I had one good experience there (technician fixed my screen cover on my iPhone and did it very quickly) and one very bad experience (had to wait an hour for an appointment for an obvious battery problem and after a few tests, the technician tried to sell me a new iPhone and never fixed my problem). Disappointing. Not sure if its the luck of the draw or if the store has a problem finding and training good technicians.

Worst experience ever. My iphone X that i did not have for a year yet front screen stop swipping so i call apple and they said to bring it in so i did and they gentlemen at the store said i need a whole new phone that they can not fix the front digitizer screen because the back screen was cracked and that a whole new phone would cost $550, after just spending $1100 not even a year ago and phone is still under warranty. I could understand if he wanted to charge me to fix the back but he said its not fixable. Smh

We made appointment waited more than 2 hrs They kept bypassing us because they couldn’t pronounce our name. Horrible service Have been here 4 times to have them fix AirPod chargers. They have too many employees walking around pretending to help but they don’t do other than book appointments. They need to train people for customer service

Once again the Trumbull Apple store disappoints. I arrived at about 10:05 am this snowy morning to hopefully have my keyboard cleaned/vacuumed to unstick my space bar. I was told it was a 3 hour wait. There was nothing they could do as all appointments were booked and they were short of technicians. There were at least 20 red shirted Apple employees in the store and about 5 customers. I should have asked for a manager but didn't. This is my 3rd unsatisfactory visit to this Apple Store. ( wrong info when purchasing my iphone 6plus and excessively long wait for a sales person when purchasing a device for my mother).Seems the Stamford Apple store has a consistently higher level of customer care and I will have to drive those extra miles. Trumbull team you need to step up your game.

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable employees. !!BUT!! the seem to always seem forced to prioritize the apple first before the customer. in my case i use my phone for business and when my iPhone has obvious issues that they're last option is a device swap, they will always like to enforce the most time consuming approach for the consumer/customer before resolving the issue with repairs or sending the devises offsite to get repaired or inspected with out a guaranteed ETA. They will always make it seem like if the apple devices come with problems under warranty it must be the customers fault or they believe it can always be fixed with a software update or master reset of the device after running diagnostics. MY MAIN POINT HERE IS IF YOU KNOW THE DEVICE HAS PROBLEMS PLEASE EXPECT A VERY LONG WAIT OTHER THAN GETTING A QUICK REPLACEMENT, EVEN IF YOU USE YOUR APPLE PRODUCTS FOR BUSINESS USE OR PERSONAL

I wish I could give 0 stars. There are 20 apple employees here but only about 3 people that look like they actually know what they're doing. We even set up an appointment time but the employees here are cowards and are afraid to even look at us or check in to see how we are doing. Walked in the door and had 2 employees refer us to the check in manager and we've been sitting here for a half hour now with now indication of when we will be helped. My wife needs to buy a new Mac pro and they're about to lose 2k... this is why I'm writing this on a Samsung. Ugh.

Called mutiple times to try and see how busy, was hung up on serval Times, decided to drive all the way down only to hear there are no more Mac technicians available today. Would never recommend going to this horrible Apple store. 0/10 wouldn’t even give 1 star if it was a option complete utter waste of time

The use to be the best in CT when the lady was the manager. Right now , they are the worst and most disrespectful staff except for some which are nice. Macbook Genius Bar are the worst of all, they dont want to do anything but reseting and testing, otherwise they will refer you to one of the authrized retailer. Everything is out of their scope. They laugh on you if you ask them to explain and if they notice that you know what you are talking about they will just make your life hell and send you to New haven or Stamford apple store !!! Managment are doing so bad lately and so rude. If you leave feedback they dont get back to you.

I used to love apple, it used to be my first choice among all other phones, but unfortunately apple let me down after I used to recommend everyone to buy iPhone and change from other brands to iPhones cause I used to see as the best of the best. I bought like 6 iPhones from apple each one of them after few months start having issues either with the touch screen or motherboard or whatever they call it and sometimes with speakers. I don’t wanna deal with iPhones any more, especially after my last iPhone which I have problem with the board I went to the store to fix it, the guy said no it can’t be fixed and you have to buy a new one. I told him can you at least ask the maintenance technicians he said no no I know what the problem and your only choice is to buy a new one!!! Seriously... what type of custom service is that and what kind of phone that it’s company can’t fix it... iPhone sucks

I really despise dis honest people. I went in to get my phone fixed and had to buy a new phone. I couldn't pay the full amount up front so I had to do installments. The girl Amy that was the sale rep was very pleasant but dishonest because she didn't tell me in order for me to do the installments that I would have to apply for a loan through citizens bank. She wouldn't let me read contract that I was accepting she was just scrolling through. I work at bank and you have to be truthful when it comes to lending. I was really annoyed to find out there was a hard inquiry to my credit score. I wanted to get a new car and now I have to wait six months to a year now to get my car.

I understand the Apple presentation concept however if a client walks in knowing exactly what they want and ask for that specific item and they narrow it down to size and color why would you have them sitting there waiting for 15-20 minutes before you get them the item and take them through a check out. Your sales people may know their product but have no concept as to what selling is. I made a comment about an item being priced too high and the sales person told me and I quote "you don't have to buy it" how arrogant can you get? My computer, my tablet, my phone and my watch are apple products...thats not how you keep clients.

What's with their store phone??? I called three times this morning (during business hours), and each time I was first connected to a voice automated system which eventually said they would get a customer service person and then the phone system proceeded to on hold for at least 15 minutes before I hung up. I never did get to speak with anyone so I'm in the dark about the thing that I want to buy. I need to buy it today, and I don't want to ship it so that's not an option. I just want to buy an iPad as a gift and want to know if it's in stock in the store. You'd think they would be more concerned about lost sales than they are with this crappy phone system. I really don't want to go all the way to the mall which is some distance from me, only to find out that what I want is not in stock. In fact, this is a new store so I'm not even sure if it's a full store. I have a good mind to skip the store in Trumbull, and go to the one in Danbury.

I recently purchased a brand new unlocked iPhone XR from this Apple. To my disappointment, the phone was already damaged with an internal tech issue where the Face ID was not working. I took it in the immediate next day, which they told me they needed to ship out the phone and wait another 5 days to either fix the issue or replace the phone. I am confused to why I couldn’t just get the replacement then and there, considering those model phones were most definitely in stock, and the phone was given to me broken, and was less than 24 hours old. Service is average. The only good thing after the terrible wait is that the salespeople are relatively nice to their customers.

This is, without exaggeration, the worst store and worst customer service I have ever experienced. They replaced my broken iPhone with a broken iPhone, and then made me wait over a week to receive a replacement for their broken phone (which I never had an opportunity to actually use). They wouldn't pick up any phone calls, wouldn't expedite the diagnosis/replacement process, and wouldn't transfer this issue to my local Apple store.

I was in the mall shopping and dropped my iPhone, destroyed the screen and could not see anything on my phone. I immediately stopped into apple, thinking I would need to schedule and appointment for the repair. Instead they took care of me right away, connecting my phone to a t.v. monitor and typing onto my phone which was a completely blank screen. The representative helping (I believe her name was Meg) was able to successfully navigate through my phone, purchase more storage for me, and back everything up to i cloud. It was amazing. They were super patient, informative and went out of their way to assist me with not only repairing my phone, but ensuring that I did not lose any important data. I left feeling relieved.

I have been an apple users for over 15 years and visited many stores. I am planning to upgrade my system but not from the Trumbull store. I was in the store for over 45 minutes and received no attention. This has never happen in New Haven or Stamford. Trumbull needs to rethink customer service, maybe the staff needs training from the other stores. Thanks for a great experience and I won't be back to this store.

The people here are the best in terms of attentiveness, knowledge and willingness to help. The store is popular, so wait times can be prolonged, but I have never been disappointed. The Geniuses are extraordinary, going the extra distance to make sure that customer needs are met. (In New Haven, for example, it feels like an attractive factory, where the goal is to sell and get people on their way, vs. taking the time to respond...)

SCAM ARTISTS! BEWARE! They Up sell! Went there because my child’s iPad wouldn’t turn on and they couldn’t diagnose the problem so they suggested us to buy new iPad full price! Which I did and later that day the old iPad started working perfectly fine just needed to be charged. They couldn’t figure that out!!! Another time they broke my phone (it went completely dead at the store after they uploaded software) and told me to I had to buy another phone when they broke it. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Scammers!

While someone finally came up to us, she was in the middle of checking something, & asked another customer what their last name was without excusing herself. Went to the store today about a battery replacement. Women told me they had an hour wait or the next available appointment was Monday. I then went online to do some research and found that I needed to pre order a battery to the store. Why then would I need an appointment on Monday? That would have been a waste of everyone’s time. I don’t get why she wouldn’t just say I needed to pre order the battery online. So bizarre. Then come to find out it could be WEEKS until my replacement battery came in. Having this iPhone has been such a hassle.

I walked in and within a minute I was greeted and offered help. I was introduced to Phil and he was a great help and had a positive attitude, by the end I was able to make my purchase, received info on the ipads I bought and was informed about the monthly workshops held in store(which one was going on while I was there). I am a Google guy but it was an amazing experience dealing with Phil and William, check them out.

While I've only made two purchases at this mall while in the area, both were particularly hot new items - indeed it was on both occasions a new iPad generation recently released to the stores for public sale. Irs a busy outlet for sure on both visits....use the iPhone Apple Store application to purchase the item with the "Pick up in nearby store" option. It showed this store had the model I wanted in-stock. Both visits I was able easily weave through a jammed store, was approached by an Apple representative, and after scanning my iPhone for confirmation the report disappeared into the crowd - and quickly reemerged with the iPad in an Apple branded bag, and after a Thank you I was off. Highly recommended! Please note that I've again pre-purchase the Apple products on the iPhone Apple Store app and was executing a simple pick up. Based on the number of people in the store on each visit if you can do the same!

I arrived a little early and a nice young lady greeted me and told me I would have to wait until about 10 mins before my scheduled apportionment to swap out my battery. I made the appointment online and it was pretty easy to. Around two minutes after my appointee was schedules to start David introduced himself and asked what was up. I let him know I was there to have the battery replaced. He said fine, but just one thing, "please log into you apple account". I let him know right away I didn't know my password off the top of my head. He handed me the phone and said "please log in" I said "that is not going to happen. I have my password in a password safe and I don't carry that with me" He said "I am sorry, but we cant service the phone unless you log in" So I asked "So I need my password?" He said "yes'. I then said "well, you guys should have let me know that before I came in". I picked up my phone and walked out. Apple had multiple chances to remind me of that, but it didn't happen and I wasted my morning getting to this store and dealing with someone who didn't seem ready to help me, and was quick to put up roadblocks instead of solutions.

It started off right when I walked in the store. An associate noticed me right away, asked me what I needed help in, and directed me to the area/station where I could receive assistance. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the area/station where the AirPods were located at, two associates were there, both seemed to be talking to one another exchanging information, perhaps in regards to the “would be customer.” Now I have no problem with that, that’s their job. But what I did have a problem with, is you ignoring me. I’m standing there, I’m looking at you, you’re looking at me, and you choose not to address me, not acknowledge me, nothing. All you have to say is, “I’ll be right with you,” but no, I actually stood there for a few, until another associate came up to me, and he had to decipher which associate was helping the woman (unbeknownst to me, only one was). He asked the young lady associate was she assisting the customer, she told him no. Once he determined she was not, he then had to actually tell the young lady to assist me. That type of behavior is just unacceptable! Her behavior left me not wanting to ever return to that store. That will be my last purchase from Apple at Trumbull. It’s great that some people have a very professional attitude at work, while those that don’t, can tarnish the reputation of a business.
