Affordable acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatment! I love this place! The staff is great and the student practitioners are knowledgeable, thorough and precise. Don't be intimidated by student shifts as there's always an experienced student in the visit and they consult the doctor or certified practitioner before doing anything.

I went here an got what i pay for. First time to acupuncture and it did hurt. The "STUDENT" barely knew what she was doing an the "TEACHER" was super rough moving the needles around in me. I walked out sore from ALL the needles not some which the teacher said I'd only feel. For the price I was sketchy an I walked out never coming back for my "follow up". Next time I'll pay 80bucks and up for acupuncture lesson learned

If the American Medical College of Homeopathy program is accredited at PIHMA, I will have to give this school rating a minimum score. Many students were affected by their actions when they were a stand alone homeopathy school and I would not recommend students engage in this program at PIHMA. They hurt quite a few people with very little regard and were dishonest and non-transparent about their finances until the end. It was very difficult for students and the integrity within their program was sub-par as far as assessing students fairly, mentoring, or in grading. While there were a few honest people in the program, most of the experiences in this program both from a leadership and student end were rather manipulating. I would encourage students to look elsewhere for this training and be very wary of any training you receive. It is not to be trusted.

I've been going for 10 years, as long as I've lived in Phoenix and I would totally die without these folks. Seriously. This place has been the cornerstone of my health care. Just got a free appt for my 100th time! It's sad when you find a clinician you come to love and they graduate, but so grateful for this place. How can you not beat the price? I suffer from sciatic nerve pain and had a severe episode. I went to my family doctor and because I can't take muscle relaxers orally due to a sensitive stomach, she gave me a toradol injection (a muscle relaxer) and a prescription muscle relaxer. The following day, I was still in severed pain on my right side that shot down to my foot. At this point, I would rank my on a scale of 1 to 10 somewhere around an 8 or 9. I went to PHIMA to see if acupuncture would help ease the pain. I received an acupuncture treatment from Hanifah Muhammad and after the treatment, I would rank my pain level at a 4 and the following day, would rate it at a 2...it got progressively better. I scheduled another treatment the following day and after 3 days, the pain was completely gone. I have tried many muscle relaxers, pain meds and chiropractor treatments - to no avail. ACUPUNCTURE WORKS with no side effects. I would highly recommend PIHMA and will continue to go to get 'tune ups'. Thank you Dr. Hanifan!
