WOW! Erik is a wizard! I rarely write reviews but this time felt compelled to acknowledge the A++ service I received when I brought my laptop in for repair. Since it was so severely infected with viruses I had reconciled the high probability that it was a lost cause; Erik didn't make any promises but also didn't hesitate to take on the challenge of fixing my poor sick computer. The extent of effort he took to fix my laptop still blows my mind, it was like seeing something out of an alien autopsy video: pieces scattered all across a long table. Now that I have it back, everything works great and the cost was VERY FAIR in price. 5/5, would go back!

I've gotten my laptop repaired twice here - first time for water damage, and second time for a broken screen. Both times he got it done really fast and for relatively cheap. Eric obviously knows what he's doing, and he's really friendly too. This is the only computer repair shop I plan on ever using in Fayetteville.

My computer that I have owned for a year starting causing all sorts of problems. I called Mr. White and he told he that he would have to see the computer to determine what was wrong. After a quick inspection, he said that he could repair the computer but it would take a day or two. He said that he would call me. The following day, Mr. White contacted me and told me what was wrong and that he could repair it. He said that I could pick it up the following morning. If I needed it sooner, He would open the store early so I could pick it up. The computer operates like it was brand new. The repair price was very fair. Mr. White took the time to explain what was wrong. For any computer needs, I definitely recommend Computer Systems Outlet.

Eric does AMAZING work. I've had the same laptop since 2010 and it finally crashed on me. Eric was able to recover all 25,000 of my photos from both my laptop and my external hard drive which had also been damaged. I accidentally stumbled upon his business because he had a point higher than the first business that came up under computer repairs and it was the one of the best decisions I've made all year considering my life since 2010 was on these two hard drives. DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I promise you, he won't let you down!!!!!!! THANKS ERIC!!!

So I took my laptop in because the right hinge had completely fallen off and it was basically hanging by one hinge. I called Kmotiv for an estimate, but they told me they wouldn't be able to fix it because they couldn't get the parts unless I contacted the manufacturer. So then I took it in to this place and Eric told me he could fix it with no problem. He was friendly, very talkative, and even gave me some of his Cajun dry rub! He charged me a fair price for the repair and got it done in a fairly short time period. Also told me to call if any follow up issues occur! Overall, cool guy and good price. If my computer breaks again, I'll definitely go back to him.

Eric saved us days of down time here at University Arkansas PMC Solutions. We had a very old system (windows 98) that had went down & we had no back up. We have a older Dell that runs our alignment system and the power supply went down. None of the equipment repair technicians had one or could get one with in a reasonable time frame(every minute that machine is down we are loosing revenue). I called Eric just hoping to find something. To my amazement he had one! I got to the shop it was on the counter with a tester hooked up showing it was good! The last one of these I had replaced was over $600.00 from a equipment tech. Eric charged me $40.00 (used) I got it back installed it woks perfect!!! We are back in business same day! As a former UofA grad student when working on a dissertation having a computer was... a PRICELESS! invaluable asset. Being able to analyze data, compile articles, write and track dissertation drafts by way of computer, well, meant less time wasted while productive work was enhanced. So, as was inevitable, my desktop computer crashed. Eric patiently and supportively, calmed a grad student in the throes of freaking out, me, while promptly repairing my computer and recovering the data. Only the most current draft of my dissertation was lost. Thanks to Eric, I learned to back my work up. Then when my laptop keyboard froze up and I feared the worst, that I was facing another computer meltdown before finishing my dissertation, I was not as freaked out because a) all but the most recent work -- a few paragraphs -- was backed up and b) whatever the problem was, I knew Eric would come through with the repair. My boyfriend dropped my laptop and destroyed the hard drive. I took it to him and he was very polite, though pushy about his Cajun dry rub, he quoted me the price to fix my laptop and stayed right at it. Though giving me a smaller hard drive than was originally planned. (By about 200ish gigs) There is also now a giant blaring scratch in my screen that wasn't there before. Definitely will not be returning or recommending.

The owner is extremely focused on building great relationships with his customers. He’s very helpful, very talkative, and very focused in the customers’ best interest without necessarily having to make the best profit. However, the reason for the 3 stars is that he insisted on repairing the physical problem on my laptop with a makeshift “Frankenstein”, as he called it, without looking to fully replace or repair my device with the correct parts. After debating which was the proper part that needed to be replaced (I was right, but I’ll give him the benefit of saying he didn’t have as much time to look at it), I decided to, instead, take my laptop home so that I could still use a functioning laptop for final exams. I let him do this little “fix” that he insisted on (without charging me anything yet, which was very kind) after I told him that I would rather replace the part of my laptop that would be cosmetically altered by myself at a later time and avoid spending a pretty penny. Instead, this makeshift solution did more damage than it helped anything. I didn’t realize until I got home. Now the laptop that I need for final exams is completely out of commission instead of partially. His intentions were great, but there was a lack in the expert knowledge that I came there for.

Eric is wonderful!! He is the friendliest guy and was fabulous to work with! My HP laptop hinge was falling apart so badly that I could barely open the screen to turn it on and I thought I would for sure have to buy a new computer, but he was able to fix it right up! He initially said the repair would take him about a week to complete, but ended up working late to finish it after just two days in the shop. I cannot recommend him enough! Also, I forgot to buy some of his Cajun seasoning when I went to pick up my laptop and I am kicking myself. I tried it when I first came in and that stuff was AWESOME! Buy some of it! Just to be clear, I never write reviews. I am only writing this one because that's how much I liked Eric and how impressed I was with his return time and A+ customer service.

Eric is amazing at what he does! Super friendly, fair pricing and he will never give up on your machine, unless it's absolutely beyond repair. My laptop was a new situation to him, certainly beyond anything that I could have possibly handled and, he was trooper throughout the process! He put endless hours of time and love into my laptop and it was beginning to look like I may need a new motherboard. Nope! Not it either! Long story short, he figured it out and got it back to me ASAP, good as new! He's the consummate professional, yet makes you feel at home while explaining to you, in layperson terms if necessary, what's wrong with your machine. Don't waste your time and money at a big box store - they can't fix it like Eric can! I doubt that I'll have to take it back again for a long time but, if/when I do, I'll be going back to see Eric! I took my hp desk top to Eric, I thought it was done but he was able to fix it, the mother board over heated. and he was able to re-flow the circuit and it runs like a new system. Eric was able to do it in half the time and at half the price quoted by everyone else. He is a hard and honest worker. He didn't sugar coat my chances of recovering my data, but promised to give it his best. His best was awesome. I got back over a 1.5TB of data. I highly recommend CSO to anyone. I have a 7 year old laptop that was on it's last limb. I made a small investment in Bitcoin and after downloading a wallet that took up 100 gigs, it fried my hardrive. Thinking that I just lost my Bitcoin Investment Eric saved my computers life not once but twice from two different crashes that I had over the summer. He hooked me up spending over $900 worth of work on my computer that he only charged me $500 for!!! He could of easily got $900 out of me knowing what my Bitcoins were worth but he didn't. Now after a month later my Bitcoin Wallet synced and I was able to cash out. So far I've made over $15,000 on Bitcoin and I am still cashing out. Bitcoin to the Moon!!! Thanks Eric you ROCK!!!
