Never felt like teachers didn't know me. Class sizes are great, campus environment is great. Everyone I've met has made a lasting impression. Lots of on campus job opportunities.

While the institution and students are great. You should know.... If you are 18-20, and you think that you’re going to have the freedoms to make your own decisions in the city of Keene, the city council makes them for you. A new ordinance was passed on December 6th, by 10 council members, to prohibit the sales of vaping products to 18-20 year olds. Whether you vape, smoke, abstain (good for you), you are not an adult in the city of Keene. Old enough to vote, old enough to die for your country, old enough to be on a jury. Just not old enough to vape.

the tour was GREAT. this college is actually in my top 3. the campus is beautiful, it is clean. really organized. the gym there is AMAZING, there is something for everyone and it's in a small city which is great too.

My sister is thinking of attending this school but we are no longer interested. The person that they met with in admissions was VERY rude to her and they were putting my sister down. They did not say anything nice about my sisters artwork nor toward the fact that we have published a poetry book (which is a huge accomplishment, thank you very much) The admisisons counselor was making fun of my sister's learning challenge and was making my sister feel very small compared to this woman's personality i.e. basically saying I'm better than you and what do YOU have to show for it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. We thought this school was a good choice for my sister but after this experience, forget it. I will be calling Keene and I will complain about this incident. How dare this woman put my sister down and make fun of her. how DARE she. Do not even bother with this school. If they are going to treat potential students as though they are meaningless pieces of trash, do not even bother visiting the campus. I am absolutely horrified that this happened. Keene should be aware of how rude and idiotic their admisisons staff representatives are. Do I honestly have to leave even a star? I wouldn't even give this school ONE star i WILL call this school and I WILL let them know how inhuman this person was toward a potential student. What a great way to decrease your income, Keene. Hire rude obnoxious little twits to work with potential students. I am appalled. MY SISTER WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL.

Seems like the college is only really put to get your money and charges you for everything they possibly can. Fees for any offense is through the roof and secret charges are bs. My roommate dropped out halfway through and I have to pay $500 even though I had no control over it whatsoever. Only good thing I found here is the setting Keene is a beautiful town, the college is in need of improvement for sure

No pumpkin festival for 2015! Way to go. Glad I was there to see the last one ever. If the morons that attend this college had a tiny bit of decency you would have helped keep this festival going. WARNING! DO NOT send your child to this school. This school is known for squashing sexual abuse charges. Unfortunately, my daughter was one of them. This young man, very well known to the Keene Police and well known to the Title 9 Coordinator at Keene State, attacked my daughter. My daughter did everything she was supposed to in terms of reporting the incident. She called security, the Title 9 Coordinator, the Dean, and the President of the College. The Title 9 Coordinator drew up a 13 page report which my daughter provided all of the sickening details. My daughter contacted an advocate on campus to attend the "hearing". It was his word against hers. This guy lied about everything that occurred. My daughter spoke eloquently and provide specific details about the events that happened. This male student was an international student who could hardly speak English, dealt drugs on campus and harassed and attacked numerous female students. When the verdict came back: NOT GUILTY/NOT RESPONSIBLE. My daughter nearly had a breakdown when this came back but she knew she had done the right thing and it actually made her stronger. Needless to say, my daughter does not attend this horrible drug infested school any longer. SO, if I could give this school a ZERO I would!

Keene State is a "right sized" college. My Daughter loves it. It has as many course offering as she could wish for. The campus is new and well built, with quiet dorms (cinder block, not sheet rock).It may have a reputation as a party school, but from what Iv'e seen, students are serious and very courteous.. It does have a high number of commuter students, but the on campus life is good and clean. (only your child will know for sure). Regardless of what you may have heard, academics are rigorous, and an excellent education is guaranteed to all that apply themselves.

I graduated in 2008 with a B.A. Not the best institution in the state. I’ve read some of the recent comments and it appears as though people are still bitterly commenting on the problems many had back when I attended. Parking difficulties, party-school image/ environment, and poor professor-student relationships. Step up your game Keene State.
