It was an amazing place to go to and I have to regrets. For a community college it was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Great place, great students and teachers. I know anyone who comes here will enjoy themselves.

This is a really good school if you’re all about your academics. I’ve had my good times and my bad times here at MCC. Overall on the academic side of MCC I appreciate all of the hard work that most of my professors have done. There are professors here that definitely need to be more qualified with what they are teaching as it has affected my grades when I’ve taken their courses. I am an Honor student here at MCC with a GPA of 3.30 and have never once had an issue with organization skills until my 2019 spring semester. A couple of the professors have been unorganized, no syllabus and sometimes they have other priorities when they have to teach a class in other words they put another professor in place when they have to go to another job. Although these were a couple of issues within my time here at MCC I enjoyed the experience of learning new knowledge for my future career. I really liked a lot of my professors but a couple of them have been a little rough. If you communicate with your professors about your issues that you’re having it really helps and shows that you’re determined to do your work and it shows you care about your work as well. Environment wise I’d have to say it’s not healthy (mentally/physically) and or good for many people. There have been students who have left garbage all over the place and don’t clean up after themselves which leads to maintenance having to clean it all up. With my time here I have helped maintenance clean up other people’s messes so they don’t have to worry about it as much. Also the amount of vaping, drug use, and underage drinking in the lounge is unacceptable and nothing has been done to take care of this issue except shutting the lounge down. I feel as if this does nothing but illustrates that they can go elsewhere within the college and do these things. An authority figure should really take this into consideration and do something about this because it affects others who have nothing to do with these people and it ruins people’s Health. You can smell weed from a mile away and if people have asthma or a health condition this could affect them physically. I do not appreciate this at all and I wish something was done about it. The other big issue environmentally is the fact that the main cafeteria can get very loud and some students have no manners and do not respect others around them. If they are asked to quiet down they do the opposite It has gotten to the point where a lot of people have complained and yet nothing is done to prevent this from happening again. The college needs to have some control over what students do and take action on these issues. I wish that there could be some changes here and I hope for the best for everyone at MCC. Overall it is a good school for your academics but is definitely not a mentally healthy place environmentally. Even if you try to get away and go somewhere else for privacy somehow drama follows behind you. A Tip would be after your classes go home if you can or go to the back of the library in the quiet study room. I wish everyone the best of luck here at MCC and hope that everything goes well.

I have been attending MCC for about a year now. The school is always clean and the staff is always friendly and there is plenty of relaxing seating arrangements through out the school to provide good study spots. All of my teachers have been excellent. They were all willing to work one on one with students and took pride in teaching. Of course with all schools you will find an occasional professor who isn't passionate and just drones on with monotone lectures. MCC makes it easy to change classes early on in case you do clash with a professor or teaching style. Also, for a community college the grounds are very pleasant to look at. The building structure alone is impressive. Then, most importantly MCC is locally known as good school to employers and other colleges. So in the end, your degree can get you a job or transfer you to a 4 year school without question. It is a great school and learning environment. The one down fall I will admit to is it can be a bit difficult be waited on personally by an admission staff member, they are short staffed and there is always a line. How ever the person below scored them a 0 just for that reason. Ignore what this school has as an overall rating and read into the reviews. You will find this is a great school to attend.

I went to college here starting in 2010. The teachers were some of the best I've ever had. There's a phenomenal art department, an extensive STEM program, and sizable library. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I gave manchester community college one star because after my experience with disabilities service and how disgusting and unprofessional gal and Brenda were I am no longer interested in attending here or any college ever again scored the highest in my class individually and in the file group project as well my professor messaged me the positive email but gal and Brenda from disability service did not care I was continued to be mistreated and I filled a discussion complaint on manchester community colleges disability office my fall semester would have been great if it was not for disability services immature and awful behavior my perspective on college is no longer positive it is now disappointment and heartbroken on how manchester community college can discriminat against me for my autism or anyone else like me thats has a disability like me I made a lot of friends and I loved my professor she was very nice here but I figured out college was no longer for me and I will not be coming back nexts semester the disability services are not very supportive or knowledgeable with people with disabilities like me they should work on improving that field overall the college experience was good in community engagement an awesome credited class I will be looking for a different profession one that dose not need an college degree I know I'm smart and I want to be treated like everyone else and not feel uncomfortable about being labled to take smart start nonsense

Crooked school with crooked staff. Some of the professors here are okay, but in terms of quality in education, you're gonna have to do a lot of individual research as the schools corriculum is terrible compared to other state schools. Department heads treat their students horribly and don't help, while the executive officers in the school blackmail students into staying at the college in illegal ways. Don't believe me? See for yourself!

I can't say much about every aspect of this CC because I didn't experienced them all, but whatever I experienced was definitely good things and I think this is really great Community College. Of course they are some bad professors as everywhere, but I had mostly good ones that really want you to learn and they will help you with it. I wish they have Male basketball team but this is just personal need.

I currently attend MCC and I have to say this is the last semester I will be attending. I have been attending MCC since fall of 2017 and it was a great experience in the beginning, till now. For the first time going to college I dropped a class last week because I could not get the professor to email me back or let alone stick to what she said she was going to do. Last semester during human biology I was treated like a child and constantly battled with my professor for incorrectly grading papers or not going over material that popped up on tests/quizzes. Now, with this semester, aside form dropping a class, I am battling with yet another professor for being discriminatory and not doing their job (correcting papers, pretty simple). I am a deans list student who takes her college life VERY seriously and spends my hard earned money attending MCC. My current GPA is right around 3.75 and I have worked very hard to achieve the best that I can. Just today, I received an email that I was not accepted for the MCC scholarship. This is the last punch in the gut from MCC and some of their mediocre professors. Not all professors are mediocre, if your lucky to get a good one, cherish them and make sure they know how much you appreciate their hard work and dedication. Really let down right now with MCC, looks like things are going downhill pretty fast and I don’t want to stick around for it. I will be attending Goodwin for the duration of my associates degree (one credit away) and for my bachelors degree.

Transferred out of here after one semester. The staff is rude and the students are ruder. Parking situation was awful. Was extremely uncomfortable going to school. So glad I’m out of there

I am currently trying to transfer to this school and I rarely write reviews. The academic advising office is AWFUL! The first time I went into the office, I spoke with a counselor that informed me of a degree path in the field I am interested in, however she had no information on the program and said I have to do the research and figure out if I qualify for this degree path. WHAT? That is her job, not mine. So I go in to speak with another counselor a couple weeks later and I am told about another program because I did my research and I did not qualify for the first program. However, this other degree is not what I want it to be, but it allows me to be accepted into UCONN. Luckily, I did my own research and found out that I didn't qualify for this degree path either. So I would have done 2 years of school in another field for absolutely no reason. So next, I called the advising office to ask if there was another adviser that I could speak with. The office was currently having walk in appointments, so if I came into the office, I would be able to speak with him. I show up, he's not there. Okay, no big deal. I called again to schedule an appointment for Monday, it was Thursday at the time. So on Monday I showed up, he had to leave, so without calling me they rescheduled my appointment with one of the ladies I already spoke with. Even though I specifically asked to speak with him and explained what had happened already. If I would have been given a call and had been asked to reschedule, no big deal. So I asked if he was going to be there the next day for walk ins, the secretary says yes. Now I already don't trust this office. So this brings us to today, I called ahead because this office is incredibly unreliable. The secretary confirms the counselor will be there between 1-4. I show up 15 mins later, he has a meeting to go too. That will take at least an hour. What?! Classes start in less than a month and I may need to change them around again. Most class are already full. I will be lucky to get a class that I actually want to take because this office jerks around their students. I have wasted my time and gas going back and forth because the office staff can't get it together. And the reason I haven't mentioned names is because the counselor that I want to speak with hasn't done anything wrong. It is the office staff that has a HUGE communication issue. I plan to take one semester here because I have to and be done and just transfer to UCONN in the fall. I do not need this aggravation and I certainly do not need to be wasting my time and money on this dysfunctional school.

Beautiful campus, interesting classes, and great programs! The disability services are incredibly helpful, and give you every accommodation you need.

I LOVE my school. I am currently enrolled in the Criminal Justice program to get my AS in Criminal Justice. I take my class in the evenings because I work and all of my professors work or have worked in the field. I have been taught by a CT state's attorney, a Manchester police officer, and a couple of state crime lab employees. I love this school!!

I attended classes as a part time student who didn't go every semester from the fall of 2011 to the spring of 2017. What can I say about this place...? There were certain classes that I enjoyed and others I didn't, as expected with every school experience. There is support from the school that's in place if you need it. The one time I went to the math center I loathed the help I received from one of my former teachers (at the time she was my teacher). Overall; I overall had an acceptable time learning here. It's a fair start off college and also a good place to take additional courses to better yourself.

Decided to return to college for my Computer Science degree. I planned on paying out of pocket, so I decided to finish as many classes here before transferring to CCSU. Totally worth it. Great experience at the absolute best price. Most of the professors are the same that teach at UCONN and Central and provide the same education at a vastly superior price. If you work hard, they will work hard right along with you. Great student body, too, full of fun and bright students. If you want your education for half to one-quarter the cost, find out what transfers and attend!

Hello everyone i usually don’t leave feedback but after experience the worst I can’t stop myself. I highly recommend to all my Mcc people please do not DO NOT ever take prof. Umesh Vig he is the horrible prof I have ever in my life and he’s assistant of dean, he hold attitude for no reason and I have eye withness him flirting with one of the student because of that I guess he got some personal beef with me. I changed the college but whoever is still there wish u luck hope you don’t have to experience what I had.

I love this school. The class options are pretty good, the campus is beautiful, and despite the amount of people who come here I always find parking. I would recommend this school to anybody.

Their disability services at this college are very discriminatory for people diagnosed with a disability and they focus on your diagnoses more than your actual grades in college, according to my girlfriend.
