I visited the campus for the first time in twenty years and a few changes I saw but overall it looks the same so it was gratifying to see my alma mater again. I went to Bridgewater myself and I enjoyed my time there in the mid 1990s.

Lauren Anderson’s review of the college is skewed. Her review is entirely fabricated. Bridgewater is a Christian college, she knew this when she agreed to attend. If she wanted to attend a party school their are several others she could have chosen. The college is a wonderful institution not for the weak of heart, it requires you to do the work and be an adult.

I think Bridgewater is a beautiful campus. I am attending in the fall and I cannot wait. It's surrounded by mountains and trees. There is a large mall, or field in the middle of campus. The town of Harrisonburg is about an eight to ten minute drive from Bridgewater and is loaded with stores and restaurants (target, super Walmart, pizzerias). There is a shuttle that takes students to and from different areas. I'm glad to be going here in such a beautiful, welcoming community.

Graduated a long time ago. Bridgewater College gave me a great foundation to build upon as my career developed. I cherish the friends I made, as well as the memories. A small college where you are not just a number, you are a person. I highly recommend to anyone / everyone.

To be blunt this school sucks. They try the hardest not to let their students live off campus because they want their money so much. The housing cleaning is non existent. I have been walking past the same squished spider on the wall for over a month now. There have been dead mosquitos on the walls of the bathroom for 6 months. The bathrooms are disgusting, majority of the drains are clogged. So whenever showering you stand in inches of water. The maintenance barely does their job in a timely manner. It took maintenance 3-4 months to get the extra furniture out of the rooms. A toilet flushed non stop for 5 days straight before they came to fix it, when I reported it on the first day. Not to mention the resident hall Dillon has a lot of mold. The walls are thin, you can hear everything that everyone is saying and doing in each part of the halls. From what I’ve heard the some sport teams are harsh on their athletes in a bad way. While the Klein Campus Center does offer a lot of food, half of the time it doesn’t look appetizing. Many people end up eating pizza everyday or fries and chicken tenders. The weekends are boring there’s nothing to do on campus. Aside from go to jmu and party, which we can’t really do because Bridgewater is a dry campus. While the campus is pretty it comes with a lot of negatives.
