I used Textbook Brokers throughout my undergrad and grad school years and I’ve never had an issue with them! Stellar customer service and they are the cheapest around in terms of textbooks! They are some hard working folks who will give you the most bang for your buck. Check them out!

Went in to pick up books. Had a question regarding return policy. Jeremy, the manager, very disrespectful, rude, speaking over me. Customer service was bad and basically was scammed. They didnt even have books in until 7+ days after ordering them. And then they dont let you return them even if its the first day getting them. Again, Jeremy, the manager was very rude and basically belittled everything I was asking.And still 7+ days later, they STILL don’t have all of my books I ordered almost two weeks ago.

When I went to rent my books, they insisted that they knew which books I needed, based off of my class schedule, and said that they didn't need to look at the list of books required for each class. Now, half way through the semester, my instructor is finally using the textbook, and they've given me the wrong one. This is the second time they've given me the wrong book. Verify everything they give you.

I’ve been using Textbook Brokers locations since my freshman year way back in 2011. It’s taken me almost 9 years and 3 different schools, but I’m about to graduate. And I’ve always used Textbook Brokers, in Monticello, Hot Springs, and now Little Rock. I love how easy they are to work with (I’ve forgotten return my books more times than I can count) and the excellent prices! I always compare prices and 99% of the time, they’re the cheaper option. Textbook brokers has taken care of me for the past 4 years now. They definitely have the best prices and they give you ample time to return rentals. If they don’t have the book you are needing, they will get it ordered for you right then and it will likely be there ready to pick up in the next couple days, if not the very next day. I love going here every semester because I don’t even have to try and figure out which books I need; I just show them my class schedule on my phone and they do all the heavy lifting! Not to mention the staff is very polite. I plan to continue to use them through grad school as well!

As an adult, I make sure to inquire about any return policies prior to purchase. As such, I have never had any problems with Textbook Brokers. They are more convenient to get to and cheaper than the campus bookstore. I just wish they'd carry apparel.

However, the store was lacking many of the textbooks i needed, and contrary to what i had heard about the store, they will not sell you a textbook for less if you show them an offer for less at a different location, including the UALR bookstore and websites.

Takes forever to get a book if you order in person bc you never know if the managers are in, they may give you a date in store but don’t expect it until about 3-4 days afterwards. Decent service. My advice: place an order in person if the managers are in and get their names. EDIT: This happened after I was given the wrong textbook for my class.

Great place to buy textbooks for UALR classes. They usually have all the books you need and you can rent/buy them for pretty cheap. In my opinion, it's easier to return their rentals than Amazon's because they are super close to campus and all you have to do is go by there and drop them off rather than find a box/print packing slip/find or buy packing tape/drive to UPS store. The staff are always super nice and helpful and their website is user friendly and easy to navigate. I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

The store usually has all the texts that are required for area schools. The staff is fairly personable. My # 1 complaint is that the buy back policy is pathetically unfair to those of us that paid full price for our many text, and could appreciate a more equitable buy back transaction at the end of semesters. That alone would encourage me to shop locally rather than look online.
