I don't go here but my sister does. I want to go here because i haven't been in school since i graduated high school in 2011. I'm kinda nervous because i don't know if i'm gonna have a good experience here, or a bad one.

The professors are fine and most of them are more than helpful. However, the staff in the administration are TERRIBLE. Every semester I have been a student they have caused some issue that could have very well been fixed had their staff been trained properly. It takes forever to get a question answered and half the people are unable to answer so they transfer or refer you to someone else. It's garbage. It's supposed to be one of the best junior colleges in the state, but the people hired in all of the admin offices don't make that obvious. it seems they are trying to improve, but I am still having issues.

Victoria College is a great place to get your basics or an associates. It sure beats paying huge tuition fees for similar classes that are much larger in the university setting where you get lost in the crowd. The staff truly wants you to succeed, and most of the classes are well taught and challenging. I am a current graduate student, and some of my most challenging courses were at Victoria College! The resources available include free tutoring for most classes, and you do not have to pay a ridiculous parking pass fee. Just make sure you know what your degree plan is for your university degree, and make sure you are taking equivalent courses for transfer. You can usually transfer up to 66 hours to a university.
