I have been going to the Coffee Mill for years, and they have earned a customer for life. The brewed coffee blends, which vary daily, as well as the lattes and specialty drinks are fresh and unique, and the oatmeal bake for breakfast is a treat that my entire family looks forward to every weekend. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and their efficiency is second to none during those hectic Saturday and Sunday mornings. Fontana is blessed to have such a wonderful specialty coffee shop.

My husband and I were in town for a weekend trip, and we are so glad we came across this local gem! We drove 30-minutes to relax with some great coffee and gluten free muffins. The character of the place is 5 stars as is the friendly, staff. A touch pricey though it is a product of the area. Baked oatmeal very, flavorful, hearty, and robust... almost the texture of granola- 5 stars. I had an iced americano which is my standard go-to. Due to base shot total being one less than the service standard (so two fewer than my taste buds), I made it a quad shot which as a consequence bumped the price. I also prefer a more earthy, full flavor espresso slightly lower in acidity. Due to these combinations I'd rate this average for my palate. However, to finish on a plus, the staff was accomodating in steaming and dissolving some sugar in the raw (the only sweetener route to go in my opinion) to top off my drink- a trick I recently learned at a hometown coffee shop while traveling in Idaho. Definitely worth a stop, if for nothing else because it is the most homegrown espresso shop in the area!

To whom it may concern. I was in the Lake Geneva area on business today, I woke up this morning looking forward to sitting down and having a great cup of coffee and a muffin at a local establishment. Google lead me to the Coffee Mill. When I walked in, It reminded me of a small version of a great coffee joint I had been to in Juneau Alaska. I was immediately taken back as I was not greeted by either worker in the establishment. There were only 2 customers at the time. As I was standing there waiting for someone to acknowledge or ask if they could take my order, a lady walked in and stepped in front of me as if I wasn’t even there. She was immediately, kindly greeted by whom I’m guessing was the owner and put her order in for multiple coffees. I was very taken back by the fact that I stood there and overlooked as if I was invisible. I turned and walked out, went across the street to the shell station and got a cup of coffee with better customer service than your establishment. You need to work on your customer service, all of your customers should be seen and served.

I was really disappointed when my $5 small strawberry smoothie was only half filled. But I thought, "hey, maybe it's just a really great smoothie." No. I dont know how you can mess up a strawberry smoothie, but the coffee mill managed to do so. Worst smoothie I've had. Only plus - they put a good amount of whipped cream on (mostly because there was half a cup they needed to fill, but still).
