The staff especially at the ski shop have very poor attitudes. The man who I assume runs the ski shop is extremely rude. 4 times I’ve been in the shop and every time he has had a major attitude with the customers.

This was our 4th trip in the last 5 years to the Snow Bowl. Each one of our previous visits would have been a 5 of out 5 stars; however, not this year. It’s not the same. There has been very little snow making at all so far this season, so, despite the great start to the season in November, nothing was added to build up a base for the holiday week. Despite the cold weather this past week, there was NO snow making. With the freeze / thaw / freeze this past week, the trails could have used a grooming one of the days … nothing was done. One Sunday, 30-Dec, one of the two operating lifts broke down late morning, so that rendered 4 of the 6 trails unusable. The lift was not returned to service. The fireplace even had an “out of order” sign posted on it all week (no joke). Very disappointed this week in the operations and will likely not be back if this is the “new normal.”

Red Acre Cottage

Hidden gem. SHHHHHHH! Don't tell anyone. Awesome slopes and great snow. Super clean, inviting lodge. Pull in, strap on your skis and you're on the lift in 30 seconds. Sometimes you have the whole place to yourself. 1/2 the price of Sugarbush and Killington!

Great mountain with narrow winding trails, contrasting to the big ski areas around. The trails have varying steepness making for interesting runs. Not crowded at all!
