This "college" is an absolute joke

Galveston College is consistently voted number 1 favorite post secondary institution of higher education in Texas. The college now offers full time, day time Police Academy training run by the Galveston Police Department. 17 cadets graduated from the college in December 2018. The college has its own parking space. Remember parking on 41 and 39th streets are for residents only as is parking on Avenue R between 41and 39th street on the south side.

Galveston College offers so many opportunities for its students. All of the professors really get to know their students and want them to do well. The campus is smaller, which I really like because it feels like home. Galveston College offers a quality education at an affordable price. In addition, the support from the community in the form of the Universal Access scholarship is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

The worst most unorganized school I have ever attended, after turning in a form with my written name and address, they still managed to misspell my last name completely, and inputed an address that doesn't even exist. All of the mailed information was "lost" and I had to go up to the desk multiple times to have them correct my name and address, financial aid office is no help. Financial aid workers told me all this useless information, they also told me to complete a fasfa packet, with mine and my parents tax information transcripts attached and gave me 2 business days to have all that information finished and turned in, which was impossible since I have a full time job and work throought their business hours. I ended paying cash and withdrawed from their online physics course , and now after all of that, financial aid has the nerve to tell me they won't reimburse me due to my transferred credit hours.

An amazing community college that cares greatly for their students! The atmosphere is beautiful filling the campus with lush greenery and exotic bird calls. This college provides everything for the student such as a gym, cafeteria, and soon to be college dorms. The financial aid office works tirelessly to get the most for the student. I have been to multiple colleges and universities and Galveston College is by far the best one. I will recommend this college to my closest friends and family!

well,if u want the lowest grades and just self study and, u can choose here. unorganized school,even u should paid for tutoring, bc they dont hav a budget.they will charge u for every s##t.the health sciences program are the worse in the area with lowest passing rate.the professors are the difficult ppl to deal with. they teach 100pgs in 1hrs ,so u should study on your own,plzzzzz dont wast your time and your money.we are struggling to pass our classes.I know the rad-tech,n-med or radiation -trpy are the worse instructor, heavy material without even tutoring, we have just 2 professors for the program, they dnt know how to teach, dnt have a knowledge even about the material that they are teaching...just plzzz think first before applying for this location.

I am so frustrated with this school right now. If I didn't want my desired career courses right now, I would give up. I'm having such a hard time just signing up for classes. First I had a problem with getting registered because of an online school (that I NEVER took classes with) signed me up for student loans (that I didn't approve of), now I THOUGHT it was taken care of! BEFORE going through the process again, I asked financial aid if it was off my credit, they said it was. Once I applied for financial aid AGAIN, applied with the school, AGAIN, and picked out my classes AGAIN, now they are saying "the loans are still there". One hand apparently doesn't know what the other is doing!
