Computer Rehab gave me exceptional service today! My dad's computer had a blown power supply. I took it elsewhere for diagnosis first and was told it would be near impossible to find the type of power supply I needed and if they could find such a scarce power supply it would cost $150-$200. I went home and found the power supply plentiful on Amazon for about $23 plus shipping. I really wanted to get my dad up and running without waiting another week for a part to ship, so I looked for another PC repair place and found Computer Rehab late on a Friday night. They had the power supply I needed for $40 + tax getting my dad back in business immediately. I installed the power supply and had him up and running within an hour. The other place just wanted to sell me a computer. I don't think they really loved me and had my best interest in mind, if you know what I mean. They did give me a free PC cleaning for which I am thankful. But Computer Rehab got me the part I needed at a fair price and immediately. It is a great place to get real caring and concern for your pocket book, your time, and your computer. They really do care about you and show it through their service and pricing. I was very impressed with the service and friendly staff. I had checked at Simply Mac who was two whole weeks out and would have been more expensive. Computer Rehab was just two days, actually a day and a half, and I was very happy with their flat rate service policy. Couldn't be more satisfied in every regard with the expert and professional staff at Computer Rehab!!! Incidentally, I find the one star review regarding that soldering issue to be very suspicious. I'm confident that if two professionals decline service for reason stated that a non-professional could not do it successfully. If so, he would have done it himself in the first place. Then the damage and scratches issue seems to have originated in the mind of a spiteful customer. Just my take...

So I dropped my laptop off Oct 25th it the fan was haiving issues, when I went in to clean it up, I accidentally blacked out half the screen, so I took it in. I know they're busy, but it's currently Dec 3rd and I still don't have it back yet, they were unable to find out what was wrong, ( and to be fair, a lot of that time was just waiting for ordered parts, that's not their fault) My main issues was communication, there were never updates, and when I would call or text, there was either no answer or reply (this is during business hours, and it would often be a full week after texting/calling with no response) or when there was an answer, very few details given. It was about 3-4 days ago, they gave up on fixing it, and told me in text that they would just be putting it back together, and asked if I would need data recovery. I replied immediately saying data recovery is not required (I can hook it up to another moniter and it works fine) but I asked if they could replace the old fan That was 3-4 days ago, and I still have yet to get a reply... So overall, they were unable to find what was wrong/fix it (this may not be their fault, it could be a difficult issue) It's been over a month (likely due to shipping time) And communication has honestly been poor Update: it is now December 7th we finally just picked up the laptop to take it somewhere else, however, they explained it no longer starts up properly. They didn't charge us, but niether did they reimburse us for breaking it, it's been over a month, they couldn't find the problem, couldn't repair the damage they did, maybe this is unusual for them, but still, I would go elsewhere

I have found the place that I'll be going whenever I have a computer issue! Dave was awesome, communicated in very clear language about what was wrong with my computer and he fixed the problem! He also gave me some recommendations for software that will help in the future. The nightmare of having hard drive issues was eradicated and Dave fixed everything for a great price. When I got my laptop back, it had been wiped down and cleaned as well and the battery was fully charged for me. These seemingly small details are indications of Dave's great work.

I brought our desktop to Computer Rehab last year. We did not think it was salvageable, but they cleaned it up and brought it back to life. They were really easy to work with and very fast. So when our other computer--a laptop--died last week, I brought it right in to them. They fixed it in just a couple of days. I think the price is very reasonable. I might bring all of our computers to them once a year just to keep them cleaned up.

Writing this to protect other people. Took my computer for repair a while back. I waited about 2 months, not following up much because I was patient, after that would call in, text, and leave VM's. No response to follow up, it's been well over 7 months and nothing. This guy pretty much stole my laptop, and i filed a police report. For months he's been working out of a "temp" location. Wouldnt be surprised if he pawned or sold it. Don't go here, most businesses would be better

Im very impressed with Computer Rehab. The speed and quality of work is 10/10, the price is affordable, and the guy who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. My laptop had been running slowly for several months, which was frustrating considering it was fairly new and in great condition when we bought it. I suspected there was an error with windows, but don’t have enough computer knowledge to fix it myself. We brought it in to Computer Rehab and it was fixed within four days. Not only did he fix the problem, he updated the drivers and cleaned out all the unnecessary junk software. The laptop that used to take 2-3 minutes to turn on now turns on within 10 seconds. Quite honestly it feels like a brand new computer. When I picked the up the laptop, he explained the issue to me and was very friendly. If you’re having an issue with your computer, I highly recommend Computer Rehab. I sincerely don’t think you’ll find too many companies as honest and knowledgeable as them.

When I first walked through the doors of Computer Rehab, I was a mess. My baby, my child, the love of my life, my laptop was not working. I had spent hours trying to fix it through a variety of means to no success and by the time I looked for a repair shop I was desperate. I was nervous.. handing my computer over to a stranger. How good is this guy I thought? Can I trust him with my most precious possession? Yes, yes I could I found out. I was initially worried because I was suspecting that my hard drive had crashed and I was unsure if I was able to recover the data. Dave quickly assured that after I described in detail that everything would be fine, which is was. He kept in constant communication about the process being very honest with the outcomes. When it came to pricing he was very transparent in what needed to be done and what services he would provide. Our computer was slow and full of adware and pop ups, the sound had stopped working as well. We were thinking that we might need to buy a new computer. I saw the sign in front of computer rehab for the $69 clean up and thought we would give it a try. The owner was very helpful, he knew right away which games my daughter had downloaded that had caused the problems. He cleaned it up and fixed the sound and installed avast for us. So far the computer is as good as new. It's working great and it is much faster. The owner seemed honest and the price was more than fair. I will definitely be returning with any computer problems we may have.

In my panic, when my computer wouldn't start, I forgot to tell the guy (sorry forgot name) about the other problems my computer has been having with error messages which occasionally pop up or a printer I no longer have, but the computer doesn't seem to know that, and a few other errors. So I asked him to please not lose my pictures or other files and to get my computer running. I decided against calling him back and asking him for more because $49 isn't very much. When I went in to get my computer, not only was it running perfectly, but he had done all of the above and more. I will forever and always use computer rehab for all of my computer tech needs. I get so frustrated and pissed off when i hear about people's horror stories of trying to deal with best buys "geek squad" tech support. people think because they bought something at best buy that they should go back there for tech support...that is the biggest mistake anyone could make. Geek squad takes weeks to get anything done and they are for the most part completely incompetent. a friend of mine had a disc stuck in her drive and they said they couldnt get it out so they told her to go to an apple store, she did and they said we cant do it here and sent her to a DIFFERENT best buy where a geek finally said oh this is a simple fix i have no idea why they couldnt do it at best buy in the first place...the answer is simple. GEEK SQUAD is mostly incompetent. this sadly is just the tip of the iceberg, i could go on. let me just say that computer rehab has incredibly fair upfront prices, no surprise fees etc. and they are also very prompt with the service that you need. Talk about a guy who knows what he is doing. what more can i say. oh almost every service is just a simple flat rate of 50 bucks. i would gladly pay that to get it done right the first time and not have the run-around hassle that best buy gives you. and computer rehab is like ten times cheaper than best buy for tech support. its a no brainer.

Computer Rehab is our GOTO computer repair place. Finding a great computer tech is like finding a great auto mechanic. I like to fix my car, but there are some problems that go beyond my expertise. So I find an auto mechanic. I need that person to be knowledgeable, fast, fair priced, and honest. That's hard to find, but I've had a little luck over the years. For computers, finding the right repair service is even harder because you need to be able to trust the person with your data, with your financials, and with your precious family memories. Computer Rehab is that place for our immediate and extended family. They've fixed hardware issues, including replacing a laptop screen, fixed software issues, and corrected data breaches. When grandpa let a phishing scam have remote access, Computer Rehab fixed his computer. When the little kids installed malware with a game, Computer Rehab fixed the kid computer. Our latest problem was a boot sector type of infection caused by clicking a malicious email link. Computer Rehab fixed it. They saved everything and fixed the malware. AND they only charge a flat fee. AND if they can't fix it, there's no charge. I don't give five star reviews very often. So far I've given five stars to one author for one book on Amazon, and to Computer Rehab in American Fork.

Fantastic customer service and pricing. Even came in outside business hours so I could drop off my tower. I took in my custom gaming desktop i built a few years ago with blue screen issues and they got it working again. Dave was a great help in cleaning up my laptop. It was so corrupted with add ons that it took so many minutes to try and get on that I finally quit using it. They were quick and efficient. I really appreciate them getting to my assignment on my computer that would not fully boot, and getting it to me before it was due. Of course, backing up the assignment would have saved me from the mess in the first place; but as I had not done so they rescued me. Their description of the problem also was insightful: hitting the power button to force shut down when it was not functioning well triggered its failure to even boot fully. With such insight, I can hopefully avoid having such a problem ever again.

I've have always had excellent service and Dave has been honest with me . I took a lap top in to get running and was told that he could get it working again ,but it wouldn't be worth the money. Software was outdated and no updates were available for it . He was upfront with me and honest about it . My computer was custom built for me and he has since moved, Dave was able to figure it out and get it working for me again . I recently experienced a failure on a SSD that is installed in a laptop that was purchased from a Best Buy. The computer was full of spyware and bloatware and Computer Rehab fixed it all. They found a very genius spyware in my SSD and damaged hardware on the SSD as well. I was told that I needed a new SSD and they could get one next day air. They also told me of a local store that had the parts in-stock and said i was welcome to pick up the SSD and bring it to them end they would install it. They charged me a very reasonable fee and had the work complete in record time. I would highly recommend Computer Rehab to anyone looking for professional and honest service for a fair price.

I was just missing a few screws on my laptop screen that holds it together and the young lady that helped me was great. She found some screws and tightened it up and didn't charge me. The gentleman she helped in front of me was having some driver problems and she told him how how to download the drivers himself so she would not have to charge him to do it. I just got my HP DV7 back from Computer Rehab, and I can now count myself among CR fanboys. When I say that my laptop runs better than it did the day I bought it, I am speaking literally! Issues that I have had since I purchased my laptop from the factory have disappeared. It is running quieter than ever and my mystery freezing issues seem to be resolved. I had an SDD installed in place of my failing hard drive, and while at the shop CR gave it a remarkable cleaning. CR blessed me with a clean Windows 7 install, without all of the bloatware (at my request- I was tired of background programs chewing on my RAM). I couldn't be happier with the service that I received- despite what looked like a busy agenda, my laptop was finished by the evening of the day that I dropped it off. Told them what the issue was with my laptop but after opening it up to take a look he made made it sound like there was no hope to fixing it. I appreciated his honesty but he didn't give me many options after looking at the issue. I ended up buying my own tools and then fixed the problem myself. Now my laptop is working great. The other thing was that when I took my laptop to them, there was no cosmetic damage and it had never been opened before. However when I got it back, there were scuff marks on the top of the laptop (behind the screen) and I found that some screws were missing.

Went to see if they could do a bios update for me because I needed an older generation processor to do the update. They said they had the processors but they were in storage and they weren't going to look for them. The website says fix any issue, but this is obviously not true.

Everything runs great now, I brought in a SSD and he told me it would be done by early next week to replace it, and he had it done fairly early in the morning Monday (I dropped it off 2 hours before close on Saturday). He was very fast, called me to let me know that he couldn't recover the data (nothing that was his fault) and told me about several places where I could go for data recovery. I only paid a total of $200 (SSD and the replacement of the hard drive) for a half terabyte of Solid State Memory. Fast, friendly, and doesn't break your bank. Needed help updating to Windows 10 on my laptop that I had personally installed an SSD on a couple of years ago. I couldn't get Windows to update properly and decided to bring it into Dave. He pinpointed the issue with my SSD and saved me $120 from having to actually buy Windows 10. I did pay the flat rate $69 fee but it was worth it to finally get my laptop running the way I need. The only downside is that I had to actually buy a new SSD because the one I had was not being recognized by the BIOS. But with the $120 I was planning on spending on Windows, I bought a new SSD at Best Buy. Everything is good to go now and Dave was great to work with.
