Had to do most of my learning on the job. I was there when Saenz was the dean. Things seem to have drastically improved. We had professors who would mumble important things. Then we would all miss them on the exam. Most of the professors were not pharmacists, or had practiced very little. This made it hard for them to focus on turning out good pharmacists. Compounding lab was my favorite class of all. I also enjoyed medicinal chemistry. I think with the changes it’s a better school now. It has a mission of putting out better pharmacists and not just trying to get peopletoquit.
