If you're using these ratings to make a decision on universities to attend, you might have bigger worries. But, I was able to cram 4 years into 5, drink a lot and learn a lot. There are few women, and if that has changed in ten years, then their overinflated sense of worth surely has not. Do not attend here if you do not absolutely have a passion for engineering/math/science. If you do, however, you will fit right in and make amazing, lasting friendships with like-minded people.

This school is not international student friendly, especially for PhD students. They can let you in, and they will kick you out by planting negative evidence against you. Most of the PhD student kicked out are asian. Professors are anti-asian, even some asian professors. I know a white professor who gets angry at student discussing in Chinese in class. Come on, they just arrive in the USA and they are not good at English. And you have to take class on Labor day, and independent day.

It could not have been a better fit for our son. Our experience has been positive throughout his first two years at Mines. The people are friendly and helpful. His professors have been exceptional and allowed him a research opportunity which he enjoys. Golden is the most lovely town which rounds out the whole Mines experience.

Since the dawn of 2017 I have wanted to eat dinner at Miner's Market. And let me tell you....I drove from Michigan to eat at this fine establishment. During my dine the ice cream was shamefully running low, but the unsung cafeteria hero of this story churned butter into cream in order to bring out 3 full kegs of ice cream! He put the TEAM on his back for this one. I would mounTEN/10 recommend eating here if you ever have the opportunity.

One of the best colleges campuses I've been on. Went here for graduate school and had a great time. It's clean and safe! I could walk home at midnight and never had to look over my shoulder. Golden is my favorite city in all of Colorado.

As visitor prospective, this campus seems small and limited spaces but views are beautiful, designed areas are not easy to find and understand, campus polices seem aggressive in patrol which could be better safety or too many issues around campus
