We love School of Rock Kirkwood - they have nurtured a love of music in my daughter, and have helped her through a tough time as she is a drummer and broek her thumb - taking vocal lessons while she heals and then gets to go back to her drumming lesson slot with her favorite teacher as soon as she's better. We had a bullying situation early on that was quickly resolved just by the mission of inclusion and acceptance that the school promotes. Couldn't be happier here!!

I love that the kids play songs they recognize and can get excited about. I love classical music but my 5yo gets way more excited about playing along to Joan Jett's "I love Rock 'n Roll" than any sonata. It's just FUN! And I love how the older kids become more independent and can create and star in their own shows. That they learn the responsibility of other kids depending on them to show up and perform. And they get curious about GOOD MUSIC, no matter the decade. These kids can ROCK!

I can't say enough great things about the School of Rock! My 14-year old son has been playing drums for several years, but when he joined School of Rock 6 months ago, things really took off. He has become a confident musician. The School of Rock staff is top notch - not only are they fabulous musicians themselves, but they are also patient and creative instructors. School of Rock also gives the kids many opportunities to play at really awesome local venues as well as participate in an annual battle of the bands at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Our only regret was that our son didn't start sooner!

My teacher, Pam, is very knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. The other voice teachers that I’ve had as subs are equally as good. I am making a lot of progress due to their expert teaching. School of Rock is a great choice for anyone.

We love School of Rock - Kirkwood! We are going into our 2nd year and my son loves it! Not only is my son learning to play guitar and bass, but his confidence and playing skills have improved tremendously. Where else can you get such an experience as here at School of Rock? Private lessons are great but they don't teach you how to perform before a live audience, nor how to play in a band with others. These kids learn what it takes to actually perform! Priceless!

Fantastic staff. Fun and inviting atmosphere. My instructor was very knowledgable and patient with me. Very impressive how Molly and Whtney remember everyone's name as they come and go. I mention SOR every chance I get to both young and old. It's an aspiring musician haven. Even if it's for your own personal enrichment. I'm 51 and I plan to rock my guitar for the rest of my life.

School of Rock, has been wonderful for my daughter. It pushes her to step out of her comfort zone, get in front of people, self promote, collaborate, and get exposed to some of the best people and places in St. Louis. Oh yeah, and play music. All of these things are important in life (not just in music). It is a much bigger picture than kids just being in a band. This team at SOR continues to impress me every week with what they come up with to expand these kids horizons beyond what they probably thought they could do. Kudos to the team over there. Jarret
