This is, without question, the most hip place in Fairmont. Good pour-over coffee and a nice selection of speciality beers. A laid-back vibe, occasional live music and good service make this the great hope for the revival of downtown Fairmont.

I wasn't sure if I would love a pottery class (I'm not very creative), but it was amazing. Carol and Mike were excellent teachers - they were patient, but kept things moving along at a great pace. And they had samples and templates and idea-starters for beginners like me. Live music was playing in the next room, and they had a great selection of beers on tap. We went with a group of 8 people, and it was a perfect social event. Would definitely do it again!

Did a pottery class tonight with my wife, and had a ton of fun. I definitely think we'll be trying again.... especially considering it was tougher than I thought it would be to make an attractive mug. --- One of the best additions to Fairmont I can remember. The folks there are awesome. They are friendly and helpful. And the people being the best part is pretty impressive once you try a cup of coffee or have a great local beer. The Cowboy Caviar is good too!

I absolutely love this place. I get my coffee from the local roaster and co-owner of this awesome spot. It comes whole bean, and they grind it for me every time, no problem! Awesome atmosphere and a great place to meet up with people. I go there to meet up with friends that are passing through all the time. Highly recommend.

Everything was very good! Great BLT tacos, w side of tortilla chips & a corn n veggie salsa. And they wisely sell Parkersburg Brewing Co beers - yummy! Oh & took their Tiramisu home -- el delishio!! Kinda pricey ferr a lunch but very good!

Been meaning to come here since they opened finally got around to doing it, and I'm not disappointed the service here is wonderful and the I got to try the "lefty Lucy" red ale and it was great. Looks like I'll be stopping here alot more often. Love the atmosphere and it's just so comfortable. I highly recommend. *Update 2nd visit the argonaut lager is great and they are having a comedy show so this will be a great night. Still highly recommended! 4th visit in a week this time having a "Swilled Dog Hard Cider - pumpkin patch cider" it's like happiness in a blanket try it while they still have it.

An awesome newer business, Joe'n'Throw offers good coffee, beer, and some interesting and delicious food. The decor is nice and comfortable. The only real draw-back is that on the wrong night there isn't enough space to stand because so many people have come to love this establishment.

I just left and this was my last time coming here... I've tried to make it feel like a nice place to sit and have a coffee to relax, but honestly the staff is just rude. They are only nice to people they know, and when you try to just be nice and start a conversation, they are short and just not friendly. Then I go sit down and as I am reading on my phone the barista and her friend at the counter say something and both look over at me like I did something. I say bye and have a good day to the two baristas, and they dont even look because they are too busy conversing with friends. Overall I've came here over 30 times in the last year, and its slowly gotten worse. The coffee and beer are good, but I did NOT have this problem in Buckhannon at their other location, and honestly I'd rather just drive from Fairmont to get treated like a human being. I'll be driving to Jerry Dove from now on for Starbucks.

Love this place!! If you're coffee obsessed like I am, and have to have it every day, but you only like espresso-made fresh coffee, this is the place.. I only wish they would expand their menu, like their location in buckhannon! A good variety of Soups, salads, sandwiches.. even burgers would be great!!

We took a pottery class and it was incredible! I took my husband here for his birthday for a Wheel Throwing class with Mike. He is a wonderful teacher, I highly recommend the class. He was very patient with us learning this challenging skill that was brand new to us and very good at taking us step by step through the process. You really get to make everything on your own and certainly don't walk away feeling like the teacher actually made it for you. He only ever stepped in when we got close to the brink of disaster to get our bowl back on track. If you are looking for something slightly less intensive, the Hand Building classes will be a better place to start than Wheel throwing, but if you want to take on something really quite unique and interesting as well as a bit of a challenge, learning to throw at the wheel is unparalleled! So fun and rewarding. And after a few weeks you get to pick up your finished peice(s) and have a lovely and practical (depending on what you choose to make) keepsake forever! We walked away with a unique experience, having learned a skill, and a few peices of stoneware with sentimental value. Oh and the class comes with a free drink too! :)
