Its the coolest place in Logan to hang out & have great drinks. I had the new Firework smoothie & it was awesome! The staff is very laid back & friendly.. The Hot Cup has a very inviting laid back feel. You can go several times & still notice new art or new movie memorabilia. I love the the Harry Potter under the stairs room & how outside is like the train station where Harry is trying to get to the train to Hogwarts. It was the only restroom open for the Freedom festival ( huge fail on Logan County for not offering free public restrooms) so I wasn't happy I had to buy something so my 4 year old could potty. But I completely understand the owner's choice not to offer his business as the festival's restroom & think it was a very smart business move. Truly I'm happy I went in & had their fabulous special cotton candy flavored Firework Smoothie

Came from out of town - easily the best coffee in Logan. Nice shop, cute space, and a great variety of drinks. There are a lot of wordy signs outside of the shop and near the restrooms that tries to be polite but comes off as condescending and bossy to customers, even those who are trying to follow the rules.

The spiritual vibe, imaginative incorporation of memorabilia of movies and bands, funky decor, support of the local arts, along with the friendly and happy staff are beyond five stars. Even the patrons will include you in their warm embrace. They are the best of West Virginia. Oh, and by the way--fantastic coffee, and the smoothies looked amazing.

The chickens salad sandwich I got was absolutely fantastic. As well as the feeling the coffee shop gives off. I absolutely loved the artwork on the walls. Maybe one day I'll display some of my work there, that is if they would let me. I think the only thing that wasn't how I had hoped was the raspberry smoothie I got, tasted more like a thinned milk shake.

I really do love everything about this place. It's not very often that I have the chance to go in here, but when I do I'm never displeased. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The coffee is lovely. The WiFi is open and all the humans chill around and have a good time. They do poetry readings and comedy shows and more. This place is really worth checking into.

My healing place. Boss and his baristas have become GREAT friends. Boss has encouraged me through the roughest times. He has made me eat when I was sick. He's the best!
