It's a small, private, liberal arts college located in the foothills of the Ozarks. What a beautiful campus with lots of outdoor activities available to the community.

“Life changing” are the closest words I can write to describe my experience at Lyon. I transferred in confused about academic goals and immediate found the welcoming and helpful atmosphere to be the catalysts toward planting my feet on a goal . I love my alma mater! This was the best life experience and taught me to think outside of the box and challenge my thinking.

I've had the pleasure of working with this campus as a speaker for the convocation and it was nothing but delightful. They were respectful, prompt and responsive, professional and courteous and made me want to perform my job better. It's an outstanding university with an authentic focus on character. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a small liberal arts campus that is student centered.
