Honestly the only good thing about this place is the price. Food sucks, professors suck, and parking is just good awful. They spend millions "renovating" the university but can't even put in a decent parking lot. Then they charge you $50 for a parking pass with very few spots ever being open, so after you just say screw it and park somewhere so you can get to class you come back out to a $15 ticket

Wish i could give it zero. Very closed minded and prejudice institution where everybody in adminstration are alumni abuses their power. They live in a bubble you can tell most folks have never been outside of North Dakota even as a native Minnesotan which is right next door I am seen as a Foreigner.

I am sure they may have great programs but their International Student Department is incompetent when it comes to dealing with information and paperwork. Some of the information in their college catalog are misleading. I guess their are ok if you don't have any paperwork issues but they definitely don't want to go an extra mile to help you out.

No kidding around this is a great online University. The professors are outstanding and accessible and are backed with tremendous real-world experience associated with their disciplines. I'm a busy Dad that found the MSIS program to be a challenging but pleasant experience. I was able to frame a lot of my class projects around solving real business problems going on in my workplace! Not to mention it is accredited, brick and mortar, and inexpensive! I recommend MSU! I've done a lot of research based on similar graduate degrees and would do it again. I am weeks away from graduation!

I was apprehensive at first at the quality of education that I would receive after having moved from a larger University. I have been challenged and surprised and have made great connections with professors that I value. The staff has helped me through numerous intricate issues that were very specific to just me. Great education at an affordable price.

I registered for and started online classes in the fall of 2013, and withdrew the first week due to personal obligations. I shipped my books back within their timeframe, via UPS, and now in 2018, 5 years later, they are saying they never received my books and that I owe money for them, which is about to go to collections. Im sure this is a typical scam they use to collect money that they are not otherwise entitled to, because who on this planet saves their UPS receipts for 5+ years??? Honestly I am glad I did not stay with them for longer than a week, because who knows what else they might have lost....my grades, transcripts, or possibly proof that I was ever a student there??? If you choose this school, SAVE EVERYTHING and remember to cross your Ts and dot your Is carefully, their administration is hopeless at best!!

This university has lost my transcripts 2 times. Parking is horrible. Their advisors are a joke that aren't held accountable for their actions or blatant disrespect, which in my opinion is an abuse of power. I graduated on the Deans List of my previous college with no hassle. Going here makes me understand why people drop out and become strippers.

The programs at minot state are not wretched. I enjoyed several of my professors - they shared their experiences in the field without sugar coating things. Others were lazy, recycling lesson plans from decades past and dodging class like they were a freshman student. Outside of the classroom, this university is difficult to work with. The door locks to many dorm rooms do not work, and the university has refused to repair them for the past three months. The mediocre food is unhealthy, and the healthy food is disgusting. Wilted lettuce and bruised apples. Wifi works...half of the time. That is a serious issue when your online class requires participation in online meetings. The departments could use new testing materials. It seems that the funding that could address all of these issues is tied up in our atheletic programs. Oh well, we have the greatest Class X varsity underwater basket-weaving team in upper North Dakota. You get what you pay for at Minot State.
