THESE JERKS ARE NOT, ACCORDING TO ANY INFORMATION I HAVE ENCOUNTERED, ASSOCIATES OF MICROSOFT, DESPITE THEIR REPEATED CLAIMS These people are scam artists of a higher order than you will generally encounter. You read an alert in your browser stating that you have been infected, and that Microsoft will shut you down in order to protect "their network." This induces a state of panic and, as the only person in the house at the time, and as a young person who had just left home, I fell for it. These SK people search your computer for threats as they define them and, with your consent, claim to detect threats and kill them. These monsters ask that you purchase a warranty that lasts around two years. Hell, I was dumb enough to pay for it. Dumb, dumb, dumb in my state of panic, and these predators giggle. May they rot in hell for their theft. Stay away from SK Tech Services, please! They'll only harass you. These people are criminals! STAY AWAY, PLEASE!

I was leery about this company and services. I have antivirus protection on my computer and have always believed that this was enough protection. I was researching a topic for my homework one evening and recieved some kind of technical issue from a trojan virus and was directed to contact this company to resolve the issue. I am very ignorant when it comes to computers and according to Sk Tech I need a network security protection to avoid this issue in the future. I was able to make a payment and fix my computer issue quickly and SK Tech even made an additional call to let me know that my computer was fixed and able to be used. I am still unsure about how all this extra protection works, but will definitely be looking into it to avoid this happening again.

If a window pops up on your computer, with sirens blaring, suggesting a possible hacking and supplying a number to call, close out and RUN away from it! That number could lead you to SK Tech. They persuade you to sign up for "support." What you can get is actually an elaborate scam involving the purchase of multiple Google Play cards (to be used supposedly to refund money owed you) costing in the $1000's! These guys (all with Indian accents) are slick, and they run an elaborate ruse. They earn your trust by promising to protect your computer, and they then hack into it and steal your information and data. They urgently report a "call from Microsoft" and ask for more money in the form of Google Play cards to fix the hacked data and protect your system from future attacks. You start to suspect a scam, and then they call and pretend to be from the SK Fraud Department, They tell you that they have uncovered a ring of scammers in their office. They have fired and sued the employees who had originally scammed you, talk so compassionately about your situation and offer to refund all your money--IF you buy more Google Play cards. They even throw in a faked call to Google Consumer Support by which you can talk to a "representative" and verify the Google Play card refund process. I'm so ashamed to admit that I was duped out of nearly $5000 before they were finished with me. The final humiliation was when they blocked my calls. Please, please, please have nothing to do with this company or anyone identifying themselves as being with SK Tech.

He was precise and answered my questions patient and confirmed the legitness of their company. Also, he let me pay for the service in two which really helped me. I got to watch the whole process on my computer which was fascinating and they cleaned my computer from junk I never could have guessed was there! Actually told my friend that the pseudo virus message needed hours of work to correct - As opposed to just rebooting it. Told him if he switched his PC off then he would loose ALL the data on his PC. When my friend said he was going to call me (I'm in IT) they told him, "Well, Please Hurry - your PC is slowing down our network"!!!!!! Really.....scam artists. Probably posted the other reviews themselves, every one that reviewed them has only ever done one review. Oh, and unless someone Hijacked their phone number, yes it was them.
