Look, Chris and Ryan fix things that average people can't fix. They're probably really good at it. I've never brought anything to be fixed.
I come for gaming!
Sure, it's a tech shop. Get your tablet fixed like new. Get your 52 inch plasma screen replaced. Buy a new graphics card.
Then buy some Magic cards, Kingdomino and a Warhammer 40k Imperial Knight Warden and BLOW YOUR MIND with the fun you'll have!
Tuesday nights are game night! Starting at around five, we play games we haven't played before and games we have! If there's a new demo game, we all learn something new!
Wednesdays are for Warhammer. The shop has several prebuilt units available if you're looking to play, but since I wanna play with my OWN army, I'm focused on learning to paint the miniatures. Andy is the expert in this regard and he is super patient and supporting, an excellent teacher of the craft.
Andy also happens to be an official judge for Magic the Gathering, which monopolizes Friday from five til midnight. If there are enough players available for a draft (which is a specialized way of playing MtG) they often do so, giving players an opportunity to win cards! If not, Commander (or EDH) is the preferred style of play, with players sporting 100 card decks and facing off in upwards of five- or six-player free-for-alls. I grew up with Magic and, I gotta say, I didn't enjoy it until I learned Commander.
So, in conclusion, the Trinidad Tech Shop fixes electronic devices and they're quite good at it.
It is also THE BEST AND ONLY place to play MtG for hours on end, learn new games you didn't even know existed, and connect with people who share common gaming interests. The next time you fire up Netflix and scroll through literally everything available before shutting it off, throw on your shoes and head to the Tech Shop, where the fun doesn't require batteries OR a subscription!
