attitude he was extremely rude. It just looks like they just want a holiday job but are not interested in selling. I just walked out and took my business to another store. Sorry Apple, next time try to hire more qualified candidates. Not returning here, ever!

It is easy and way better to send your phone to the apple care on mail and wait couple of days to get it fixed than going to this service center. In one sentence, Apple Altamonte mall made me to switch to Android. They are absolutely worst.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I think some negative reviews have been posted by those unfamiliar with the "Apple way". They try to be hands on by approaching each customer. Don't expect to pull a number tape and stand in line. If the door greater misses you, chances are you wont be waited on at all. Simply explain to the greater why you are there, and they will enter you into the data base. Next, simply walk around looking at the latest, and staff will approach you when ready. Leave your expectations based on how other stores do it at home, and you'll be just fine :)

Quite disappointed with the store on this visit! The atmosphere has become noisy and chaotic. There were more employees than customers, however it took talking to three employees to finally get help. There were problems with connecting to the store's server - which was required to get the battery on my phone changed. Waited the recommended hour, came back to the store with a repeat of the above. Waited another 15-20 minutes before a tech came out from the back with my phone. Showed ID & paid for the battery. Got my phone back. And this was WITH an appointment! You would have thought we were undesirable characters wandering into the store. Not the sort of experience I care to repeat. If customer service across the company has dropped to this level, it's no surprise Apple's stock had dropped in value.

Great experience with Genius Bar tech Kyle. Came in to get my just recently fixed MacBook Pro's screen repaired due to damage to the screen during the repair/transport. They were very quick to get me help even without an appointment. Any time spent waiting was very much worth it for the support I received. Thanks Kyle and Apple.

I purchased an Otter Box case for my new iPhone X here here exactly 20 days ago. Today, I return to the store because the OtterBox case came apart (the bottom leather unglued) and I was told I had to go through OtterBox directly for an exchange. When I originally purchased the phone and case, I was told that both the phone and case would be covered through the Apple store since I had Apple Care. The guy that helped me today said that they cover the case for 14 days and I was waaaaaay past the 14 days. Really? They consider 20 days "waaaaaay" past 14 days? Also, you may want to train your employees about product warranty so that they don't provide deceptive information to customers just because they want to be done with you to move on to the next sale. AWFUL!

I'm an Android user. Just here while my sister gets her phone fixed. The store is really shiny and clean. I think most of the people who work here are supermodels. Though the guys at the Genius Bar don't look like geniuses i won't stereotype. Three stars because this stuff seems too expensive.

I'm very disappointed in this store. I could go on and on but I'm going to try to summarize my experience as best as I can. First of all the security officer was rudely standing in my way while I was trying to look at a product, he was acting as if I was doing something wrong. The second thing I must mention is that when I was looking for help I kept finding the employees chatting instead of helping me. The third thing I must mention is that when I finally did get help the employee was treating very poorly, he did not seem to care about my questions and spared me very little time. Now to put my experience with the service aside I I think that the products themselves are all way overpriced. If you add the overpriced products to the poor costumes services you are left with a 2 star. The only things I liked about this store is the location and design, and that is simply not enough. I hope Apple finds a way to fix these issues but until then I will be steering clear of Apple.

Horrible customer service. I was told to go here by AT&T after buying an iPhone from a 3rd party. Waited over an hour after the concierge said my problem was not difficult and someone could easily help me. When Greg started assisting, all he did was try to sell us another phone and stated we shouldn’t but from a third party seller. He said he couldn’t help us and we would have to do it online. I felt that we were not given service because we did not buy directly from the apple store. Not to mention I was there with my disabled husband and elderly father and there were no seats. Re-thinking apple purchases in the future!

This is the worst apple customer support I have ever seen. The guy Matt was speaking to other customer while helping me out. Gave me a replacement phone which was re manufactured. He also did not apologize for the issue I was facing in the Apple product. He was giving blunt answers and was not co-operative at all. Not happy with Apple and its customer support.

Took my phone to get the battery replaced... not because it was seriously needed but because I wanted to stretch the use since the phone was in perfect conditions. After they took the phone, brought it back some time after saying it had “water damage” and would not replace the battery. I figured what the heck the phone is fine but when I grabbed it to start using it, the touch button would not work. I call them back and they offered me a refurbished phone for $319... I retorted that the phone was fine and now it was broken... they refused to do anything. I escalated the issue to a supposed leader and she repeated the same thing. Long story short they did nothing to repair the damage they did to my phone. I even requested for her boss information and she completely refused as well. I have never been treated like this at a store and would highly encourage others to stay away.

Been visiting this store for over a decade now, never to buy anything, just to check out the cool gadgets. The workers never minded us messing around with the equipment. When I actually did need to speak with one of them, I was able to have all my questions answered and was helped right away.

Very expensive products for the quality you get. iPhones used to be very good phones. My iPhone 7, which is supposed to be splash resistant, is water damaged. I think that miss leading people into thinking that your phones are water resistant is unethical. I'm sure that you are getting money from repairs all the time due to water damage. Your business sucks, but people will move to another place if you don't provide value for such a high price product. It's a matter of time, you just lost another client.

This store will send you away for any reason. I have had multiple people tell me to just make the drive to florida malls apple store for a replacement as they always come up with an issue as to why they can’t fix your phone in store. Needless to say they told me I didn’t have applecare so they couldn’t replace my phone.. So I called AND went to florida mall ans both said I did have it and I got it replaced fine. Avoid this store like a plague!!

My husband and I arrived at the Apple Store and were greeted right away. Very kind and factual. We waited for just a few minutes and we were welcomed by Chad the genius assigned to us. He was so nice and informative without seeming arrogant. I'm a tech nerd so I already knew a lot. He catered to what I was wanting to know and presented the demo very well. We reserved the model I wanted while I made the decision to buy or not. We came back about 20 minutes later and had the pleasure of working with Ben again. He sold me the model I wanted and offered to help set it up but I declined as I enjoy the process. I was very happy with the service and the wait times were barely anything. Very smooth and enjoyable process.

It's Apple, mostly the experience was interesting. Walking into a room of Apple still gets me even years later. Service was good, but there are always lines. Call in and set up an appointment ahead of time then plan the day till the appointment time. Otherwise you'll waste a huge block of the day.

I received several iPads that had dead pixels (look like stuck periods and when writing/typing or debris under the glass) or horrendous backlight bleed that made it difficult to see videos during night scenes etc. I also use the iPad as a medical student for contrasted (black and white) images and the light bleed would wash out some of the images, which was frustrating when assessing them. A manager came out and told me that I was no longer able to make, exchange or return purchases at this location when exchanging an iPad (I have a family of 5 and we own several iPads). This upset me as I own most of the latest Apple gadgets e.g. AppleWatch, MacBook, 13" MBP, 15" MBP, 27" iMac, 3 iPads (one an iPad Pro... recent purchase), Apple TV, HomePod, router, subscribed to Apple Music etc etc... I purchased all of these devices... whether it be for me or family members. This store is awful with customer service at times... I'm not happy with these folks and their poor rating is a reflection of what to expect... they are a disservice to Apple and give the company a poor image. Past experiences with products not working properly, even with an appointment and Apple Care + will leave you waiting around for hours and days without resolution.

Apple has absolutely no regard or respect for our time. They sell you a phone that breaks quickly and then it takes a week to get into the store for an appointment. Walk-in to the Apple store? Oh yes! And wait for many hours. Mail the phone in? Absolutely and it will take up to 5 business days to get it back. Tell me why a company with so much money and resources can’t come up with a better solution to help its LOYAL CUSTOMERS. Perhaps they could hire more employees? I purchased an Ipad mini and and Ipod at this location and each time the service has been poor. I was ignored for at least 15 minutes until I finally found someone to help me pick up a purchase. It is always crowded in this store and NEVER enough people to help. I almost walked out. I will not make any furhter purchases at this location. I don't even feels as if my business was appreciated.

Absolute WORST customer service Experience. When I visited sore with issues with touch screen and battery performance and they asked me to stay there until the issue repeats or come with an evidence which is showing the problem. Who will have two mobile phones to take video. And when does the Video evidence became a STANDARD procedure? Extremely rude Apple Genius person (Matt) and same management (Susan). And sent the phone to apple care since it is under warranty and they fixed three of the issues(Please see the attachment). Simply apple store people don't wanted to help even though it has been three issues. It is pointless and waste of time to be there for help. Now it's time not to buy an apple product again. I have been a apple customer since Apple iPhone 4 and bought almost every version of iPhone, a Mac Book pro and so on.. And never faced such kinda treatment like in this store. My opinion is that I shouldn't have wasted money on overpriced Apple products and customer service sucks. Hard learned lesson. Apple might be thinking that people will buy products irrespective of how they treat or so.

Disappointed. Offered a battery replacement, but the store did a very poor job of informing me that if I had a second party replaced the screen then Apple was not responsible for damage sustained in changing battery. So...after spending nearly 2 hours in the store I receive a broken screen that it's on my dime to replace...and yes admittedly, a "free battery". Would have been nice to have had a verbal conversation about this risk up front.

I have no idea why this place is always this busy and the lines are so long it's insane. You can literally end up waiting for like an hour to drop $1000 on a new phone. Why. I once dropped my brother off, drove to UCF, took a quiz, and drove back and he was just getting someone to talk to him. I guess the employees are nice enough. Obviously they can't engage with you on how ridiculous it is, since they work there. So no, I don't recommend this place if you have things to do.

Great customer service. I went in to pick up an item I had bought online, and the staff quickly got my information and I was able to get my item quickly. I also asked questions about other products in the store, and the person who helped me was genuinely trying to help me get what I wanted / needed. Would go again and buy from them. Customer service after you buy a product from the. Is garbage. They are real accommodating when you are looking to purchase but service is completely opposite when you need help after purchase. I could sit here and write a multi paragraph rant about it but those of you who went back for service after buying something from them will know what I’m talking about. I’d like to add I drove here twice from Oviedo/chuluota area because the dumb kid told me to come back tommorow so they can see what’s wrong with my product I bought from them, fine, I came back tommorow like he said hoping someone would help me figure why my Mac book was broken just to be told I would have to make an appointment?!?!?! Need I explain the waste of time, gas, frustration this all is?

My prior visits to the Altamonte Apple store have been great, but the customer service rep I dealt with during my last visit was the worst I have ever encountered at any store in my life. This rep blamed me for visiting the store too soon to pick up an item that I was told by another Apple employee would be ready 20 minutes before I even got there. The rep had a bad attitude from the start and I did not appreciate it so I asked to speak to a manager, which she refused. I wondered why this Apple store had so many 1 star reviews, but now I understand. Apple may have some of the best products, but some of their store employees need serious customer service training or they should not be working directly with customers. In contrast, the customer service experience from Apple Care online support has been fantastic.

A mixed bag. Often bad service and an arrogant elitist mentality. Often too busy to appreciate their customers. Annoying automated system. Never have the phone you need in stock even months after release. But... Occasionally you get excellent service so it isn't all bad. I called today for instance and received fantastic service. Very pathetic experience on top of faulty product and injury. Update: now apple customer care is not able to trace our laptop for a week. Will never again buy apple product.

I had a great experience. Was expecting the worst based on previous reviews I read beforehand but they really did their best to help out and understand my situation. The appointments were running a little bit behind (30 min), but that is expected after a long, busy day. I was checked on numerous times throughout the waiting period, which ensured me I hadn't been forgotten about. Everyone was extremely nice and very eager to help in any way possible. I ended up working with 3 different techs who all pulled their knowledge together to help make my visit a successful one. I would highly recommend this store, each employee truly had a warm, positive and "can-do" attitude!

Went to the apple store tonight with my 12 year old son. I had to come home and write a review about this store. Yesterday my sons ear pods for his iPhone broke. Weeks ago mines just stopped working & I realized that my back up lightening to Usb cable stopped charging my phones or transferring data to my mac laptop. We had to make a run to the mall to go to macys and I told my son lets grab up our headphones and my charging cable and see if they can help us with these items. So we stopped in about 45 minutes before closing and was helped by a friendly guy wearing a beanie, I think his name was Austin, he called over someone, I think his name was JC & explained my dilemma with the broken non-working headphones & cable. He was super friendly and asked me did I have the receipts & when did I purchase them. Luckily I usually have them email me a copy of the receipt instead of giving me a hard copy. So I was easily able to locate two of the receipts but couldn't locate the third and both receipts were more than 60 days old. So I was prepared for them to give me a hard time and send me on my way. Too my surprise, they were so very nice & they patiently waited while I went through literally every apple receipt on my phone and there was a bunch of them, because during christmas I bought several apple products. They happily replaced both of our headsets and my charging cable at no extra charge & they didn't make me feel like a crazy person for asking if they could help us with these items. This is why I will forever be a happy apple customer. Thank you so much to the staff at this apple store for being so friendly, patient and for replacing our EarPods and my charging cable. I appreciate the great customer service & would highly recommend this store to anyone!!

Talk about the A TEAM! Even with Apple being slammed inside, never is there Delay in customer service. I find it very impressive that the whole store seems to be working together to meet all customers needs. I was quickly able to get in and out during lunch hour while picking up order I had placed online. They also have a kid section for kids to be able to interact with the Apple devices. Apple does host classes for those who are not Apple sappy, I typically stand around listening to all the cool tricks the Apple technicians are teaching new Apple users. Definitely a must see and switch to Apple!

Went to this store as it's the closest Apple Store to my house. My iPhone screen cracked while I was at work, in case and while in my pocket. I was a bit surprised, but not by too much, that Apple had the cheapest price in fixing iPhone screens. Every other place I went wanted $200 or more plus tax. Apple was about $160 with tax. Each person I came across was friendly and helpful, only downside was the wait time. About 90 minutes to meet someone, then another 90 to have the work done. I'm not complaining too much since I wasn't forced to stay at the Apple Store, I was free to go somewhere else while I waited. I'm glad I went to the Apple Store instead of a 3rd party place, as something happened with the graphics display on the iPhone I brought in. They ended up giving me a replacement for the troubles at the same price that I was quoted when I came in, so I'm definitely happy about that. I'm sure I would've been screwed if I went elsewhere.

This was my first time ever going into an Apple store for one of my Apple products my MacBook was in bad shape with space wise and needed help with the issue I was having they took me and I had an appointment they took me to a table and an hour goes by 20 employees helping others besides me not even bothering to ask what’s going on or say hi and they come in and leave with the issue resolved and it pissed me off so my dad had to ask who is going to help me after being told we were at the wrong table for my device issue so they put us where Mac computers get fixed and after that it was good thank god for David that works there was super funny and cool and he got my issue resolved he was only person that made me feel good about coming in for the first time . Will never come back unless he’s working and I’ll ask for him when I do have to go back .

The store just opened after being closed for redesign for about 8 months. The store is big! You no longer feel crowded. The staff are very energetic and helpful! And they actually have staff now! Before you would wait a long time sometimes over an hour before you got help and this was the biggest complaint I had. They now have tons of help and waited no longer than 10 minutes. If you had a bad experience before I highly recommend giving this location a try as I'm certain you won't be disappointed.

Inspite of some negative reviews here I went ahead to get my iphone battery replaced and it was SUPER positive ! Lots of helpful employees and yes, it is busy which speaks of its good customer service !!! Make a reservation online for a repair and then work with the time frame and all goes like clockwork and with the Apple

Absolutely terrible! Went in for a new problem with my iPhone 6 after getting my battery replaced two months prior. The technician refused to do any diagnosis on my phone as I was having GPS/Location Services issues. I was then directed to the Manager (Nate). He was even worse! They refused to run any diagnosis still, and told me that I should just purchase a new phone. Nate then questioned my honesty asking me why it took me so long to bring up the issue! Reasons Being: 1. I go to school in Gainesville where there is no Apple store, and the closest one is two hours away. 2. I don't use my GPS everyday and didn't see it as a major concern until I was directed to a lake. Not only was my honesty questioned, but Nate then acted as a salesman trying to sell me an iPhone 7. I was given two options: 1. An $80 credit from my battery replacement towards a new iPhone 6 ($300). 2. Trade in my current phone for a $150 credit towards a new iPhone 7. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. I have since received a new phone from an excellent customer service rep through the phone. I have also reported Nate to upper management through Apple Support and hope he is thoroughly evaluated.

Ridiculous that you have to have an appointment. Especially when your phone has a serious issue that needs to be addressed immediately. There seems to be no working system to get help. Forget about having one employee to help you. Your one employee is off helping 10 people. If I phones were so amazing, why do they need Appeal Stores? Why do they need to have genius bars? I don't see Samsung or LG having these stores to fix products. Could be it that Apple BLOWS?!?!

This store is absolute garbage with customer service. My friend I was with had set an appointment for 2 o'clock and we showed up early and they asked if we wanted to check in then come back and we said yes. We then returned, and ask for help and they say that we weren't checked in for our appointment so we had to wait in the very long line. Once seated, we got to glance around and see workers chit chat among eachother not doing anything to help customers that have been waiting around for minutes. I'm typing this now after 30 minutes of waiting to be helped, and they have even helped people that we saw walk in AFTER WE CHECKED IN. I'm glad the workers are having a good time hanging out but don't go here if you actually expect to be helped.

It's an apple store so the normal selection of the stores. There isn't as many people as you would get at some of the larger malls, but that isn't a bad thing as getting help is actually easier. Was able to make an appointment and get a phone fixed relatively quickly as far as Apple stores are concerned, but still overpriced on general

I took my computer in to get it repaired last Saturday. I had to wait a little bit, which is no big deal, but they told me that the repair should take 3-5 days and they would call me then. I was happy and headed home. It’s been a FULL 7 DAYS since I dropped my laptop off and no emails or calls what-so-ever. I’m a bit concerned but please CALL or EMAIL me after the 5th day to say that the repair is going to take longer. I would appreciate that but as of right now I have no idea what’s going on.

I personally had a wonderful experience at this Apple store many times. Since this is the only Apple store in the area (you will have to go to the Mall of Millenia for the next closest Apple store) you can imagine it gets quite busy. The staff are nice and friendly, the store is bright and clean and all the products on display (at the time I went) worked and were in good condition. Plan ahead and if possible make an appointment if service work is needed. Its a very busy store so plan out the time of day you would like to visit, if possible try to visit during "off peak" hours so it will be less busy. In my experience it is ALWAYS busy but if you plan it out right you can arrive when its not too busy.

We use apple products across all our companies. I am having the hardest time reseting my apple ID password.Originally it was wait 24hrs. Representative calls me makes me do the whole process again. To then tell me i was to wait 14 days. that is half a month. With out a tool i use to conduct business. Apple support refuses to help me with this issue. Just tell me to keep on waiting. NOT a happy customer at all. Will be switching all my companies to androids now. Thank you!

Excellent service! My iPhone randomly died in the night, and I was pretty distraught and helpless when it came to Apple support online. I felt like no good was gonna come from making the 30+ minute commute to the closest Apple store, but my visit turned out to be a blessing. Derek was really chill, and made the rest of my day good vibes. Since I was under warranty, he replaced my phone with a new one. He gave me great answers to my questions, which were related to working for Apple. Nice guy! I was out of the store within 25 minutes with a brand new phone.

This Apple Store, has placed alligations on me stating that “ I was talking to there female staff employee about pornography. In which In fact I never once said anything to no one about pornography in this nor any other Apple Store. So I would watch yourself when visiting this Apple Altomsnte Springs Store due to this Sr. Manager Alonzo that could place the same allegations on you too. Also when i have called the Apple Altomante Springs Apple Store Locantion it comes back in my iPhone Device as spam that they herras people. ????SMH

I had a replacement battery delivered to this store. I went Friday and they took my phone and told me to come back in an hour. When I dropped off my phone it was at 54%. When I picked up my phone an hour later my phone was at 54%/ I do not believe they changed my battery and I feel I was ripped off. I will never buy another Apple product.

Trying to reschedule a service appointment, when I try to login, it tells me for security reasons I have to reset my password. When I complete the resetting process and try to login again.... I get the same message that I have before, for security reasons I have to resetmy password. I cant even make an appointment to bring my headphones which still have a warranty to the store to get fixed. Never again with any Apple Product!

I have to say that I hate waiting, and after my latest experience with this Apple Store, I hate it even more. I find absolutely ridiculous that a customer who paid for a phone, that by the way cost hundreds of dollars, has to wait 3+ hours to be assisted by a tecnician. I had to go to the Apple Store because of the battery/performance issue and I had to wait 3+ hours. Apple’s reps are great, but thr waiting time is unacceptable! Not a happy camper with Apple lately.

It should be specified when I call that this location is in a mall and exactly where it is located so that when I show up for an appointment I am not wandering around a huge mall and end up 10 minutes late and am put on an hour plus long wait list just to look at and confirm a broken screen that needs repaired. I am from over an hour away and had other things to get done.

I was so skeptical, based on the poor reviews, to have to drive over 50 miles to take a defective phone to this store for replacement. I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful and professional service I received from the employees at this location. Perhaps only the grouchy disgruntled customers with a negative opinion are the only ones writing reviews. I certainly didn't find the same inferior service that they all write about. Maybe I'm lucky, but I would not hesitate to return to this store for service.

Apple discontinues replacement parts and computer repairs after the iMac is about 7 years old! After that Apple leaves you hanging high and dry out in the cold without any assistance. The staff working at that Apple Store have very nice attitudes, however.

Walked in this am without a reservation to fix a problem with charging my iPhone. Left 15 minutes later with problem resolved. Line moved quickly and customers ahead of me seemed very pleased with the service. I did not notice the arrogance of the Apple employees which some have mentioned in earlier reviews.

I was nervous about coming to this apple store due to all the bad reviews. Even so, I had no choice since its the only one around where I live. Besides having to wait a little bit longer even though I had an appointment, I had a positive experience. The Worker fixed my laptop in about 10 min and added protection to it.
