Interviewed for a staff position in their library. Not a pleasant experience. Their staff are all WHITE and includes no diversity initiatives -- excludes minority candidates.

Did the four year program after getting my AA at community college. I graduated with a degree in illustration. It was an amazing experience and totally worth it, with in-state tuition. Amazing professors in the design and illustration departments, the student community is creative and inspiring everyday.

I would have loved going there, but as a transfer student my options are limited. I honestly should have known that I would've been fighting an uphill battle the moment I tried to transfer into the Illustration. It's a popular major, and there's no room for someone like me. The people I met there are wonderful and have given me a lot of help, but it's unfortunate that they have no room for me. I only wish I knew sooner.
