If you are relying on this to see if it is a good match for your child, (yes it is) dont rely on google, more than half of the comments here have good reasons why you cannot do something (like go to the back of the school) and are mostly untrue or you dont hear about anything bad (like the gangs). The Teachers are great and adapt to the slang/ popular jokes (that are apropriate) and makes them feel like friends, not just teachers. The teachers are also willing to help with anything or just chat during open time. A+ AFJH

This place an amazing place to go to IF you wanna be apart of at least 3 gangs at a time. There is probably 8 turf fights a week and the students are brutal. The three main gangs are the 7th graders, 8th graders and the 9th graders. I don't think of myself as any part of these gangs. The 7th graders turf is the math wing, the 8th graders turf is the west side of the school and the 9th graders rule all of the upstairs. You have to bring a bag of chips to the 9th graders for sort of safe passage on the upper floor. The 7th graders are to weak and scared to rebel against the 8th or 9th graders so the 7th graders have gotten the nickname "Scared Sevies" or just "Sevies" for short. In the past 50 years the three gangs lived in peace and respected but this year a Sevie that no one knows the name of he just goes by "Sharp" that's all he goes by. One day he was fed up with paying the 9th graders a bag of chips every time he went up stair so he stood up for himself and started a fight with a 9th grader. Sharp won the fight that day and on that day Sharp caused a rebellion, the Sevies were becoming braver and stronger and were standing up for themselves against the 9th graders. This of course caused some issues like the 9th graders hated the Sevies even more and would try and gang up on them but the Sevies had one great defense: running away and screaming like a little girl. They would run as fast as they could to a bigger group or to the Sevies turf. The 9th graders knew that if they went to the math wing they'll get jumped but a bunch of 7th graders.One 9th grader tried to be Sharp and go into the Sevies turf but he ended up with a black eye and bruised rib. The gang wars have only started this past month and it's the worst in the schools history.
