The G.E.D. instructor is cold hearted and does not care about the people that attend the class to further themselves. She is not willing to set up tutoring or offer extra help to those that need it. She also does not know how to use a smart phone or to lazy to notify students that she herself is skipping class. By her own admission you no longer need to know how to do Division " the calculators will do it for you". Makes me wonder if she knows how to do math herself. If this is just a g.e.d. teacher for this so called college... Makes me wonder about all the other instrustors...

Had them collect all my credits from all the schools I went to, wrapped it up and took it else where. Let them do the leg work, come on guys. If you believe for once second that anyone wants to help you get money that they want you're crazy!!! They only want money. Use their services, don't sign a thing or drop a dime and you'll be fine.

Worst school ive been to, rude staff and very unprofessional. Dont waste your time with this joke of a school.

Biggest scam I've ever seen. Don't fall for the pipe dreams.. They do not deliver on anything that they say.. I waisted 20 months going to this school and they did not provide one state certification when they said they pay for two. Don't be scammed and let the doors close on this place

This place doesn't even deserve a star rating!! I went to this school back in 2008 and was told by one of their employees Steve that my financial aid, pell grants and student loan was good to go. I find out 4 months later that my account was $6,000 short and I had to pay it in full before I could start school. A few of my friends graduated from this school and still have not found jobs in the medical field. They were even told they would receive $5,000 upon completing the program.....that was back in 2008.....here it is 2016 and nobody has seen their money yet!!! Don't even waste your time with this school especially if you're military or military dependent! All they do is tell lies after lies!!!! You will be in at least $6,000 in debt going to this school and won't find out til you're almost done with the program!!!

JORDAN THE FINANCIAL AID GURU Watch out, he'll assign you student loans when you don't ask for them. AND you never provided an accounted number or routing number for the funds because YOU NEVER SIGNED FOR THEM OR DID ANY PAPER WORK FOR THEM BUT you don't know this until.... YOU GET AN EMAIL SAYING YOUR ALMOST AN ADDITIONAL $9,999 IN DEBT THROUGH GREAT LAKES!!! What on earth! How!? Great lakes borrowing is awesome, i'm SO glad I got that email who knows when I would have found out. But what's worse is Jordans customer service with this issue, his language, voice inflection and tone when this is brought to his attention is the worst part of the experience, honestly. It really makes me question what he was doing, most people would be apologetic, so I can only wonder. Take responsibility for what you do, even when you mess up this guys character is lacking something fierce. The Dean is a good teacher here though, that's the only positive about this place...So ill give it a 1.1 star .

My experience with College America has been very rewarding and a valuable one. The faculty will help you from start to finish in any thing you wish to accomplish while your there. Upon completion of your degree, this school fights tooth and nail to secure you a suitable job. Unlike other schools, thease guys will actually help you!

I took radiology course which I passed while only attending 25% of the classes. This place is a joke and the higher ups are only looking to draw in cash. However the staff and students are very friendly and treat you almost like family (to a degree). Good people, bad system.

I am a recent student of the Colorado Springs campus. I first attended in 2015 and later change my degree in 2017-2018. The school is not an approved business college and my 121+ credits are not transferable. The staff while friendly enough will mislead you. The college has no standards for fees and cost, which can fluctuate from person to person. A lot of their policy will affect you based on how much they like you. Military persons please stay away from this college. They will over charge or add fees and extend graduation timelines to every plan you chose. I moved out of state to attend a University this past January. Found out first hand the school isn’t recognized as a Business or medical college and I would have to start over from year one. Do not make this your choice for education.

If I could give them ten starts I would! The people at this school are AMAZING! They are always willing to help! They are very personal!! I would recommend them to anyone wanting to go further in thier future! They are like family!!!

Seriously rude unprofessional staff. I called weeks ago to do the GED program they offered. I even verified last week if it was for this Friday May 3 at 9 am. The lady I spoke to on the phone said yes it will be at 9 for orientation. I show up 20 minutes before to do any paperwork if needed. The lady in the front office said they moved it to May 7 since the person that is doing orientation is out in Vegas. I was like seriously why didn't anyone called to let me know. I took time off work to do this. I even check the week they change it to verify. But wait... the lady in the front office had the nerve to say ( You can do another program elsewhere if you like) with a very sarcastic voice. I would have not been mad if they called and changed it instead of me arriving there and being told it got moved.I mean they had a week to call and inform. Like I said very unprofessional and rude staff. A waste of gas and missing work for nothing.

The only reason there is a star on here is because I don't have the option to not put one. I think gaining an education here would be more easily acquired If the books were up to date and not five years old.

Too expensive for an online college.

Alex Blank

Worst place to deal with plus it's expensive as hell... Online CS bachelors degree program = 75k debt. Financial aid people are very unhelpful and seem more like car sales men to me... You get access to virtual books for like 2 months after finishing the class then they expire and you don't get them back... even though you pay for the damn things... The laptop given to me was a POS and I literally haven't used it since I started my program...

Worst experience. Couldn't even use my useless degree and they racked up thousands in student loans and made it seem like it was actually a fraction of that. I ended up going to a different school and received an actual useful degree. I only received debt from them.
