He is quick and very knowledgeable and actually tries to keep his billing time to a minimum, he will even fix problems over the phone instead of charging for visits if he can. I had a problem with the trackpad on a 15" MacBook Pro late 2011 and they said it was the case pressing up on the trackpad. So, they replaced the entire case of the laptop.It worked. The only complaint was that they ask if you want your hard drive backed up for a price which I don't remember, but I don't think that would be something you pay for it just should be standard because that is what good service is. Overall, they knew that they were doing and can be trusted for getting the job done.

I can not recommend MacWorks highly enough. We had a terrible situation in which all of our emails/contacts appeared gone from our computer system. We contacted online support for Outlook. We spent an hour and were devastated when told the data was missing -- 5000+ emails/contacts. Out of desperation we decided to see if it had to do with our Apple. We called MacWorks and were met with a high level of professionalism. They identified the problem and fixed it remotely for us. Furthermore, without our even asking, they suggested ways for us to better set-up our system so it would be more stable. We will definitely directly contact MacWorks next time for any computer-related issue.

Jerry Zigmont of MacWorks saved my files today when I thought they were lost forever!!! After my computer crashed and started flashing the dreaded question mark (meaning the hard drive was probably dying and, in any event, was definitely unreachable), I immediately checked my back-up portable drive using my husband’s computer to make sure all my data were there; they weren’t! Turns out my back-up drive hadn’t been backing up for the past year; yikes. I then googled “mac tech help in connecticut” in a panic. Although I was unfamiliar with MacWorks, I choose them because they were Mac specialists — and they made house calls. Even though I was calling on a Saturday, I got a call back within 2 hours, and a same-day tech appointment that afternoon. I knew my situation was dire and the chances of getting my files off the iMac pretty slim, but I felt more optimistic as soon as I met Jerry at the door. And then I was positively giddy once I saw him in action. He not only magically resurrected my wobbly hard drive and saved my data, but he got my back-up working correctly again and gave me invaluable advice for the future. While the hard drive on my early 2009 iMac will have to be replaced soon, at least I didn’t lose the irreplaceable photos and files. MacWork’s prices are very reasonable; MacWork’s results are priceless.
