We went to Best Buy to buy a smart TV, but ended up buying a Roku device to make our working TV "smart" per the advice of Robert Mota, System Designer. Robert thoroughly explained how to hook it up, and use the remote to access whatever we wanted to watch. Robert was excellent and a true professional. So glad we went to Best Buy instead of Walmart

Best Buy has overpriced items as always but when you need stuff in a pinch this place is not bad. Got my Swann home surveillance system from here and works nice. Otherwise the other place I go to if I need stuff is Microcenter which has good prices and extensive inventory.

Horrific experience trying to purchase cell phone. Three weeks and counting since ordering a phone that was supposedly in stock. That order was inexplicably canceled and it's been another couple of weeks since I placed the second order...still no phone while my Verizon upgrade is tied up so I can't purchase the phone elsewhere! Trips to the store and hours on the phone and still no phone! I will never buy anything at Best Buy again, and I am an Elite Plus member spending thousands of dollars every year. I'm done!

Located next to Concord Mall. Excellent stock and selection of latest electronic and electrical appliances and gadgets. One of the best selection of home appliances. Has an excellent Magnolia centre. Do listen to the B&W speaker setup with the Denon AVR's and it will be 30minutes well spent for any audiophile. The guy in charge of the Magnolia centre is very helpful and explains the set up in detail. Impressive floor space. And icing on the cake is Delaware is tax free. There's lot of parking space next to the mall area.

I am an electronic dinosaur. On VERY short notice I needed to put together components to live stream an event from the sanctuary of our church to the flat screen TV in the downstairs "church hall" to accommodate an over-flow crowd and ♿ attendees. AND, it needed to be done on a very limited budget. A pleasant, knowledgeable, and VERY PATIENT young man listened to what we wanted to do. I wasn't even sure if it COULD be done -- but he assured me that is WAS possible. He put together a small video camera that had audio, a light-weight tripod, a USB cord, and a SIM card -- and I actually DO know what those are. When I assured him that I wasn't going to try to assemble it myself and a bona fide geek was going to help me -- LOL -- he put a "a bunch of stuff" in a bag: 2 kinds of little cables, several little connectors, a little tool set, plus other mystery items. I was still asking "how to" questions and he said, "Ma'm, just give everything to your geek - it will be fine. I hope your event is a success. THANKS for shopping at Best Buy" -- and he disappeared. Perhaps an angel?? The total cost was about 1/2 of what I was told to expect. Our on-site geek was very impressed. We had EVERYTHING we needed -but not one extra add-on. Our event was a fantastic success. THANKS, Best Buy! God bless!!

Came in today (7/12/19) to get the new samsung galaxy s10+. Currently have a special going on. Had to switch from prepaid to a contract so I can make payments on it. Unfortunately I had to change my number so that's gunna be a hassle to update everything with that number and notify everyone. But it is what it is. Amanda the supervisor at the cell phone department helped me out and she did a fantastic job. Very friendly and courtious and knows her stuff. Excellent experience today. Thank you! The staff at each specific different section are quite helpful, but when he is not sure about availability of an item he would send you to the customer service. This is when problems would arise, because the customer service staff are well trained only for limited task, such as for returns etc., and is not willing to help when asked to check on availability of an item which is not available on the display. My experience was she (the customer staff) sent me back to where I came from without even want to listen to what I actually needed.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Went here to get a new cell phone for my son and I. The only person that greeted us was the guy at security. There were 4 people working in the cellphone area and they all ignored us. I left and bought the phones from the Verizon store up the street. They lost an $1800.00 sale.

Went the other day and I kept having this feeling but wasn't sure what it was...after about 20 minutes it hit me. I felt as if I was in a car dealership. I was approached by 6 sales people in 20 minutes. Finally made a purchase and asked if they made commission and was informed they did not....???? Plus, the place is way overpriced. We went into Bestbuy on RT 202 in WILMINGTON De. We were looking to buy a home theater system. We Stood around waiting for almost 45 minutes for someone to ask us if we needed help. We even asked someone if they could get us some help. Nobody showed up, we were blasting music trying to get somebody to come over. And again nobody showed up. This was completely unprofessional. Never again will I shop at Best Buy. I will now just buy online.

Less than helpful, especially the car audio department. Went to flash a module that I bought from them and they refused to flash even though I offered to pay. They said that they only do full installations and could help me out with a few clicks. Even the manager in charge was less than helpful telling me to just get a full install and did not try to help. These guys are useless, and I would rather go literally anywhere else to get help.

Good selection of UHD movies, games, and camera stuff. TVs are ok, the sales staff are a little pushy. I've gotten some good open box specials as well, but the floor model TVs aren't a good deal when they sell them to bring in the new models. Often not much less than a newer better one with no burn in or missing manuals.

They do not take things back after 30 days to computers spent around $800 to $1,000 neither work nothing but problems they were HP products. Best Buy will not do a darn thing. Bought a new laptop online. Easy as pie. No BS, no salesman, no hassle. In, pick up and done, only a cursory question on added service package. No push. Took all of 5 minutes. Then I walked around and picked up a couple of things. Thanks Best Buy for the pleasant experience. You certainly understand that brick and mortar stores are dinosaurs and you have to make the experience pleasant, or we ain't walking in the door.

The store is not organized well... Very difficult to find things. Also they sold us a Samsung tablet but had absolutely no accessories (as in a cover or screen protector) for it available in store...a young saleswoman rationalized it by saying "there are so many types of tablets out there that it would be impossible to carry accessories for all of them"...ok, agreed... But how about you sell accessories for the few you DO sell in the store?

The watch was exactly I wanted. Best Buy salesman was very courteous. If the salesperson & Best Buy wanted to extend the sale of another item you should have custom Apple Watch bands. I had to go to EBay to get the band I wanted. The Original band is to Easy to rip off your wrist. To easy to steal the watch with original band.

Buyer be aware! Not even Best Buy can dispute this The truth about Best Buy is that they have 15 day policy on returns, exchanges and price protection. These policies is what ultimately is going to cause them to go bankrupt. This is a place where you'll pay more and after 15 days you will be stuck with the product- even if the item is still sealed and unopened ... Most competitors have better price protection, exchange and return policies. It's time to take your money to those places

I dropped my laptop off to get fixed, since it was still under warranty. I was told that it would take no more than a month to get it fixed. I got an email with a track device status link, and it helped me get an idea of how quickly I would get my device back from the Geek Squad. I did not get an email letting me know when my device was ready for pickup or a phone call. I checked the link and noticed it said ready for pick-up so I called to confirm. I was put on hold and then told I would get a call back. After almost a week of waiting for a call or email I decided to stop at the store. The lady who helped apologized for the lack of communication and was just great. The actual staff was very friendly and helpful which is the only reason I'm giving 4-stars. Just know that you may have to call and go in person to the store to verify something is ready for pick up, and don't forget to bring and ID or the pick-up papers.

Love the Geek Squad I know people love Amazon but it is so nice to have live in person tech help. I bought a Surface and there was a Microsoft specialist to help me. The Geeks put a solid state drive in my old Toshiba laptop and now it runs like a charm. The tech help from the sales staff and the Geeks is much appreciated!

Horrible . Was sold incorrect speaker for my TV .You cant get thru to store directly. Took 22 mins . to get thru a national number n they were no help. Finally just went back to store n returned it. Do not under any circumstances use Best Buy for any appliances. Never had to write a review like this, but we just had a horrible, 8 week nightmare after buying a microwave from them. We ordered the microwave in early December. 1) The first delivery date came, my wife called out from work to be home. They never showed, because it wasn't in stock. OK, problems happen. 2) We call and reschedule. The team that arrives to install has to borrow a piece of scrap 2x4 to install the microwave (what?) overtightens the install bending the frame, and inadvertently drills into the fan, so that when the microwave run, it sounds like someone stuck a knife in a fan blade. Also, if you turn on the vent, now pieces of sawdust fly in the air because he jammed up our vent with wood shavings. If you turn on the vent, you get 2x4 in your food. Of course they left without testing anything of this. 3) 15 minutes after they leave, we discover how messed up everything is. Call back. Next appointment scheduled. 4) Next team arrives (third day off so far) and they come in while one person unloads the truck, the other guy comments how horrible the install is. Second guy comes in and says 'you're not going to be happy - but when we left we saw that the box was dented in, and sure enough, it's dented on the side of microwave'. He recommends we refuse it. So we do. 5) Another day off (fourth so far). As they were on their way, they called to confirm that we had the microwave, cause they didn't have one. (We didn't have one.) 6) Random person says they'll call us with the next scheduling date. We never hear anything. 7) Call to complain. On hold for 20 minutes. Get Best Buy employee, they have to call the store and talk to a manager. On hold for 35 minutes. They incorrectly write up that they took the original microwave back instead of the dented one. (at least it wasn't the original one.) Say they will refund, which is the first gppd thing I hear. 8) Best buy refunds me $10.08 9) Get a random email that Best Buy is coming the next day (we're not scheduled to be off work for the 5th time though.) 10) Call local Best Buy and ask for a manager. Get hung up on. Call national Best Buy to explain the mess. Get disconnected. 11) Call back, furious to high heaven. They say how can they pick it up when you don't have it? I explain that I do, because I'm an honest person.. he says, oh, well I can cancel this one, and earliest I can schedule a pickup is two weeks from now on a Saturday or I can take it back to the store myself. OMG! I've wasted four days off of work, and $350+. I will take it back, but I know they're going to give me grief. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Was sent to Best Buy by Verizon for z glass protection cover for my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Best Buy said Verizon didn't know what they were doing, because they don't carry anything I can use for my old phone.My glass screen has several cracks in it where I am getting glass splinters in my fingers. Offered no help.

She helped me find the color, the size and even helped me put together the jeans that would give me the best discount and incorporate the Old Navy discount. Big, typically crowded store. Helpful staff; I think greetings are mandatory but the staff are not pushy. Check store inventory online if you know what you are going to buy. In this store, just because it's on sale does not mean they have it on the shelf. Don't be the guy that walks away disappointed, like me.

The only bad thing is that I bought a radio and was going to wire it myself (which I did successfully) and when I had questions about the wiring kits and brackets the employee that helped me didn't know much about it. What a JOKE this place is. I bought a TV on Jan 29, and the picture was horrible. so i went to the store picked up a better TV and placed a return on the one they delivered. The returned TV was picked up on Feb 5th, and here it is February 25 and they have not credited me with anything. I have been on hold for an hour. Some kid name Josh picks up and doesn't help me, but just transfers me eventually back to himself. I will NEVER spend a dime here again. I just spent over 2k on my TV (which i am now returning as well) and was going to spend well over 1500 on my surround sound. PC Richards will now get all of my business.

We were on vacation from FL and a piece of my sister's dj equipment died and we needed a specific part. I should preface this by saying I understand where they were coming from. But the way they handled it was insane. I had a friend, a foreign national, with me, who was there to spend a LOT of money on a lot of different things. I understand that I look like a punk. We were walking around shopping, and grabbed drinks from the cooler. Refreshed ourselves while shopping. literally as we are shopping minding our own business, we get approached by like 5 people on some LP! Over two beverages! We were actively shopping. They cornered us and demanded we pay for the drinks right then and there, even though we had more things to pay for. I recieved serious attitude when asked if I could settle up on other items, and again when I asked for a bag to put my now empty beverage in. They were literally so demeaning. The sales associate "just following orders" knew how stupid the situation was, but that doesn't change it. The simple fact that the black shirts had him that scared to say a word just goes to reflect the garbage culture of that location. Never had a service issue there before, so I really hope this was just for an LP training session or something. They're lucky it was just me and my friend who doesn't speak English. It was absolutely absurd. I will actually not patronize this location again unless forced to. I feel as though I should have made a much bigger scene.

Unfortunately the employee I had to deal with had serious attitude issues. I checked in for an online pickup that generally took less than 3 minutes in the past. Half an hour after I scanned my order pick up code and provided identification proof and I still didn't received my product. When asked nicely that this is taking way longer than it should , instead of any sort of apology or an acknowledgement, the response I got was :- "yes we are working on it" . Come on , have some decency of accepting that there is a delay in the process and have some sympathy on wasting 30 mins of your customer's time. I understand this is a one off behaviour but wanted to share my particular experience.

Best Buy - What can you say? The store is huge, the staff is plentiful and helpful. The access was easy in and out. I was able to lay hands of a few products and my intent to purchase was stalled when I could see a few other options. I left w/ a need for more info, did my research, and returned to make a purchase. I have made many purchases at this location and recently I have used the online purchase/pickup in store.. On one and only one occasion did it work smoothly. On more than ONE occasion I have been spoken "down to" by an associate, have had associates who were outright rude, and one associate who gave false information about the computer I was looking at purchasing. I have reached a point where unless an item is on sale substantially enough to justify the rudeness, lack of knowledge, and lack of floor presence for associates when you actually do need them, I will buy it somewhere else or find a competitor even if it's slightly more money.

It's a Best Buy and I always find these stores not logical in their layout. Nevertheless, they do have a large selection of stuff and plenty of parking, free of course. They're pretty easy to get to. I haven't been in other Best Buys that were any better as they don't make the checkout process easy. It's like three people at a time have to take care of each customer and none of the cashiers seem to know exactly what they're doing. Oh well.

I tried to buy an iphone up front from here. The man working the desk tried to put my password in 3x and said he needed a pin for a verification code. After he clicked a few things he had changed my Verizon account password on my phone and locked himself out of the account on his computer so I couldn’t get the upgrade without waiting 30 minutes. My password hasn’t changed in over 10 years and Verizon said it cannot be changed back and I’m upset he didn’t inform me what he was doing. Also I went to sit on a customer stool and there was sprite soda all over it. The whole purchase was a nightmare and I highly would not recommend this store.

My experience buying a washer and dryer at Best Buy was not good at all. We spent tons of money on a new washer and dryer with a stack kit along with hoses and a dryer vent kit. Delivery was scheduled on a Wednesday 12-6. I took off work that day to be there for the delivery. When the delivery arrives, driver is rude and he tells me once he gets there that he does not have a stack kit in his truck. Tells me it is all the warehouse’s fault and he cannot do a thing. We asked for him to at least install the washer. He then left our house without saying a word and left all of our doors and back gate open. I went into Best Buy afterwards to inquire why stack kit was not on the van and I could not have my appliances installed. Told me they will schedule me for Monday at the earliest and will try to push me in for Saturday and will put in for me to get some type of compensation. Also said someone would give me a call the next day to make sure everything was still good. I got no call the next day, just an email saying my installation is schedule for Monday for 12-6, which I never said I actually could do. Very disappointed in customer service. No one cared there if I was happy or not. Never going to Best Buy again.

Generally I don't have a problem with Best Buy, but my last couple of experiences were a little lackluster. First I needed a new cellphone. I spent some time looking at them and talked to a representative. He knew which ones I was torn between and gave me some time to think about it. When I made my decision, he told me that they don't have that one in stock. I asked about the other one and he told me that one wasn't stock either. When I bought say this, I can don't mean he checked the computer and found this out. He literally knew this of the top of his head Seriouslyold this could have been told to me before I spent time thinking about which one I wanted. I also had a problem with a gift card I ordered online for my son for Christmas. The only reason I ordered it online was that they said they could ship it to me in two days. The day it was supposed to arrive, I received an email stating that it was delayed. So I went to the store and they told me that I could buy one there, but they could not cancel my order. Seriously!!! You are the same company this should be seamless. So I bought the gift card at the store and on the way home received an email that the one that was delayed just shipped. Taking things in stride, I decided the other one could be for my other son Well, shipped is kind of an overstatement. They created a label. UPS didn't pick it up for another week... And then UPS flubbed the delivery (Not Best Buy's fault, but it didn't help the experience). I finally got the gift card last Friday (after I got home from looking at cell phones they didn't have in stock). I gave it to my son. He went to redeem it and it didn't work. Checked with the online store and they informed me the card was never activated In hindsight, i should have known better, but I went to the store to get this resolved and, you guessed it, they couldn't help me since I ordered it from the online store. All in all, I do like Best Buy and I have had other good experiences there. That is why I only dinged them two stars. Because 3 stars is supposed to be average, and the overall service I receive from them is average. Just know this, if you order anything from them online and have a problem, don't bother with the local store. They are literally helpless.

If you research products online and make a purchase decision, best to order for Online Pickup, especially for smaller electronics and accessories (may want to physically hold/view larger purchases). Had several instances of doing research only to find the item impossible to locate or out of stock once in the store. Best advice I received from an in-store assistant, who could not locate my intended item (phone screen protector), was to use my phone, go online and order for pickup. I did that, went for a coffee at nearby Barnes & Nobel, and then strolled back to BB to pick-up my item.

A 5 star experience. I couldn't find what I needed, but I met, probably the two of their best employees. One of their floor workers, and the manager of their auto installation group. Both were very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to try to resolve my issue. I would drive again from PA to the DE store if I had an issue. My only regret is that I didn't get their names, but they both deserve a raise. Listen up, Best Buy.

The one star was up for the sales man I had, Mike Nunez, in Danbury CT. location, very good, knowledgeable. I would never shop again at best buy, the worst customer service. Bought 4 appliances, had a 6 hour window for delivery, 10 minutes before they were to deliver, they called and told me they had to reschedule, 10 minutes, I thought I heard wrong. Over a week to get them and over 6 weeks for the fridge. Outrageous!!! Never did I get a sorry, the manager, total idiot. I asked do I at least get to keep the $ gift card and they said No because I cancelled the order NO that it was a promotion, I told them well, that certainly is a incentive to come shop at your store again.

General employees were kind, but one of the managers was a little curt and didn't seem to care whether or not he had our business. After spending thousands of dollars in appliances and technology in this store, we were surprised and irritated at how he behaved, abrupt and rude. Other than him, the quality of the products we've purchased were stellar, and the geek squad has been very helpful in fixing all of my technology in the past. I don't recall the person's name, but he was an kitchen appliance manager, and our interaction with him left a very sour taste in our mouths. I still recommend the store- hopefully you don't run into him.
