This is a terrible college. You cannot get help from supervisors in the admissions department and they give you the run around. This college is adding new requirements everyday so they can keep you in school and make more money. The teachers lack any type of teaching skills and do not know the course materials. Find a different school.

Faculty are professional and helpful, as well as the staff. It has been a pleasure to attend, so far. Only drawback is the drive out there from Hederson and Las Vegas, but the tuition is better

This school is a great experience. It is a small yet influential college and my time there has been extremely challenging and fun. The study resources to help students succeed and on-campus community events are unmatched. They have a cadaver lab which is unheard of for undergraduate college. The downside of this school is that they lump the Biology program in with the Liberal Arts school not giving the science degrees the attention they deserve.

Eh !!!!!!!!!!!! How I liked to walk around the college itself - I walked around it and took a lot of photos - it’s not only a science center, but also architectural landmark of the state of Nevada. With the naked eye you can determine how much money is invested here - everything is thought out to the smallest detail and it is very pleasant to contemplate the beauty of the landscape. I was personally embraced by the most pleasant and enthusiastic emotions. There is an excellent cafe and you can eat not expensive, there is a library on the 2nd floor and all the tables are equipped with sockets for recharging laptops. I would also make covered parking for cars, because it is very hot. I changed the technique - I took a camera and walked around the area, then I took a laptop and went into the room. Ей нравится посещать занятия и быть частью замечательного коллектива. ---От себя добавлю, что расположен он как-то на окраине города Лас Вегас и мы добирались машиной около 30 минут. Перед взором открывается панорама степи и гор - среди этой степи и песка выросло здание колледжа, как монумент человеческим всемогучим рукам, как незыблимый монумент науке и знаниям. Эх!!!!!!!!!!!! Как мне понравилось гулять по самой территории колледжа - я ее обошла вокруг и много фотографировала - это не только научный центр, но и архитектурная достопримечательность штата Невада. Невооруженным глазом можно определить, как много денег тут вложено - все продумано до мелочей и очень приятно созерцать красоту ландшафта. Меня лично охватывали самые приятные и восторженные эмоции. Тут есть отличное кафе и можно не дорого покушать, есть библиотека на 2-этаже и все столы снабжены розетками для подзарядки ноутбуков. Я бы еще сделала крытые стоянки для машин, потому что стоит сильная жара. Я меняла технику - то брала фотоаппарат и гуляла по территории, то брала ноутбук и шла в помещение. И...мой ноутбук в машине нагревался как горячий утюг.

Bookstore is horrible. Manager has zero customer service and is quick to blame professors. Shipping is late, prices higher than any other textbook options. Bad representation of this college.

The school is ok but the teachers and staff are split between amazing and wanting to help and those who just don't care at all and the financial department is the worst iv ever seen and if you have any kind of issue no one is willing to help in that department

Horrible school would not recomend passed all my test and my assignments just failed the last test by one point and they failed me 800$ for 5 credits was waisted

I Enrolled here at 2015-2016 semester and this is far the worst experience I ever had as a college student. The staff at the registration are had little knowledge about transferring students. I had a big problem with my pell grant and ending owe them $1600. To make the long story short stay away from this school.

Your review of this school depends on which degree you are pursuing. I am pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration. The issue Im having right now is the lack of teachers available to teach the classes I need to graduate. Some classes are only available during the spring or fall. When I ask about class availability or advisement I get the usual "we are a small school and we are working on it". Its a decent school overall. Some teachers are great and some seem like they literally just watched a youtube video and began teaching that day. This school has potential to grow but they really need to weed out the so so teachers and up the class availability.

I just enrolled for this college and so far am not happy. They don't seem to have the prioties in order, don't have enough staff, and cannot even deal with proper phone calls. If it didn't waste time and commitment in my schooling, I would probably transfer out.

Sometimes I love this school and other times I absolutely hate it. The instructors are split down the middle with wonderful and absolutely horrid. The class selection is awful because of lack of staff. Only one class is offered per most subjects and they're offered at times no working person can attend. The advising office is a total joke. Don't even bother talking to an adviser.

I love Nevada State College! The faculty and staff are terrific and the student experience is amazing! Class sizes are small and the quality of the teaching is superb! As a parent, I hope all of my children can attend NSC someday!

As of right now, I am a junior at Nevada State College and attending to such college has been by far one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. Everyone here want you to be successful. They care for their students future. Almost in every corner, there is support for students. Great 4 year college! My younger sister is coming this upcoming year and I can’t wait for her! :)

The student center is a very unfriendly experience, there is a male and female with braids at the front desk. The female seems very rude, no customer services skills at all working at the front desk. Then you hear her get off a call and talk bad about the person calling into the college student center. I thought this college would be great to go to. Now I’m second guessing. The advisors seems unfairly not one smile.

Nevada State College has been a great school to me. It's a growing school so we may not have all the amenities a big university does, but we are getting there. The professors are great and approachable so long as the student is willing to learn. Be warned, it is competitive, especially those who plan on entering the nursing program. Its a competitive industry and can you blame them if they want to weed out those that do not have what it takes to succeed in the program?

Nevada State College makes me feel welcome. Although relaxed and open, the long term goal seems to be prevalent in everyone's mind: to help the students grow, and by extension the school. There are always opportunities to be had, and there are great people willing to guide you to them as long as you seek them. I'm so glad I get to be here and be one of the people to play a tiny role in the future of an institution that shows great promise. I can't wait to see what the future brings!
