Proud to call this school my alma mater. It's not a perfect place but their willingness to wrestle through difficult things with a measure of transparency was important to me. I saw someone else complain that students would never be punished. That wasn't my experience. Perhaps they were negatively reacting to what I would call a spirit of grace. If Christians don't extend grace to each other and those under their care then don't call yourself by Christ's name. That doesn't mean consequences are ignored, and frankly people will take advantage of grace - it's the hardest line to walk but Jesus did it for us.

This school is amazing, particularly for majors related to ministry. It feels more like a family than a college.

I have been impressed with the high character qualities of the students, and with their commitment to Christ. They don't hesitate to put their faith to action in serving others. My wife and I are seniors with limited resources. The school sent 40 of their student volunteers to our house to spend a day painting the house and doing extensive, heavy yardwork on a hot day for no charge, and with an excellent spirit. We never would have been able to get this desperately needed work done otherwise. While they were here, some of them saw an elderly, disabled neighbor lady having a rough time getting to her mailbox because of some obstacles. The students immediately helped her, and removed the obstacles for her, without trying to get any recognition for their efforts. The neighbor later told us about it, commending them to us. We were quite impressed with them, and thankful for the experience to get to know that there are young people of such high caliber still out there.

If I could give zero stars, I would not hesitate to do so. This is the worst college. Not only are the hypocritical and judgmental, but they are not interested in teaching about God, they have stated that they are "no longer accepting those who are unsure about religion or wanting to know more because we are not the church" they have also written in their news letters "we have asked God to IGNORE the PRAYERS of those who are not dressed properly" what is their definition of dressed properly? not wearing shorts, but what is perfectly okay? dresses that are short enough to show half of someones butt. They play favoritism and label people. They fire staff with no legitimate reason or force staff to retire or leave to make it look like the employee was wanting to leave, and allow students to bully other kids and even the staff bully as well. Do not be fooled by the name, this is not a christian college, it is a sad excuses for adults to get together and try to breakdown and destroy young adults until they feel like they are nothing. Dallas Christian College- Giving out terrible degrees, degrading students and bullying since 1950

Regret of ever attending this college. Cannot even get a job with this worthless degree. Every job requires regional accreditation.

Wonderful college. I made life-long friendships and was equipped for my Christian walk through deep study of God's word, study of the original languages of the bible, mentoring and being mentored, and exposure to international missions. I would recommend saving up if you want to send your kids here, so they won't need to take out many loans. It also helps for students to take their basics at a community college and transfer the credits. DCC has an incredible Christian community, but the student needs to want that. For parents concerned about accreditation, you ultimately have to prayerfully consider with your kid what his/her life goals are. If DCC has the program he/she desires to pursue, then it's more a matter of how hard your child is willing to work to get a job with his/her degree, because it is possible. DCC is not for everyone , there are other Christian colleges your child can attend, but for those who are called to be at DCC and are willing to work hard, it can be a VERY rewarding experience. I would recommend this school especially for ministry-related majors.

I graduated from DCC over 15 years ago. Loved the school than and now. In a twist of fate my company moved last year. I can now walk from my office to DCC on my afternoon walks. Everyone I pass on campus is friendly and helpful.

Small but really a great hands on school. My first semester I was worried about the size of the school but I came to love it. The experience there has helped me become the person I am today.

My niece attended this school and was misled about her ability to transfer credits. This "college" has limited accreditation and none of her credits were transferable. She paid $10,000 for one semester with poor teaching and no useable credits.

Oh Where do I begin with this joke of a college. My daughter had went here last year and let me start off with them telling her she had gotten the highest of scholarships and with room and board it would be only $300.00 a month. WELL she did 2 semester's, which is good for her cause I would've gotten her out sooner than that if she would've let me. But she wanted to give it a chance. A CHANCE to get more LIES and them WANTED more MONEY out of pocket. This college LIES and ROBS you blind. Now that she has moved out she OWES more than what was told to get her in the door, they tell you one thing to lure you in that once your in they SUCK you DRY! And they call themselves a CHRISTIAN school?? JOKE! If we would've know what they were all about I would have NEVER let her go to begin with. So BEWARE this school is the BIGGEST JOKE and they LIE to make you feel like you did something good to get you there and LIE about MONEY. I could go on about broken promises and oh they also JUDGE you there, nice for a "CHRISTIAN" based school! Please STAY AWAY from this college and don't get sucked in to their LIES. Unbelievable!

Do NOT go here to get your GED!!! This GED is not real and is not registered under Texas Colleges. Dallas Community College District said this school's G.E.D. program is not recognized as a REAL school by the State of Texas. They will charge you an arm or a leg here for a "G.E.D." so avoid this program.

The Education Department here is amazing. Dr. Horn has done so much for this school and brought it to the standards of any education department in Texas. Currently a month or so from my graduation from this school, I can truly say that the best decisions of my life were to come play baseball at DCC and to get my degree through education department.
