When I went back the next day he blamed it on the charger and phone. He tried to talk over my husbands head who came with me this time, little did he know my husband is an engineer. Had major trouble with my phone's charging port during a long trip away from home. A friend in Little Rock recommended Device Medics in Hot Springs to solve the problem. Visiting them meant 2 extra hours of driving, but they made the trip well worth it. Was very impressed with Paul & Skylar's knowledge and skill. I had feared the phone might be unrecoverable, but they brought it back to life for a lot less money than I would have had to pay for new or even used equipment. I also appreciated the extra time they spent with me explaining other technical issues. They gave me some great tips about where to visit in town while they worked on my device too. Would definitely send anyone with a broken phone in their direction. These guys know what they're doing!

Last year in March I dropped off an Xbox 360 with these ppl. He said it may take 3 months to fix it since it was tax season and phones came first. Later my daughter developed cancer so when I finally go to check on it he says they don't have it. Most likely it was used for spare parts for other repairs. What. All that was wrong with it is the door quit opening. They never called me. N he wont replace it and conveniently he doesn't even have a record of it.

Said my dads brand new iPhone wasn’t repairable which was fine, but when I was my to go get it they had “misplaced” it and I called several other times after that to see if they had found it and they wouldn’t ever get back with me. Very fishy.... & this was after they repaired the speaker in my iPhone phone that didn’t fix my problem, still charged me around 100 bucks and when I took it to the Apple store they wouldn’t fix it bc it had aftermarket parts on it, speaker, screen, etc. which was never mentioned to me. The phones were dropped off at the same time or I would’ve not been there twice. Stay away.

Do not give your business to The Device Medics in Boardwalk Village Shopping Center. They sold my husband a smart watch yesterday that he bought for my birthday, assuring him it was compatible with iPhones. Long story short, it was not (even the instructions state this). I went there twice today during their posted business hours, but they were not open. Finally, a tech named Paul O'Bier drug in there an hour and a half late. He piddled around with the devices and, ultimately, threw up his hands and admitted it is only partially compatible with my phone (all it does is call in and out; nothing else works, including text and fitness-related trackers). He then refused to give a refund, quoting a no-return policy that is neither posted in the store nor was told to my husband at the time of purchase. These people are thieves and will go to any length to misrepresent themselves and their products just to take your money, and they do not stand behind what they sell. The business owners, Mike and Angie Tadlock, have been informed of the situation but have not made any attempt to make things right. We reported The Device Medics to the Better Business Bureau and the Arkansas Attorney General for fraudulent business practices.

These guys are good at what they do, just remember you get what you pay for. I got my iPhone 7 Plus and broke the screen, for bout 100.00 total It was repaired in 20 minutes, I noticed a small knotch in the screen and pointed it out to the tech and the owner had it replaced immediately with a new screen. They even gave me a free screen protector. Works like new. Would recommend these guys anytime. Other places quoted me 149.99 - 200.00 once I got there on the phone it was only 89.99...

These people suck. They replaced my screen on my phone and did a horrible job at it. Then they went through my phone and email. My advice is , DO NOT DO BUSINESSES WITH THESE IDIOTS. Pissed me off to see they went through my phone and wasn't even smart enough to cover their tracks. The tech is a little smart ass to boot. They won't be in business long!!!

Paul was amazing and showed great patience as my husband and I asked many PC questions and purchased a new phone. His phone price was super reasonable and the advice he gave us regarding transferring photos from an old phone to the PC (which he did) cost us nothing. There were many people waiting and Paul showed each of them the same level of A++ customer service as he did us. I would highly recommend this young entrepreneur as he excels in his profession! I wish I could give 0 . The owner is a Thief. If they make a mistake and mess up your phone they will not take responsibility and you will be out the money that you spent to fix it. Do not take any device to device medics. This place stole $180 for me and ruin my $500 phone.

I left my iPad Mini out in a VERY bad rainstorm for a VERY long time. The thing was soaked inside and out, as in water-pouring-out-of-the-ports soaked. Forget the things they have on the internet about drying out your system with a bag of rice or desiccant packs. I've done it...with my second generation iPad (that, yes, I also left out in the rain, IKR!) These tricks dry it out, eventually, but leaves mineral/ion deposits on those incredibly small circuits. It may work for a while giving you that false sense of security just before it fails. Those deposits corrode the circuits. Device Medics took it apart and re-doused my Mini with an ion free solution and put it in their specialized equipment that literally shakes the ions free and rinses them away. Then they dried it (properly), checked it thoroughly, cleaned it up returned it to me looking and operating like it was new AND fully charged! All for a fraction of what the similar service would cost in Little Rock. I also found their location to be very centrally located (no pun intended) and easy to get in and out of once I figured out the timing of the traffic lights.

Do not go to this place. The man in there talked to us for an hours! Wanted everything paid in cash and we didn’t get our receipt. My phone screen is now coming apart and it’s only been a month. Can’t get it fix because he didn’t give us the receipt. Money NOT well spent

Was in Hot Springs on a Mini-Vacation and my Samsung Note 2 quit charging. I went to The Device Medics about 20 minutes before closing. They had a usb charging port in stock for my phone and in less than 20 minutes my phone was repaired. Service is GREAT, repair is GREAT, and price is GREAT. I definitely recommend The Device Medics. After getting a Fake "FBI Virus", I was told it was a Remote Trojan. The Device Medics fixed me up on a Saturday within just a hour. Perfect fix and they retained all my contacts, pics, and personal files. Superior service and very skilled. Will recommend!

Service seemed good at first, but my daughter's tablet came out to me I assumed it was fine when my daughter checked it out she noticed glue on the screen and tape stuck to the side. She took it back to point these things out to them and to complain that on one the buttons was no longer backlit Paul said well that happens sometimes. With no offer to repair it or make recompense other than to clean the outside of the tablet. Do not go here if you want quality work and service!

Very convenient and they fixed my screen cause it was shattered! My phone is as good as new and didn’t have to spend $800 for a new one! Plus they hooked me up with a case so it won’t break again!

Called a couple places in town for the best price to replace a cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S5, and received a quote from Device Medics of $100 via phone call. Got to the store the next day, and after standing around for 10 minutes being ignored, the quoted repair price went up to $130 (I was told that the price of the screen they had to order went up in price. Yep, overnight, lol). Since I was already there, I figured I'd save myself some time and hassle and just fork out the $30 difference. Anyway, got my phone back about a week later (a couple days longer than they said it would be ready), bought a screen protector from them for $15, and the phone worked fine...until about a month later when the screen just went black, but the phone was obviously still operational because it rang, and I could hear my notifications, etc, just nothing but blackness on the screen. Even though it stands to reason that it was a glitch or issue with the new screen Device Medics had recently installed, I opted to buy a brand new phone of the same model online. While waiting for the new online purchase to arrive, I noticed that I could get the screen of the repaired phone to come on if I held downward pressure on opposite corners of the phone, so I kept it just in case I ever have some money to burn to get it fixed again, so I'd have a backup phone. A few months went by, and I happened to be in the area of Boardwalk Village, so I stopped in to have the phone they repaired looked at. The employee who had actually replaced the screen was there. He remembered me and replacing the screen, so I showed him how it was operational (screen came on) with pressure on opposite corners, but he assured me it had nothing to do with the screen, or the repair they had done (riiiiiiiiiight, mmhmm, sure it didn't...replacing a cracked screen had nothing to do with a completely new problem with the screen that wasn't there before after just a month of use...how silly of me to think so), and quoted me $160 to fix "the logic board". I asked for a break on the 2nd repair since I had already paid them $30 more than I should have to begin with, and of course the answer was "no", so I thanked him and left, but won't be back. That's not how you keep customers. If someone has already given you repair business (plus an add-on sale), at $30 more than quoted estimate, then something reallllllly similar goes wrong with the repaired device a month later, it's probably in your best business interest to work with them instead of trying to milk them a 2nd time. I will say that the repair technician and the owner were pleasant enough when I spoke to them, no problem there. The estimates just seem a bit shady (in addition to the first repair estimate going up $30 overnight, I was told that the $160 estimate to re-repair my phone was "priced for today only". Like, is this the stock market wherein prices fluctuate daily?? Seems super shady to me, but maybe there is a reason for it, who knows). Anyway, I'll go check out Spa City iRepair since their quote to repair screen was the same as what Device Medics ended up charging me after hiking it up $30. Plus, they have almost 200 great Google reviews. Toodles, Device Medics :\

My 14 month old spilled juice on my phone and completely broke it! I was so upset becasue I never backed up the pictures and videos. Well device medics completely fixed it, and I got everything back! The price was great too. This was a fairly new phone, maybe 2 months old, and if they didnt fix it, I wouldve had to pay AT&T about 700$. So not only did they get all my data back for me, but also they saved me a ton of money!! Also, they fixed it almost instantly! I brought it in Monday afternoon, and they had it fixed by Tuesday afternoon. They overnighted the part and fixed it as soon as it got there! Very friendly and knowledgeable. If i ever have electronic problems again, I will definitely go right back to them!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this establishment. My repair was rather pricey ($237) mostly due to the phone part that needed replaced but the phone come apart 48 hours after i picked it up. I returned it for additional repairs and received a call at 4:45 from the owner saying my phone was ready to be picked up. I arrived at 5:00 only to find that they had closed an hour early and apparently right after calling me to pick up my phone . additionally, this establishment never answers their phone. My phone battery will not stay charged now (even with no aps open and battery saver mode on). May be completely unrelated but in either case, I will not be using their services in the future. This post does not apply to the dark haired young man who was working there this morning. He was very courteous and professional.

Paul and Melissa are experienced professionals. I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S6 with him and he back up data for all my devices including a new tablet. He is a gentleman and even helped set up "Adaptive Hearing" on the new phone so I could hear the other callers better. This is all preparations for a trip to Europe and he exceeded all areas. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly to every customer. I was in store for almost an hour for all my data transfers to two devices and as a retired insurance agent, I can spot quality in service. If it can be fixed this team can do it. If not you will at the very least get superior service. I highly recommend everyone give The Device Medics a opportunity. In my opinion, you will not regret it.

These guys are the greatest. They have fixed my broken Samsung J3 3 times due to my drops. Paul just transfered my data and put me in an amazing Asus that is leaps above my old Samsung. They also helped me switch service providers and in my book are the Best business to deal with. We closed in a big hug. I cooked my device to the Device Medics to have the screen replaced on my S5 while my phone was there I brought my phone up on a Tuesday it took him until the following Tuesday to get the part I paid for the phone before he even had the parts there when I receive my phone return to me my phone been had a damage charge power port for the home button and the return button or attach to because his technician ripped my phone apart and did not repair it properly he put the new screen on my phone and tried to cover it up turn my phone on and off while it was in the shop and then try when I took my phone back 2 days later he tried to tell me it was my fault my front facing camera was also messed up on my phone I took the phone back up there and I got told that the damages were already done to my phone my phone was a perfect phone with a crack in the upper corner of the screen that had nothing to do with the bottom two buttons nor the front facing camera that he crushed the gasket on because his technician damaged my phone during my phone repair his technician is such a professional he told me that he got the instructions for repairing my phone off the iFixit website off the internet my advice to you would be if you want to keep your device in good working order do not take your device to Device Medics he will try to rob you out of money or out of your device one

His knowledge is spot on, I personally watched 4 happy customers that he took care of and 1 as I was leaving, he was replacing his battery from the previous owners at no cost. My battery was in need of replacement and I wasn't interested in driving to the Apple store in Little Rock. A friend told me about Device Medics so I stopped by on Saturday. Skylar took my phone, removed the Otter cover and cleaned the phone and checked to see if they had a battery. He said if I could come back next week he could order the battery. I said I would do that and paid him to order it. He called on Monday at 1:30pm and said the battery is in. I returned to the store and in 10 minutes he replaced it. That is great service and I am very pleased and the price was fair.
