Yes Apple is more expensive then other stand electronics... That said your paying for 2 bug extras. 1) it just works. And 2) if it doesn't work you get the genius bar and they fix it fast... The other part that most people miss it the one on one training you can sign up for.

Not a fan of their service seeing as how one actually needs to always make an appointment for any and every reason you might need to be there for. Also, you don't always get a notification for when your appointment is ready, and must then guesstimate when you think it is time to check back in. Space is small and feels stuffy. Staff is not easy to quickly identify also. The ability to purchase items on your own through one's device is great though.

They told me 2 times that I was next in line and they passed by me like I was there as a begger/like if I was gonna ask for a free service. I was gonna spend my hard earned money on an apple pruduct

I love the product but the employees could be more responsive.

I went to store to get my iPhone battery replaced in December. Apple got some heat for their love of planned obsolescence and had reduced the cost of replacement to $30 over it. I went in for my appointment and was told that they were out of batteries. They did not cancel the appointment because they wanted me to come in so they could try to sell me a new phone instead. I was told that I could come back later and they would honor the price. I held off on rescheduling since I did not want to waste more time going in when they can't help. I came back a 2 months later and was told that I would have to pay $50 instead of $30. I explained what happened, but they gave me some bs about how no one was able to override the price. They said they sent me an email and called me when they had the batteries. I checked my junk mail when i got home and had never received and email. I also know that if they did call, they did not leave a voice mail, otherwise I would have responded. Apple is the richest company in the world, they are known for their exorbitant prices, and when they drop the ball, they have the gall to refuse to offer what they said they would without charging an extra $20. I don't live close and ended up wasting a couple hours over this whole ordeal just to get nothing because apple doesn't feel any obligation honor their word. Look at the reviews of apple stores and non apple owned apple repair centers and I think you'll know where it make more sense to get service. MacOS and IOS are usually pretty good, too bad you have to buy overpriced hardware that the manufacturer won't service to use them.

We really appreciated the staff's honesty and attempts to make all of our requests happen. It didn't all work out the way we wanted, but that wasn't the staff's fault, and they made every attempt to make it work for us.

Terrible service and totally poor work flow! Makes me want to give-up Apple products

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I made a reservation with the store to get my phone screen fixed and they denied me service because they already had "too many phones in service." What was the point of my reservation then? Rescheduled my appointment a week later (soonest they could get me in) not only did the store not fix my phone but returned my phone to me COMPLETELY DESTROYED. I brought my phone in with 3 hairline cracks in it and walked out with my screen not only shattered, but the screen won’t even light up! When I said something to the manager she kept saying the same thing over, obviously was sticking to a script. Customer service is absolutely horrible there. Management has no idea how to run a store and have a "don't care" attitude. I highly recommend they get new management with people who actually know how to problem solve. I contacted Apple Help about this problem and I spoke to a customer service representative who was excellent and helpful! She replaced my phone FOR FREE and apologized for the way Flatirons treated me and my situation. The management at this Apple Store could learn a thing or two from real customer service representatives.

When my screen broke, I took it to fix my phone at the orchard and they replaced it with everything working fine. Later, I had my phone battery replaced at the apple store genius and the service tech told me that the screen replacement from fix my phone was "shoddy" and that the display home button feature would no longer work and that it was the fault of bad workmanship at find my phone. Well, the manager at fix my phone addressed the issue the next day and pointed out to me that the work done at the apple genius bar may have been lacking as well. I don't know a lot about iphones, but, he took me in the back and showed me irregularities that really made sense. At that point, it would have been easy for him to throw the apple tech under the bus, but, he said the problem was "neither here nor there" and that they would simply fix the issue. So, they replaced the display as a warranty item without issue. After 2 visits to the apple genius store and 2 visits to fix my phone, my trust and respect goes to fix my phone for quality, service and a commitment to an exceptional customer experience. Apple genius bar... you totally disappointed.

Trenton Westover

Had a genius appointment to have my iPhone X repaired and have nothing but great things to say. The gentleman Charles that assisted me was great and very personable. Had my screen replaced by the Apple geniuses and I’m very pleased with the results! Keep up the good work!

Amanda Freeman

Wow, I wish I had read the reviews of this store before I went in. I expected it to be busy since the new phone was released. HOWEVER, of the three people I interacted with while I was there, NONE of them actually LISTENED to what I was looking for! Literally, got ushered in and reserved a phone even though all I wanted to do was ask a few questions about the upgrade program. None of the people stopped long enough to actually pay attention to what I was saying and ended up wasting their own time. Because of the lack of basic customer service skills I decided I'd buy it somewhere else. So disappointed after being such a dedicated apple user.

Richard Ryer

You have to have an appointment to talk to anyone. It is like a cult in there. Everyone is drinking Apple Koolaide. I refuse to make an appointment to buy a cell phone. The place is packed so there are a lot of cult followers. I don't get it. I won't be in your way.

I've been going to this Apple store for the past 7 years. I have always had great experience until recently. I was experiencing an issue with the keyboard on my MacBook Pro. Went in to the store and they stated there was a design flaw on the laptop and they would replace the keyboard at no cost. I was told the repair would be completed in store and take 3-5 days. On day 5 I had not heard anything from the store and the service status on the website just listed that the computer had been received. I called the store and they said that they damaged another part when making the repair and needed to wait for a replacement part. Another 5 days go by and they call me. They said that they received the part they damaged, but they broke another part. The laptop would need to be sent to their repair center. The laptop showed back up at the store a week later and I went in to pick it up. The computer was brought out and I asked for details regarding the repair. The employee just said that they replaced the keyboard. I said that they had told me they damaged other items and I wanted to know what was repaired / replaced. She kept repeating that they replaced the keyboard and it was free. I know it was free. When I pushed the employee for details of the repair she repeated it's free and turned around and walked away. Avoid this store if you can. If you have to go in for a repair I would insist they send it out. Don't let them repair it in store.

Darlene Lopez

Terrible customer service! I had an appointment and didn’t receive the help I needed. The employee was very rude. I could see why the store has these ratings, will not be returning.

I went in after speaking with Apple Care to get my iPhone fixed. Unfortunately they didn't offer me the chance to make an appointment so I walked in on a very busy Sunday afternoon. I was told it would be about an hour and a half until they could get me in. OK fine, they were busy so I walked around the mall for awhile. Right on schedule I received a text saying to head back to the store. Once I arrived I was seated with a tech who was helping another woman as well. Quickly realized that by "fixing" my iPhone they were just going to give me a replacement phone, which was very unexpected. Ender was the tech (amazing name btw) and he was very quick and knowledgeable. I was impressed by his ability to multi task both of us he was helping. He got my new phone up and running and even called Verizon while I was there to activate the phone so I was sure to walk out with my phone working. It took all of 20 minutes and I was quite impressed. Thanks guys!

Andrea Johnson

The staff is super nice but not terribly knowledgeable about things. Any time there's a new phone that comes out it seems like they are understaffed but they do offer snacks and water during the long, long wait. It took 3 visits in person and 7 phone calls to resolve an issue with their iPhone upgrade program which I do not recommend.

Edward Rothschild

Horrid support. After making an appointment with Genius Desk (4 days out), and spending two hours at the Apple Store - I was told the techs would have to assess my IMac (used in our business as our primary design station). Spoke to Tech staff a day later - gave them permission to wipe hard drive (which I already told them they could do)- and they were ordering logic board and RAM. Tech emailed two days later - just asking to call. I then spent 25 minutes on hold to be told that they would need to order logic board "was that OK?" - it would take several days to get in. Why wasn't it ordered when they said it would be? Why do they make you sit on hold just to be told for the third time to fix the machine? It is covered by my purchase of AppleCare. I will now be 2 weeks out with the machine and likely to spend more time on hold. Apple service, and especially their "I understand sentences" phone system - sucks.

Danny Randles

It took a while for someone to help us. And it took while for the download, but the person that helped was very helpful.

Megan Reiter

Don’t bother making an appointment for repair because you will likely show up and be told they already have too many phones to service that day. They wanted me to leave my phone with them or come back another day for a battery change that I was told should only take about an hour.

Celeste Weaver

Great service, Christian was extremely helpful, and friendly. Defiantly going back. :)

Tyler Bevington

If every store was operated like the Apple Store, we'd never get anything done. All I wanted to do was replace a faulty charger that was still under warranty. I didn't make an appointment because it was a matter of chance that I was able to stop by when I did. The first gatekeeper told me it would be a 20-30 minute wait. So I did. The second gatekeeper, a "Genius", came out to find out what my problem was but told me most likely it was an "out of warranty issue" and that I'd have to wait for another "Genius" to verify when I purchased the item. I waited another 10 minutes and finally had to leave to make it to a meeting. What I thought could be a quick trip to replace a defective product turned into a 45-minute utter waste of time. In any other store operated by any other business, I could have just stood in a line to speak to someone about a issue (no "Genius required) and had it resolved. At the Apple Store, every smug employee goes out of their way to make you feel inferior and that any problem you're having is YOUR fault. It doesn't take a genius to quickly check when you purchased an item to determine if it is still under warranty. I'm getting very close to quitting this company altogether, both for their lack of customer service and their product quality.

You would think with the amount of people that are staffed here, you could be in and out with no problem. With the amount of money people spend on the products, you would think they would be able to take your business seriously. I always have a problem with this location. I went in to get a screen protector. a simple in and out thing. Walking in and they ask what you’re in for. Tell them a screen protector and they send over an accessories person. He’s asking questions about whatever. You just need a screen protector, I mean pick one, you pay, they put it on and you leave. Well he tells me that there is a kiosk outside the store and they sell them. Um okay?! The reason I go to Apple is because I only buy from Apple for my iPhone. I felt like he could have cared less to help me and to push me off to the other store. Maybe he didn’t want to put it on for me, didn’t know how. I don’t know. I didn’t go to the kiosk because I already got a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll only do business with Apple online.

Hippie Gypsy

Whitney at the Genius Bar is amazing! She is friendly, attentive and really knows her stuff! She corrected all my 5s issues in minimal time. Unfortunately, my phone went back to it's old habits after syncing as a new phone. (Time for a trade-in.) Thanks so much Whitney!!

Brenda Weaver

Loved the store and the people, very prompt to help. The service was great, Christian fixed my phone quickly and very kind.

They have amazing phones, but they service isn't the best. You could be stuck in lines for up to 3 hours. When I forgot my password, I was on the phone on hold for 1 hour. I finally hung up, but they still have amazing product and there devices, such as phones, work great!

Leo Mindlin

Extremely rude staff. We had to wait 20 minutes for an order that was “ready for pickup.” Had to ask for help 3 times, and were told they were busy with other customers.

JOSAY R

2 hours and 15 min wait to hear what is that you need, everyone from apple services refused at all times to simply listen what was the problem with my iphone, unless you are buying something new

Kevin c

Awful experience Jacob called me and the Verizon store liars and erased all my data....still have the same problem. Would not warranty the phone after waiting over 2 hours. Internal Antenna issue ...so much hate for that apple store and the pushy rude employees. Verizon sent me for an exchange and they refused all together. Waste of a day

Daniel L

Go to kiosk in front of the Apple store for repairs. Wife and father in law were in the Apple store with an appointment for an hour for a battery replacement. The Apple workers wouldn’t help them replace the battery until it turned on. Which it obviously wouldn’t, if it did they wouldn’t have been in there. I could understand if the battery was under a free replacement warranty to run a diagnostics. But we were paying for a new battery so why do they care if it worked or didn’t. We were purchasing a new one regardless. The kiosk outside of the store fixed it for $40 in under 10 minutes. Good thing I asked the guy or we would of been waiting all day.

Shawn Stone

If you receive a time for the completion of your battery replacement, quadruple the time to return and don't waste your day at the mall waiting. I was given a time to return for a iPhone repair and consequently had 2 more estimates when they failed to meet their estimate. A hour long estimated repair turned into a 4.5 hour wait. My phone was returned with rubberized sealant tearing under my screen from the "technicians" and was told that it passed QC when I questioned their work. I wished I took photos of my phone before going into the repair so I could portray just how much worse the edge around the screen really looks after a battery replacement. All in all, 4 times the estimated wait time, a wasted day off of work, and a visually tattered iPhone later, I would never return to this store. Take your tech products elsewhere to a different Apple store.

Jesus Quintero

Had a great experience, they were super busy. But we're able to get to my issue in less than 10 min. Guy there was able to see the issue, and had me fix it, rather than do it him self, so that way I knew how to do it in case it happened again. That's great customer service to me

Dawn Garcia

One star is one star too many. Had an appointment for the Genius bar because I dropped my phone. Upon entering the store, was intercepted by 2 guys who looked at my phone, told me essentially that I am technologically impaired, to go home, run the diagnostics and if need be, Apple would send me a little box to drop the phone in and send off for repairs. I said that I had an appointment and had driven over an hour to get there, and asked if I could still see a Genius. They said " ...it will take an hour and a half to run diagnostics...its not your phone.." and nodded in condescending unison. They wouldn't even let me have my appointment. Guess what??? My phone is still not working properly. Pretty sure it's not all me. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Going to the Cherry Creek store from now on.

Maddie Green

I’ve always had great customer service at this location! Only complaint is it’s always super busy and crowded.

Joshua Farrington

If anyone has a problem with an Apple product I would highly advise this store to ANYONE. The technicians there are extremely polite and have the best customer service I have ever experienced. I would really quick like to say that the gentleman who helped me was named Steve, and that he deserves a pat on the back from either his boss or manager if they read this. He was such a huge helped and was literally the best. Below is the details of my visit if anyone's interested in how the employees interact with customers. Okay, I'm not an Apple person, and I do not use Apple products, but my dad does. When his iPhone 7+ had a swelled battery he called the store, had a time set up, and then he proceeded to get the up most customer service. I went with my Dad to help him through the process of getting a new battery, and the employees acted extremely professional and helped my Dad (who is not great with tech) get a new phone. The whole process was extremely easy and the technician explained everything very well. In the end my Dad walked out of the store with a brand new phone, instead of a replaced battery, with everything backed up on his iCloud, and he got all of this completely free and covered by warranty and there was no hassle at all.

Kristen Nolan

Ugh. Horrible. Second trip in to try to fix a battery issue. The first time it wasn't "broken enough." It wasn't a warranty issue and I was quite willing to pay for it. Their solution was to upgrade the OS. I wasn't in a negotiating mood that day so I gave up at went home. Today, I had an appointment and I was 5 minutes early. After sitting there for 45 minutes and watching someone come in after me, get helped and leave, I gave up and left. After 45 minutes you would think they would have at least done their fake "tell me about your problem so I can get started working on it" spiel.

Jay Kailey

Shout out to Riley For helping me out in this Apple store yesterday when I was crying because the price was so high. My laptop that I had had since high school graduation ( seven years ago ) finally broke and I needed a product that will replace it into my adulthood. I’m a graduate student and can’t afford much of anything so this was seriously going to put me in the red. Riley was super kind, calm and understanding and didn’t belittle me at all or try to sell me any superfluous add on products to go with the new laptop. Definitely still not a fan of Apple in general probably a super corrupt company…but I gotta give the guy credit for Handling a super stressed out crying girl perfectly.

Jeremy Sutton

Good store location

Brad Powell

Great store but always sooooo busy. It can be difficult to get help.

Jesse Horne

Helpful staff

Brenda Weaver

Loved the store and the people, very prompt to help. The service was great, Christian fixed my phone quickly and very kind.

skylar mercer

Hakha Momeni

I've never been an apple fan for many reasons. But this one if the worst, why when I want to spend thousands of dollars buying something (not for me, just a present for someone) I have to wait for hours? I think they purposely do this even when there are not many people in the shop. Very customer unfriendly .. some staff members are arrogant .. let me be clear, this is not during a product launch, it's always like that. Hire more people or open more shops.

Far Mon

Helpful staff, but the store doesn't have everything, I wanted to get a iPad and it was not available at this store. Also except wait time or make an appointment online

Ryan Badgett

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Please do not waste your time even thinking about using them as an option....

byronfernandez

I’ve been a loyal customer of Verizon/Apple for 15-years now. There’s something magical about how Apple and my Sales Expert, Riley, turned a time-consuming 3-4 hour ordeal/back and forth (after a long day at work) with Verizon Core Solutions into a pleasant, positive experience trading in and upgrading my phone. Which is why I use Verizon for service — but trade-in/upgrade directly with Apple. Thank you for providing Stellar, Exemplary service Riley. The man deserves a hefty raise/promotion

I've had many good experiences with the Flatiron Crossing Genius bar over the years, but not this time. Starting nearly a month ago, I brought my phone in with a battery issue. I let them know ahead of time that I had a "battery needs to be serviced" warning on my phone, but instead of letting me know that a battery would need to be ordered, they had me come in so they could tell me that in person, they checked and made sure my phone qualified for a repair (no water damage). They said they had ordered the battery and would call me to have it installed. Weeks went by with no contact - I contacted Apple customer service... no battery had been ordered. Customer service ordered a battery and had it sent to to the Flatiron's Apple store. Tuesday the Apple store called at let me know my battery was in, and that I could stop by anytime before 9 to have the batter installed. We arrived by 7, and was told they couldn't install it that day. I could try another day, or I could leave the phone.... I left it, received no contact from them that anything was wrong. Came to pick it up, and the price was over $300 more than the quoted price. Turns out that they were just going to replace it with another iphone 6, because one of the water sensors had been tripped.

Mark S

Had a great experience at this store today. I was having an issue with my iPhone 7. Brian and Jen helped me with the issue above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for! I am “newer” to Apple and have been a little skeptical since I was a diehard droid fan since they first came out. They proved to me why Apple is the best. I am now a permanent and satisfied member of the “Apple Community”. Thanks Again!!

Darrick Christopher

Jax was great! Did the right thing by the customer even though system told her something different. Excellent example of customer service!

Im not usually one to write a review, but I went in to say for my iPad and my iPhone. They were busy as normal and things I need done took some time but their customer service was amazing! They did an amazing job with helping me with all my need and over all jus did an exceptional job! Thank you so much for having such a great staff on hand

My girlfriend got a new iPhone XS, a device that costs more than 1000 dollars. We go to Verizon store, phone is bad not SIM card. Go to the apple store, state the SIM is not working and connect the network. The apple representative checks us in, states that they can give us a text to let us know the appointment is ready. This makes no sense because her phone cannot get text messages. States please be back here at 11:25 to check in. We com back at that specific time, ohh you have been delayed by 5 minutes please come back in 5 we will send you a text - again Apple doesn’t listen. Come back in five, ohh you been delay another five minutes. My perspective is the Apple is training DRONES not people that can think.

I wish i could take my apple products which our household has 11, phones, ipads, computers, ipods... to an independent repair store for warranty work... This store is terrible on their best day... and plain ridiculous on their worst !!!

I love it cause the are fast with service

John McQuaide

Excellent! Eager, helpful folks here.

Jared Romero

The customer service is terrible I purchased a phone case and the credit card reader charged my card 3 times because they kept removing the card before actual approved screen. Showed the manager Tyler my bank statement and was no help. Went to Apple Store in boulder and they were able to resolve the issue.

Dan Martin

Inattentive staff. Doesn't know much about their products.

Вера Честнова

the service was disgusting. the teresita manager could not help us within 3 hours after we reported the return. we only got help after closing the store after calling apple support

Jordan Gruener

Not the phone number of the store. Just to Apple generally. I've been on hold for 18 minutes so far without speaking to a person.

Lori Scott

I came in with out an appointment because my screen was cracked and I couldn’t use it to make an appointment. They told me it was 30 minutes wait and they would text me to come back. They texted me to come back within 5 minutes and then I waited 20 minutes at the Genius Bar. I was told to return at 2pm. I got back at 2pm and they took 5 minutes to tell me it would take 15 more minutes. I said I wish you would have contacted me prior to let me know you were running behind. He said- “we don’t have have a phone in the repair room.” Is it me or is it ridiculous that the Apple store (maker of the i-phone) doesn’t have a phone to provide a courtesy of letting their consumer they are running late.

Amber Bravo

We had an appointment and it was super easy

Justin Bridges

Ppl there were helpful but the problem is now my phones logic board is what I’m being told is broken, so I have to take more of my time to go back and pick up my repaired 800 dollar phone that I’ve been paying for only for it to continuously mess up and miss a third day or work because I can’t use my phone since I deliver and use the gps all day. So I’m missing out on money to fix the phone that costs money. A vicious cycle in which apple doesn’t care one bit. Sadly I will never ever buy another apple product in my life thanks to the terrible customer service, poor product insurance and lack of effort or anything really on apples part. Apple sucks. I also hear the androids cameras are much better anyways I want a new android.

Aaron Mote

This store is a bad apple. Rookie managers and bad customer service. Update. I went to another Apple Store and the manager promptly took care of my issue, for free. The manager at this store had told me it would be $130 after his employee told me $30. This store really needs new management, somebody 30+ years old would be great.

Ken DeCesari

Make sure you have an appointment if you want service. In my experience it takes several days, a full business week, for that to happen. Customer service reps here are less condescending than in Boulder.

Tiana Rodriguez

I walked in to get help on my MacBook Pro and set an appointment. The estimated time was about and hour but they ended up taking me in much earlier. They successfully figured out what was wrong with my laptop and I had to leave it for them to work on it. They told me that it would take about 2-3 hours to fix and it only took one! I was very pleased with the service.

Cades Ames

It’s not horrible but still pretty bad. A lot of the workers there don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Kids also hog up the devices when other people want to look at them.

chefpete88 .

Initial service was great and they helped us start the solution. But there was no follow up once our Apple Genius left to finish troubleshooting. We ended up leaving since there was no one else available.

Jared Hendrickson

I went in for 2 genius bar appointments. One for my MBP and on for my iphone. The Genius was very patient and helpful. Great service I would expect from Apple.

Azzam

Long waits even when you have an appointment in advance.

Corey Reichert

Long story short: I took my perfectly working iphone in to get a new battery replacement, and i came out with a broken phone that i now have to replace!!!! So i came into this apple store to replace the battery on my iPhone 6s plus. I dropped my phone off and when i came back to pick up my phone they said they didn’t replace it because there was water damage to the device, and it was against their policy. And i have never been aware of my phone ever getting wet, unless you consider taking your phone out to make a call while it’s raining, and I’ve had an otter box on it since i got the phone. I get out to my car to make a phone call and wouldn’t you know it I can’t hear anything when i make a phone call when it worked perfectly fine before i went into the store! When I first brought my phone in they ran diagnostics on it and everything was working fine. When i brought my phone in after I couldn’t make a phone call they ran the diagnostics again and sure enough they said the audio receiver was malfunctioning, however they said they couldn’t fix it because there had been water damage to the phone. So bottom line... i took my perfectly working phone in to get a new battery, and didn’t get a new battery and was given back a broken phone that i now have to replace. I called Apple support and they basically said tough luck.

Shelley Maish

I read some of these reviews before I went to the Flatirons location yesterday. I had a WONDERFUL experience from the moment Brian greeted me at the door, while Kristina helped me buy a new Iphone, and with Patrick when he helped me set up my new phone and reset a Mini. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful AND Patient. I highly recommend their services at Flatirons!! Shelley

I had issues with my iPhone 7 since a month. If I insert the charging wire, it doesn’t hold firmly and after some time it just falls out. Couldn’t figure out the issue. I went to this store in Broomfield. I spoke to the store associate Mr. Russel. What an awesome associate he was.. he just took a needle and completely cleaned the charging port and I was surprised to see a huge mass of dust coming out of it which may have obstructed the charging. He resolved my issue within no time. Awesome!! Thank you so much Russell.

Apple Flat Irons is my very favorite shopping and learning experience.

Poor customer service structure, I just visited the store today to get a defective usb power supply for my new watch replaced. The one that came with the watch did not work right out of the box, (it is impossible to make things perfectly and is understandable that there will be a few defective ones in a batch). Walked into the store and was greeted very quickly by an older male associate. I proceeded to tell him my unfortunate luck about the usb power supply and his response was that I had two options: I could buy a new one and be done with it, or wait for a customer service representative (which was a 30 min wait). This ultimatum pissed me off. Basically what he was telling me is that I can wait 30 minutes or if my time is more valuable, then just pay for a new one. This is poor customer service. Then in order to get the privilege to talk to a customer service representative, he required that I give him all my information, including phone number and email address. With the 20+ employees in the store and at least 5 of them were just hanging out, I would think it would be pretty cut and dry to just swap out something that was clearly defective right out of the box. When we did get to talk to someone, 45 minutes later, it took less than 5 minutes and the guy was very courteous and prompt. It is clear where apple stands on customer service. They have a multitude of associates asking every 30 seconds if you want to buy something, but when something is wrong with the product that was bought from them, you have to make an appointment. Apple seems to be resting pretty high on their laurels since people are lining up at the door and packing the stores. They are forgetting that customer service is a crucial role in long term survival for a “consumer” product based company. I love that apple is a US based company and their products are very good quality. That should support a company philosophy that when something does go wrong, then good customer service should be implemented since defective products are less common. My opinion is that they are putting sales and profits before innovation and customer service. Rant over, f off Broomfield apple store!

Harold Krieger

Associate was kind of rude and pushy.

yavie Lucero

I love the people they have working their attitude and their knowledge is so awesome

Yovana Milosevic

I drove 45 minutes out to get my phone battery replaced, and it was free even though it was out of the warranty date because they recognized it was Apple's fault. Their system messed up and spit me out of their queue, causing me to wait an extra 30 minutes even though I had a reservation, but the manager later apologized and offered to give me a free phone case or other accessory. They definitely did what they could to compensate for their system's malfunction, and I appreciate that they were so considerate of my time.

Associate was kind of rude and pushy.

I love the people they have working their attitude and their knowledge is so awesome

I recently worked with Audree at the FlatIrons location for new computers for my entire company. She was WONDERFUL to work with - held my hand every step of the way, and was able to offer great macs that fit my business needs and my budget. So happy with my experience!

W C

I got an alert saying my item was ready for pickup. Came to the store only to find a line of people waiting outside because they didn’t open until 11 am that day.

This review is for both Apple and the Apple Store at Flatirons. I stayed up until 1:00 to pre-order the iPhoneX so I could have it in my hands by Nov 3rd. I went through the process online and used the Verizon upgrade program option that was given to me. Which I was only given two options; one to go with Apple upgrade program or Verizon. Naturally I selected verizon because that is my carrier. Submit my order and receive a message stating that Apple has given me a reservation number for my phone but they needed to contact the carrier first. This morning I received my second email stating they have contacted the carrier and I need to complete my order before the next 24 hours or I lose my reservation. What they don't mention clearly is; you are not getting a phone on Nov 3rd because of the B.S. between Verizon and Apple. Before I find this out though, Apple support tells me I need to go to the store and this will get taken care of. So I rushed to the Apple store and had the worst experience I have ever had. They talked to me as if I made the mistake and offered no help. Apple days might be over for me!

Rachell Buell

Poor customer service experience. No way to contact the store itself except to go there directly. Zero human factor.

Eric Wallen

I called in to ask if they price match and was told yes. I even mentioned the price I was looking to price match to and the place and was told they would do it. After driving for 40 minutes there I was very dissapointed to find out that they only price match up to 10%. Huge waist of time!!!

Katie McTaggart

Fastest phone upgrade/change ever! Was in and out in less than an hour, traded in 3 devices and purchased 2 phones and restored from iCloud both phones. I always dread this but it was a fast and pleasant experience.

Carlos Botello

Staff can be very helpful and knowledgeable

I have to say my experience was unpleasant. After waiting an hour and a half for what I was told could be a 15 minute or 3 hour wait I was "offered" a $500 "business" option to skip ahead in the line for the genius bar. Of which I had mentioned I had liquid damage to my macbook pro and just needed check it in for repair, and there was nothing to try and figure out on the spot. Over the 90 minutes I was there I saw a variety of "techs" who in retrospect could have checked in my computer. But due to policy(?) waited instead and wandered until their "appointments" arrived. The store manager offed to explain why this was happening, but after the $500 offer to skip the line I wasn't interested much in what he had to say. I will avoid this store from here on out and do my business shopping elsewhere.

Apple has always been amazing for customer service, However it’s gotten harder in harder for them to being willing to fix issues on the devices that are still under 1 years warranty. I believed it’s because of the issues surrounding the iphone battery’s and macbook keyboard issues, it’s cause help to be tougher on warranty, The training should be better on how they handle the customer on the issues though. telling a long time apple customer they’re just trying to take advantage of the warranty process isn’t the right way to talk to Any customer!!!

Lane Reimer

I went in for an appointment today and waited 30 min for someone to help me and no one showed up. This is unacceptable and I will never go back here.

Larry Modak

Terrible customer service! Went to this store to buy a computer for one of my employees. No one talked to me or asked if I need help or possibly make an appointment to TALK TO SOMEONE! 6 employees standing around talking with each other waited 10 minutes and left. If I treated my customers this way...wouldn't be long before I would be out of business. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I guess I’m the only one that’s not a complete idiot, and isn’t oblivious to their own surroundings. I’m giving it 5 stars because I had an amazing experience there! Extremely helpful, from everyone That helped me. I screwed up on my own and scheduled an appointment I couldn’t make but was quickly made another. As I was waiting what 15 mins because I showed up 15 mins before my appointment, I witnessed the dumbest people, waiting hours to ask the dumbest questions. Also, why are you trying to scam the employees, they’re not dumb! Anyways, I received my email my laptop was back from repair, and the only complaint I really have is that there isn’t an Apple store in Fort Collins, it’s expensive for me to get there! Not the stores fault... Tl;dr: consumers are negative and take to the internet to scam the employees and company. I had a great experience because I’m an ethical adult, would return!

Went in yesterday to ask if it’s possible to replace a battery on an iPod and she kept telling me how old it was, they don’t support it, wow that sure is old, etc. I repeated my question a few times - does the unit allow for a replaceable battery? but she didn’t really know and was just rude. Just got back from the Apple store@Flatiron Crossing after work done on a new (2017) 15" Macbook Pro with the common keyboard failure issue. Work was done very well. Taking off a star for two reasons: 1) when I went in to drop the unit off a week ago, I waited well over an hour even though I had the appropriate Mac appointment. Reason given "oh, we lost your check-in." 2) Repair took 40% longer than promised. HOWEVER - today's pickup of that unit was flawless and it is 100% functional again. Also, I had a great experience with Mac genius "Amber" who offered up a way to get my old Macbook Air 11 keyboard key fixed for next to nothing - and now it's perfect once again. Bravo for your service, Amber!

I went into this store early in the morning (around 10:30AM) so there was only a couple of other customers in the store. There was around 5 employees just standing around. Then he rushed to help the next person who walked into the store. I tried to get help from a different employee but I was completely ignored again. I like this place, the service it's fast and friendly. I have bought phones here a lot of times and never had any problems. The store is clean and organized.

Sir Beckman

Walked in to look at a new computer, was not greeted by anyone, was in there for 20 minutes with nobody even coming to check on us to see if we needed help. No wonder i try not to come in here. This isn't the only time this has happened either.....still disappointed on this store.

I tried to return an iPhone 7 today, still sealed in the box, that was 4 days outside the return window. Something I've done before but for some reason this was a courtesy that was impossible to extend to me today. Considering the long list of other items I've purchased for my business from Apple over the years, including another iPhone on this same order, it baffles me why they'd want to completely blow a good customer experience and burn up so much good will over 4 days. Only Steve Jobs knows... Return on day 14? Absolutely! Return on day 18? What an outrageous request! This phone is actually still on backorder at the moment. Garbage.

Nate Currey

This place is awesome and deserves credit for EXCEPTIONAL customer service! By far, the absolute worst customer service ever. Went through the motions of setting up an appointment with their "genius" bar for a broken iPhone screen. Appointment was set for 2:30, however, knowing they would need to keep the phone for repairs or at least drop it off, swung by at 1PM, to simply just drop it off. Explained that yes, my appointment was not for another hour and a half, however, being Father's Day, instead of sitting and waiting around, I just wanted to drop it off and they could call my wife's phone for any questions. Needless to say, was told to have a seat at the Genius Bar and someone would be right with us. After sitting for 35 minutes, I asked a store rep how much longer and they said I should be helped in less than 5 minutes. I waited 15 more minutes and was never acknowledged, and told the same store rep, thank you anyways, and proceeded to leave the store. Never once was I asked what the problem was, apologized to(which was not necessarily needed had someone acknowledged me). Very last person standing by the entrance, was the store manager, who "thanked" me for the business. I began to explain to him the frustration, and all that was said is, please just have a seat, someone will be right with you. Thanks anyways, you guys are absolutely terrible and have no sense on what customer service is.

Tai Le

The worst customer service overall Apple stores. Don’t sale the phone because it take 20 mins! I came the day before and they were cool and willing to check out the phone even 10 mins til closing! I guess depend on the mood of the manager then! Very disappointed!

Jenn Carr

The employees were excellent and my helper was Jennifer she was so helpful and made a bad situation so much easier.

Jack Seifert

The indian guy with glasses obyessly did not care, or take pride in his job.

Angelica Fernandez

Wait time is insane and some of the female greeters are super rude. 5-start because when I came back to check if I was closer to being next, a young male greeter was super nice and courteous. Lisa the technician was also amazing! She was very nice and welcoming. I came in because my iPhoneX had the restore iTunes message on my screen. Thankfully I was all covered and received a new iPhoneX replacement phone since my phone could not be restored.

Travis Woodward

Felt very rushed. Was difficult to get help.

Doug Zwiers

Terrible experience. It is as if they found the most degenerate, least professional, socially inept people to work at this store. I have tried twice to buy something at this store with no success. The first time I went knowing the exact computer that I needed. Some troll looking character wish blue dyed hair, with multiple piercings and tattoos told me that they could not help me since I did not have an appointment. I tried to explain to him that I knew the exact computer that I needed, if they could just sell it to me I would be on my way. No luck, they would not help me. Today, I had to deal with some other knucklehead that looked like she had just escaped from a circus. Not only was she rude and unprofessional, she could not answer basic question that I had regarding the item that I was trying to buy. Truly, I have never experienced such frustration and aggravation while trying to purchase something.

Barbara Dennis

They were able to kind of help me. I think the lady that was helping me with my Mac got off or went on break and forgot to tell someone that I was just waiting for an update and to check in on me. I had to leave since I didn’t know who to ask to help me when the update was done. I did a walk in appointment and they were very busy (weekend before Black Friday) so I understand the chaos.

alex Y

The staff is great! Patient and friendly. Solve the problem of my phone

Xero Margin

I had my phone for 4 years so I was really excited to buy the new iPhone XS Max. I was greeted at store by a very friendly Millenial, who told me that they didn't get the phone in to try it out. I decided to order it anyways. Then I was "handed over" to another guy who was supposed to help me with the order. He told me to add all my information to the apple website. Took me about 5 minutes while he as standing there, seemingly annoyed. He didn't offer any help, didn't ask if I had any questions... When I was done, I asked him if it includes insurance, and he looked at the computer screen and said "you chose the Upgrade Option with Citizen One, then the insurance is included" . I said , "no I didn't". I was pretty sure that I didn't sign up for any insurance option. But he insisted that the insurance was covered. He was pretty annoyed with me, a customer who was just about to spend $1,300 on a phone. No effort to check what I really chose, or to explain to me that there are 3 options to buy the phone, or to give me more information. If you hate your job, or want to be rude to customers you should consider a job at McDonalds. My excitement for the best phone in the world vanished quickly, I handed him the laptop, and ran out of the store. At home I visisted the apple website and checked the purchase options again. And yes, the option I chose said:" insurance sold sparately". The sales person in the store gave me the wrong information or was just ignorant. I haven't ordered the phone yet, might just buy the Note 9 or the Pixel3.

Lily’s Vlogs

They never told me to back up my phone and I lost everything thousands of pictures apps and messages never using apple again

Matthias R. Moore

Terrible customer service. Very rude and very condescending. We were 5 mins late and they told us we would have to wait an extra 30 minutes which was fine. We ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes, while 6 or 7 employees stood around talking to each other and a back corner and what look to be making fun of the customers.

Michael Ritchie

Horrible customer service, and by horrible just non existence. The entire staff needs to be replaced especially the "Business Manager" BM who wouldn't know what customer service was if his life depended on it. I will never buy another Apple produce based on my interaction with this person!

Poor management. I was actually ordered to stand in a particular place and wait for my laptop which had been repaired. I left the “designated area” to browse other merchandise while I waited and a whole brewhaha erupted. So strange.

Michael Ritchie

Horrible customer service, and by horrible just non existence. The entire staff needs to be replaced especially the "Business Manager" BM who wouldn't know what customer service was if his life depended on it. I will never buy another Apple produce based on my interaction with this person!

duke 298

The people that come crawling in to this store are worse than ants in a farm

Rick Lindal

Poor management. I was actually ordered to stand in a particular place and wait for my laptop which had been repaired. I left the “designated area” to browse other merchandise while I waited and a whole brewhaha erupted. So strange.

Jan Bonner

The store is too small for the shopping center and they were understaffed when I arrived this morning. I stood in line outside the store so I could put my name on a list to be helped when someone had time. I had a simple question to ask about pricing (and still had to wait to talk to someone) and would have purchased a new MacBook Pro but the wait was more than 30 minutes and the associate who finally had time to talk with me wasn’t at all helpful. I think Apple is so confident that we’ll buy their merchandise they are no longer concerned about the quality of customer service. I wasted a lot of time and energy visiting this store.

Tech Gang

The check in girl was rude to me upon arrival. But I came for a replacement and the guy who helped me was awesome and they gave me new airpods thanks

Dennis Elliott

Nice phone you get what you pay for

Christine Bornhop

Phenomenal customer service. We went in for a few issues with our beats and MacBook. Yes it was busy and we waited awhile, but it was worth it; the reps who helped us were kind, friendly, attentive, and they got the beats sent in to be repaired and fixed our MacBook! I’m so grateful and feel confident in buying only Apple products in the future, knowing that my devices will be in good hands if things go wrong. I wish I knew the name of the guys who helped us. Thanks apple flatirons you’ve made us loyal customers!

Navini Dantanarayana

Went with an appointment. Still had to wait about 10mins. The guys were helpful though

Daniel Dahlman

Went in the other day to the Genius Bar to get my cracked screen fixed. The old dude served me, who was very rude. He said he was a manager but he spoke to me like garbage. He changed the price on the repair twice. He took my phone out back and booked me in for a repair without even telling me the issue. He didn't even say "hi" or introduce himself. The guy seemed to just not like me or want to help. Avoid this store. Staff are horrible and treat you like your inconveniencing them. Attitude from all members. Avoid the old guy. He's a real negative person.

David Hoppe

Very rude and disrespectful. It seems like apple really struggles with their customer support in the store and out of the store. I can’t wait until their retail and customer support staff is outsourced to a computer system that understands basic customer service skills.

Blayne McMillan

Had a pleasant experience. Walked in having issues with updating to the most recent version of iOS. They got me in the system and said it would be about 15 mins. Walked down to Microsoft kiosk and played Xbox to kill time. 20 mins later I got a text saying they were ready for me. Went back in and had to sit for about 5 mins before someone got to me. Robin was my assigned genius and he get right to work on getting me updated. His conversation skills were great and he solved my issue pretty quickly.

Ian Quinn

Spent 15 minutes waiting to talk to someone in the store about upgrading my phone. When I was finally able to speak to someone, they could not answer any of my questions. The guy actually told me to look online for the information to the questions I was asking. So much for customer service. I will no longer be upgrading my phone. Don't waste your time with this store.

Tyler Willson

I had a fast and flawless experience at the Apple Store at the flatirons Mall. The staff was educated, ready, and accommodating to any and all customers that were walking through the door. Truly a top of the notch customer experience that other retailers should be envious and emulate.

Donna Speirs

I’ve previously had what I thought was good service. Now I’m second guessing and feeling like I may have been taken advantage of before. I don’t trust this store to be honest anymore even though they *seem* to be very nice. They are either incompetent and can’t fix things that I can google and fix or they try to up-sale from the service department. My iPhone screen broke (phone still worked) so I made an appointment at the Genius Bar. The tech guy said that my phone was twisted (it is very slightly and all my phones end up that way, it seems like a common complaint online) and that they may not be able to get a new screen to calibrate because of it. “It may just be time to upgrade” but they hadn’t even tried. I asked him to try to replace the screen. He said yes but no guarantee it’ll work. Totally fine. I come back at my time, greeter looks it up into the system, says they are having trouble calibrating it, come back in 15 minutes. I come back and the new person says they are sorry they can’t calibrate it and it’s stuck in a loop where it just won’t load but here’s a replacement for $300. I say no thank you and offer to pay for the service. They say no worries, we’re sorry, we’ll hold your replacement a week. I took my phone home super sad that I now I need to upgrade to a better phone or buy a replacement. My phone just has the apple logo cycling. Upon looking it up online various boards say they messed up the install—crossing wires on the front camera or the home button will do that. BUT the tech guy told me it was going to possibly be an issue and to upgrade before they even looked at my phone which is maybe possible but also makes me feel suspicious. I plugs it into iTunes, do a factory restore, then updates from iCloud and my phone works fine. I’m writing this on said phone. Except the fingerprint scanner (which is what I read could messed up on the install). Surely the Genius Bar should know what a calibration issue on a screen is? And how to do a factory reset? And not to cross the wires on the fingerprint scanner? And it’s so sketchy to me that all the people used the exact same phrase and I was offered an upgrade when I went in for a screen fix. Then a replacement when it was an easy fix. I can’t find a way to contact customer service, only costumer support and that’s about the product which now works.

Stu Parker

Worst Apple store. If you call ask for Angel so she can give you bad information about CDMA/GSM and then hang up on you when you ask for the store manager.

Charlie F

The stores nice once you find it don’t try and have your iPhone navigate you to its location it fails miserably. I’ve visited with the staff about the iPhone X before I bought one and they were very knowledgeable at the time no one had the iPhone X in stock, so I ended up ordering it when I returned home. I can’t believe how hard it was to try navigate to this place based on directions best thing I did was find a mall map to get to the place. As a local guide, my goal is that produce reviews that you like, but factual. If my review was helpful or you enjoyed reading it feel free to post the like, if you have constructive suggestions please feel free to leave them. Thanks for reading!

Chad Koll

I had a scheduled appointment with the Genuis Bar at 11:45. My fault for showing up five minutes late, but then I waited 45 minutes after the initial check-in for my service call. Five stars to Andy and the service desk for the helpful and professional service.

Sandhya Neupane

I am not satisfied with the customer service. I had some software issue with the phone and they said its a hardware issue and told me to replace the new one. I was worried thinking I am going to lose money. Finally my husband gave a try and restore the phone by using computer. Finally I am able to use my phone now. I recommend people not to depend on them.

Rahul Mukherjee

Rude, uneducated, harsh, humiliating experience of customer service. The woman didn't find an excuse to hang up so she picked an argument with me. She din't document the call, so I called up and this time another agent tried to help me. I was more interested to escalate such humiliating behavior, and guess what...APPLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY ESCALATION MATRIX. BS. Absolutely BS. good product has to be backed up by great service. All of these goes hand in hand to provide a great ongoing customer experience. Apple has truely become a downmarket product. I just bought the product, and I regret it

Ellen Cameron

Julian was literally fantastic. We had two phones with issues and he worked on both at the same time. To be simple... he killed it. Julian thank you for your patience and kindness. You a real one. -Ercan & Emily

Tenzin Paldon

We talked to associate Lauren who was really rude and impatient. We made an appointment at 2 at 11:30. She told us that our appointment will be cancelled if we don’t show up within 10 minutes of a text sent by them from 11:30 to 2. This is not fair towards the customer. Upon speaking to another associate, she explained that apple sends 3 texts and we can ask for more time. Lauren was really unprofessional. When I corrected her for misspelling my name, she handed the ipad to me very rudely. Would suggest to go to another apple store!

Jason Goebel

Called after some issues ordering iPad online. My wife spoke to Oneal who took time after the closing time to not only help us navigate our way through the process, but to help us select the items we needed and order it for us. Oneal was so pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend him and this store.

We went to the apple store trying to find out what was wrong with an iPhone 7 Plus when you make a phone call the speaker is not working anymore. The guy who helped us at the store was good he ran the diagnostics but unfortunately he said that the logic board was bad. He also mentioned that other customers where having the same issue. This is a quality issue from apple and they know this they wanted to charge us half the price for replacement. As customers apple is being dishonest not trying to give customers a replacement or repair for something that was defective in the first place. As an electrical engineer I definitely without a doubt recommend that you think before buying apple products as of now integrity and honesty is out the door

Carlos Nigaglioni

1 review 1.0 star rating 9/22/2016 My iPhone 6 had an issue with the ear speaker and one of the technicians told me that it was soldered thus not repairable. He did offer trading for a new unit for "only" $449. A quick search shows many videos pn how to do it so I purchased a speaker and tools for $11. After 1 day shipping and 10min of my skills I have a working phone again.

Bait and switch on iphone xs saying it is water resistant when it is in fact not water resistant. I was greeted by apathetic and rude Mark and manager Teri at this store who argued with me that my phone had liquid damage when it has never gotten wet. They also looked into the phone when I arrived and told me there was no liquid damage and that they just needed to repair the screen, later when I went to pick up the phone they told me there was standing water in the phone (SCAM) I have been paying $15 a month for apple care which they told me is also no good and will not cover this instance. I was told by the rep at this apple store when I purchased the apple care that apple care would cover anything with no money out of pocket! Bait & Switch.

I was accused by one of their employees, Russ or Russell of being abusive towards him and that he was sick of my abuse. I was irritated that I had to wait two hours to be helped and I was in no way abusive towards him. The manager I spoke to about the situation assured me that she would speak to him but he is still working there and feel uncomfortable going to that store anymore. DO NOT go to this store!! It is awful.

Drew Griffith

I brought my late 2011 MacBook Pro to The Genius Bar after making an appointment shortly after they opened. I was seen within 30 minutes by Andy and he hooked me up with the recall information and got my MacBook Pro back out the door for repair. And he was very professional and helpful especially since I had my one and a half year old son with me who was a ticking Time Bomb, but they both did great!

Daniel Croce

Stay away, just stay away. Terrible attention, eternal waiting lists. Go to Boulder instead.

Expensive phone repair. Hope they turn out to be worth it.

My wife took her MacBook to an Apple authorized service center to have the battery replaced after Flatirons store wouldn't replace the battery. The new battery was obviously an Apple product, and looked exactly like the old one. After a month the battery quit charging and I took it in to have the Genius Bar take a look at it. The "Genius" told me I had a third party battery in the MacBook and refused to replace the battery again. Offered to put the old worn out battery back in the MacBook for $129. I will never go to this Apple Store again, and neither should anyone else.

A couple of months ago my old Samsung laptop finally crapped out on me for good. This was mortifying because I was in the midst of trying to start a YouTube channel and a podcast. I worked retail and have been management many times! NEVER would this have flown where I've worked!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would have!!!!!

James Hurd

If no stars were an option I would do that. Wait for an hour to be texted back to the store to wait another half hour, to have someone take off my screen protector to examine what is obviously a hair line fracture on my iPhone 7 Plus screen. Only after all that does he tell me it’s 7 days out of warranty. Apple, you have fallen so far. So disappointing. Jesus, look at you reviews! Get a new manager or something, cause what you have isn’t working. 7 days out of warranty, are you kidding me?

Wait for an hour to be texted back to the store to wait another half hour, to have someone take off my screen protector to examine what is obviously a hair line fracture on my iPhone 7 Plus screen. Only after all that does he tell me it’s 7 days out of warranty. Apple, you have fallen so far. So disappointing. Jesus, look at you reviews! Get a new manager or something, cause what you have isn’t working. 7 days out of warranty, are you kidding me?
