I start my last class tomorrow morning before I go on my extership. I have loved everything about this school and its instructors. Helpful atmosphere all around. There is always someone around who can help you or find someone who can. I will miss it when I am gone! Thanks College America for my Associate of Occupational Studies - Medical Specialties Degree!
Love this place! So far my favorites are Rosemary and Nikki they are the best! Always supportive and making learning a fun and easy process!
I decided to go back to finish my education here and my current class has been ok the only problem is I had to go out and buy a computer because they were unable to coordinate when to get me one. Third week back and got a dirty looking loaner I was told would be mine to use, got a bit grossed out, and wish they would remove that cost from what it's costing me to attend there.
The entire staff are so helpful and care about each student succeeding. They are very helpful even in a personal crisis. They are friendly and make learning fun. Half the time we had so much fun you forgot you were learning! They are very personal and invest so much of themselves into each student. I'm still friends with some of them and miss seeing them everyday. They did a great job preparing us for the real world.

Great school!
This is a high quality school that allows you to work at a fast pace with hands on training. I would highly recommend based on the high standards of education and the friendliness and compassion of the staff.

Hard
My wife went to nursing school here and half way through her degree they lost accredidation.
I just finished up my first class, as an accelerated program, you’ll be graduated before you know it. I’m class of 2019. It has been about 2 months in and it’s one of the best choices. I made a great choice choosing this campus! I attend Evening classes. Everyone is very friendly and helpful - sincere, too! Our class had about 9 students, but I appeciate The ratio this campus offers. The instructors are very hands on and willing to help students. The campus itself is very clean and decorated for the holidays! Everyone is welcoming. I highly Recommend this campus!
My life changed for the better the day I enrolled at CollegeAmerica. The staff is amazing at the Phoneix campus. I graduated 2016 with honors. They never gave up on me. I'm forever grateful.
A QUALİTY EDUCATİOn.
Can not get things correct
They seem to really care about each and every person that steps through those doors. Excellent place to start a career and better your life.
Good system
I"ve been attending for five months the school seems pretty legit. The cost of the college may be high, because they do not receive federal funding like other colleges. The cost may up there, but College America is a private school and ASU is a public university. I have attended Glendale Community College and Arizona College. I've seen some reviews about people having to study at home, this was funny, because what ever school you go to almost all your work and study time are done at home. In Arizona with a four year degree in accounting gives everybody the chance to take the CPA exam. It doesn't not matter what college you graduate from. The advisors were very helpful to me when I first signed up and continue to help if needed.

Went to go do the ged program. First of all I've been there once before, and they helped me pass mostly every test. Went back to finish things up and ALOT has changed. They tend to treat grown adults like children now. No hats, no slouching, no drinks, it's about to be summer and I feel sorry for women, since half of there wardrobe has been banned. The worst part about it? The new instructors. The math class was a mess. This lady has no idea how to teach. Then the worst part! The science teacher. This guy is the biggest tool I've ever encountered. They have a guy who can't pronounce words like "trachea" or "cerebral" teaching people. A guy who gets the functions of different body parts mixed up with each other. In my honest opinion I'd much rather pay for a ged class and know I'm actually going to be taught by someone qualified and on top of that treated like an adult even though that should go without saying. Really disappointed, the college itself I've heard is a horrible place to go learn, now the ged program is the same way.
Nice place. The student center is large enough to hold all the students at once. It's on the outskirts of Metrocenter, so there's lots of places to go to lunch during a busy day of school. Their curriculum offer's many topics of study, and they offer free brush up courses to keep you on the cutting edge of your chosen profession.
I love this place, shout out to miss Rosemary
Thank you for opportunities
Rosemary is the best ever!
Teacher's are the best I've ever had, they always go above and beyond for their students.
My experience at College America I have been at this school for four months and its going great with me. All the staffs and students are awesome we all get along and since I was at this college I had no problem with grades or my attendance their perfect and try to keep all my grades up because you don't want to fall behind. I'm graduating on Feb. 16 2015 the program I'm taking is business and by the time I finish I want to do music business why because I have friend that does music. they are good and they do their own beats and lyric themselves but sometime they would need my help so I help them not just the beats with their lyric too. Thank You College America for who I am while I'm at this school. Sterlin Benally

Great people who are willing to do their best to help you with everything. And get you on the right track to reach your career.
If you are looking to get your GED, then this is the place to go. Free classes to teach you what to know on the test and the GED is payed for by the school! (Only for people 18+) The teachers vary, but so far I've had all good ones. So come on down if you need your GED because this is worth it.
Very helpful with getting your GED
one of the best school I have been to
I started in 2015 and I graduate in May 2017. It has been the greatest experience and the Instructors are one of a kind. Medical Specialties is the program to be in. I've told as many people as would listen to go to College America, you won't regret it.
They called in my ex to give him an informational tour of the campus, which was nice of them. But the tour guide/representative, when helping him fill out his fafsa, told him to skip and disregard various aspects of crucial portions of the fafsa application. Also, they're extremely expensive. ~$42,000 for an associates degree in business...getting any BACHELORS degree at ASU is pretty much the same price. Definitely not worth it, in my opinion.
I love this place, shout out to miss Rosemary
I have read every comment here. Anyone who says this school is bad is caught up in raw unforgiving emotions. If there is a problem.. Why dont you face it and work it out like a big boy or girl instead of going onto a website where no one knows who you are and bad mouthing the people who you let talk you into attending their school. If ANYTHING. Our fingers need to point at our own selves because taking responsibility is more valued than writing a bad review just because you can. God bless and may we rise up to be a strong a mighty nation for the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal King Of Kings... Forever and Ever!
I went here and I am a veteran who served in the us military. I was told that they would do everything in thier power to get me help to get my gi bill, they did not. Now I am stuck with a bill more than what a associate's should cost anyone. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.
Love the school, love the medical program and I love all my instructors.
I would have given them a 5 star but I lost my binder and I asked about it and all they could say was "I didnt see it" and didnt attempt to help me at all. Even though they work there..
I am typing this review through someone else's account to protect my identity, Although I have only been attending this school for 7 months pursuing a degree in business, I have seen very few positive aspects that this school claims to possess; 1. I have seen administration openly argue in an inappropriate manner 2. I've been constantly approached by administration trying to enroll other students and encourage me give a personal testimony about the schools credibility (even though I know very little about it) 3. My mother has been insulted by the dean herself 4. They spy on your laptop usage They lure you in with the promise of a laptop (which I am using to write this review), the curriculum is solely an at home study with final exams on campus, they tell you that classes are small but they exceed 30+ students.... If I were you, I'd look into trade schools or military jobs which include certifications/experience. Best of luck to you all -Anonymous
I am a student at CollegeAmerica Phoenix campus and I love it. I am in the Medical Specialties Program. I have so much support from the school I know that if I ever needed anything I could always count on them. My parents were nervous when I first started at the school but they have grown to love it as well. I am learning so much, I am growing as an individual and as an adult. I am so thankful that I chose CollegeAmerica and would recommend them to anyone.
First of all, I am a graduate from College America. I believe my training has a big impact on my career today. I would recommend this college to anyone who wants a career in the medical field.. you get training for many things not just one thing. I am a medical assistant with the certification as an Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
College America was absolutely determined to get me enrolled in college. They gave me free training for my GED then paid for it and when I decided I wanted to enroll in College America they even gave me a scholarship to help me get through it. I would recommend this college to a friend or family. The only downside to my experience with College America I would have to say would be the material given for each course. %25 or so of the material in any given course was confusing and some of it didn't even apply to the assignments given. My experience with College America was good all in all and I would do it again if I wasn't already done.

This school is great. The staff are amazing. They truly care about their students even on a personal not just professional level. I graduated from the medical specialties program and if it had not been for Sharon Imperiale and Tammy Makula. After my dad died I blamed myself and I didn't attend class very much and I even went to Tammy to change to a different degree I didn't even care or have an interest in. They supported me and Sharon and Tammy told me that they were there for me and Sharon told me that there was nothing I could have done and it wasn't my fault and she even told me that all I had to do was communicate with her about anything and she asked me to not give up on my passion just yet. She asked me to attend class and later on after I was processing my grief and even today I am so glad they never gave up on me and never let me give up on my passion. So a special thanks to Tammy Makula and Sharon Imperiale.
People are so nice and actually be there to help you
