I switched my school because it was cheaper closer and better opportunity for me. Nevertheless this place is beyond unprofressional. No calls returned or answered rather. I drove to this school multiple times from an hour away in Atlanta dreadful traffic only to stumble upon dreadful admins of this campus with wrongful information.... I'm unsure if I want to still further with an education here despise the few things I like about this campus

Jaffah sterling

Just completed CMV /CDL program that they have. All in all it was a good experience, great instructors who know the business and always willing to go the extra mile to help you succeed. I was in the night class and My instructor Marlow would come in early so we could get more time to practice in daylight. He constantly motivated us and was always dropping gems. Some people give this school a bad rep. But I think it’s what u make of it as long as u come in ready to work and take it SERIOUS then u shouldn’t have any issues.

Ashley Ernest

This School is very unprofessional. They are a bunch of liars only care about their self and not the students. Please close this school

I'm in the fatherhood program and I signed up for the forklift training. Our instructor, Mr. McCall did a great job instructing and training the class on how to operate several different types of forklifts. If anyone is interested in getting their forklift certification, I recommend taking Mr. McCall class.

Williams Myron

Mr. McCall is one of the most energetic knowledgeable forklift instructors I've ever had a chance to train alongside. Money well spent

K Davis

I took Mr. McCall's 2-day forklift training class. This is a great training class for new and inexperienced forklift operators. The training is done at ATC's training facility near the intersection of Fulton Industrial Blvd and Boat Rock Rd. When you arrive, the training entrance is in the back of the building. You get to train on a sit-down counterbalance forklift, clamp forklift, and stand-up, narrow-aisle reach forklift. Great instructor and great training. Mr. McCall is a patient, hands-on instructor. I highly recommend this class.

Prince Purcell

Mr.McCall from the forklift class at ATC was a excellent instructor. The registration was super easy and a quick process! I definitely recommend it hands down!

Tony Robinson

Up to this point a very disappointing experience. The information flow between staff members does not seem to exist. The financial aid, business office and registration area is set up like a prison instead of a place to welcome you and assist you. There should no reason a person has to speak to a person through glass about anything when it comes to their school affairs. It's obvious what they think of the population they serve. The staff had not been fully trained on black board to assist students properly. Asking for in depth help or assistance is an issue with most staff. The information about financial aid was vague at best. The only bright spot was the VA representative and the barber instructors. It's obvious they don't want you around the registration, business, and finance area based on the first thing to greet you when you walk I the door is a guard with limited knowledge about the school and the attitude to match. This school could be so much better sad to see what it is.

Derrick Deane

Mr. McCall was very informative and helpful with the forklift class. I came in not knowing anything and I feel very comfortable with the safety procedures and driving of the forklifts. Very informative class and great teacher.

Emm Dee

I’ve never attended, however they left a poor first impression. I called several times with no answer, so I decided to go to the campus and just walk in. I tried calling one last time and someone finally answered. I asked to schedule an appointment with an advisor about taking some prerequisite classes before applying for my desired degree. Whoever I spoke to asked me why I didn’t go online and that everything I needed was there. I replied I’m a transfer student so I want to know about transferring credits, registration and cost of attendance. I again urged to meet with an advisor but she replied the same. While on the phone with me, she looked online to the page for the program I wanted to apply for instead of the cost of attendance, registration and transfer credit info for the prerequisites I need to take and gave a very disrespectful comment saying “no wonder you wanted to come in there so much information on the page, you didn’t want to read all of this huh?” Very unprofessional and very disrespectful.

Toya’s Truth

This school is the worst school I have ever attended I wish I looked at the reviews before wasting my time and money ...I paid my application fee twice because the admission office lost my app then I went to ask question about my financial aid and they were so rude that I just went home and tried to figure it out on my own .... not to mention that I started school in Jan 2019 and it’s now March and I still have no refund to even buy my books so I’m no about to go any school work without guessing answers ...don’t waste your time at this school it’s the worst

rory champgne

Fort Lifting class is great. Excellent teacher, Mr. McCall and training is hands on. Overall a great course to take.

I recently just enrolled, and registered for my classes. However I keep getting a email stating I have a outstanding balance. When in fact I've received my financial aid. I have screenshot to back up my claims. After going back, and forth with the woman at financial aid. She finally admits that their system is down, and has been for the pasted two weeks. When I informed the business office of the system error. She basically told me "there's nothing else she can tell me. They're suppose to be working on it before Monday. Monday is the day they will start purging (dropping ppl from their classes) for lack of payment. I asked "what if it's not up by then? What am I suppose to do?" She replied "just keep calling, and transfer me over." I've left an voicemail , and email I have yet to get an response.

No stars for this school RUN for the hills.1st the Financial Aid idiots (this nicest word I can call them) every semester they screw up so when the first week of school comes its an 3-4 hours line and then these idiots have the nerve to have an attitude REALLY ARE YOU SERIOUS! I've been in line this long an you have the attitude So if Financial Aid screws up (which they do) your Financial Aid doesn't come and you've just stood in a 2 hours bookstore line for the cashier to tell you your money hasn't come.I know some people may say you should have completed your paperwork on time .Guess what ? I did after checking on my paperwork 1,2,3,4,5 different times just for they can say I need 1 more document each time and the 6 time they didn't even bother to tell me no email no nothing .Something just told me to check and after waiting 4 hours just for them to tell me in 2 minutes they need my I.D just made my day, LIKE I STATED BEFORE RUN, RUN LIKE FOREST THERE ARE BETTER SCHOOLS ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE YOUR TRANSPORTATION!

Larry White

+enjoy the class Mr. McCall takes pride and pleasure in ensuring you learn the correct and safe way to operate forklifts. learnt a lot during my visit. Thank You Mr. McCall !!!!!!!!!

I want to say that the FORKLIFT CLASS was and is Excellent. I have recommended this class to several of my friends. I am confident that I can go out and find a job today. Mr. McCall is a wonderful instructor, who took his time was patient and kind and mostly tolerant. The Urban League is wonderful for what they are doing. I am going to also get an Urban League Membership. I wish Mr. McCall was going to teach the CDL Class also. I urge anyone who wants to learn to drive Forklifts to search out the Urban League and Mr. McCall in particular, if you want to truly learn to Drive Forklifts and are Thinking about a new career path you need to take Mr. McCall’s Forklifting Class.

Cameron Mills

Great Forklift class @ Atlanta Technical college taught by a Mr.Mcall. It was easy to register for and the class was not long at all. I Recommend This class for people who want to learn how to operate a forklift.

Scorpio Moon

Mr. McCall as out forklift instructor, he was thorough and made sure we understood what we were doing and even took our resumes to send to local employers and suggested the ones hiring around the area.

Drew Travis

Signed up for the 2 day forklift class, and Mr McCall blew my mind with all the info he provided. Atlanta has one great instructor on there hands . Thanks Mr. McCall

E Clay

I enjoyed the forklift class. The instructor was knowledgeable and supportive. My classmates were supportive too.

Amir Herron

Mr McCall did an excellent job teaching the Forklift class! It was fun and educational, and I feel completely prepared to get the job I want now

Mario McMichael

Mr McCall instructor of the Atlanta Area Tech Forklift Program was very informative and patient with the students. Upon graduating from the class; I felt confident I had the skill set needed to be successful in securing a new career.

Renita Muckle

The forklift training class is amazing. Trained anf certified in 2 days. The class was fun n upbeat. I really learned alot! The instructor was cool and relatable .I'd recommend this class to anyone who wants to become certified.

Langston Daniels

I have never operated a forklift before my time in the Atlanta Technical College’s Forklift Certification Class I-VII. In less than 24 hours, Mr. McCall has turned me into an adept at operating the forklift. I now know the intricacies of the warehouse industry. Having taught hundreds of students, Mr. McCall is qualified to instruct the ins-and-outs of this much needed skill. I am happy to have been a part of this class and can leave knowing I’ve been taught by the best.

Talia Whitley

In June i took Mr. McCall's forklift training class and was certified in a short period of time. He makes the class fun and entertaining which made me feel comfortable. After a few months i was looking for a job and he helped me find a good job.Thank you Mr. McCall.

Galley Firmin Amedayenou

I have a good forklift training with Mr McCall. He was nice and I can recommend his for everyone.

Danielle Williams

Atlanta Technical College (Mr. McCall) Forklift Program Class is definitely my first choice of reference. Not only are his Teaching Skills at an all time "Expertise" but he individually learns and comprehends each students learning ability. Thanks for changing my L I F E! I'm a OSHAAAAAAAA Forklifter Nooooooooooooooooooooooow!

Samantha Chambers

Definitely not coming back for fall..had to come up to the school almost 6 times just to be fully registered! No one responds to emails or answer the phone. Brought my transcripts In by hand and they still didn’t process my information until I came back 3 weeks later to find out what’s going on. Went to the bookstore, light skin lady with the braids had a horrible attitude. Didn’t explain anything just rude and negative for no reason. It’s so unprofessional and frustrating never experienced this and this is my first time and last time at the school.

Chuckie Carson

I attended Atlanta Technical College for forklift certification. The process was very easy to register through eventbrite. Mr. McCall did a great job teaching the material and the class was also fun. I would recommend this class to anyone!

Christopher Williams

The Osha Certified Forklift Class was great. Mr. McCall is knowledgeable and experienced. The training provided leaves no questions unanswered. The hands on driving was the best part in my opinion. I feel that I have solid understanding of what to do and what not to do. I am excited about my new career path.

CAPTAiN JAC

Wish I could give a zero.....Did not attend the school but I have been trying to contact someone to get information about a program and enrollment and all I get is transferred and no return phone calls. If this is what it is like to just get information about enrollment I could not even imagine the nightmare of being enrolled and needing help. I was going to attend due to the fact it is not far from my house and work but at this point i would rather drive the hour and deal with traffic to Cobb county to enroll in Chattahoochee tech versus dealing with this ridiculous unprofessional school.

Salah H. Basha

I had a great experience in ATC from 2015-2017. Awesome teachers and as international student I believe they had the best international students adviser Ms. Susan Marshall.

Cy Cy Lachelle

Terrible school lack of professionalism.. I had a bad car accident called weeks ago to inform teacher and let them know because I have put in a lot of work and hours to receive no initial callback as well as total attitude yelling (just rude!) No good comes to those with evil in heart. All I wanted is to continue learning and be ensured that coming back would be an easy process. I do not recommend this school to anyone... Not even blacks! Our race NEEDS to do better amongst one another- Bless those who are great here and are over shadowed by the rotten apples.

P Barker

Wanting to attend the school for continuing education in the technology field. There is NEVER EVER anyone that you can contact by phone. YOU NEVER get to speak to a live person. The initial impression is bad.

DoitallTV ™

I took the forklift class and it was a great class. I was able to learn a lot. My instructor did a magnificent job of making sure i was comfortable. He gave us a lot of information and was very hands on at the same time. I think the best thing about the program was how they were able to work things out with me and my schedule after i missed my first two classes.

Michael Edwards

I joined the fatherhood program right after my release from prison I needed help with employment the fatherhood and Atlantatech has done more then I expected I received my forklift certificate Mr. McCall was one of the best instructors that ever taught me anything very good teacher thank you Fatherhood Atlantatech and Mr. Mccall for giving me this opportunity to better my family lives. Nothing but success and I also want to thank Mr. Williams with the fatherhood program for working so hard for me thank you.

etienne burrell

Just got forklift certified today. Our instructor Mr McCall did a great job. Thanks you Mr McCall. Also thanks to Atlanta tech and their partnership with the Urban League keep up the good work.

Faith Foster

I had called in June and I called about 4 time about the enrollment and no return called. I emailed them as well and no email back. I haven’t even started the school and already having bad feeling about this school.

Cactus God

The only downfall of this school is the financial aid. The teachers are excellent!

Neffe Beee

THIS PLACE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE A SCHOOL , they never do anything in a timely manner , everyone mostly the staff is just rude , people in an office don"t bother to answer a phone call not even sometimes , the staff talks to you like you annoy them or you're stupid for having questions or concerns , they over charge you or charge you for things they don't even cover / offer , Have any of you guys seen the dorm they charge almost 5,000 for or the "1,000" food they charge you for? me either , then when its time to get your refund it ALWAYS late for some odd reason . But maybe just maybe you might get a teacher that actually teaches you something....BIG MAYBE .....

SB13 Boonk

They doing great things at Atlanta Technical College i recommend the forklift program ran by MR.McCall

Jasmine Deveaux

You have been warned! Although this school is convenient and affordable, they are very disorganized and slow. It’s impossible to reach anyone via phone or email so be prepared to take of a day or two from work just to speak to someone. Some of the staff are very rude and some of the teachers are great while some have that “I got mines you get yours mentality”.

Tyler Ehoussou

Mr McCall at Atlanta tech forklift class was great it got done fast and it was very easy to learn won’t let you leave till u got it great job

DeMario Reeves

Atlanta Technical Colleges forklift program ,instructed by Mr. Mccall, happened to be a great training experience. The program was very hands-on, everyone got individual acknowledgement from Mr. Mccall which made the program a success.

Dawn Chiaravalli

This is by far the worse schools I have ever attended! Do not waste anytime on the Sterile Processing Program & Surgical Tech Program...very unprofessional, I wouldn't trust that these programs were accredited. Book is worth s***, everything combined RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FAST!

Raymond Cruz

I want to say I have learned a lot in two days and I have never used a forklift. The instructor Mr.McCall had a lot of patience and worked us through everything!!!

Sacred Lotus Henna

If it were possible to rate this school zero stars I would. The business office is 100% terrible. I waited more than 3 weeks after being given 3 different dates to receive a refund for a class that I dropped. This was my own personal money, not federal aid that they were not giving me back. I was always told that the person who handles accounts is out of the office. Please take your money elsewhere and get a better quality education with better administrative support. Please note that the only people who have had great experiences at this school were in the forklift training program.

Earth Harvey

Mr. McCall Fork lifting class is great very positive, informational and great teaching and definitely learning .

Official Dre Reed

Mr. McCall is a great instructor, very hands on and patient. In two days you'll be (OSHA) Forklift Certified and fully capable in operating, maintaining and inspecting Forklift Classes I-VII efficiently and safely. I recommend his course to anyone looking to get certified.

Taylor Pulling

If you manage to get anyone from this place to get back in touch with you, they are far from helpful. I went thru the entire enrollment process, only to be forgotten and ignored by this alleged institute of higher learning. I was contacted 2 weeks after classes started with an email saying I have been missing class.......classes that I did not enroll in. Calling this place a joke would be a vast understatement.

Tony Brown

When u graduate!! Employees pay u lower than the other colleges!! They treat them like they are homeless and dum!!!

Jeremiah Kinser

If you are thinking about coming here for online classes, do your best to find another school. These guys are an absolute joke, but for the degree I am in, I have no choice but to stay. I am a person who gets things done ahead of time and since I live 3 hours away, getting help over email or phone is impossible and once you do, they are down right rude and will hang up on you.

Jermaine Gibson

I thank Atlanta Tech and the Urban League for giving me the opportunity to better myself with getting this forklift certification. Mr. McCall was a great instructors. He was a very knowledgeable instructor, as well as very patient. I'm very thankful for them all! Jermaine Gibson

Gabbii Chante

THIS SCHOOL HAS THE MOST HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION IVE EVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH !!!!! NO ONE ANSWERS WHEN YOU CALL AND THEY ARE ALWAYS GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND ….I APPLIED TWO MONTHS AGO AND STILL DONT HAVE AN ADMISSIONS STATUS !!! IF YOU CAN HELP IT...………... DO.NOT.GO.HERE !!!!!!!!

Baby Girl Jvz

I am i the only one who never can get in touch with office of admissions? NOBODY answers the phone.. I'm starting to regret applying at this school.

Nick Junior

The enrollment process so far is so unorganized along with the staff. Why is it WE as black people are always unprofessional in business settings. For someone who’s first tine this is I’m seriously reconsidering my entire thoughts on going back to school certainly this one. I guess this is what you get when you go to a “community college”

Shamil Colson

Took the forklift class with Mr. McCall.... he is the best when it comes to teaching someone how to operate a forklift. .. I am a Army Veteran and they put me to work immediately after the class .....even during the class he gave out opportunities to get hired at multiple jobs and multiple positions. ..... he's a great guy and commands a great work and training environment .... I wouldn't mind working for or with this guy!

B Griffin

Don't go here they don't care about the students. Had a meeting about my grade because the professor shows favoritism towards other students. I wanted him to extend it for me like he did others. But didn't extend my grade. The dean's stood on his side and was like we don't have any proof. BUT CLEARLY HE WAS LYING. HORRIBLE SCHOOL FOR EVEN DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS

Eric White

I had a great experience wit Mr McCall doing my 2 day course of getting #Forklift Certified! I learn alot about forklifts that I thought I knew and did not I learn about safety of others and my self. Thanks again Atlanta Technical College for this experience.

Faye

The most disorganized school ever. Dealing with admissions and financial aid is just impossible!

Bobby Redfield

Mr McCall gave a very informative, skillful, and helpful forklift certification class on 10/26 & 10/27.

Rashida Burks

I took the fork lift course with Atlanta technical college and it was an awesome experience. The teacher Mr. McCall was very personable and thorough. Even though the course was just 2 day, we covered a lot of ground and Mr. McCall made sure we didn't leave without knowing more than what we did before we got there.

Johnny Dodson

Oct 10. To Dec 5. Night shift cdl class was awesome. Great instructors. Mr.Marlo Ross, Mr. Jarvis Todd, Mr. Jefferson Soloman, and Mrs. Vickey Cegraves. All great teachers. Actually know what there doing. Make sure you have everything together and accurate. Great advise on what we should look for when applying for a trucking company, the best way on doing your Manuevers and pre-trips. Learn a lot of things. Great Help.

jc mallett

The forklift certification training program was great. The instructor Mr Mccall, was very engaging and extremely knowledgeable on the class subjects. I am a US Marine Corps veteran, and I would definitely recommend this course for all military veterans.

Perry Shirley

Atlanta Tech fork lifting class was a wonderful course the instructor Mr.McCall did a great job of teaching the class and I recommend that more students attend this class

Tomeko McGowan

I would like to thank Atlanta Tech and the Urban league for giving me the opportunity to participate in such an enriching class. Being a female in a mostly male dominated field I am greatly appreciative to Mr. McCall for being so hands on and being patient enough to take the time to make sure that I had every point covered before letting me go. NO MAN LEFT BEHIND!!!!

joelgomerk v2

Everyone here are awesome people! The professors, financial aid, and business office personnel are all fantastic people. Some students may have problems with their financial aid, therefore prompting them to give a bad google rating etc., but that's an issue that has nothing to do with the staff's personality. Most professors allow special help sessions if a student needs extra help. If you applied to ATC and didn't get the desired results you want, or if you feel no one ever answers the phone, then leave a message or check out the website. Oftentimes, someone will return your call shortly. My advice to anyone complaining about Atlanta Technical College is to go somewhere else if you think it's that bad. Are there room for improvements? Sure there is, just like everything else in life. As long as you do your classwork, assignments etc. then you should and will have success at Atlanta Technical College.

Cherronda Grinter

This is in reference to the post on"Stolen education funds" 1st call the loan place that the money came from and make written complaint. 2nd Call the Department of education and make a complaint in writing. 3rd call the bulldog @cbs news. Hope this helps Oh!!! Make sure you document and save everything!!! EVERYTHING ;} I honestly hope it works out for you and all of their students

Saloni Marie

I was wondering if this place does ged classes for ages 17+

Debra Bonaparte

Listed phone number sounds like a personal line. Not business-like at all.

Justin Hudson

Doing the Atlanta technology college forklift training was a great experience and enjoyed the hands on experience that Mr. McCall gave during our training. I would definitely recommend anybody who want to further their education in forklifts to come here and take on this amazing course and easy registration.

gerald payne

I had great experience with mr mcCall ... He showed great energy with my whole class ... I’m really enjoy an will refer any person that wants quality training with certified forklift training to him ... Thanks Atlanta technical college for the knowledge!!!’

BLACKMONEY BERTO

i took Mr. McCalls class for forklifting and it was one of the best experiences ever as far as hands on on my way to the building it look abandon but all in all the instructors cool had no problems during the class also kept it energized with his spirit and will to make us great at forklifting

Jessica Vigueras

Mr. McCall was very helpful and understanding with me being a girl wanting to learn how to operate a lift . He shown me a lot In a short amount of time! I personally think it was worth what I paid!

Maggie Post

If I could give zero stars for how I have been treated by the staff in the registrars office I could. Which sucks because I spent four semesters at this school and liked (well respected) all of my teachers and especially felt helped by my programs instructors. UNFORTUNATELY, it has been OVER A YEAR since I finished one of my certification classes and the school REFUSES to give me the award that everyone in my class received. I paid the same time as them and have tried over and over and nobody seems to be available to help me. They keep saying they lost it or it will be printed with the next batch but its NEVER their fault. So I basically paid their $1500 plus fees for my first semester and have no way to put it on a resume. The registrars office seems to get an attitude with me every time I email or call them because they are "busy" but that's because the school cut their department in half and it didn't even work before hand!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO ANOTHER TECHNICAL COLLEGE.

Shaquita Jones

This place ruined my life for 4 years. I wish I could give this school no stars. I went here 4 years ago. I decided the program was not meant for me. So I quit. This school held my transcripts and told me I owed them. For Almost 2 years, I could not get into a school because every school I applied to needed this schools transcript. When they put it on my credit, it had messed me up so bad! I finally got into school and I'm graduating this month with my bachelor's in finance. If I had let this school try to keep me down, I would have still had no degree. This school was a disgrace and only cared about money, not a person's education. And I never owed them, I used financial aid from the government!

tavius mattox

Mr. McCall was a great instructor he took alot of time to make sure each individual get the proper one on one training as needed and overall experience was perfect.....

Demetrist Lee

I just want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the fantastic partnership between Atlanta tech and the urban league. The instructor Mr McCall is very hands on and was instrumental to my success on completing this training. He is a great liaison between Atlanta tech and the urban league. I highly recommend this training to anyone who wants real world experience on a forklift.

Stacey Swan

This school should be shut down completely. I regret applying to this school. The teachers DO NOT know the lessons, they NEVER!!!! answer the phone, financial aid is RUDE, admission is RUDE, and the list goes on. I was only ONE class away from graduation and they refuse to accept my aid and I was forced to pay for everything out of pocket even after they agreed it was not my fault. Mr. Baker in financial aid is the most disrespectful, nasty, and ugliest person Ii ever laid eyes on. This school is only about money they DO NOT care if the student has a good education. I have sat in the office and watch an employee talk badly about a student on top of watch them look at the phone as it rings. I strongly encourage anyone thinking about going here to PLEASE I BEG YOU PLEASE reconsider, and read all the reviews, they are 100% true.

Tay Neal

(Update) I took the Continued Education Forklift Training Class at ATC January 2019. My teacher was Mr. McCall and he did an outstanding Job with training me and my class on how to do forklifts. What I didn’t know was I would find a Forklift operator job 8 months later. We made resumes and gave it to him to send out but never got contacted by anyone. After months of applying to jobs with my new certification I had NO SUCH LUCK. I finally applied to the Marvelous DHL who retrained me on forklift for FREE upon hire and my entry level pay was what I wanted. I’m not saying you won’t get a job with this class because it does give you the skill. I’m just saying you won’t leave this class and immediately walk into being a forklift operator as most of the jobs want you to have 6Mo to 1 year experience.

Xavier Colvin

Great program! Excellent course for beginners; instructor Mr.Mcall was very informative great personality and teaching techniques. I would definitely recommend to anyone trying to pursue their forklift license.

Jolynna Jean-Pierre

good place for your education.

Kiara Brooks

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This is the worst college in Georgia to attend. The staff are very unfriendly and rude. The instructors are even worse. They make it known they are only there for a paycheck and does not care about your education at all. I turned in all documents on time , reviewed them with Mrs. Durham and 2 weeks before class i get an email stating they still need my test scores which i had delivered to them. I was purged from my classes because of a tax transcript I have been submitting since April. No one every follow up with you regarding Important documents. The system the have is not reliable. I did everything i was suppose to do I have saved over 11 emails of me trying to reach out to them. Not to mention the I drove to school on my lunch break . I get there and the staff talk to me as if I was helping me was a problem. The sad part is nothing is done about it. Someone need to fire everyone in there starting with the female doctor over Nursing program and Instructor India Smith the only two people who talk to students with respect is Mrs. Durham and Mrs Mary Pruitt.

Shane Smalls

Mr.McCall was very good instructor that help me very well.very professional good man.

Jasper Minor

I give Atlanta Tech no stars the worst school ever!!!! Ever one is rude except for derek Smith he is the best❤️but ever one else is rude and don’t care about none of the students .. I have applied to the school months ago and still is struggling with the Financial aid department. I have been up to the school numerous of times called emailed and everything else. Please take your time and energy else where!!!!!!!!

Alex Spencer

Can't reach anyone on their phones. It's almost impossible to do business with this school if you don't drive there for every question. They also dont respond to emails yet they tell you to email first. This is for people who are desperate and need some form of education. Do not attend if you are serious about your future. You will waste your time and money and sanity.

Ali Abdur-Raheem

Good Forklift class sessions Mr.Mcall really helps you learn all the functions about the equipment !!!

Mitch McCulloum

ZAYNA YOUNG FROM FINANCIAL AID NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE STAFF COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR STUDENTS. Most of the staff that works for Atlanta tech is there for NOTHING more than a paycheck. They lost my transcripts TWICE. Everytime I call and try to get help I get put on hold for 5 minutes and eventually hungup on. I then go up to the offices and the lady is being passive aggressive with me. I had another issue with my financial aid and the only thing they did was tell me what website to go to and I had to figure out the things they they should be helping me with on my own. The staff here has been terrible and has shown that they don’t care whether or not you start school or graduate. As long as the get their paycheck every other week they will throw you around loopholes.

Tricia Barton

Does ATC have a good photography program?

Myles Gray

Needed forklift certification from a well known establishment. The instructor Mr. McCall was very enthusiastic about teaching his students the ropes of forklift operation. Highly recommended for those looking for a legitimate teachings and wanting hands on experience.

J World

I had the opportunity to take the forklift training class through the fatherhood program with mr.McCall on Fulton industrial site. It was a great experience. Mr McCall is a wonderful instructor. I will be referring people because it was awesome.

Vince Tolo

Tldr; The avionics program here is a sham go to the FAA website for a list of approved schools near you and learn avionics from them. If you're interested in coming here for Avionics bench technician. Dont bother coming here. evening class students have had non consistent teachers who have no idea what they are teaching and instead, are told to just read their books with NO hands on training. All we get that is "hands on" is a elenco fm/am radio kit you can buy at frys and assemble it for two weeks of the class. Nothing about that is avionics. They tell you to get your FCC license and that will be enough but they do not teach you anything to get the license. You must study online on your own which isnt a big deal. The problem is when you are in class, you're not learning anything related to the field of study you are paying for. They say "your book is all you need" but what employer is going to say "oh you have no actual training but you read about it? Ok hired" . This school lost its A and P license in 2014 which is a huge red flag. Again we have NO hands on training for this program at a techincal school. What? But the other programs do. Thats fine and great but i came in for avionics and what I got was a pathetic attempt to teach me anything. They will tell you to get any job in aviation and just work your way up until the job teaches you avionics. But why tf do i need my job to teach me when I'm going to school for it? Literally any other program offered at this school is better than avionics. I wish i made this review sooner. Please do not come here for aviation. Go look up schools on the FAA website bc those are trustworthy. Just not Atlanta tech.

Thanks Atlanta Tec for my forklift training Mr McCall is a top instructor he make things easy to understand.i will always recommend this training program.

Atlanta technical college fork lift course is one of the best and informative courses i have ever taken. The instructor Mr. McCall was so helping as being helpful with ever step along the way. Urban league than you for making away for me to get in this course. It really has encouraged me to continue to push forward in life. Thank you all.

Florida Man

Watch yourself if you're looking for a good college. Trying to take their compass test was nerve-wracking, and even more so was trying to find out if they had a certain class I was looking for. I talked with the President of the School, and her attitude was booty. She sounded annoyed at me the entire phone conversation. Would I recommend others make this a candidate for school searching? Nah. Now, not everyone is a jerk at this school. I remember Ms Moses, she was pretty good. Some language here and there, but her selfless attitude trumped that negative quality.

saucyy zavii

Atlanta tech has the best forklift trainer MR McCall was the best he made me feel safe and taught a lot n just two days thanks a lot

Charnelle Cook

Took the forklift class with Mr. McCall and appreciated his patience and enthusiasm throughout. He works with you to make sure you understand the concepts presented. Highly recommended for individuals wanting hands on experience.

Brittani Jones

I personally have been trying to get in contact with the school for a while now. Today I still tried. But no answer. I'm a transfer student and I haven't started any of my summer classes just yet. Sad to say I may not continue my education with this school. I've been having to do everything with little to no help since I've relocated to this school. Never seen anything like it.

Jovana Hernandez

Atlanta Technical College forklift class with Mr. McCall was very informative and hands on. I have never driven any type of forklift. But after taking thus class with a great instructor. I am a comfortable and confident when driving a forklift. Thank you very much Mr. McCall!!!!!

DeVan BeHumble

Whatever you do, do not go here for computer programming; I graduated from here with honors, degree in comp programming & 3 certificates over a year ago & still am unemployed in IT. Waste of money & time. Career center and employees in the student center NEVER helped. Now I have loans etc and no job!!! Needless to say, I am back studying & pursuing my bachelors. I cry because of my decisions to stay here & graduate. Horrible college experience

Beautifully Perfect

I interpreted (ASL) for Mr. McCall's forklifting class; a two-day class held over the weekend. It was a hands-on experience and very informative. I am thinking about paying the small fee so that my daughter can take the class. What an amazing instructor.

Block Burna

I was referred to attend the Atlanta Technical College forklift certification course. I didn't know what to expect at first, but once the instructor Mr.Mcall introduced himself to the class he made me feel very welcomed and at ease. Mr.Mcall was very knowledgeable about the course and made everything real smooth and pleasant. If your looking to get forklift certified, this the guy to go to. Thanks again Mr.Mcall

Mr. McCall is an excellent teacher, awesome combination of real world experience w/ teaching skills....i also loved learning on the latest and greatest new Toyota forklifts....not those old trucks, I've heard are at some of the other schools.....

I Love TECH......

I came from Mississippi to attend this class and I made a great investment. Mr.McCall gave very thorough instruction and his class was very engaging. I am confident in the training I received, but would recommend Mr.McCall to anyone who is in need of Forklift Certification to definitely go through his training class.

F.(Siddiq) Jones

I would like to thank the American urban league for the opportunity to attend Atlanta technical College (OSHA)forklift certification class I-VII. The best equipment and the very best Training/Teaching a student can ask for. Extremely grateful to, Mr. McCall. Best instructor, he made what was hard easy for a beginner and, complicated tasks simple. If anyone is looking for someone to teach them everything about forklift operations, Atlanta technical College = Mr.McCall.

I graduated from the Multimedia and Design program formly known as Visual Communications in 2015. I started in 2012 and honestly its the most down to earth atmosphere. Depending on your program this school is great. If your going for cosmetology, automotive or graphic design this school is a great choice. They have come a long way with the rescources. Mac computers, equipment to lend for projects and the instructors are very knowledgeable. You may have some that arent up to part like any other school and financial aid is always fustrating like any school as well but patience n understanding is key. This school is one of the oldest institutions in Atlanta and is an urban area known for prostitution and low income minorities but thats why it's needed. You get what u can out this school and make it work for you. I have been to many other schools that were suppose to be prestige and its the same anywhere u go...if not worse.

wrote several emails and left several voice mails to get more information on a program offered at ATC without any response over the course of two weeks! Just spoke to an operator that had a major attitude telling me everything I want to know is online... not true! Then I was told I missed the deadline for something and I should have read that online. The only reason I was considering this school is because it is local, but this morning, I am 100% positive of another school with great communication, reviews, and 100% pass rate on an exam I will need when I complete the program I am interested in. While I wasted $20 getting my transcripts sent there, I definitely am not giving my time or money to a school with an attitude and lack of communication!

Almeric Hendricks

I love this school

Kivion Lewis

My experience at ATC was amazing. I took on the CDL Training Program. I can tell you the i was nervous at first, but working with the instructors we have in place got me to a comfort and high confidence position. During the 8wks they run down everything you will need to know and what not to do as a Professional Driver. I would recommend anyone who wants to get there CDL to attend ATC. Also I’d like to thank the instructors Mr. Solo, Mr. Russ, & Jarvis for the training.

Azrael Amias

Outstanding, training course I hade alot of fun taking this class. I have alot of respect for Mr.McCall well wishes for him and his family.

William Waiters

Recently i attended the forklift training class with Mr.Mcall as the instructor and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about ensuring my forklift training. Meeting all my needs.

Alex Ahenkuro

Need I say more? Simply amazing experience!!! Excellent instructor and an excellent leaning environment. I guess it was just worth whatever I paid for.

Willie Clary

The atlanta technical forklift class is a great hands on class and i recommend it to everyone who wants to learn how to drive a forklift. Mr mccall the instructor is a very skilled and knowledgeable instructor.

Dean

MY Forklift Training and certification was a very good class . My instructor Mr. McCall was very kind a helpful instructor. I recommend this class to everyone.

India Chambers

Mr. McCall class is wonderful. This was my 1st time ever driving a forklift and it was amazing and wonderful. The 2 day's I learn so much. This is worth the money

Mikiyas A

They have zeeeeeeeero service, specially financial service officers, absolutely zero, don’t go and waste your money and time.

Carnata Jackson

I took Mr. McCall class on forklift and highly recommend it learned a lot in two days. There's more hands on then class time so you will get a feel for the forklift. Classes are small and bring a resume. Lots of jobs.

Kim Robinson

A Detailed, compact thorough experience, and it was actually fun. The instructor is patient and knowledgeable.

Richard Russell

So far at ATC has been great experience really enjoying going school helping me farther my education like all things in life there areas they can improve

Marvin Harvey

Total waste of time and money. I would give it zero stars if possible. Staff is incompetent and unprofessional. The idiots purged me from all my classes when I was near completion because of an issue the school itself created. Don't waste your time or money choose another school!

Veronica Bass

Atlanta Technical College is by all means the road to a new and exciting educational experience. I recently graduated from the Marketing Management program at Atlanta Technical College. My experience was nothing short of amazing. I participated in four of the student organizations and I have had the opportunity to travel to other states and to another country. Moreover, I found stability, support, and gained a wealth of knowledge. I encourage anyone to go to Atlanta Technical College because it works. Atlanta Technical College prepares you for the world of work and is indeed a place for anyone who is going back into the workforce or seeking to acquire new knowledge and skills for a career move. I read these reviews and I do understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. However, some people do understand that situations and circumstances are what you make them. There is no flawless institute or business in this world. I have encountered more good than bad at this institute. Atlanta Technical College is always receiving accolades for its outstanding works. Atlanta Technical College was named the #1 Technical College in Georgia in 2012 and I think that alone speaks volumes. I encourage anyone who is pursuing an education not to rule Atlanta Technical College out because it is an outstanding institution that has supportive staff, great instructors, and a lot to offer.

587/5000 Financial aid's people denied me application because I am not a US citizen. Obviously, if I applied for financial aid, it is because I can receive this benefit, because I am a legal resident of this country. Besides, the guy who is there in financial aid sent me to enroll in military service, but after 25 years old we don't have to do it. So, I took him the documents to help them to understand what a legal resident is, and how the military service works, but it seems that getting educated about it was a lot of work. So they told me NO. However, GSU, accepted my application and obviously they already know the difference between citizenship and Green Card. in addition they know about the military service, ATC is sucks!!

Wesley Smith

I came from Yamaha in Newnan, Ga. Working through a temp service called Resource MFG. This has been a great experience to be educated on all fork lift trucks between safety and driving lessons. Mr. McCall the instructor is a very personable teacher, very kind and hands on with all students. This class was well worth the money and the time taken to become certified. I highly recommend anyone to take Mr. Mcall's class if you are looking to become certified in fork lift operations.

Win Wen

MR.Mccall and the Atlanta area teach are making sure that the forklift class, are doing so much great thing over there.

Cody Ogletree

If your looking for an opportunity in the Forklift Industries I would recommend taking the Atlanta Technical College Forklift Training and Certification Course giving by Instructor Mr. McCall ! Great guy whom is knowledgeable and great at explaining and showing the proper way to handle a forklift. Demonstrates safety as the first priority !!!

D Arthur

Awesome teacher Mr. McCall. Very hands-on, informative, funny guy. He made us feel at ease behind the wheel. I would recommend him to anybody. Thanks.

Brandon Johnson

Hey I'm in a fatherhood program that paid for this this well worth it training. It was a very fun learning process and a great skill to acquire .I thank Mr.McCall for the hands on learning because I needed a new trade. If you're looking for a forklift program come to Atlanta Technical College where you'll get your money's worth.

James Starrett

Mr. Mcall was a great instructor.

Cedrick Cunningham

I took the CDL class. I will advise anyone interested in taking CDL to take it here. It's the least expensive way I discovered. Hope scholarship payed for the entire class. I payed $300 to $350 for books,d.o.t physical, drug test, and driving test to make a life changing career move. The staff Ms.Vikki Seagraves,Marlo Ross,Jarvis Todd, and J. Solomon were outstanding. These people gave without hesitation their expertise and wisdom they gained from decades in the trucking industry (combined)making it very easy to learn how to properly, and safely operate a commercial vehicle. Thank you all sincerely.

Lillie Thompson

I'm from Savannah Ga and traveled all the way to Atlanta for a fork lift certification class with Mr. McCall. When I say Mr. McCall was the best, he is the best. He made class fun and interesting. I'm now a certified forklift driver. Thanks Mr. McCall

Zariyah Monae

MY 2 DAY TRAINING CLASS WAS A BLAST. ITS ALWAYS FUN TO LEARN NEW THINGS AND MY INSTRUCTOR MR.MCCALL WAS THE BEST.HE GAVE US HANDS ON TRAINING THAT WAS SO SIMPLE TO GRASP.

Markwayne White

Atlanta Tech forklift program is a good program very informative and mr. McCall is a great teacher.

Deborah Grimes

My son is enrolled in the welding program and is loving it! His teachers are experienced and very involved in his education. When he took the Compass exam. There were no problems and he got his results immediately after taking the test. As with any college, the first week is chaotic period! My suggestion is, IF you're serious about YOUR education, get up and go to the school. It should be obvious that it's hard to answer phones when there are students standing in front of you. The squeaky wheel gets the oil...Get up! Go to open house and orientation. Stand in the lines and get questions answered and stop expecting to be catered to from your cozy bed or sofa. Go get your education. After the first semester, it'll be so much easier and graduation will be there before you know it. STOP complaining and bringing down a GREAT affordable institution. Or at least don't dare complain because your paid too much and get the same results for the same education....

LottoBuck Baby

No. This School as of today has proven me that they only care about them selves and don’t have best interest in student. How do you mess up your job. Then you go in student file and steal my education money of summer 2018 my unsubsidized loan then basically correct the school mistake and error to cover them selves and take my money for 2018 to pay back a balance of last year. Different semester. My understanding and I looked into it. Summer semester don’t not have nothing to do with my fall semester of last year. So my money should be in my account for SUMMER SEMESTER. That’s the loan I applied for. I didn’t apply for this loan to pay off the school mistake and poor job and this is RIDICULOUS. I have been homeless living house to house can’t go to school because of this. and tell me it’s nothing y’all can do for me but put someone else on the phone to try to say it better so I can understand. No I understand and I understand that this is not the way a college or any business should handle situation like this. You throw my education to the back to fix your mistakes. Atlanta Technical College, ( start strong, stay strong, and finish strong) how can I do that when you making me weak and making me give up on my self cause yall taking my education money to use it to correct the school mistake of 2017. You take my money my education money and think it’s okay. ITS NOT OKAY THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW. And I’m pretty sure it is. I took out a summer semester 2018 unsubsidized loan for SUMMER AND TO HELP ME WITH FALL SEMESTER mess witch is the school fault AGAIN. And yall TAKE MY MONEY TO PAY OFF A BALANCE OF LAST YEAR (fall semester) but I received my summer grants and hope loans. Y’all should have took that money then!!!!!! This is ALL ATLANTA TECHNICAL COLLEGE FAULT AND IM MAD ABOUT THIS. I will fight this for as long as I can! You guys messed up a student education who chose YOU and Atlanta Technical College are bullying me to just understand that I own that amount of money so they took half of my money!!!!! No I don’t understand I feel robbed used and tricked!!!!!! PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOW WHO THE RIGHT PERSON TO TALK TO PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I have lost everything AND NOW MY SCHOOL AND MONEY! I really hope they can fix this problem and burden they put on me. I feel so horrible in and regret picking this school rn. I pray they FIX THIS THE RIGHT WAY AND GIVE ME MY EDUCATION MONEY BACK THAT THEY STOLE FROM ME! SO I CAN START MY EDUCATION JOURNEY AGAIN!

Mike Nuckles

Mr. McCall is an excellent forklift instructor. He makes sure he covers everything you need to know about being safe working with and around forklifts.

Andre Davis

I wish I could give less than 1 star because this school is really the most unprofessional college in the world. The admissions office will completely abandon their responsibilities if you have a situation that isn't simple for them to handle, enrollment is a complete joke and financial aid is the rudest people you'll ever meet. Please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. I'd hate for students to get in debt paying for a school that doesn't care about their future. RUN

Ciana Moore

Mr. McCall was an excellent instructor. I traveled from South Carolina to take his forklifting course and he was amazing. So worth it.

Richard G

Like the other person said in the post. THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!!! I turned in a document on December 10th. Its now January 4th and they still havent processed it. ITS ONLY 1 PAGE!!! Unbelievable. And they actually get paid for this type of work. On top of having fee's for everything. I mean EVERYTHING. Mad I chose this school. And I really wanted to like the place.

Marquis White

Mr McCall was very helpful he taught me a lot in only 48hrs one of the best teachers I’ve met, highly recommend Atlanta Tech’s forklift program

David Olson

The forklift class was great. From the teacher Mr. McCall who was very informative and helpful to the course itself that was hands on with lots of training. I would recommend this course to anyone whose looking to drive a forklift

Philleatra Boswell

I have had a few good professors at Atlanta Technical College but if you have a choice, go elsewhere. Some courses are only available once per year which can delay your graduation date. Also, some courses are only taught by very bad instructors. My dispute now is with the library. You can return a book but they don't credit the return, instead, they put a hold on your records preventing you from enrolling for the next semester. The library keeps no accurate records. They don't check to see if the book is on the shelves--nothing. All they want to do is put a hold on your re-registration to make you pay them money. My advice is to NEVER check a book out from the library. Thank goodness for the few good instructors I have had, but I would never recommend this college if you have choices. You do not need the agony.

Kenyatta Hillman

Mr. McCall, Forklift I-VII class was absolutely amazing and fun. The registration process was easy and stress free. I'm a former police officer, and this is not a profession that I'm used to. McCall, gave so much care and knowledge in the safe operation and handling of the different types of forklift. He also waited for students that were late for class because, as he stated often "no one is left behind". He made sure that the class received up to date info on the different types of forklifts. I hope he has a different type of forklift class, maybe on the repair of the trucks.

Elysea Crawford

I’m only giving your school 2 stars because I’m not sure how your professors are or even the rest of the staff, but I will say that there need to be some changes made to your student success center. I ended up enrolling into another school because of how rude the ladies were! Unacceptable.

Benji Ghost

Mr. Mcall I would like to thank you and the urban league for allowing me this opportunity. Your instructions are very prompt and your and training was definitely learnable and workable thank you for being hands on and thank you for teaching me and allowing me to learn something new Safety Safety Safety !!

Norris Tolliver

The forklift class was very informative! Thanks Mr. Mccall

Tyrah Antoine

The continuing education forklift training class is a really hands on class and Mr. McCall the instructor is very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. The class was small so everyone got their fair share of hands on experience. I highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to learn how to drive a forklift. The investment is well worth it and will pay for itself.

azeeza muhammad

As of currently, I'm trying to enroll in this school since my days are numbered I've been trying to get in contact with the admission's office. sadly I've gotten few to little responses. It's really frustrating to hear back from them at the last minute sometimes when I have important questions. Another thing I would like to address is the Accuplacer test, it's really aggravating when they tell you to study and take the test again but they don't really go in depth of what you did wrong so you can improve. so now I'm not so sure if I want to attend but I'll at least give it a try because everyone's experiences are different .if it comes down to it I might transfer to another college, I'm afraid. I'm only giving it 1 star because I have yet to experience it myself.

T Thompson

Pay close attention to the reviews.. Most of the five stars are for a particular teacher, have no 'likes', and seem contrived.. The 1 star reviews are for the Institution overall and have several likes.. I echo the other negative reviews. Unattentive staff (some are very unprofessional, ) hard to get in touch with, and harder to get a response.. I wish they had some of the same tenacity as some of the private colleges, but that won't happen as ATC banks on the fact that they are the most convenient and frugal option for some of us locals and unfortunately, in knowing that fact, they've compromised their integrity - imo.

Hannah Tobias

I had wanted to enroll in one of their programs... But, seriously? I've called and left voicemails for over three months with no response. I'll probably visit the campus when I have time, just out of curiosity about whether or not this is an actual school.

Jay Car

I had a very poor experience simply trying to get admitted to this place. I think I could have had an easier time getting into Yale. The admissions staff has this signature tag on their emails about "the student is the reason we are here. They are not an interruption. We are here for them and not the other way around" some odd mantra along those lines. Clearly a poor excuse for a leader thought that he could get his employees to be better just by adding a tag to their emails. Um, no. You simply have a bunch of ingrates on your team.

Franca Brooks

I took my forklift classes here. My instructor was Mr. McCall he made the class comfortable he was very helpful for the ones who were a little slower at learning. It was my first time on I was nervous and he made me feel like I could do it with no prob and I did! lol ...I am now omw to an interview wish me luck!⭐

Gabriel Rodgers

Thank you Atlanta tech in helping me reach my goals. I recently entered the fork lift program instructed by Mr. McCall. It was a great experience at first I was nervous doing something new but it was a great atmosphere. I really understood what Mr. McCall was teaching and it helped a lot thank you for opportunity atl tech

Jaden Stegall

I just came for the forklift training I came through eventbrite it didn't take long to process me in and I learn everything from scratch and it wasn't as hard as I would ever think it would be but my forklift teacher Mr.McCall was great he explained everything with timely manner and he was straight to the point with the lessons I never got confused and he was straight hands on and he was very polite Very well mannered .

Chevis Paul

I learned a lot from Mr. McCall in his forklift class
