Supervisor/ employee Shawn/Shaun working at 6:15 5/22/19 was mad disrespectful when answering my questions. He came off angry and beligerant once he was told by the customer that the customer mistakingly dropped his phone into the table not knowing that the table caves out into a charger port upon the detection of motion.. Very disappointed with his servicse, This needs to be addressed.

If you are here to buy a new iPhone! Better buy online and collect..or of you have spare 2-3 hrs, come here.. people here know what to buy and have money in hand, yet have to wait for hours! Not sure why they have so much rush when the sales are so low!!! Probably they only sell couple of each day as o had to wait 2 hours each occasion!!

It took three hours to upgrade my iPhone, and the two people I interacted with either didn’t know Apple’s own payment plans fully or didn’t understand that I was simply trying to trade in my 6s for an Xs. The WiFi didn’t work when backing up my pictures due to all of the devices on their network, which is understandable. But this has been the worst experience I’ve had with this company and will avoid this store. Know your own payment plans. Understand what the customer is trying to do.

I just have to say that I was so impressed yesterday when my grandson and I visited your store to purchase a laptop. I envisioned a long wait and a push to get you in and out. Well was I surprised - your store is run like a well oiled machine. We were greeted and from there the process was smooth. We ordered and received the product we needed within minutes of decision. The sales associate was knowledgeable and truly seemed interested in my grandson's future. We then went over to the set up area where again the technician was knowledgeable and very helpful and he too seemed to care about Will's future at school. So thank you for allowing me to see and experience what Customer Service is all about.

My experience in Apple Store in Christiana Mall in Newark Delaware was incredibly depressing and wrong. I arrive and ask one of the employees if he worked there and he told me that not everyone laughed but me. I tell him that I want to trade my cell and he tells me that it is too late to backup the cell was 8:20 and I said I was waiting and he told me that if they gave 9 pm as they wanted, they would not do the trade and come tomorrow.I lets him know I'm from New Jersey and he told me that people were coming from Japan and China and they came by plane and I told him this is the good apple service. Will never shop this location again.. customer service skills are rude ... would not even take 5 minutes to look at my broken cracked phone to even see if apple care would cover it because I did not have a appointment and it was a hour before closing...really I don’t care if it’s 5 minutes before closing, no reason to be rude!!!! I understand I didn’t have a appointment but at least maybe let’s see if all your appointments show up instead of telling me “ sorry you’re out of luck” .. and apple care is a joke... pay your monthly fee and then when you need it wait 4 days for a available appointment to see if it’s covered ?? Then when you call the apple customer service they can’t help except to tell you that they will offer a loaner phone but only if you ask for it.. well why should I have to ask for it? Your rude associates should offer it ? So be prepared to seem like a bother to the associates there instead of a consumer

I was there for a children's class. I sat there for 1.5 hr while camp was in session and although some folks seem to be waiting unusually long I must say those employees really hustle and try to get everyone's needs addressed. You are always greeted at the door a d they are mostly very pleasant. I've seen folks send people with them out for snacks and you will definitely need a sweater but they do have lots of business.

I love this store, they seem to have a really large amount of employees for sales and working the floor, but when you need an iPhone technician, they are days out from being able to fit you in to their schedule. Applecare was very pricey when I purchased my iPhone 10s eleven months ago, and now that I need them, it’s such a hassle just to set up an appointment since they seem to be limited on technicians. They are the only apple store in the area, so I’m forced to schedule an appointment days away and miss work since they only have certain times available.

I happen to have heard that this store fired someone over doing their job. This someone made sure an item was paid for that a child had, because in this crazy world nowadays u never know and it's better to be safe then sorry. For some strange reason the parent complained that this employee didn't believe the CHILD so that employee was fired over it! Fired over a simple and honest question! That is horrible managing from this place! This store obviously does not value/ respect their employees or their rights! Instead of talking with that employee and letting them know what their mistake was and giving them a fair warning, allowing them to learn from it, (esp since they were a new employee) they just let them go. You obviously view your employees as numbers. This store will never get business from me or my family again and I will spread the word of your unfairness and lack of empathy!

Very big mall with all kinds of shopping centers and shops. Ideal for visiting specifically for a shopping trip. The parking lots are big and are mostly vacant so parking problems are not an issue.

Especially for two African Americans staff, who came for me and I asked them to explain the advantages for new Mac air and pro, they even knew less than I did!!! One conclusion: Apple is gone, it is not the apple before. I am running to buy a new Huawei pro, which is similar but 30% cheaper than the similar laptops for apple.

Madhouse is the only was to describe this store. Way too loud with people trying to talk over the music and extremely soft spoken staff that are hard to hear over all of the noise, even with them sitting right next to you. The only plus is they are well organized.

Always friendly, despite being consistently busy. Like all Apple stores, a slow day here looks overwhelmingly busy compared to most stores. Don't let that stop you. Well worth the visit in tax free Delaware. The key is a well struck balance between friendly help when needed and a self led shopping experience when desired. The only time you may have trouble finding someone to answer your questions or help you is maybe on the weekend, but even then, it's better then 99% of any other retail locations.

The Christiana mall store fixed my broken XS Max screen under AppleCare, hooked me up with an Apple battery case, and installed a tempered glass screen protector for me all in just over an hour. Great team and awesome support, this is what keeps me coming back to Apple!

was told I had a short in my MacBook Pro (2016), causing a “WiFi hardware not found error”. The associate also told me there was water damage...impossible. Anyway, i Was told the repair would be $150.00. I then received a call a week later stating that my Logic Board was broken which caused the WiFi error. Repair cost then became $600.00. I come to pick up my laptop and am told to wait at a table by an associate. He didn’t ask my name or for any info. After waiting a good deal I finally ask another associate for assistance again. She then takes my name and sends me back to the same table. FINALLY After a 30min wait, someone comes out with the laptop. Bad customer service and I honestly think this place is a cash grab. Good Luck!

You still have to wait awhile as an apple employee (I refuse to call them geniuses) notices you, then you wait as another employee "prepares " the order that was supposedly already ready. worst apple store. Went to fix my phone and their staff laughed at me and said: just buy a new one. I went there several times to fix my phone with average 2 hour wait time. What they did is reset and restore my phone and then told me it cannot be fix... I spend 1000 dollar on a phone and when it has problem, they just recommend you buy a new one. My phone has connection issue, and it was still usable, but after their restore, it turned into a brick. at the 3rd time I were there, finally a staff said I can spend $350 to get a “brand new” one. I accept the offer and when I arrived home, my husband searched the IMEI number, it has been activated half year ago which means it is a refurbished phone. I have to go back and argue, finally they gave me a new phone. Err. Also, I’ve been humiliated by their staff several times. For example, one guy ask me why I came to this apple store, I said I bought my phone here, he said come on because it is tax free right, if you trying to get this benefit, then you have to take others here. I asked you cannot say that I need to talk to your manager he replied I am the manager.

Here is my review.. 1. I had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to buy iPhone on normal day working day.. 2. The associate didn't even had interested in explaining me anything.. seems like you buy what you want. I don't want to offer other things.. I was really surprised to see this kind of behavior.. he didn't even told us about protection plan or nothing.. otherwise in other store associate always explain other plans and alternatives. 3. They knew its Thanksgiving season.. why not have more people working.. Every customer was annoyed standing in line to buy item worth of $1000. That is after Thanksgiving where you won't get any deals.. we all got tired standing in line for no reason and lost all joy of buying item.. it was like now get items and sit somewhere. On top of that We got this associate who made situation worst. I know Apple has Monopoly for their products, this doesn't mean that you just take customers for granted.. i hope store manager is reading this review.. its legacy of Steve jobs and Tim cooks thats build this company..

STAY AWAY. Stopped in to buy a Macbook for my daughter on the way home from vacation. Was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes. Staff were knowledgeable and professional. Went back to car and $2,000 of bicycles were stolen from the bike rack on my car. They were all locked together with a Master cable lock. Mall security refereed me to the Del. State Police station (wonder why it's there) hidden in the back of JCPenny. Trooper told me this happens all the time from the kids coming on the bus from the city. STAY AWAY. Order online or go to another store.

I've been a customer here for years and have had my good and my bad experiences with this store. For instance, this store seems to be busy and packed nonstop. I've gotten here early in the morning and later in the day and no matter what, always busy. I attribute that to the fact that this is the only Apple Store in Delaware and we are tax-free. Overall, a very modern store. I remember what it used to look like and post-renovation, it looks great. The staff is as knowledgeable as possible. That being said, there are some employees there (the last time I was there) that can be seen walking around not pulling as much weight as the other employees in the store. That might be a management problem or it might just be the employees are having an off day. The store could be a lot better though in several ways. I wouldn't allow the store to get so packed that you can only stand around when needing service for your device. At least a line outside the store or something or an outside sitting area for customers who have a long wait. Because those waiting for service are using up as much space on the sales floor as possible and that entire part of the store is not separate from anything else. It's just at the farthest end of the store. One last thing: if we are waiting for however long, at least have some music over the speakers or something to create some ambiance instead of having to hear customers and employees discuss a potential purchase.

Went to the Apple store due to my phone acting up. Everyone there was extremely helpful, although they could have more comfortable seating. I had to go back a second time with the same issue and they made sure before I left the problem was solved. Just one of the reasons why I love Apple products, their technical support is awesome.

I have been a loyal customer to Apple for the past 10 years. I have an expectation from Apple based on past experiences that they will always have great customer service. Howeve, I must inform someone that my experience tonight was distasteful and heartbreaking. I arrived at the Apple store in christiana Mall in Delaware at 8:40pm to be informed that they are closed. However, the store hours are set until 9:00pm. I was informed by the worker that they could not allow me and my friend to enter the store because they could not take anymore customers , because they do not have anymore workers to service us. I said to him we drove and hour away to purchase headphones from this store and he said to us “ well I guess you should come back tomorrow when we open” He then brought over a manager who said “sorry we are closed and we don’t have any AirPods in stock”. I was in disbelief because I did not believe that to be true ; they did not want us in the store and the closing time was not until 9pm. I am completely unsatisfied with Apple customer service and considering switching all of my 12 different products and converting to Samsung. This is totally unacceptable, not sure if it was because I was African -American that I was not allowed in the door or exactly what the problem was.

I accidentally damaged the lense cover of my brand new Xr IPhone. I scheduled an appointment with the store so that a “technician” could take a look and repair it. The “technician” barely even glanced at the damage and quoted me $499 for a new phone. He said that they couldn’t replace the lense cover because the whole camera assembly would need to be replaced after the phone was disassembled. A bold faced lie! I put the phone under a microscope at work and removed the broken glass and residual adhesive. I purchased a replacement lense cover for $9 and replaced it. Fixed for $9!!!!! Be aware that this store is all about screwing over the customer for a dollar!!!! I will never return to this store.

I had to have my battery changed in my IPhone! The store is great! Very busy but employees are knowledgeable about their products! Nice to see employees taking pride in their work! However, I was disappointed with Apple for this reason- I called to schedule a time to have my battery changed out because of updates that Apple made & was told they had to order that battery & it would take 2-5 weeks to come in!! Are you kidding??! Slow boat from China or what?!? It only took a week. Got an appointment the day I called & battery installation took about 40 min! Store itself is awesome but calling the help line.... they need work there! Love my iPhones though!!

Bought 4 iPhones, 2- iPhone X S Max, 2 X-R iPhones, from my cellular carrier, AT&T, did my transfer to my new phones and than one of the iPhones X S Max stopped working after only 45 minutes. Went to to AT&T to have them check it out, was told that per Apple policy, that my only option was for us to drive to closest apple store with the Genius Bar. That is 90 miles one way. At the Apple store Was told that they would not be able to replace the phone, they had to send it out to be evaluated. This could take a week or more. Than would decide to fix or replace. Was given a older phone as a loaner, iPhone 8. Not even equal value. Also means another 90 mile one way trip to pick up our phone and return loaner. What happened to the customer service we use to get from Apple..... No consideration for our time or our money.. I have had iPhones since the first iPhone came out.... this might be my last.

I can't tell how disappointed I am in the Apple Store in Christiana 4/26/18 for to replace my Iphone Lightning Cable or (Charging cable) where insulation is ripped off due to that its not working and even I have apple care and I bought my phone no longer than 6 months I showed him the purchase receipt. Manager simple replied Lightning Cable can't be replaced. Manager told me buy a new cable I didn't expect that from him.

One last thing: if we are waiting for however long, at least have some music over the speakers or something to create some ambiance instead of having to hear customers and employees discuss a potential purchase.

Went to the Apple store due to my phone acting up. Everyone there was extremely helpful, although they could have more comfortable seating. I had to go back a second time with the same issue and they made sure before I left the problem was solved. Just one of the reasons why I love Apple products, their technical support is awesome.

I have been a loyal customer to Apple for the past 10 years. I have an expectation from Apple based on past experiences that they will always have great customer service. Howeve, I must inform someone that my experience tonight was distasteful and heartbreaking. I arrived at the Apple store in christiana Mall in Delaware at 8:40pm to be informed that they are closed. However, the store hours are set until 9:00pm. I was informed by the worker that they could not allow me and my friend to enter the store because they could not take anymore customers , because they do not have anymore workers to service us. I said to him we drove and hour away to purchase headphones from this store and he said to us “ well I guess you should come back tomorrow when we open” He then brought over a manager who said “sorry we are closed and we don’t have any AirPods in stock”. I was in disbelief because I did not believe that to be true ; they did not want us in the store and the closing time was not until 9pm. I am completely unsatisfied with Apple customer service and considering switching all of my 12 different products and converting to Samsung. This is totally unacceptable, not sure if it was because I was African -American that I was not allowed in the door or exactly what the problem was.

I accidentally damaged the lense cover of my brand new Xr IPhone. I scheduled an appointment with the store so that a “technician” could take a look and repair it. The “technician” barely even glanced at the damage and quoted me $499 for a new phone. He said that they couldn’t replace the lense cover because the whole camera assembly would need to be replaced after the phone was disassembled. A bold faced lie! I put the phone under a microscope at work and removed the broken glass and residual adhesive. I purchased a replacement lense cover for $9 and replaced it. Fixed for $9!!!!! Be aware that this store is all about screwing over the customer for a dollar!!!! I will never return to this store.

I had to have my battery changed in my IPhone! The store is great! Very busy but employees are knowledgeable about their products! Nice to see employees taking pride in their work! However, I was disappointed with Apple for this reason- I called to schedule a time to have my battery changed out because of updates that Apple made & was told they had to order that battery & it would take 2-5 weeks to come in!! Are you kidding??! Slow boat from China or what?!? It only took a week. Got an appointment the day I called & battery installation took about 40 min! Store itself is awesome but calling the help line.... they need work there! Love my iPhones though!!

The Manager Shawn or Sean that was working 6:15PM on 5-22-19 is super mean the table broke , and my phone fell and cracked and he didn’t want to hear me out just say no he’s not going to do anything about it what so ever.... As for shack he was fantastic !!!

Worst customer service in any industry!! Waiting more than 45 minutes just to buy their product. Half the employees are walking around with pads putting people on a waiting list . Why not put half of the to work with customers! I hope my wife loves this gift..

Bought 4 iPhones, 2- iPhone X S Max, 2 X-R iPhones, from my cellular carrier, AT&T, did my transfer to my new phones and than one of the iPhones X S Max stopped working after only 45 minutes. Went to to AT&T to have them check it out, was told that per Apple policy, that my only option was for us to drive to closest apple store with the Genius Bar. That is 90 miles one way. At the Apple store Was told that they would not be able to replace the phone, they had to send it out to be evaluated. This could take a week or more. Than would decide to fix or replace. Was given a older phone as a loaner, iPhone 8. Not even equal value. Also means another 90 mile one way trip to pick up our phone and return loaner. What happened to the customer service we use to get from Apple..... No consideration for our time or our money.. I have had iPhones since the first iPhone came out.... this might be my last.

Rest is fine but some managers just do nothing then just hang around. They don’t solve any customer probs. Worst manager ever came across. Also never buy online and pick up at store. Your order will be at managers mercy.
