DESCRIPTION

We have the opinions of real people who are purchasing the services and products of Thomas Aquinas College (College) in the state of California.

At present the business receives a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and this rating was based on 34 reviews.

You must have seen that the average score it has is practically the best one, and it is founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the rating is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied, it works.

You know that we don't usually stop to set evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

This College is included in the category of College.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. The administration is Harsh and judgmental. Wildey education claims to be a true liberal arts education based on the classics, it is of dubious real value. The job prospects of graduates of TAC are not worth the cost. More importantly however is that the administration is is judgemental and willing to crush young people. A state school often shows more compassion or reasonable judgment in dealing with young people then T AC. There is a very real Prospect of you making a very substantial investment and not only having nothing to show for it but actually a wounded child when you are done.

Thomas Aquinas College has truly been a blessing to our daughter who is entering her junior year. Freshman year she was so excited to come to this college and start reading all the "Great Books". We met so many wonderful students and families. The professors and all the staff made her feel so comfortable and at home. Having the Mass available daily and seeing the students and faculty attending just shows the deep love for Christ. My daughter was shy and I was afraid she would be lost at college but God has lead us to this amazing place and now I see her making so many friends and growing to new levels in class, where they speak out and discuss everything they are reading and learning in seminar. This college has so much to offer from a beautiful campus with stations of the cross, opportunities to go to San Francisco to March for Life, healthy delicious meals, to simply hanging out around a bonfire or playing piano. Oh and I can't forget the lovely chickens! I could go on and on...

In the words of Sir Anthony Hopkins, “Shangri La”.

Our child went to Thomas Aquinas for the summer Great Books Program and loved it - very affordable. However, if your child is eligible for merit scholarships, this is NOT the college for them. There are NONE. What we thought was a great experience last summer has turned into a complete nightmare. I should have done my research ahead of time.

Four-year liberal arts, Great Books undergraduate college in the Catholic tradition of education.

I am so grateful for the rare classical liberal arts education I received here. I learned to read, to write, and to think. Most important, I learned not to be intimidated by any thinker or branch of knowledge. A student who takes this curriculum ("race course") seriously will gain this healthy confidence and be able to do just about anything. I am also grateful for having met such earnest, faithful people. The caliber of friendships one makes here is without comparison. It helps that all students study the same books. One can easily engage upper or lower classmen. I was guided and helped by wiser upper classmen many times. What TAC has done with the campus since the 90s is incredible. It is Heaven on Earth!

Thomas Aquinas College has a generous financial aid program. It uses the standard FAFSA form to assess student and family need, but beyond that, it takes into consideration the family's tuition commitments for other children and any extraordinary health costs a family may have. The College also has a commitment to fill all demonstrated need that a student may have, beginning with a 13-hour/week work-study job. If after taking student loans there is still demonstrated need, the College provides all that is necessary from funds contributed by generous donors. The College also caps most student loans at $18,000, so as not to overburden our graduates as they begin to make their way in the world following graduation.
