I had a very good experience with PCW recently. I dropped off my iMac to get a hard drive replacement/upgrade and was told that it might be 7-10 days before it would be done and that they had to send it to their store in Orange. I was a bit wary about it having to get sent off and not too thrilled about the wait but decided to give them a shot anyways. I got a call less than 2 days later saying that it was ready!! It is in perfect working order and I have had no problems at all! I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to repair or upgrade an older Mac (the Apple store doesn't do work on machines 5 years or older) and the price was very fair. Thanks!

I had a not so helpful experience with this company. Brought a laptop with a broken hinge to have repaired. Guy gave me the price. No problem. Week later called me up said he cannot fix it, parts not available like it was no big deal. Picked it up and charged me 35 bucks for basically wasting my time and the monitor now had a scratch on it from poor handling. I can understand if it was a few days or so but a week. also 35 dollar charge for what. And a nice scratch to boot. Oh well typical customer service.

They're a really good computer place. I had virus on my computer they fixed it and after a week i dropped my lap top which ruined the hard drive. They fixed the hard drive for free with no additional charge because i was there a week earlier. Thank you guys, will recommend them if you live around the Hartford area.

I usually don't write reviews, and I feel bad for writing a bad review for an independent store, but I was left unhappy with my service. My iPhone screen cracked and I brought it in for a replacement. They told me to come back the next day to pick it up. When I came back, the touch ID did not work (which they repaired on-site). I left happy. The next day, I noticed a crack underneath my screen and lost the ability to touch most of the screen. Apparently they put on a defective screen (well, things happen) so I brought it back. They told me to come back the next day and they'd check with the owner to see if it was covered. I bring it back the next morning (my 4th trip to this store at this point) and they replaced the screen. When I got it back, the home button did not work at all. How can you replace the screen and not give it a basic functional test? When I'd picked it up, they told me that the technician who replaced it had already left and I'd have to come in the next morning. So, on my 5th trip to the store, I finally pick up my iPhone with a working home button. The touch ID does not work (annoying, but at this point I'll take whatever I can get) and about 33% of the time, when I open it up, the phone does not register my touches correctly and it types the wrong buttons on the keyboard. Everyone in the store was friendly, but this was pretty poor service.

I am so glad that I trusted the word of mouth about PCW. They were professional and personable. They were also very patient with me. I had many questions. When a brand new issue comes up, I want to feel informed and comfortable about the solution. I was. As most other folks feel, my computer is incredibly important to me. PCW fully understands that. It gets better; I got it back much earlier than predicted and the cost was less than originally quoted. I only wish they taught classes for Mac users for advanced creative applications!

I had a broken laptop for 2 years and I have been trying so hard to find the perfect place to fix it and I found PCW and they made it brand new. I had no problems with customer service and it was fixed in approximately 5 days. I am very pleased

Not a people,s person place. It is understood that some of the computer people don´t care about other humans, but this is the place where you can actually see it first hand and feel it. They install a wrong software in your pc, they know it, but still charge you to fix it. at that point where they tell you on the phone, either you accept and pay or who knows what they can do with your info. not to recommend.
