Get College Going made what I anticipated to be an arduous, confusing mess into an easily understood, goal-oriented process. Starting late in high school, I was unsure of what and where I wanted my college experience to be. Presented with dozens of standards and statistics and choices, I was overwhelmed. Get College Going took all that, and showed me what all of it meant, how to organize and parse the facts, and most importantly, how to take action and get to where I wanted and needed to be. I'll be attending my second year at The University of Massachusetts Lowell this fall, and still could not be more grateful for all of the help.

College. Just the word was overwhelming to me when I was beginning my search. My high school counselors were little help other than suggesting the top schools that would look good for the high school. Tom helped me (and many of my friends) navigate the process of selecting a range of schools that fit my interests, both academically and socially, at the right size for me and within driving distance to home. After guiding me through the application process, Tom was there to help figure out how to pay for my selected school with scholarships and loans. Parents and students this is a process you don't need to go through alone! Tom can be a huge aid in finding the right college fit for you and getting you there. (Yes, Tom O'Hare is my father and I have personally seen him help many of my peers, siblings and neighbors successfully get through the college process.)
