Spent 6 years at UTC earning my MBA and loved the whole experience. Wholeheartedly recommend it if you're looking for a degree in business.

If I could give this school zero stars, I would. This University is a full on corporation. They do not care about students one bit. All they care about is the money. Most of the teachers really do not want to be there and the staff(bursars, finaid, VA, etc..) are not on the same page. They do not seem to have any information about anything, even though the job they were hired for is to be able to provide that information. I have two separate experiences with this place. First, I applied to use my VA benefits, I think in 2013. The lady gave me an excuse about, since I was Pre-Business I couldn't get it. So I had to withdraw. The next year I applied and I was able to use it with no problem. So I basically had to postpone going to school because someone lied or just didn't care to do the proper research. Second, this year, 2016. I started school for the spring and I decided I was going to go ahead and take out loans to finish school. So, I took out a loan to pay for books and tuition. I was waiting for my check, because we were heading into the 3rd week of school and I needed my books. So I called the Bursars and Finaid office. Bursars told me that they automatically add the loan to the tuition. I said, are books not a part of tuition and the girl said yes, but I think you would have to talk to the bookstore about that. Worng! So, I went and withdrew from my classes again and filled out the proper forms to decline the loan. Then, I went onto my loan account and realized UTC had taken some money out of the loan I declined to pay for the classes I had already withdrew from. School is an embarrassment and now I have to find another school outside of the city to attend.

I am currently a art student at UTC. I really do feel that the professors and the staff in the art department have only their students best interest at heart. They push us to see beyond our main focus, to make us push ourselves harder. They push us to learn. These amazing professors at UTC give their students every opportunity to succeed, but it is up to us to grab a hold of that opportunity. I really enjoy the art program and all the students, professors and staff in the UTC art department.

Let me tell you about my experience at the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE CHATTANOOGA. It is the place were I met my lovely husband, who'm'st is also a MOC. Just go there if you cant figure out what you are trying to be and then you gonna find out what you gonna be then you gonna flyyyyyy. GOOOOO MOCCCCSSSS.

Overall, it isn't a good school.

It was the prefect school for me because the class sizes were relatively small but the atmosphere of the campus felt like a "big school". I loved going to the Roundhouse and watching my Mocs play the likes of Ohio State,Georgia,Vandy, UTK, and even Indiana. Free all you can eat pancakes the night before finals, you can't beat that! Also, the financial aid process was a breeze. Not sure if she's still there but Rachel R. probably saved me 15k by going out of her way to find grants and scholarships that I didn't even know existed. As for the locale, you are literally 5mins away from Georgia, so a weekend Atlanta roadtrip is feasible. You really don't need a car to enjoy the city, UTC is right next door to Downtown and Coolidge Park. What I loved most about the Scenic City is that there was always something to do for the "outdoorsy types".You can be muddy in a cave in the morning, taking a train tour in the afternoon, and enjoying Riverbend that evening. The only takeaway was making my daily trek up and down Cardiac Hill(phew!), those who attended know what I mean.

Many good memories of my time at UTC...I feel that it is a great place to get a top notch education if you apply yourself. And OMG how it has grown since my time there.

My friend just warned me and i will help warn everyone else. if you are barley over the white line just a few inches then you will get an automatic ticket. whether a truck and SUV can fit vs a smaller vehicle that is in there. the campus needs to let people go for their first offense if they did not know the situation was going to become a big deal. in spite barley over the white line. it is much worse than city tickets and will not accept appeals for first offense of this situation. be aware of the way you park. parking is not so bad at other universities and this happen to be one to enforce it even though he was barley over the white line.

Their staff illegally altered my grades and their advisers added classes onto my schedule that didn't pertain to my degree running up $40K in student loans. I was originally supposed to graduate Fall 2016. I'm still having to continue my degree. Their staff made 0 effort to remedy or assist in the situation. I would not recommend attending this University at all.

Records office doesn’t pick up phones promptly or at all. You can call, and they’ll direct you, but good luck getting someone to actually answer! I called at 10am and 4:50pm EST...they skip out early and cut their lines OFF! DISAPPOINTING how they don’t care about OUR satisfaction regardless of the time of day!
