EITC 2001 graduate. Straight forward, applicable education without too many unrelated general classes. The Computer Networking Technologies program helped lay the groundwork for my successful IT career. They also offer many great community programs.

Attended recently. Accounting instructor doesn't teach anything substantial. Student Services personnel are rude, and Business Office workers were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. This place is a clown college, and you will get a mediocre at best education out of it. Credits don't even transfer to major universities. It's better to pay a bit more and go to a real college in the first place. EITC is a joke.

First off they hire special needs individuals to help out in the lunchroom and bookstore, so if you call one of those locations and the person can't spell very well that is why. I am in the welding and fabrication program. I do not have a class that has over 15 people I have not met an instructor there yet that is unwilling to spend extra time with me outside of class, one teacher even gave me their personal cell number so I could call if I had trouble with an assignment. Like most of the other students that attend I have a family and a full time job, the teachers are very understanding and helpful with this when it comes to deadlines. They also have a very good tutoring center that is free. EITC is very helpful with helping and working with individuals to succeed, if you attend school here and fail a class you really have no one to blame but yourself. Pro's Low tuition cost Small class size Available one on one teaching Night/day/weekend classes Con's Low name recognition Despite excellent programs they seem to be less respected because they are a technical college.

I have been attending this college since 2012 it is now 2015 and I have still yet to finish my program. At first I sat down with a counselor and we came up with a schedule for my prerequisites that would end the semester before my professional program. After completing my prerequisites on time and being told I have a guaranteed spot in my program for the upcoming semester I was waitlisted another year. Now I am once again guaranteed a spot in my program of study, but they decided to wait on sending out my acceptance letter until the day my letter of intent was due as well as attending a mandatory meeting the next day. So they don't even give their students 24 hours to plan for child care or anything else, but expect us to be professional. If I wasn't so close to being finish, or have invested so much time or money into this college I would have left long ago. The medical professors are amazing, but the counselors or other facility seem to not care, or seem to not understand how to do their jobs.

Great place to go to school. $105 per credit is cheaper than most colleges around. Transfers well. Went there for 4 part time years. Can't wait to see it become a community college. Business Tech program is ☆☆☆☆☆. Great resources though out campus.

Best College in town! Hands down.

GED program was great!

This isn't a school, it's a government company trying to take your money. Pay $400 a class to sit in hard plastic chairs for 2.5 hours and be seated next to 16 year olds when your 50. It's a joke of a school and the ''advising counselors" are just there for their paycheck and to use their working hours to study classes they are taking, instead of helping people enroll in their school.

Nice and clean campus seems to be well organized, the technical department seems very organized with all the tools and the training necessary to be prepared for my job. The campus was so clean and so organized that I think I will sign my wife up so she can start classes in the fall. We even showed up before classes were to supposed to start, and the security guard was good about letting us in, it was pretty cold, I hope somebody checked on him cuz he had to walk what seems like miles just to come open the door for us.

I attended school here from 2005-2008. I attended the Automotive Technology and Diesel Technology programs. I have to say that I truly enjoyed my time and education I received at EITC. The technology instructors are highly knowledgable and very approachable. The class sizes were kept small and we had plenty of time with the instructors. I recommend this school for all of your technical education needs.

I was impressed with the level of realism in the CTE programs for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Dental Assistant, and Surgical Assistant. When students graduate with their 2 year certificate, they are well-prepared to enter the workforce. If high school students attend a high school which offers one or more of these CTE programs in partnership with CEI, such as Bingham Academy in Blackfoot, through concurrent enrollment they could graduate high school and complete this certification at the same time!

Reid Talbot

I took a certification in their testing center, and it was a good experience

Thought about transferring there for the Computer Networking program from Idaho State University. I had to call over there twice to finally get some to call me back. The gentleman who called me was a complete dick. Treated me like I wasn't smart enough to test into the program and gave me very vague information. With that said, I didn't even apply to EITC.

The teachers and managers were unprofessional and treat students badly

The staff is always very helpful and kind. I have never had a problem with anything in the several years I've been frequenting this school. They've recently updated and remodeled a lot of the campus as well. Flexible scheduling as well.

I like where I live and people are really nice
