So my old laptop stopped working and Dave said he can trade in that one for a new one. So I took the offer and booked and paid for a new laptop for $600, which he would order from inventory, and I would receive $150 for my old laptop (so eventually I paid $450). After a couple of hours, I called him and changed my order to get a different laptop for $500, because I didn't like what he was offering me for $600. To my surprise, he said he would change the order, but I won't get back the $100, instead that would remain as 'Store credit'. Yes, I need to keep a store credit in that tiny store where I hardly have anything to buy from ! Anyways, I had to agree...and after sometime when I called, he told I can get a 500 gb hard drive for the $100 credit ( which is actually $55 in Best Buy). I agreed anyway, and he said he would order that day itself. 1 week gone, no call from him. When I called, he said he ordered the item but didn't get it from inventory. Called him after 2 weeks, the same response. I asked if he can cancel the previous order, and re-order. He said he would do that. Called 3 more time in consecutive weeks, same story repeated - 'I re-ordered the day you told, haven't received it'. No further explanation, nor any intention to settle the thing. I stopped following up and never saw my $100 (or anything in exchange).
Whatever service you may wanna get from him that's fine, try to stay away from purchasing stuff !
