REVIEWS OF Apple Twenty Ninth Street IN Colorado

Friendly and helpful staff. Looks just like any other Apple store. Nothing special.

Ted B

These people were great! Friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure. Helped with things and demonstrated stuff I wasn't knowledgeable enough to ask about. And did so without being geeky or condescending. Everything out on display for hands on use. Wonderful example of how to do it right!

Kristina Eklund

Purchased a refurbished iPhone for my daughter at this store. It died immediately after the 90 day warranty expired.

Went here to have a battery in my I Phone 6S replaced under the agreement Apple has with customers. The guy there told me my phone is bent, he cannot replace the battery. I looked at the phone and could not see it. He then began to try and sell me a new phone. Really? I went to Batteries Plus and they replaced the battery for about $60.00. The good people at Batteries Plus (which I had never used before) told me there is nothing wrong with my phone, it is not 'bent'. Looks like another way Apple is training their people to get out from under their agreement. Very dishonest or ignorant, not sure which....

Love this area.

My first time inside this Apple Store. Went to buy Air Pods for my daughter's birthday gift. All staff were friendly. Rich was quite knowledgeable and very patient with all the questions I had about Air Pods. From what I was told, it's the busiest Apple store in the area but then again it's the only Apple store in the area! But they seem to keep up with their popularity by being well-staffed and well informed on their Apple products

Josh Sachs

For as long as I've lived in Colorado, I've shopped at this Apple Store specifically. This store is the closest one to me up in Fort Collins, but it's always worth the drive down. I've come here to buy products, as well as meet with the genius bar people. The sales staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the techs at the genius bar definitely know their stuff. It's hard to imagine having a bad experience here. Apple generally makes sales and repairs very easy and painless for the consumer, and this store embodies that well. Most recently, early December 2017, I came in after work to pick up my new phone, and was working with a sales person within minutes of walking into the store. We had some issues with setting up the new phone (2FA stuff, not hardware or really even software related) and the sales woman was patient and worked with me the entire time. She even went out of her way to go ask some other employees to get involved. I wish I knew her name, as it was an incredibly pleasant experience considering the issues. I will continue to use this store, as my experiences for the last 10ish years have always been positive.

Great location. Staff very helpful.

I bought the iPhone SE in August (brand new, now 4 months old), and have been having problems with it ever since. Images not sending in text, dropped calls, calls going in and out, getting only a half-ring when a call comes in before it goes to voicemail, not able to control ring volume about 50% of the time, bluetooth not connecting and a couple other issues. I had called Apple tech support 6-7x previously, and then finally went into the "genius bar" a couple days ago. A software update was performed and I was told to see if it helped, and if not, they would replace my phone. Went back today, waited an hour for my appointment, my person recognized the notes from the last visit and assured me they could just replace the phone at this point. She came back and said they can't actually do that anymore, they had been overridden by the engineers, who found these issues "interesting" and wanted to see the phone. So they could offer a loaner phone until they figured out the issue and then I would need to come back in and repeat the whole process again. She was empathetic but I am amazed at what poor customer service Apple as a company is offering. I declined the loaner phone and went to T mobile where they actually helped me resolve the issue. This will be my last iPhone for sure, since the help if anything goes wrong is absolutely infuriating.

If the Genius bar has a policy which automatically cancels an appointment when the customer is 10-min late, please make it clear when customer makes the appointment online and/or in the confirmation email. A separate note, there could be legitimate reasons why customers are late. Try to help your customers -- this is how to build a great company/brand.

I swear the employees here are high on marijuana or something, the two I spoke to smelt like marijuana and just acted super high. I don’t care if it’s legal here or not, you don’t do that while working with customers. I love apple but would rather drive a longer distance to go to the Apple in Broomfeild. Not to mention one of the employees had nasty sores all over him and I also had to wait about 40 minutes before someone helped me to bring me my prepaid items that had been ready the previous day. Just yuck.

Mark Muhle

Went there to get a simple 2 second problem fixed was told rudely to make a phone call! My boy started crying who is 4 years old said my belly hurts I need to go to the bathroom. I politely turn to the lady and ask her if we could have emergency use the of the bathroom she refused and told us that the closest public bathroom was three blocks away needless to say he didn't make it and had an accent I can't believe those people turned a crying four year old away

Jeff Gladu

Rude employees, don’t bother them or they’ll give you attitude. Also don’t bother making an appointment because they don’t care about your time! Surprise. Trash retail store like usual.

Patrick Degnan

Tecnician helped us learn how to use new I-pads. Very pleased

Jerri Gray

This was by far the worst service/experience I have had at this store. Will unfortunately be back, and not looking forward to it.

Leonard McCreary

Ignored and treated rudely by first employee. Second employee I had to approach, and then he told me “someone up front will help you. They’ll have an iPad.” That described everyone in the chaotic store. I’ll note, the chaos wasn’t consumer obsession for new products; there was standing room only for support of failing hardware and software. I wanted an iPhone battery replaced after they frogged my phone It’s supposed to be an in-and-out service. 2 different people at Apple promised me it would be, the second of which, I waited on hold for over 20min, then another 5 while they verified with this store. I went through their process to have a battery saved for me. I made an appointment so they should have no reason to waste my time. So they ignored me, were 15min late with my appointment - after I was 15min early, they refused to replace my battery citing “there are like 50 phones in front of you, you’d have to leave it” for an unknown length of time. My experience was so bad at this store and I have so little trust for Apple at this point I half expect to receive retaliation for posting this.

Mitch Mackrory

I am surprised at some of the low ratings here. I just returned from this store after my iPhone 6s appeared to have died. One of the guys at the Genius Bar diagnosed it immediately and 30 minutes later I was on my way home. I am VERY happy!

lizbeth ruiz

I have never had such an awful experience. Took my phone in because it had a manufacturer problem it was supposed to get fixed and it was returned to me in worse conditions.

Lex van der molen

Always a quick and good sevice

This location has horrible customer service! We went in with a 2011 MacBook that had a swollen battery that needed to be taken out for disposal. We don't have the tools to do so because Apple makes specialized tools that are not standard screwdrivers. We go into the store asking if we can use the screwdriver for literally a few seconds to just unscrew the battery and the worker told us the entire Genius Bar was booked for the rest of the night. We asked if there was any way we can just use it for a few seconds and we were rudely declined. The lack of accommodation here is ridiculous!

Matthew Gray

Gosh I don’t like this place. Today I visited this store for my 3rd time. Each time I’ve been there, I go through their que to meet with Genius Bar. Then after 20-30 minutes of waiting, they tell me they ‘don’t have it in stock but [they’re] happy to send me to another store.’ Thanks for wasting my time, again. Apple makes us go through their process only to go start it over again at another store. What happened to the beautiful customer service model Apple once had?! Today I was attempting to replace a lost AirPod. It took 30 minutes and speaking to 4 associates before they realized they didn’t have it in stock. What a waste.

Natalie Szabo

Thanks to the Apple Store in Boulder for a great experience when I stopped by at about 11 am today April 29. My wife and I are almost ready to purchase a new iPad and I stopped at the Apple Store to ask a few questions. I told them I was not ready to purchase yet but that didn’t make a difference, they enthusiastically spent time answering my questions and giving me options to consider. It is good to see employees who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and working to help customers make good decisions. They were busy, but working hard to see that all customers’ needs were met. Thanks, my wife and I will be back to make a purchase in your store soon.

Came here to unlock my phone, everyone nice to all customer

Chris Hildreth

This place is a mess. Disorganized and the wait on service is terrible. Staff tell you one thing but the reality is completely different. Be prepared for it to take 2-3x as long as they tell you for anything.

Shayne Niroomand

Never pick up the phone, fails to mention accurate pricing or details for any sort of repair. Poor service would not reccomend

CHEN SHI

Very bad experience. The touch screen of my ipad isn't working properly. I came to this store but the technician told me that my ipad cannot be warranted because I have opened it though I never opened it!

Kishin Wadhwani

The service was prompt and good, for discounted battery replacement if my daughter's iPhone 6. Scheduling he appointment prior was cumbersome though.

Chris Ochs

If you want Apple products, this is the place.

William Eiserman

Making a genius bar appointment through the system is ridiculous! no direct way to do it - its like a scavenger hunt every time you need support. And chances are, you're already frustrated by something that isn't working. For all the credit apple gets for providing support, they are HORRIBLE at making it accessible.

Scott Morrison

Perhaps I am used to poor service in Apple store, but this one doesn't seem to be that bad. The staff is decently friendly and attentive. If you have an appointment however, do expect to have to wait a while.

Hash Brown

This apple store is under very bad management. They break protocols all the time and hold personal grudges against some of their customers. I hope everyone who have had a bad experience email apple about it just like what I will be doing now. Oh and make sure you bring your ID if you are not white because they won’t help you then.

Jordan Clark

Very helpful! No complaints here, got my phone fixed right away.

Lexi Burgio

Not sure the point of having to make an appointment. Currently 25 minutes late and still waiting. talking to the lady next to me she said she walked right in and was helped before me yet I had an appointment? This is my 2nd time having to come here because last time, although once again I made an appointment, was told there is a 2 hour wait to get my screen replaced. I asked the tech since when? He said always. I said no because I was just in here a couple months ago. They give you no warning whatsoever that there is a wait and I live 40 minutes away. You go to the genuis bar website to make an appointment and not a single clue there Is now a standard wait time. Think I would rather go to the DMV than the Apple Store.

The employees just don’t know Apple policy. Frustrating I always have to call customer service to get them to force a decision on returns and warranties. Happens every time. Don’t come here if you can avoid it.

Terrible experience at this location. I have always had a pleasant experience at any genius bar I have been to. I had my iPhone X screen replaces through insurance at Best Buy genius bar, I was sent to them through my insurance. A few days after replacement I noticed a part of the screen had a weird bubble to it that looked like it was starting to crack. I called BestBuy and they said bring it in. Once I took it in they said take it to the actual Apple store and they would help me out. Thats where the trouble started. They checked me in and glanced at the phone and then had a specialist come glance at it. The specialist said it looks like I had dropped it and that was the problem. I told him I didn't drop it and explained what had happened. He then said well unfortunately thats what it looks like so we can't do anything. I asked for a manager. I spoke to Jon (Manager) he said the same thing I had cracked the screen so they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. I asked him if they could open it just to see that the screen wasn't defective. He said if they opened it, it would fully crack and I would be responsible for the total amount of a screen replacement. He also mentioned that It was my fault for taking it to Best Buy in the first place. Jon said BestBuy is not an Apple genius bar and that they aren't trained by Apple (later found out this was false) I showed him that making an appointment with the Genius bar on apples website prompted BestBuy and he still denied that they were an Apple provider. I went back to Best Buy with what I had been told they decided to open it up in front of me just to check. Sure enough the screen had a piece of plastic that didn't belong there right where the phone cracked! They replaced my screen. If Jon and his staff would have taken the time to even listen to what I had to say they would have found the same thing. Instead of telling me this was impossible and I was responsible for the crack. I would not take anything to this location as long as Jon is running it. The staff was professional and friendly the manager was the issue.

Great shopping experience.. If you want to get an apple watch, definitely visit this store first so that you can try different models/bands out

Thomas Cross

always terribly confusing registration process, long waits even for appointments and disinterested staff - oh bring a coat its always cold as well.

Nicholas Stevens

Technicians here are uneducated/misinformed on the Apple Warranty policies. Do not take your bent iPhone to this store and expect them to honor the warranty. This was my worst Apple Store experience. My iphone 7 Plus was bent. There was no other evidence of physical damage. I chatted with an Apple warranty specialist over the phone before going into the store and she confirmed that a bent iphone is covered under warranty (when there is no other evidence of damage). I went into this store, and the RUDE technician told me that is not covered under warranty, even after I showed him what the Apple specialist stated over chat. So, I elected to ship the phone to Apple and they have replaced it at no charge because it IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

Mihir Pakhale

Great service and no wait time.

Sasha Chekov

If you immediately buy something they might help you. I went in asking for a very specific product and they pointed me to the wrong thing! My mother went in for help on her iPhone and they couldn’t do anything besides transfer her from one sales man to another on a regulated basis. If they knew what they were talking about it might have worked. I absolutely despise this store. I like Apple products but this store is trash. The salesman don’t even know what they are talking about. They don’t know a 9.7 from a pro. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

Roger Quintanilla

Took our iPhones to 29th to get replacement batteries. Yellow mark on one screen turned out to be a loose screw retainer which the tech did not replace. Neither did Apple own up to the damage after their 90 days. Tech tried to tell us our carrier's iPhone was refurbished as if that would absolve Apple. Carrier's response to our story was a new phone shipped within one day. Guess the shareholders are happy, less so this customer of 45 years.

Wes Kufeld

I set an appointment, waited until they could see me which was much later later than needed to be. The rep gave me a song and dance as to what was wrong with my phone in his opinion, re-set the phone and acted confident that was the problem, even though I was sure he was not right. The phone is not even 30 days old, (iphone8). He assured me it was the problem, NOW we have to go back and get this phone replaced. Needless to say we are getting the runaround getting a new phone, Come on!!!!!!!!! Lets do the right thing, stop the opinions and get it done correctly. I’m not happy and its wasting my time. IF you go to this store, stand your ground, get what you want as the customer, its your investment, not there’s . Thats what I’m going to do in a couple of days.

Fay Sadowsky

Great service!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE Apple Store ever!!! I bought an iPhone 5S there for my girlfriend, but couple days later we found out that the phone has defective battery, it just won't charge nor power on anymore. Since it was still under the one year warranty, I took it back for repair. These guys just won't repair it and giving me BS like 'it's not yours, you should have your girlfriend come here' and 'it does not have a SIM card inside' blah blah blah... I mean, why the hell does it matter? I bought the damn phone there! Then I took it to the Apple Store in Flatiron Mall, they were totally different and gave me a new replacement in within 5 minutes after they diagnosed it. Also guys there told me that the Boulder store should have just done the same thing but they didn't follow the rules. I was shocked, how could this Boulder Store do things on their own will and damage the Apple brand like this? I felt obligated to let everyone know their evil, BE AWARE of this store!!

Alan Cobb

I was at the Boulder Apple Store this weekend to inquire options for a battery replacement for a friend's phone. Instead of options, we received a lecture about how the phone will be fine for the next two years. We were there in December, and they said that they were out of batteries and asked if we could get the battery replaced at a later time under apple care. The current associate read the notes and said there was no mention of price and would not allow the replacement under apple care. The associate was supercilious and spoke to us as if we never seen a smartphone. When I asked a question, they were smug in their response. I can accept that the store has new policies today then they did in December, what was disheartening was the condescending attitude we received. We left the store feeling like we were talked down to, lied to and felt stupid. I do not want to step inside that store again. One star only because I cannot select a zero stars

Elizabeth Ryan

We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon to look at an IPhone and possibly purchase it. We were given a 15 minute wait time, which already gives me a sense for how valuable they think I am as a customer. Waited 20 minutes, and asked and they said we were next. Waited 5 more minutes, no help, and had to leave. Apple, you make me feel like you don’t care about me. Gosh, I thought the prices were so high in part because we could expect great customer service. Not today. So many pretty toys and no one to help me buy one. Darn!

Ben Baranovsky

I had a very bad experience with one employee at this store who treated me extremely poorly and was very rude. I spoke with a manager who was very understanding which is why I tacked on 2 more stars. I'd recommend going to a different Apple store.

I have been using Apple products for well over 2 decades and owned many, many devices. Most devices have been just fine, with one or two exceptions. I started having big problems with my MacBook Air (It's my third one). I took it in to the genius bar and received the most unbelievably poor technical support -- bar none. The "genius" was unable to duplicate my problem even though I told her how it occurred 100% of the time. She didn't look at the logs because "that's just a lot of computer stuff." She suggested I take a picture of the error message the next time it crashed so she'd have an easier time finding it. Wow. I attempted to call the manager after I left the store, but he was in a meeting and couldn't talk to a customer. I called several hours later and spoke with the store manager and asked him to advise me as to what I should do to get my machine fixed under the several hundred dollars I had paid for Apple Care. He said I should try somewhere else if I'm uncomfortable with the store's service. This is a new problem for this store, but perhaps the manager knows what's up. Go somewhere else.

Had a great experience with this guys. They have really good and friendly service. Always helpful.

Had an iPhone 8 Plus. I traded that into AT&T to upgrade into the newer iPhone XS. Turns out my new phone is useless because I can’t restore the backup from my iPhone 8 Plus, which is a older phone model magically on a newer IOS version. Really smart Apple.

Elizabeth Freeman

Extremely poor customer service and technical support - it is a shame they own the market. Associate was rude, condescending, and unwilling to offer assistance.

Bob Forshay

I called before the store opened about a virus on my MacBook Air. The telephone support guy did a great job solving the problem right away. The only issue was his speaking voice--if he worked on improving his enunciation and voice habits, he would have been perfect.

Don’t waste your time at this store. Just go to a Best Buy and get better service and more knolagable sales representation. Customer friendly folks would be an improvement. Apple team lost some sales yesterday as a result of our visit

This is my first time posting a review online for anything. However, I'm compelled to write this based on the "customer service" I received today from technician Emily and "head manager" Andy M. My phone got destroyed by my laundry machine when I accidentally put it in with my sheet covers. It was completely water logged and ruined. I pay for apple care plus for this specific kind of accident that surely it says it covers. Emily, the "technician," refused to acknowledge seeing any type of water damage to the phone and with her diagnostic said I'm not eligible for the Apple Care Redemption. I asked if I could go to the other Apple store 15 minutes away and see if their diagnostic would show I am eligible. She said thats fine but they will find the same thing. I went to the Flatiron's Crossing Mall (definitely the place to go) and went through the process again with an amazing guy named Eroj (maybe Iroj?). He and his manager agreed that the criteria was met for a replacement (Apple Care Plus, accidental complete water damage). Problem is they were out of stock of the type of phone I had. The Boulder location had one and they made the form and called over to put it on hold. I drove over to the 29th Street Mall location in Boulder and while waiting for the phone I was met again by Emily. She proceeded to go straight to the back room after I told her I was actually here to get the phone. After her obvious interference, I waited twenty plus minutes for a very special "head manager" named Andy M. to come out. Andy M. refused to let me have the phone on hold. He said, "You only have two options I will let you have: Take the phone to the repair depot or go without a phone." I asked him probably 20 times to speak to another manager and each time he said he will not allow me to talk to another manager because (1) He is the only one he will allow to talk to me (2) The other manager is taking calls (3) The other manager taking calls is now on lunch (at 7pm) (4) He is the highest ranking manager in the store and no one else there was above him. Those are quotes. I asked many, many times why he's doing this and it ended with him telling me I need to leave. He's a bad liar and a condescending, sarcastic jerk on a pathetic and quite embarrassing power trip. I haven't seen that poor of customer service probably ever. Be warned.

I walked into this store, cash in hand today, ready to leave with a new computer. There were 15 people working, but only 2 could do sales. I left 15 minutes later, because even though there were plenty of employees literally standing around with nothing to do, none of them could actually sell merchandise. I was on a waiting list for a sales person to attend to me. How about this novel idea: anyone who works in an Apple Store is able to sell merchandise to somebody who is waiting to buy. I wasn't in the mood for waiting indefinitely so I left. I'll buy my new machine elsewhere.

Jeremy Ryan

We were ten minutes late to an appointment and they made us reschedule for 2 hours later rather than just squeeze us in. The manager told me at a prior visit that they hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time but I guess that was bogus. It’s a shame there isn’t better customer service considering the premium we all pay for their products.

John Gunderson

Read the negative ratings. I must say my experience was very good. Came in to replace a screen on my iPhone. Had it done quickly. Bought some other accessories. Very helpful all around.

Made an appointment a week out for a 6s battery replacement. After a half hour drive and a 20 minute delay to see a “Genius”, He checked my battery and concluded that it needed to be replaced. Duh. Then he informed me that they didn’t have any batteries in stock, despite my appointment for a replacement, and that they’d order one for me and it’d be available in about four days. Time wasted: ~2 hours Four days later, they had received the battery, held it for me, and replaced it. *So Apple 29th Street HAS the ability to receive parts and hold them for specific appointments/customers.* Fast forward six and a half months and the replacement battery is defective, per Apple Care’s remote diagnostics. They scheduled a battery replacement for me at Apple 29th Street, seven days out from my call. The day before the appointment, I call to make sure the battery is in stock and that there will be someone there who can do the work at that time. THE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH TELLS ME THAT THEY WON’T COMMENT ON INVENTORY LEVELS AND THAT I’LL JUST HAVE TO COME IN TO SEE IF THEY CAN DO THE WORK THAT’S SCHEDULED!!!! Unbelievable!!! When it comes time to buy a new phone, I won’t be buying it from these people.

John Quinn

always great service but very long wait times, even if you come late morning during the week.

Paul Tucker

Drove over an hour to bring in an iPhone 6 for a battery replacement. The “genius” I dealt with refused to do the service because my phone bezel had a tiny dent in it. Some BS about they might break it... No amount of pleading and/or releasing them from responsibility for damage did any good. They did offer me a replacement for $299, LOL. Took the phone to Batteries Plus and they had the battery replaced and ready in 20 minutes. Phone works perfectly. They didn’t even claim to be geniuses...

I've never had this pleasant of an experience at an apple store before. I walked in hoping for an open spot for a technician to look at my iPhone. To my surprise, Chris was able to get me in. I was seated and helped within 10 minutes. Nathan kindly introduced himself and took a look at my phone. He was prompt, and was able to squeeze my phone in for a technician to fix overnight. Thank you, Nathan and team at the apple store! PS- dogs are allowed, two of the cutest puppies happened to be sitting near.

Madeline Schrader

Morgan helped me with my phone so quickly and was so kind to me. I was a walk-in and everyone in the store was so nice and they got me in and out very fast. Best customer service I have had in a very long time.

Andi Schuster

I have had nothing but great experiences here. Specifically yesterday, Sylvan went above and beyond. I had a unique hardware issue that wasn’t an easy puzzle but his patience and diligence was very much appreciated! All of the staff is intentive, has a sense of urgency and so friendly. Won’t go anywhere else for Apple repairs, questions, etc.

Cinnabun

Placed an online order to be in & out quickly. Original associate who greeted me made it seem like I was being helped only to tell me that I had to wait for a rep to be with me. I assumed someone would bring my payed purchase ASAP but I had to wait a long time! It made no difference that my order was payed for & “ready for pickup” I Understand they are busy, but online orders should be a priority. If it says ready for pickup & it’s payed for, why do I have to wait as long as someone who does a “walk in”

Ben Baranovsky

I had a very bad experience with one employee at this store who treated me extremely poorly and was very rude. I spoke with a manager who was very understanding which is why I tacked on 2 more stars. I'd recommend going to a different Apple store.

Came here for the battery change just like 2 other people who left reviews and left with a bricked phone. Keep in mind that it was fully functional before but they said it had liquid damage internally before and during the fix it was triggered. I can provide the reports from the shops admitting everything

Joe B

What legitimate business doesn’t open till 10am on weekdays? Would give zero stars If I could. Only in Colorado are dispenceries open before real stores

Andrew Louder

PIcking up an online order was slow. The first person I talked to was not able to scan my QR code on my phone, so had to wait for another person.

Renee Schoenbeck

I've been really disappointed with Apple over the past few years, and this store is just another representation of that. Such a bummer. What once was good, is going downhill fast.

Daniel Gray

Crowded all the time. Most of the "geniuses" need training

Heather Westhill

I have NEVER been treated so horribly by anyone in all of my life! The employees are rude and uncaring, they won't do anything for you unless you pay them, and on top of that, their replacement parts break within a week of use. AVOID VISITING THIS APPLE STORE AT ALL COSTS!

Trevor Tucker

Some of the associates are friendly/helpful, many are not. One time recently I arrived 30 mins early for a helpdesk appointment, and after acting annoyed the associate told me I would have to leave and come back at the appointed time, even though there was almost noone in the store and most of the associates were standing around laughing and not working. When I politey asked "why", I was told to wait and was then helped immeidately. Why make the customer ask? This was pure, unadulterated laziness. Then today, when attempting to get a price match on a recently purchased Macbook, the first associate royally screwed up the entire transaction such that noone could even reconstruct/understand what had happened. Bottom line: I was not getting the total $$ that was due back to me. It was not complicated: I was given a 6% discount from a corp discount program, but Best Buy is now advertising the same machine at a 10% discount, so I was owed 4% + tax. I was "accused" multiple times of trying to "get both discounts", which is not what I was trying to do. Also, unbeknownst to me, the associate returned the apple care that I had originally purchased with my corp discount, and then recharged me for it at the full retail price (another error in my favor). All in all, there was about 75 bucks in my favor that was "mysteriously unaccounted for". Really Apple? It seemed that simple math was beyond the scope of the associates and/or computer system and it took about an hour of my time (with no apologies from the employees), although ultimately a friendly associate was able to help. I don't even want to think how much $$ I've spent with Apple over the years, including nearly every generation of iPhone, multiple iPads, multiple Macbooks, AirPods, etc., so these kinds of situations definitely give you pause re: the places you choose to patronize. If I didn't have the Apple rewards VISA, I would probably never shop here, but I want my iTunes gift cards!

esteban trevizo

This place is horrible the lady who helped me was extremely rude removed my screen protector! Accusing me that I was lying about my screen being cracked I will take this further to corporate I’ve been a long time costumer 9+ years and the way I was treated is unacceptable ! My phone has been getting extremely hot for now 1 month to the point that i have to set my phone down ! I called to see what could be the issue when I went to the store the hippie nasty smelling lady started accusing me saying that I have requested a screen repair when I had called for a complete different problem! I felt humiliated by her comments I will never go back to that store

Lyndsey Ballard

My brand new AirPods stopped working so I went through an online Apple Support chat experience that was great. But he wasn't able help resolve my issue so made me an appointment at my local Apple store for later that day. I arrived on time for my appointment, checked in, and was told to sit. 30 minutes later no one had helped me yet and when I asked how much longer it would be I was told there were still two people ahead of me. What is the point of an appointment if I am still going to wait for an hour? I was told that they had many employees call out of work that day, but in looking around there were at least twice as many apple representatives than customers in the store, most of whom seemed to be just standing around looking at their screens not helping any customers. Some were listening to music and dancing, or socializing in groups. I ended up leaving without being helped because I had to go back to work. When I told the woman who checked me in that I needed to leave she just said "Okay, I'll cancel your appointment.", with no apology about not being able to help me or offer to re-book my appointment. I usually have decent experiences at my Apple store but was really unhappy with this one. I never give bad reviews but felt like this information needed to be passed along to those who should see it.

Sophia SOSU4995

About two weeks ago I got a free pair of beats with a laptop because I am a student at the University. The beats stopped working and I was not able to hear sound, so I went to the apple store. I spent about an hour trying to figure out what went wrong with the beats, eventually with him looking up how to fix the beats online on a computer while leaving me multiple times to talk to apple managers in private. He basically told me he could not help me and did not replace them. I went home and after 30 minutes realized the volume was low and I needed to raise the volume on the headset, which was an obvious button and i don't understand why i couldn't have solved it myself. Note: if its for free or you are a student, they might not help you.

Ananta Nair

I've been an apple customer for over 10 years and this store is the WORST Apple experience I've had. For over 6 months they continuously misdiagnosed my mac book problems while each time trying to slap me with a higher repair fee. They were not accommodating, polite or knowledgeable. Highly recommend going to the Cherry Creek store in Denver instead!!!

Jasper H.

The employees were all very nice, though they were busy and we had to wait an hour for a technician. Unfortunately though they got the phone working, it froze up again on the way home.

sean wright

Don’t waste your time with this store, call apple support instead. I went in for a battery change and came out with a broken display. I had to make a new appointment and drive the 2 hours round trip for a second time in order to fix my display. Don’t worry it doesn’t stop there. I got to my appointment and they took my phone into the back. They promptly came out (a half hour later) and told me that my I phone, which was bought brand new had a 3rd party screen installed. They then informed me that they would not replace the screen that they broke during a battery repair. DO NOT waste your time with these rude buffoons. This was completely unacceptable but they basically told me to F off and buy a new display from them. Don’t worry, this story has a happy ending. I called the real apple support and the gentleman I spoke with is sending me a replacement (at no cost), because of the incompetence of the apple techs and self proclaimed “geniuses.”

Jonathan Schiesl

Overall impressed! Quick service for how jam packed the store tends to be. At first my Sales representative was not able to assist me with getting a discount. I was able to find a more personable and relatable representative to assist me. He alleviated all my concerns, got me a discount, and held a personalized and entertaining conversation. Obviously, the wait time was longer than preferred, but they have a good selection of apple devices and 3rd party gizmos to play with while you wait! Not the best Apple store I've been too, but definitely hits the ranks as a 5 star store! Thank you to whomever it was that got me my product, discount, and good conversation!

Caitlin Clark-Zigmond

Friendly, but always too busy to get anything done.

Dave C

The worst customer service experience ever. I’ve had to visit this store 4 times and each time is a train wreck. The employees lack basic compassion and any sort of customer service ability. Rude is just the beginning. Just called the store. The kid was so rude he wouldn’t even give his name. I asked for a manager and he put me on hold and never returned. Your store is a disgrace to the company name Apple. UbreakIfix replaced my battery in 12.5 minutes. Apple Store said I had to leave it for 4-6 hours. But wait they can’t call me to tell me it’s done because you’ll keep my phone. I paid the full battery replacement price of $89 so that I never have to go to this store again.

HART DAVID

Jordan is great at his job.

Would give zero but can’t. Been in four different times to replace an old phone, then told we can’t refund it when the problems continued. Talked to the manager and she basically skipped over our problem and told us we need to read all the fine print which was different to what we were originally told.

When I first walked in the were very responsive this girl with a bull ring nose piercing helped up she was pretty rude and told us to figure our problems ourselves we walked down to at&t and then they told us to go back to apple. We went and a young man named Aaron helped us out and he was so helpful! If you’re ever having problems with your phone make sure to ask for Aaron! Apple needs more people like Aaron instead of the first person who helped us.

Jana Jeffers

Perhaps calling them "geniuses" is the first mistake. They tend to talk to customers as if we are all idiots who know nothing about our devices. Not sure how they have 30 people working all the time and yet getting actual service is difficult. I recently had my battery replaced. When I picked up the phone they hadn't charged it at all. When I commented on the fact that the only reason my phone was in the shop was due to the battery and I couldn't tell if the repair worked when there's no charge left. The girl told me "Federal regulations say batteries cannot be shipped with charge." as if charging it while you've had it for 1.5 hrs is not an option. I said I dropped the phone off because I couldn't use it and now I can't use it to tell if it worked. Her response: "well, if you charge your phone you can use it.". Really? Is that how it works? Hmm. I wish someone had told me during all my engineering degrees and PhD that it's that simple. Her pompous attitude and complete lack of concern for my repair experience is what gives Apple the terrible reputation it has and why all Apple stores have horrible reviews. Maybe they should prioritize human empathy over being a "genius".

CJ Sullivan

Average Apple Store. Gets really support crowded... Be sure to make a reservation if visiting the Genius Bar!

Sarah A. Salyer

I spend thousands of dollars with Apple and Boulders tax rates are super high...so I pay even more. I tried to drop my desk top off without an appointment… They turned me away after I had to lug my huge 27 inch desktop to the store for a wireless keypad repair. I am leaving the country for 10 days and thought that they could just take my computer and fix it while I’m gone… No big deal. But apparently they will not see you unless you have an appointment. I’m extremely dissapointed!! The customer service at this Apple store is terrible:/

Lonememe

All I wanted to do was call them in advance regarding the wait time for a walk-up battery replacement under recall for my 6s. Their phone system is terrible and I gave up after 10 minutes of trying to tell the auto-attendant that I just wanted to talk to someone in the store. Someone needs to pretend to be a customer in their end-user testing...

Justin Deck

Wes was worthless: Customer service - 0, Problem Solving - 0 I had my battery replaced 9 months ago under their Out-of-Warranty program at this location for $29 because so many iPhones 6 or later would not properly hold a charge. The replacement battery was faulty in comparison to the original and held even less of a charge. I asked them to look at it but all they did was run diagnostics that said "Issue Found". Not helpful. They assumed it was the Charging Port - incorrect. If they opened up the phone, they would've seen a swollen battery that I ended up replacing myself within hours of leaving the store. They wouldn't even give me a credit towards a new phone even though it's working 100% now, no thanks to them. Anybody can tell you to buy a new phone, not everyone can diagnose hardware issues. Absolute waste of time. These 'geniuses' don't know what they're talking about and have no interest in providing value to their customers.

Jim Foltz

Long wait-time, felt like I was treated rudely and condescendingly. Genius damaged my part even more with his swiss army pocket-knife, and then offered 10% discount on replacement. Went home mad, called Apple Care, they approved an exception for a free replacement of the part and told me to go into the store to get it with my case number. Apple Store manager would not honor it, even after I explained they had damaged my part more. He just said Apple Care was wrong. He did not care about different groups within the Apple organization telling me different things or helping me resolve the impasse. He just laid the new part in front of me, and again offered 10% off, no empathy, seemed to just want to force a sale. Bad customer service. Rude and wasted an hour of my day.

Critical Thinking

Worthless, waste of time. Employee spoke in a Tone as if you were speaking to a child. It was very bizarre and he acted as though there was nothing wrong with my device when is clearly not functioning properly. Apple is just going down and down and down and down. Won’t be by Apple products anymore for the first time in 25 years. For example I can’t even use my phone to type right now. I have to use Siri and apparently my phone is just fine

Lauren Rarden

Sad to say I am one of many who had a horrible experience at this particular location. I called this location to get support on the phone for an issue with my MacBook, and after finally connecting with someone I was hung up on after he asked for my Apple ID. He had even asked for my phone number in case we were disconnected, and then never called back. I then went in to the store and didn’t even receive so much as a greeting the entire time I waited around. I work in customer service so I understand very well that you can’t help everyone at once. But you can still acknowledge someone’s presence when they have been patiently waiting in your store for 25 minutes. Poor managing. Won’t return.

L Van

Terriable customer service - the employees and managers talk down to customers. I called the store and explained the problem I was having with my power cord, it almost started a fire, a store employee told me to stop by and they would replace it. I went to the store and they said I needed a Genius Bar appointment to speak to anyone. I asked to speak to the manager he told me his employee did not tell me to come to the store and did not tell me that they would replace the cord. He was very condenseding and flat out did not believe me. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and an overall attitude of superiority-

Jessica Meyers

Huge shout out to Joel at the genius bar! He was quick, helpful and listened to me. After my phone took a quick swim I was having issues, we weren't sure we were going to be able to get anything off of it, but at my request Joel tried and was able to update my contacts and back up my phone. All in all thanks to apple care and their quick service I was in and out in 30 minutes and only a small payment for my new phone. Summary: I highly recommend apple care and making a genius bar appointment, they will take great care of you!

Lila Rosenthal

I can tell the store is really working on customer service. I had a great experience today. Thank you!

Maximilian Zim

Come here if your willing to wait hours for technicians who have close to little experience of computer technology. The manager couldn’t even describe to me about the inner specifications of the computer, how they worked and what the upgrades would enable me to do

Kay Law

We ordered an Ipad Air over the phone from this store. We were told that it was available. We gave our credit card info. to hold it. An hour later we arrived and were told that it was NOT available. We were also told that Apple was have problems getting the Amex card to work. They said that Amex needed to contact us. We suggested that was not true, because we had used the card for 50 years with no problem. We did become a bit upset after waiting for more than an hour. The slaes rep. told us that if we got upset, he would ask us to leave. At that point, a manager decided to help. By magic, he found an Ipad and got our credit card to work in minutes. We will never go to an Apple store again, except, perhaps, to return the Ipad which refuses to sync with other products!

Corinne McKay

I visited this store with some trepidation due to the multiple negative reviews, but my experience there was actually great. We needed to have a dead battery replaced in my daughter's iPhone, which we purchased from an eBay reseller, not from the Apple Store. After being told it would be an hour wait to see a tech (ugh, but our fault for not making an appointment), the wait turned out to be less than 20 minutes. The phone was fixed by the next morning and everything about the experience was totally smooth.

Chris O'Brien

Best to schedule ahead for assistance at the genius bar, they're always busy because they're good!

Carver Tate

Some of the people who work there are nice, but most of them are, pretentious, condescending and unknowledgeable about their own products (I asked four different employees if the new iPads had the same 3D / Force Touch capabilities as the iPhone and not only did they not know what I was talking about, but three of them acted like I was an idiot for asking). The only reason I continue going to this store is because sometimes I don’t have a choice if I need a new Apple product. However, the managers should be ashamed of themselves and Apple should seriously review the way there employees treat their customers!

Leah Hanna

Excellent customer service! I bought a brand new iPhone 8 plus from Verizon and it was a dud from the beginning. Verizon would have replaced with a refurbished phone. After taking a look and doing some diagnostics. They took care of the issues and I have the new working iPhone I had intended on purchasing in the first place. Even during an exceptionally busy time, the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the trip from Fort Collins!

Kristen Moeller

I used to love Apple. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. I’m on my third MacBook Pro, however maybe that should’ve told me something... I just got a refurbished machine - and already one of the keys is sticking. I live three hours from the nearest Apple store made an appointment to take it in. My bad is that I had the time wrong. They wouldn’t even look at it to let me know if I would have to send it in or not even when I told them it was brand new to me and I drove three hours. Boo Apple.

anthony pogliano

I had a very good experience with a very friendly and helpful sales person named Dave.

Terrible service as John Burke commented "BUT the arrogant, impersonal barriers between me and the Genius bar make me sorry I got involved with Apple. I went in to have my phone replaced because the battery indicator was buggy and after waiting for a bit in the nearby Starbucks, the guy switched it out immediately with a new one. I had 8 days left under warranty, so probably my experience would be very different if I did not have said warranty. Some one more callous might say such a failure would be mighty convenient for apple had it happened 9 days later. Nevertheless, the service was friendly, despite the severely overestimated wait time they gave me.

Kun Zhang

Terrible experience today. My next electronic device will definitely not be from Apple. I personally don't recommend anyone to come here for service at all.

Endeavor

This Apple store is fine.. They are well staffed but the wait can take literally for everrr! Also, their genius bar can't do as much as I had hoped. It can be a fun place tho ig, and it's cool that they let you play around w/ all the gadgets. Apple is getting more and more expensive though, they were always kinda overpriced, now it's just insane.

Cris Flores

They told me I would wait about 10-15 min. Then I checked in, and was told to wait, someone would be with me in a moment. 10 min passed, no one came, and I had somewhere to be so I left. Aside from that, I apparently had to schedule an appointment with Genius Bar if I wanted to buy or order the Apple Pencil charger, since it was not in store. I didn’t even have a technology question, just an order, and apparently the people around who are SELLING PRODUCTS, cannot sell me a product?

Edmee Knight

Good luck setting up an appointment with the Genius Bar online. If you call to set up an appointment you'll be on hold for at least 20 minutes.

Zack Manship

This apple store is one of the worst I have ever been inside. The works don’t care about long lines and the seems like nobody is trying to do there part so that the store run smoothly. Horribly mismanaged in my opinion and I hope something is done soon to fix it. My computer just broke and I’m not sure I want to return to an apple product because of how horrible the environment at this store is

Patrick Sullivan

I visited this location on my way through Boulder. I initially went in because my iPhone 6s, which was less than a year ago, was not functioning well. Poor battery performance, excecive heat from the battery, and force quitting apps were among the issues. The woman that "assisted" me at the he geniuse bar only suggested the usual - deleting settings and restoring from a new update. I can do this on my own, why would I need this help? I informed her I had already done this. I also informed her that I needed a definitive fix to this problem because my home is over 3 hours to the closest Apple Store. Since then, the phone has been even worse. I attempted to speak with the manager about my experience. While expressing my extreme dissatisfaction he hung up on me. This is what passes for customer service in Boulder. Your over sensitivity makes me want to puke.

Isaac Lucero

It's Apple. The quality that they uphold is outstanding.

Hassan Al Saleh

Judy Haynes

Darcy Lord

Would give zero but can’t. Been in four different times to replace an old phone, then told we can’t refund it when the problems continued. Talked to the manager and she basically skipped over our problem and told us we need to read all the fine print which was different to what we were originally told.

Israel

Since then, the phone has been even worse. I attempted to speak with the manager about my experience. While expressing my extreme dissatisfaction he hung up on me. This is what passes for customer service in Boulder. Your over sensitivity makes me want to puke.

It's Apple. The quality that they uphold is outstanding.

One star date. My boyfriend promised we would clean the house today.... But instead we've ended up at the mercy of the Apple Store all afternoon. After there was a startup issue with his computer this morning he adorably asked if I'd go on a lunch date with him to the Apple Store (

Got me a walk in appointment super fast, however the “genius” ajay didn’t know a lot of troubleshooting tips. Basically my phone thought headphones were plugged in when they weren’t so I couldn’t hear phone calls. He ran a diagnostic and decided that my 6S was antiquated and needed to be replaced. I left without help and my buddy fixed it in 1 second. Not an exaggeration. Just a software glitch. Hit the screen mirroring button and voila.. incredible.

Drove an hour and a half to this store to see about getting my iPhone fixed... wait around an hour and a half to find out that they can't fix it because it's a little bent (okay, my bad). Scott the repair guy comes out and tells me it'll be $350 to replace on the spot, or I can see about my carrier insurance. Decide to file with carrier as it would be cheaper ($200). Get home, look and see that I have AppleCare+ on this phone, so _any_ incident should only be $99. Now I'm waiting an extra few days to get a replacement phone when I should have been able to get it right there, on-the-spot, for $99. I should have been a little more aware of my AppleCare+ protection (I knew it covered cracked screens for a fee, did not know it would also work for pretty much any damage). But I'd really expect the employees to be aware of the coverages, when this is one of the first things they see when they pull up your device info. Really disappointing, Scott. Wasted half my day.

Apple Twenty Ninth Street (without a hyphen) has the usual well-informed, friendly staff and most products in stock (including the iPhone X). They offer free workshops (now called "Today at Apple") to learn how to use their products. The staff is low-pressure; in fact, I overheard one suggesting to buy a lower-priced iMac that would be more than sufficient for the customer. My sister has been a long-time customer here, and the support is excellent. The one downside is that the store is quite small compared to the Apple stores around Paris. Prices are much cheaper than in France, but are the same as at other U.S. locations.

Zach Brick

I don’t write many bad reviews about any company out of principle unless I feel that I have to share. I went in to have my Apple Airpods replaced due to an intermittent connectivity issue when receiving calls. I own Apple everything for work and home. I am also quite savvy with tech. The service technician basically insulted me and told me that he could not duplicate the issue. Unfortunately, it just does not seem that apple has any compassion for their customers anymore. They are just too big.

Kristin Sweeting Morelli

Wow, I would stay far far away from this particular Apple store due to the manager and how he runs the store. As many others have said, he's extremely rude and condescending. It's very disconcerting. This store is definitely the rudest, least competent Apple Store I've ever been to. Just so you know, I've been to this store at least 20 times. So, save yourself a lot of stress and drive an extra 15-20 minutes to another Apple store.

Gabrielle E

The last two times I've had appointments at the Genius Bar, I've found the young tech staff who have been assigned to help me quite friendly, knowledgeable about my software and application questions and needs for assistance, and, above all, able to help me resolve my issues. Both have actually gone above and beyond in assisting me with follow up questions about related topics. Today, it was Christian who was my GB technician, and he was great. Perhaps these were easy-to-resolve issues, and not hardware issues that have left other techies pondering what how to help, but they were in no way "punks" (though, yes, I've encountered one or two at this store in the past) or arrogant. In fact, of the maybe 8 or 9 times I've needed help at this store, the majority of the staff have been professional, friendly, and willing to help as best they could. When they haven't been sure how to answer my questions, they've mostly been responsible enough to ask another technician to assist us. Thus, they get 4 stars from me, and I would give 4.5 if I could.

Mary Beth Johnson

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service that I experienced at this store this evening. I came in for a hardware issue with the iPhone 7 that Apple has already acknowledged, but for which I was blamed. This is my 6th Apple product and I have been loyal to the brand up to this point, however the iPhone 7 has been a disappointment. When I expressed my disappointment with the quality of the product and expressed my intention to shop other brands before purchasing my next phone, zero effort was made to try to retain me as a customer. We spend too much money on these products to be treated this way. Fortunately, I have learned my lesson with this location and if I decide to purchase more Apple products in the future, it will not be from this store.

Olivia C

Bottom line: Jobbs is gone and so is Apple. The people are rude, worst store I've been in. Customer service no longer exists. I'm out. : ( ~ User since 1889

I had been having serious issues with my computer for some time now, I had even taken it to be repaired elsewhere no avail, and within 30 minutes of walking in the door the problem was fixed. It was a super simple solution and the tech who helped me Wade was super friendly and helpful. he didn't assume the worst and went for simple solutions first. It was clear he wasn't trying to pressure me into any fancy software or a new computer which I appreciated because it could have been different elsewhere. Like it here. I recommend it even though it is a little busy.

I bought a $50 dollar connector for my computer to connect it to a TV- it worked 4 times. Before you go in to buy that shiny new phone or laptop please remember that your new toy will eventually break and Apple will treat you as poorly as they did me. I am seriously disappointed with Apple. The iPhone7 that I purchased brand new online had the "No Service" problem which is a known recall issue and should be repaired for free under Apple's program. Brought my phone in, they examined, confirmed this and sent it in to the repair center. My phone came back unrepaired with Apple claiming I had made "unauthorized modifications. My phone was never modified. Furthermore Apple would not explain what had allegedly been modified. I refused to accept the phone without explanation as to what was modified. They took it back, reexamined and again told me nothing. In the meantime 3 weeks went by. Today I finally came back in again to pick up my unrepaired phone. Then I noticed that they had broken my screen in the process of not repairing my original problem. They fixed it for me but it was more time and hassle wasted. Finally upon getting home I found they forgot to give me my SIM card back from the loaner phone. Terrible service for a premium brand. Please take your money elsewhere.

HORRIBLE Staff, Avoid at all costs!! Let me preface this by stating that I’ve been a very loyal Apple customer for over a decade now, having owned multiple MacBook Pro’s, iPads, iPods, etc. I was initially attracted to Apple’s products for digital media editing, luxury products, and customer service. Unfortunately, I have witnessed Apple distance itself from high-end hardware in lieu of “simplifying” the products they sell to attract those who don’t need a nice graphics card or memory options in their computers. Seeing rising prices for products that don’t feature hardware improvements had me weary to begin with, but my recent experience with the “Genius’” at this Apple Store was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The Situation: My mid-2012 MBPr had a “service battery” indicator, so I brought it into the 29th St Mall Apple Store in Boulder, CO to have them take a look. After running a diagnostic, they concluded it was a defective battery and would perform the replacement free of charge. After having it a few days, they called me to say they would no longer honor their quoted work because they said there “appeared to be water damage”, which I assure you I have NEVER spilt any liquids on ANY of my devices. Ever. But they said I did, so I told them to button it back up, and I would just come grab it. I’ve been used to carrying a power cord with me, so it should be business as normal. I picked up my laptop and returned home only to find out it no longer turns on. At all. So, I called 1-800-MY-APPLE and spoke with a senior tech support agent in Cupertino who walked through all the rebooting tricks with me, none of which worked. The agent decided to call the store that performed “the repair” and called me back 30 minutes later to inform me that the Genius Admin had told him that it probably doesn’t work because “the customer tossed or threw the laptop in the store after we gave it back to him.” ….Really?! wwwhy would I do that? I informed him that they straight-up LIED to him, and I want them to pull security footage to SHOW ME throwing my laptop, or anything similar in nature. This senior advisor informed me that he could’ve helped me with the repair had it not been for my apparent “throwing my own laptop in the store.” His hands were tied, so I went straight into the store and started talking to the manager about the issue. After waiting another 30+ minutes for the manager and his cohorts to get on the same sheet-of-music, he returns to tell me that the admin “must’ve confused you with another customer that had a similar issue”. I had to stop him mid-lie and explain to him that everything is tracked by serial number, I’m not an idiot, you’re boy hiding in the back is simply trying to cover his tracks and save his job. I then suggested he clear the airwaves and notify the senior tech advisor that incorrect information was passed along, and I did not damage my own computer. Manager’s response: “No, I’m not going to do that.” Me: “So what now, I’m just SOL? I bring a fully functional computer in, into APPLE, and pick it up completely Dead. That’s MY fault?!” Manager: “…it had water damage, computers die. Not our fault.” In Summary: What was once a company that offered luxury products at luxury prices, now only retains the luxury prices. They simply want you to buy an overpriced $3,500 laptop that cannot be upgraded or even have the battery replaced. How environmentally friendly is it to throw out an entire computer when all it needs is a battery replacement? Not possible with everything glued and soldered in to a machine that will only have you in their store with them telling you “It’s dead, buy a new one.” No more “luxury” specs, features, and most importantly, customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNETHICAL STORE!!! They will break your devices and blame you for it.

Jaden Tuma

I came in today because my MacBook Pro wouldn’t boot after an update. Fortunately, Nicole got me with a technician within an hour and even let me leave to run errands while I waited! I came back at the end of the hour to be greeted by my technician Zach moments after walking in the door. Zach was super knowledgeable and help me recover my data before taking my MacBook in overnight for software repairs. I’m very happy with the service I received and will most definitely be back for any future needs!

Frank Braker

It's practically worthless to write a review of a specific store, unless there was a particular employee to focus about. This review is about Apple's retail process in general. They still rely on tribal knowledge of employees at each individual store, rather than a database collecting product knowledge similar to Newegg. What this means, is you the customer better know more than the store employees, or you'll be at their mercy. Don't bother trusting them to know what they are talking about. Do your homework, know exactly what you need. The only convenience provided by the store presence is immediate product availability. It's really a shame. For relatively cheap they could correct their process and have expert knowledge independent of any particular employee's expertise. I'm really baffled by my experience here.

Trevor DeField

Long wait! But his service

Brenda Smith

Tech service was fine. BUT the store is so noisy you can barely hear a conversation and there is no public restroom. What is this trend to have spaces with such dismal accoustics?

Jack Miller

Yo my woman Nicole actually answered my damn question. Love these guys please promote she helped me with my history question. <3

Went in to purchase an iPhone and was fortunate to have Hadia help me. She was knowledgeable and patient, suggesting things that would be most helpful to me in the long run --- things that I hadn't considered and that someone more computer savvy might have. I am very appreciative of her help. She's an exemplary Apple representative.

Roy Romero

I came with a fit not going to lie. John the manager did an amazing job at calming me down. I saw how much he really cared about my frustration and how he did his absolute best, even went out of his way for me. I'm very thankful for John and Sean the tech. Thank you Apple Boulder!

Erin Rhodes

I had purchased an expensive phone case for my new iPhone and it had begun to crack in spots around the edges. Even though it had been slightly longer than the amount of time for exchanges, I took it in to see if I could exchange it for a new one. I was greeted and helped by a man named Dwight who was very friendly and quickly exchanged my case for a new, different kind. Thank you Dwight for making it a great customer experience.

gwarrdwyn .

Waited half an hour over my appointment time. Tried explaining that I needed to get back to work and could I just leave the laptop and come back when it is fixed. Rudest management EVER!

Bulakorn Chetbundit

They don’t work professionally. In fact, they don’t even know how fix anythings

Tim Gallagher

Repair team is pretty pathetic. Brought in a working Thunderbolt Display that would have issues when I repositioned the all-in-one cable. The repair team jiggled the cable, it flickered and then remained on til I left. I assumed they would test the cable(checking for proper connections, proper voltage, ground, whatever a diagnostic procedure for this product would entail) I was told it’s probably the cable, maybe the logic board. And that they would call after installing the cable and at that point if it didn’t fix the issue they would give me the option to replace the logic board or reinstall my original cable). Instead I got an email saying it was fixed and could pick it up, so I did(unfortunately I should have them show me it was working at the store)when I got home the display didn’t work at all. So apparently now I can’t have the new cable removed and my money refunded. Why would I continue down a repair procedure of just throwing parts at the problem. The best they can do is make sure they didn’t install the cable wrong(WTF). I paid about $170 dollars for them to break my display. Thanks a lot. Update: so they reinspected the cable install. Said they had to “re-seat” the cable, now everything works. Thanks for trying to scam me into buying an unnecessary logic board. Not sure if it’s the employees at this store or apples fault(possibly a bad diagnostic procedure). But I recommend going anywhere else for apple repairs.

Jaron Maclin

You realize you skipped the iphone 9 right? How does one go from 8 to X, it just doesn't work sadly. Steve Jobs didn't die for this

Randy Clark

Employees at this location were rude and spoke down to me and my mom. I also called the store before going, and spent 20 minutes on hold and nobody answered the phone.

Kat McNutt

I ordered a laptop for store pick up at this location. They were closed yesterday due to weather, which is entirely understandable. However they did not post any special hours on their website and I just arrived here this morning at 10 when they open to pick up my computer for work. I drove in about 45 minutes with a nine-month-old and work is about an hour and a half away. They are closed till noon in spite of clear roads and employees inside the store already.I was told by Apple corporate that they could make an exception and allow me to get my pick up early if they chose to. They put me through to the store and the gentleman on the line said that they would not make an exception. I will likely not patronize this location again and will continue to give my business to the Flatirons location. Now I have to drive from Boulder to Fort Collins sans my $3,700 laptop and make another special trip into Boulder to get my computer. This is not good customer service. Additionally, several people showed up while I was waiting outside and mentioned that they had appointments prior to 12 and have not even received a phone call to cancel. Bad business.

Austin jenkins

Most of the reviews are negative. I went in here last night to buy a new MacBook and to look into getting my girlfriends Apple Watch fixed. I was immediately greeted upon entry and asked how I could be helped. I was paired with someone to help me pick out a laptop and had completed my purchase in just over 10 minutes. As far as the watch went, I showed up without an appointment and was put in a queue. The wait time was a little long but they were clearly busy. Once helped the people were very friendly and helpful.

Fletcher Berryman

Unbelievable. I’m not sure I’m ever been more disappointed in a customer service interaction in my life. I purchased an Apple Watch an hour, an HOUR, ago from this store and noticed it had scratches on it. I brought it back and was told that I must have caused them. I have had this watch on since I walked out the door and have been nowhere with it but to drive my car. The lack of humility in insisting that it’s the customer’s fault and “impossible” for the company to have made a manufacturing error is beyond a shame. I’ve been purchasing and using Apple products since the Apple II as a kid and have maintained an exclusive loyalty to your products in both my personal and business life. That ends today. I encourage you, Apple, to have the willingness to admit fault and support your supporters as such brazen cockiness will be the death of you and of Silicon Valley as a whole (and frankly it’s already started). Pathetic. Zero stars.

Dan Mahoney

Hari (Havi? Not sure I was hearing him correctly) was awesome. I work in tech sales, so I have high standards. He was super knowledgeable, honest about it when he didn't know things, and resourceful about finding answers from other team members. I especially appreciated his discovering that I qualified for a better discount than what I initially asked him to apply.

Amos Rendao

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this store over the last 5 years. Always thoroughly impressed with their systems, products, and how well their employees are trained.

John Burke

Astonishing runaround from Apple as I try to make a Genius Bar appointment. The problem will be simple for the technicians to fix....BUT the arrogant, impersonal barriers between me and the Genius bar make me sorry I got involved with Apple. All I want is the ability to see when it would be convenient for me to stop in - and I don't want to have to take a blood test and prove citizenship before I can make the arrangement.

Sheri Signer

This store is completely disorganized. There is no sense of how to serve customers. No one knows who to talk to and when. People are waiting and they only see who comes in the door when they happen to be looking that way. The welcome staff was rude and extremely condescending. If you're just looking for a repair - support your local businesses and go to The Mac Shack or Boulder Mac repair - better prices and customer service.

Sandy Thrapp

Picked up new iPad. Quick, fast and friendly staff.

Paul Tew

when I call I want to talk to a person. A human. I don't want to sit on the phone with a computer for 10 minutes while they repeat everything I say to make sure the computer understands me. Just have your people answer the phone.

Karimbe Jimenez

I brought in my IPhone 6s Plus for a screen repair because me puppy dug her canines into my new screen, I know right. I initially didn't purchase apple care like my husband just because I never had any issues before and that was my mistake. Anyways without apple care replacement of the screen was $150 plus tax and it could be $300+ if the actual phone had been damaged. The tech was quick to put in the order and told me it would be 2 hours. I don't live in Boulder and couldn't stay and wait nor could I pick it up until the next day. When I took my initial case off to give my phone to the tech there was some slobber that was apparently dry by then. The next day I picked up my phone pretty late and I knew it was my phone because there was the slobber still on the back and my phone was dead, when you try to turn it on but u get that battery for a mere Seconds.i wanted the tech to help me connect my apple watch but I couldn't because it was dead and there was slobber. I understand that they had 2 hours to turn around my phone initially but it would've been ideal if they gave my phone a quick wipe I'd assume and I don't expect a charge but you know then maybe turn the phone off??? Overall that was the only let down. It's the closest apple near me.

Bowen Wright

Its a good place but at&t is better and the people that work there are mean.

I came with a fit not going to lie. John the manager did an amazing job at calming me down. I saw how much he really cared about my frustration and how he did his absolute best, even went out of his way for me. I'm very thankful for John and Sean the tech. Thank you Apple Boulder!

Waited half an hour over my appointment time. Tried explaining that I needed to get back to work and could I just leave the laptop and come back when it is fixed. Rudest management EVER!

Bulakorn Chetbundit

They don’t work professionally. In fact, they don’t even know how fix anythings

You realize you skipped the iphone 9 right? How does one go from 8 to X, it just doesn't work sadly. Steve Jobs didn't die for this

Employees at this location were rude and spoke down to me and my mom. I also called the store before going, and spent 20 minutes on hold and nobody answered the phone.

Pathetic. Zero stars.

The representative was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this store.
