I am a graduate of Johnson & Wales University as an undergrad and found myself with the opportunity to return as a graduate student. It has been a great experience all around with fantastic instructors and challenging course work. I have also enjoyed the diversity and life experiences of my class colleagues and have very much enjoyed working with all of them. If you feel that an online degree is right for you and are considering your masters, I would highly recommend Johnson & Wales Online!

This is a very rewarding program. Since this is an online program you must have the determination and focus to complete the course work and if you run into trouble or need any kind of assistance the instructors and advisers are there to help you along the way. I enjoy that you are able to work at your own pace which allows you to balance all aspects of your life.

Words can not express, how grateful I have been to Johnson & Wales University and the School of Online & Continuing Education. I received my Associates and Bachelor's degrees from the Charlotte campus in May 2010 and loved the entire experience. I have always wanted to go back to school to obtain my Master's degree but never found the right graduate school that fit my needs, educational and career goals. Then I received an email from the alumni association about the introduction to the online graduate studies that changed everything. After speaking with a couple of advisers, I knew it was the perfect fit. It has been great to know that my entire college and graduate education has been through this school. The academic advisers have been there for any questions or concerns that have come up. I appreciate that my academic adviser calls up every couple weeks to check on me to see how I am doing and how my classes are going. To know you are still getting the personalized attention even across the country is great. I have nothing but positive and encouraging words to say about this school. I am proud to be a Wildcat and will be proud to receive my Master's Degree from this university.

As I am about 3 weeks away from wrapping up another trimester in Grad school at JWU, I wanted to take the time to submit a review of the school and program. I completed my undergrad with JWU on campus in Providence RI and graduated May 22, 2010. I will graduate with an MBA on May 19, 2016 from JWU in the online graduate program and I couldn't be happier. I've had an amazing experience with the school. My professors and advisors have been fantastic and the classmates have been amazing. I've met some terrific people throughout my time at JWU and still remain in touch with many fellow classmates from my undergrad program that I consider great friends. I received my undergrad through Johnson & Wales Charlotte campus and decided I wanted to continue my education, when I found out JWU offered and online MBA program with a focus in hospitality I decided this was for me! The online & continuing education staff as a whole is great, they go out of their way to make sure you are successful in completing your degree (including random checkups throughout the term). Online school had me worried at first but I have learned it is very flexible while working full time and as long as you stay motivated you are guaranteed to succeed.

I am just completing my fourth trimester with JWU College of Online Education. It has been the best experience for me. I completed my undergrad at JWU Charleston Campus and completed my BAS in 2001. I was nervous about returning to the "classroom" 15 years later as things have changed. There were no online classes when I was in college previously. Going to an online platform has afforded me the opportunity to get my MBA remotely while still holding a full-time hotel manager position and being a full-time Mom. The professors are extremely supportive and there are advisors that ensure you have all of the tools you need to be successful. I am a very independent student that enjoys taking classes at a different pace than many other people and this is where JWU shined. The online courses really allowed me to go at a more advanced pace than in a classroom. I was able to still interact with my classmates as I would in the physical and that's the part I truly enjoyed. Being online you are able to have access to so much information at your fingertips so much faster which adds more substance to our class discussions I feel. I appreciate my teachers being accessible through phone calls and even Skype/Google hangout when we needed group project support! The curriculum seems more relaxed and still challenging. The tutoring center is the most amazing part (outside of the professors and conveniences) of the online courses. Having 24/7 access is amazingly helpful, especially during exams when I am usually free at nights during the week. Thank you Johnson & Wales for offering a FULL MBA ONLINE!!! this has been super helpful for me to advance in my career while still striving to do such working physically out in the industry. It shows employers how serious I am about being I a higher up position and this creates more great opportunities for me!!!

This was my first time to undertake an online course. It was a great experience. I found the course more interesting since it was a personal initiative to ensure that the work is done. Thanks to the lecturer who, despite being far from the students, her interaction was always felt. She could always post the tasks as early as possible and remind us frequently to work on them. The most interesting part was the discussion of WSJ journals. The journals were always of current issues in the global market. The course came at a time when there was a paradigm shift in the Europe when the UK voted to exit the EU. In the discussions, we had a change to explore on the consequences and the possible remedies. The experience has really been flexible since we were give a complete week to complete a task including even the midterm and exams. Therefore one could spare time from a perceived busy schedule to prepare and complete the tasks. The lecturer did not take long to mark and record the marks. The experience was just wow.

The Johnson & Whales online MBA program has allowed me to go back to school while working a full time job. I am able to challenge myself in the classroom and obtain the knowledge that I will need to get ahead in the life. I'm currently taking financial reporting and control. It has been a difficult class but one that has been rewarding all together. Really gotten used to the program and appreciate all it has to offer.

I started with the School of Online & Continuing Education that September to begin working towards my MBA. The professors are very helpful and understanding that online students are also working professionals. Its easy to let the work get ahead of you but with enough motivation its easily maintained.

I got my Bachelor's degree from JWU, so I know the quality of education that they offer to students. This was my first time taking and online degree. At first I didn't know what to expect. I am an individual who has to be in a classroom setting to really grasp what is being taught. To my surprise JWU online has a very interactive avenue through Ulearn where you can interact with other students and professors. The professors respond to questions very promptly and that was a plus for me. The only drawback for me is that there are particular classes in my opinion cannot be taught online, for example business research was a difficult class for me. I think they can do a better job with making the online classes a little less confusing when it comes to courses that require intense work.

I was fortunate enough to take classes in person and online and experienced the same level of resources and support from my professors in each setting. I found the online classes easiest to balance with working full time and really enjoyed being able to work the deadlines around my schedule. The Master’s program has been both challenging and rewarding and I would certainly recommend this program to any considering.

I transferred to Johnson and Wales after gaining 2 associates from SUNY. Upon graduation of my bachelors, I decided i would continue JWU for my MBA. I did so in the class room until I got offered a position within Marriott that I couldn't pass up. However, I still wanted to finish my degree. With being over halfway done and only 4 semesters remaining I spoke to my advisor on what I should do. She suggest the online program. I did some research on the program and compared to other colleges. Their price was under half of what some other universities were charging and they have an amazing reputation and produce world class employees that are fitted with the right education to lead the workforce. Glad to say, GO WILDCATS!!!!

Once I heard about the Johnson & Wales University online MBA program and I was sold! The online program has offered a diverse pool of faculty members that are experienced and compassionate. I have the privilege of working with real industry professionals. Working full-time and going to school full-time can be a challenge but the faculty members were able to relate to my situation and provide the much needed help and support to make it through each course. I have gained a wealth of knowledge so far which I am able to apply in my personal and professional life. JWU's Online MBA is definitely the way to go!

I heard about JWU during my time at NYU (graduate student). I learned about their online MBA program and decided to transfer to their program in order to be more mobile while finishing my degree. This program is much more advanced and comprehensive than its competitor programs. I am happy that I made the change. It is more challenging as an online program but I do feel that I am getting a more applicable learning experience. Highly recommend this program to industry professionals who need to work full time.

Johnson and Wales has a great graduate online program. From the advisors to the professors where they have shown they truly care about attending to the needs of online students. It is a different learning process, but have created a great user friendly online system where it is easy to communicate and keep up with assignments. With every class I have been satisfied with different teaching styles that allow you to grasp the content and allow for multiple opportunities to be successful. A bonus are the class sizes and the online student community that is in place. It is nice to see familiar people as we progress with each class.
