Denison and the excellent teaching, advising, and mentoring I received there gave me a great education and sent me on to a top graduate school, a Ph.D., and a career. (I remain friends with faculty thirty years after I graduated.) These days, all that continues, and with a terrific sense of community at the college; students really do learn how to use and "leverage" their liberal arts cross-category thinking to start great careers in many many areas, whatever their major. The college is innovative, cares about advising, and draws a diverse group of students. Plus high rankings for "accessibility" of college through strong financial aid support (NYTimes).

Denison every year allows Special Olympics Ohio, area 6 athletes come compete on their grounds. Providing golf carts as shuttles to the different areas. They are amazing:-)

Denison is overall just a great school, but they really do well when it comes to relationships. Connections run deep among students, faculty and staff. There are plenty of opportunities for collaboration and applying classroom knowledge in the "real world." In a time when some liberal arts schools aren't doing well, Denison is thriving because they do a great job of combining a broad-based education with in-depth study of student's majors. Graduates are excellent communicators and problem-solvers-- exactly what our world needs right now. I'm so thankful for my Denison experience, and the opportunities I was afforded there!

Denison is a fantastic small private liberal arts school, just 30min outside Columbus, Ohio. With small class sizes, attentive professors, and plenty of support, the education is world-class. Everyone cares deeply about helping you build relationships with others and teaching you how to think for yourself and analyze the world around you. The campus is up on a hill, filled with scenic trees and manicured lawns. Granville, the town the campus is in, is such a sweet small town that features a fantastic farmer's market and fun shops and restaurants.

An all around tremendous university. Denison has amazing students, faculty, and staff that have embraced the idea that college education now must not only educate students, but work to build their skill sets to excel in the workplace. There are numerous internships, off-campus and on-campus research opportunities for students to spend all three summers working everywhere from scientific national laboratories to museums of art and history. Denison not only cultivates knowledge in students but molds them into autonomous thinkers. Beautiful campus and great Greek life system as well!

Denison is one of the top schools anyone looking for a liberal arts education could attend. The faculty and staff as well as fellow classmates provide a sense of belonging to anyone and everyone who visits or attends the school. During my four years attending the college on the hill, I made some of the best and most rewarding relationships with classmates, faculty, and staff. I continue to enjoy visiting the campus and love bringing my daughter to show her the great school that I attended. Besides my personal feelings about Denison, they are always doing their best to stay current with the times. This year, Denison has added many new additions to their curriculum. A new major in global commerce, a data analytics major, a concentration in financial economics and a new major in Health, Exercise, and Sport Studies (one that I am jealous they are offering since I graduated with an BA in Athletic Training). In addition to the new majors they have also added a new concentration in Narrative Nonfiction Writing.
